    (I'm sorry if it sucks a bit. D: )

Finn wasn't entirely sure whether he should be excited about being on Earth or not. Because of him, two guys were dead now, because he had decided to do his usual spacewalking. Having unbuckled himself during the flight, admittedly to show off a bit and have a little fun, he hadn't necessarily expected for others to follow him. He didn't entirely mind, though, because it had been fun - until the ride started getting a little bumpy and everything went amiss. While he had survived the overall landing without any injuries, the other two who had tried to follow his lead hadn't survived at all and he couldn't help but to feel guilty. Trying to force that guilt away, he moved to stand up, looking around as he watched the others go towards the entrance and he followed suit, though he wasn't entirely sure whether stepping out was a smart idea or not. For all they knew, they could be walking straight to their deaths. Wasn't that why they had been sent by the Ark, anyways? Even the chancellor had said that they were expendable.

Trying to avoid bumping into others, it didn't take him long to get to the front of the group and he stared at the exit. "Well, this ought to be fun," he told himself, hoping that things didn't go awry all the more. They had already lost two to their descent to Earth. How many would die just by walking out of the door? All of them, probably, if the air was really as toxic as everybody assumed. He hoped that wasn't the case, though, because he wanted to live. Didn't they all?
Earth was going to be a place of new beginnings, new chances. That was what Aria told herself in the ship that they took down to Earth, and the only chance she really cared about was seeing her sister again. Sure, she got to visit her on occasion, but it wasn't often enough. And they were twins, so it was only expected that she'd want to see more of her sister, right? Aria wasn't even necessarily supposed to be sent to Earth. She hadn't been arrested too long ago, though. The moment their father, who worked in the medical area, told her that they would be sending Evie down to Earth with the rest of the 100, Aria had taken it upon herself to get herself arrested so that she could be sent down with Evie. She wasn't going to let her sister go down there alone, with the possibility of dying on Earth within moments. It hadn't been difficult, just an argument with a guard and a punch to the man's face. Then, she was locked up and ready to go.

And, now, she was in the ship as it landed and, though she should have been concentrating on the fact that they were on Earth, she was more so concentrating on the matter of finding her sister. The moment the buckles unlocked, she was out of her seat, eyes searching for her twin. At first, she couldn't see her, not with everybody eagerly standing and moving to go to the exit of the ship, but it didn't take her long to spot her sister and relief washed over her. "Evie!" she called out as she tried to weave her way through the people crowding around.

Bellamy had already been reunited with Octavia, his little sister, who had been taken from him when he was a bit younger. "Be the first to step on Earth," He smiled at his sister and watched her as she walked down the ramp, she took a few seconds before taking the first step onto the Earth's dirt ground. He smiled widely when cheers from the other 100 people who were quick to follow her, he hadn't seen her for so long but now they could spend their the rest of their lives together. However long that would be, he had no idea but the air hadn't been toxic and was fresh so that was a huge start for the group. He stood back for a little and just watched everyone celebrate, he inhaled the air through his nose and let his dark eyes wonder over all the trees that were surrounding them. He stretched his arms above his head as this was a fresh start for him, he couldn't let anyone know the reason why he had been arrested and put onto the ship. He had a reason to not let anyone else from the Ark come down, now he just had to convince the others that it was best for them if no one followed them down to Earth. It was extremely selfish of him but he couldn't care less, he had lost his mother and his sister was taken from him. He had a right to be selfish and he was going to be it for as long as he possibly could.

Glancing behind him, a frown appeared between his thick brows. He had only heard that one Palmer twin had been arrested for something. But why were they both there? He never had anything to do with the twins, he was 'lower' than them and he was angry at them. His sister was locked up for being born but nothing happened to the twins or their parents, how was that fair? Turning he walked off the ship, whatever good mood he had when the ship landed had vanished within minutes.
Evie had only been placed on the ship headed to Earth because she was protecting her sister, there had been a guy on the Ark who continued to hit on Aria even after she told him that she wasn't interested. So she took things into her own hands and broke his nose, a guard saw everything and she was arrested for it. It was something she never told her sister and had begged her parents not to say anything either, if they did or not she wasn't sure. She had only seen her Dad for a few seconds before she was taken away, so when a familiar voice called out her name she couldn't believe it. Turning she watched her older sister, only by ten minutes, push through the crowd of other kids to get to her. "Aria?" She moved towards her sister and wrapped her arms tightly around her body, she never wanted to let her twin go. "What are you doing here? Aria, you shouldn't be here." She told her twin, deep down she was so happy and relived that she had Aria there with her.

