Does anyone else feel discouraged with their writing when no one comments on their stories? Cause right now that's how I'm feeling. I see that I get quite a few reads on my story but never any comments. And right now I'm feeling so discouraged to even continue writing because I feel like I'm wasting my time having people just read and not taking the time to even leave one comment.

Sometimes it's not about the comments. It is about the joy of writing and creating characters.

I understand where you are coming from, but ultimately, like King of the Klondike said, you have to consider who you are really writing for, and ideally, I would think you're writing for you yourself.
Also, you're lucky to have readers. The last three updates to my story have literally had no readers except where Mibba counts where I've clicked on it to make sure it posted correctly. Like I have literally no one reading my story on this website right now, but ultimately I can deal with that because I'm still satisfied with what I wrote.

Also, as maybe some more helpful and less preachy (sorry if I seemed preachy or whatever though. I seriously didn't intend that at all!) advice would be to try posting on other websites. I find that my story gets a lot more readers and quite a bit more feedback (even if it's just a kudos/rec rather than a comment) on Archive of Our Own, for example. If you have other places that you can share your work, you are more likely to get the feedback that you want.
