Organizational Post

Hey, everyone. Right now I have everyone who asked to be involved listed as a "author" but, if I'm remembering correctly, not everyone who signed up wanted to be an author (or not just an author). So, can everyone just leave a post letting me know what part you're willing to work on for this story?

Organizational Post II

Hello, everyone!

I just started a story page - right now it's blank and we'll need to fill it in eventually - so that we can get started on characters. If you're interested in being a writing and you want to start working on your character, you can. When you can, try to write up a little something on your character and you can get it added to the story's character page - that way we'll know what everyone is working on. (Once you've sent in your character blurb, you'll be added as an author to the story.)

Question: Should authors write about their character from the POV of an author writing about a character or should it from the character's perspective - something close to the character writing a bit of an intro about themselves to the rest of the group - or should it be more like a file about the character, maybe something more akin to what you'd see in like rehab facility's files?

I would love to be an author! As for the question I'm sure you're talking about the character page, right? I think it would be cool to have the character page like a file you would see in a rehab facility.

When we finish writing up our characters? Should we submit them to this thread?

Sorry I have been MIA. I haven't had time to read through the whole thread, but now that I have. If it's still open, can I be like a therapist character? I guess that person would be like a reoccurring character in the story versus a true member of it. I'd really like that part though, if it's still open.

And you can definitely be a therapist character. You can make a bio and submit it and then I'll get you added to the story.

Organizational Post III

Hello, everyone. A couple of things:

Character bios

If you're an author, please have your character bios in by the end of January 21st. Once you do, you'll be added as an author to the story. (If you need extra time, let me know so we can figure something out.) You can find a list of the current character bios submitted here and you can see a list of submitted characters on the story's page here.

Organizational posts

I'll try to tag all organizational posts so that everyone gets an alert when they come up. When you see one, please read it and respond, so I know everyone's getting all the information. Also, try to read all posts made in this forum and respond, so we're all up to speed and no one gets left out. (So far there's 3 organizational posts in this thread - one - two - three - if you haven't responded to them yet, please do so soon.)

Story layout/Cover Image

I'm going to add a pretty basic story layout, for now, but once we get the first chapter up, we'll need a permanent layout (as well as title!), so if you're interested in putting one together, please do. If possible, you can create a layout, publish it, and then let us know so we can take a look. Once everyone (who wants to) submits a layout (or some layouts), we'll vote on which one we like best.

We'll also need a story cover image. If you have any ideas/images you want to share, we can do the same as above - get a collection of cover submissions and then we'll vote on whichever one we want.