But Evie still didn't want her there because she didn't deserve it, Aria was the nicest person and had the biggest heart. Evie sighed softly as she looked at her twin, it had hurt them both when she was arrested and they weren't allowed to see each other that often. They went from seeing each other everyday and spending all their time together, to hardly seeing one another.

In all honesty, Finn was a bit taken by surprise to see the twins amongst the people in the ship. Sure, everybody was aware that one had gotten arrested, but not both. Unlike the others, though, he didn't really judge them. It was better to judge people based on their behavior, not on their family, really. Maybe he only thought that way because he liked to consider himself as a good guy, but he supposed it didn't necessarily matter. Making his way off the ship, he grinned to himself as he watched the others eagerly begin to explore, though they didn't wander too far - which was probably a good thing, since he figured they should all probably stick together, in case there were dangerous things on Earth. Considering it had been ravaged with nuclear bombs, though, he figured there wasn't too much to worry about, since nothing was supposed to have survived the attack. Who knew, though? He could be wrong with that assumption; it was just something that everybody on the Ark assumed - otherwise, they probably would have been back to Earth sooner than now. Which begged the question to why they were there. Better to think about that later, though, when there wasn't the possibility of getting stampeded by everybody who was coming off the ship.

For now, higher ground was probably better. Moving to climb up the ship, he sat as far up as he could manage, looking over his surroundings, watching the others move about. "Definitely worth the trip," he joked to himself, because it was. They were back on Earth a whole four generations sooner than anybody thought they would be. That was something to be proud of, he decided, but he reminded himself that they also needed to be cautious. He doubted everybody would assume that, though, because he could already see Murphy sauntering around like he owned the place. It was a bit ridiculous, but he was certain Murphy would pick a fight with anybody, because Murphy wasn't exactly the kindest of people. Far from it, actually, but that wasn't too much of a surprise. A bunch of kids weren't exactly kind after being locked up or losing their family to being floated.
Aria couldn't help but to grin when she felt her sister's arms tightly around herself and she happily returned the hug, thankful for the contact after so long. "You really think I would have let you come down to Earth alone?" she asked before she let out a laugh and shook her head, pulling back and eyeing her sister for a long moment. "We were born together, we might as well possibly die together, right?" But, it didn't look like they were going to be dying any time soon, since the air wasn't killing them yet - and, hopefully, it would stay that way. With the possibility of getting to be here, to live here, with her sister and not have to worry about what the people on the Ark thought about it, she couldn't possibly be happier. She had the chance to be by her sister's side again and she wouldn't have ever passed that chance up, not when she and her sister were so close before her sister got locked away. Of course, she was unaware of why her sister had gotten arrested in the first place, but she assumed that it was because of something ridiculous, because that was how the Ark worked. Any crime, even being born, was against the law and most people were against it.

She looked over when she heard the ramp open and she turned her attention over, watching others as they excitedly escaped the ship. Admittedly, she was a bit more hesitant, only because she didn't want to part ways with her sister just yet and because she was certain that most people on the ship just wouldn't like either of them. It didn't make sense to her, honestly; they hadn't been the ones to decide the laws and they hadn't been the ones to break the laws. It wasn't even their mother's fault that she had twins. She assumed that everybody thought it was special treatment, due to them being "privileged" or something along the lines of that, but it didn't matter much. Looking to her sister, she offered a small smile. "Ready to see what Earth has to offer?"

Bellamy was amazed with how the Earth was, of course he had imagined what he could in his mind like everyone else. But seeing what the world looked like now, was more than he could have ever thought. It was beautiful and yet he knew, danger could be hiding everywhere. Especially being in what seemed to be a forest, even before the bombs any forest could be deadly if you weren't paying attention to where you were going or to what you were doing. He was admiring the world while also keeping an eye on his sister, he needed to protect her because that was his job. He was her big brother and ever since she was a newborn baby, he had been taking care of her which wasn't going to be stopping now. In fact his protective would only increase now that they were free from the Ark, he glanced over his shoulder and saw that the twins were the last ones to walk off the drop ship. He'd have to keep an eye on them both, he didn't know them but he still didn't like them. But he could only imagine that he wasn't alone in how he felt about the twins, they weren't the most popular among the working class people on the Ark. It would only be worse now that they weren't privileged anymore, they didn't have any guards to hide behind or their parents there to usher them away. They were all in the real world now.

Then he noticed another privileged brat, Clarke, she was getting herself ready to head off in search of Mount Weather which apparently had an underground bunker that they had been told to get to once they landed. He told her to take it easy and enjoy being on Earth, however she didn't listen to him and continued on her way which he didn't stop her. They had no rules so she could do whatever she wanted, although he knew they needed to survive all of this. They needed to build a camp for themselves though he would deal with that later, right now they all deserved to just enjoy being on Earth.
Evie smiled at her sister and shook her head, "And people always thought I was the stubborn one." She smiled as she looked at Aria and just took her in, needing to make sure that she wasn't dreaming and her sister was in fact standing right there in front of her. "When the time comes, I'll be right by your side. But hopefully that won't be happening for a long time, Mom and Dad would have freaked out when you got yourself arrested. You'll have to tell me all about it later," She gave her sister another tight hug before glancing out at the world that was waiting for them, "I'm as ready as I'll ever be." She sighed softly as she was nervous about leaving the ship, no one had died apart from the two kids who had gotten out of their seats during the fall. That had to be a good sign, the air was good and the ground was stable. She knew she would have gotten treated badly if she was on her own down here, but now that Aria was there she could only think it would be worse. But at least they were together and they could deal with the people together, if someone messed with one twin they they messed with both. It had always been that way and nothing would change that.

She unwrapped her arms from her sister but entwined their fingers together instead, it was a habit Evie had when she was feeling nervous or scared. She had always done it when they were younger, it seems that she was never too old to hold her sister's hand. She took steps with Aria towards and down the ramp, she inhaled the fresh air into her lungs and looked around in amazement. "Wow, it's even more beautiful than I thought it would be." She spoke quietly so only her sister would hear her voice.

Finn watched the interaction between Bellamy and Clarke, admittedly a bit amused because it seemed that Clarke was already starting to take charge - or, at least, she was trying to follow the orders that Jaha had given out. He supposed he could understand everybody's reluctance to join her, because he doubted that she would be able to carry anything back with her, but was it really necessary? Still, she seemed to be trying to get others to go along with her and Finn wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to go or not. Sure, he was always up for adventure, but, then, he was also eager to just relax a bit, considering they had all gotten practically forced into the drop ship in the first place and the landing had been pretty rough. They didn't really have to go straight away, did they? Couldn't they just enjoy themselves for a bit? After all, they had just landed on Earth and they were the first humans to be there in almost a hundred years, so what was the rush in hurrying to some mountain when they could just revel in the fact that they were there now before anybody else? Ignoring these thoughts, he turned his attention down when he noticed others looking towards the entrance of the drop ship. Ah, the twins had emerged; it was about time, honestly, but he wasn't going to complain. He supposed they had the right to be cautious, considering they were surrounded by people who disliked them.

"Is anybody going to help me?" Clarked asked and, despite himself and despite knowing that he would probably get a lot betrayed looks from most of the others, he jumped down from the drop ship, grinning. "Sounds like an adventure. I wouldn't mind joining," he chimed, leaning against the drop ship while he and Clarke waited for anybody else to speak up about joining. Honestly, he doubted anybody would, except perhaps Wells, but it seemed he had already had a run-in with Murphy, because he was kind of limping. Finn honestly felt bad for the guy. "Anybody else?" Clarke questioned, glancing around in hopes that others would join because they needed to get as much supplies back as they could manage to - and two people weren't going to be able to carry much back alone, unfortunately.
"Stubbornness runs in the family," Aria joked lightly, unable to help it. It was glorious, being able to hug and talk to her sister again, like old times and she didn't want to give it up again. She shook her head later, though. "Mom probably freaked, but Dad wasn't too worried about it. He was the one who told me you were being sent here, so I think he kind of wanted me to come along, if only to keep an eye on you," she told her, the last bit coming off a little more teasing as she nudged her sister. She tried not to worry about the matter of having to deal with all of the others, because she was certain they all hated the two of them. They had each other, though, and that was all that mattered because, honestly, together, she was certain she and her twin could do pretty much anything, including earn their place amongst the rest of these people. That's what they needed to do, she realized - to earn their place, rather than to let others tear them down like she knew they might try to do. If they earned their place in the group and became valuable members, then nobody would be able to talk about how privileged they were, she assumed. Or, more so, she hoped, anyways.

Giving her sister's hand a gentle squeeze, she followed Evie's lead out of the ship. The air was sweet and wonderful and she couldn't believe how pure it seemed to be. Taking a few deep breaths, she let out a long breath and grinned broadly, rather happy to enjoy this new thing. Nodding her agreement, she looked to Evie and couldn't help but to be glad that, not only was the Earth beautiful, but that she was there with her sister, that she had come there to be with her sister and it was the best choice she had made so far. Turning her attention back to the area around them, she took in the sight of all the green. "We'll have to be careful here, Evie," she whispered after a moment, noticing that a few people had turned their heads to stare at the both of them, some scowling, some just looking completely annoyed with their presence. "We'll have to find some way to get them to trust us, huh?"

Bellamy shook his head when he noticed Clarke had looked at him, she was going to be on her own. If she wanted to try and control everyone like her mother, than she could but he knew she'd be alone. However he watched Murphy make a harsh comment to the blonde and he only rolled his eyes, he was pretty sure Clarke could handle herself. He moved to stand beside his sister to make sure that she didn't go, he was only there to protect her and keep her safe. He couldn't do that if she ran off on the first adventure that came up, thankfully she didn't but he did notice two other's were pulled into the group by Finn. He wasn't sure what their names were but he had seen them before on the Ark, Monty and Jasper he thought their names were but he wasn't positive about that. Glancing around at the group, some were more interested in sending glares to the twins than listening to Clarke who asked again for anyone who wanted to go with them. Her voice was so annoying and he wanted her to leave already, if she wanted to try and find supplies than she was free to go right ahead. He wasn't looking forward to how the people were going to treat the twins, he didn't like them but he still wasn't going to be rude or cruel to them. He probably wouldn't give them much of his attention, but would he actually stop others from harassing them? He wasn't sure, when the time came he'd figure out what he was going to do.

"Off you go, Princess." He called out to Clarke and the three others who decided to join her, the sooner they left on their little mission the sooner everyone else to continue to enjoy themselves. The blonde really wasn't any fun and if she continued to stay like this, then she'd be a mood killer as well. Just what they needed, they hadn't even been on Earth for thirty minutes and she was already trying to lead the way. Well she had another thing coming because he wouldn't let that happen, he seemed to be the oldest one there so it was obvious that he should be in charge and he was also the only one who had a gun. Something no one knew yet, but he'd make it known soon enough when the time when right.
"I know and sometimes it really does suck," Evie smiled at her sister knowing all four of them were stubborn, she sighed softly as she looked at her sister. "Of course Dad did, he worries too much and so does Mom. But I am glad that you're here with me," She knew that if she didn't have her sister there with her, she wasn't even sure how long she'd last. Of course she would have fought until her family came down once they knew it was safe, but that would have been torture. It was torture just being away from her family when she got herself arrested, she thought she had waited long enough to be released but then the guards forced a band on her wrist and shoved her into the drop ship. "I don't need a babysitter," She smiled shaking her head a little, their Dad knew that they needed to be together. He couldn't keep them apart any longer and although he could possibly lose them both, he was willing to risk that so they could see each other. "I know we will, but we'll be fine. We have each other after all, and all I need is you." She told her sister in a whisper, she ignored the glares and looks that some people were giving them. She was used to it but it still hurt, she wasn't going to care about what these people thought or said about her and Aria.

"I think that's a way to start making our place in this group, I'll be fine and I'll see you soon." She promised her sister giving her hand a little squeeze, she inhaled deeply before she let Aria's hand go and stepped forward. "I'll join you, Clarke." She spoke loud enough for everyone to hear, she glanced back at Aria and gave her a reassuring smile as she stepped onto the ground and walked over to the group that Clarke had gotten herself. She didn't want to leave her sister so soon after seeing her again, but the sooner they started doing things in the group the better. They needed people to see them as equals because they had always been equals, their parents raised them well so of course Evie was going to volunteer.

Once the group was decided on, Clarke was quick to lead them out, after telling everybody that they shouldn't take off their bracelets because they sent their vital signs to the Ark and taking them off would make everybody think they were dead. Monty and Jasper were quick to follow in tow behind Clarke, though Finn kept just a bit of distance away, glancing over to the Palmer twin. He wasn't entirely sure whether she was the one who had gotten arrested first or if she was the one who had somehow managed to find a way onto the ship. And, he wasn't exactly the most subtle person, so he decided to voice his question. "So, which twin are you, anyways?" he asked with curiosity. He was pretty sure he knew the twins' names - or, at least, he knew the name of the one that had gotten arrested because it had been major gossip for a while and he had gotten arrested not long after her. But he didn't know which twin was which because he had never actually spoken to either of them. There were obvious differences, of course, that made it a little easy to tell them apart, but how could anybody tell them apart without knowing both of their names? By this time, even Jasper and Monty had glanced back, a bit curious about the girl's answer as well and Finn felt a little guilty for putting all the attention on the girl.

The only one who didn't look back was Clarke, but that was either because she was too focused on getting to Mount Weather or because she already knew which twin the girl was - which was likely, considering Clarke was a privileged, just like the twins were. "Guys, don't stare at her," Clarke snapped after a moment, only when she glanced back to see what the others were talking about. "But, we're curious," Monty pointed out. Yeah, okay, now Finn really did feel guilty about starting the mess. "Honestly, we're probably the only three of the non-privileged who won't really judge you," Finn said quickly, motioning to himself, Monty and Jasper before looking back to the Palmer twin, "I mean, if that makes it any easier for you to not feel awkward around us."
"Be careful," Aria whispered to her sister moments before she agreed to join Clarke. She had faith in her sister, that she'd be okay, because they were strong-willed. Of course, she doubted anybody here would ever believe that, which she supposed worked in their advantage. If people thought of them as weak, then they could prove them wrong and maybe gain a bit of approval from the others. She could only hope. Seeing that they were getting ready to leave, Aria decided to busy herself with trying to find something for the group to eat, because she wasn't certain over how long it would take the others to get back with the supplies that they were going out to get. But, could she seriously find enough for the entire group to eat by herself? She doubted it, so she scanned around, wondering if anybody else would try to help. Then again, she doubted anybody would be willing to help somebody that they considered as "privileged," so she supposed there wasn't much of a point. Moving back into the ship, she grabbed a bag and made her way back out before heading a bit farther away from the others.

She stayed within listening distance, of course, because she wasn't sure what was out there and, if she ended up getting into any trouble, she could only hope that yelling for help might actually gain somebody's attention. Or, maybe she was better off on her own, aside from her sister, because she was pretty sure anybody else in the group would just leave her to her death. Either way, she focused on trying to forage at least - she couldn't hunt without a weapon, after all, and she didn't really have time to make one, nor did she really have time to learn how to hunt just yet. Maybe later, she thought. "Please let me be lucky enough to at least find some edible berries or something," she muttered to herself as she began her search.

Once the small group had wondered off, Bellamy glanced around at everyone who were still celebrating and he could imagine the celebrating would last into the night. His dark eyes landed on the other Palmer twin, Aria, he thought that was her name. He watched as she walked away from the camp so he decided to follow her, he wasn't sure why he did but he did find himself following her. "Do you normally talk to yourself? You should have seen your father about that," He commented when he heard her speaking to herself about finding edible berries or something, it did make a lot of sense. They'd be getting hungry and thirsty, but they hadn't been exploring yet and he didn't know if anyone actually knew how to hunt. Hell there could not be any animals on Earth for all they knew, but he guessed she was at least trying to survive and find some eat for the group to eat. Which was so much more than what everyone else was doing, apart from Clarke and the four others that went with her to the mountain, he stood there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"I hadn't expected to see you on the drop ship, but it does make sense. You do know that you and your sister aren't popular here, not amongst this kids. Yet you still wanted to come down, I can understand that." He told her as he didn't like her but he could admire her bravery, she had somehow known about the 100 and got arrested just so she could be with her sister. Much like he had done to be with Octavia, although he highly doubted that she had done a crime as bad as his. He had shot Chancellor Jaha, but he did have his reasons. He had been promised to be put on the drop ship if he did, sure he never liked the Chancellor once he had floated Bellamy's mother but he had been so scared before he pulled the trigger of the gun that he had been given. His hands were shaking but all he thought about was his sister and getting back to her, he had promised her that he'd always be there for her but he couldn't keep that promise when she was locked away.
Evie had just been walking through the forest minding her own business, she was making sure she wouldn't trip over anything actually. But once she was asked a question, by a boy she didn't know. In fact she only knew Clarke, but the other three did seem to be nice enough. They did volunteer to come after all, she looked at the one who asked her which twin she was as he was in front of her as she was behind the group. She didn't mind him asking as everyone would eventually have to know which twin was which, but then the other two boys turned their attention onto her as well as they seemed to want to know her answer. She never was good when it came to having attention put on her, Aria was the one who could lead and talk to a group of people if she needed to. She had a feeling that his name was Finn, she had heard his name before as he liked to get himself into trouble but she couldn't be completely sure. "I wouldn't say that I feel awkward, I'm used to having people ask." She spoke to them for the first time.

"I'm Evie and yes, I was arrested first. I don't think I should have, but apparently standing up for someone and breaking a nose isn't the right thing to do." She told them as she wasn't worried about telling other people what she had done to get arrested, she just didn't want Aria to know although it was probably about time that her sister knew why she had been arrested. She didn't have anything to worry about now, they were together again and nothing was going to change that. She knew neither of them would let the other be taken away, although it didn't seem like there was anyone on Earth to break them apart. "Well I'm Jasper and this is Monty," Jasper pointed at himself and his friend, "That's Finn." Jasper shoved his thumb backwards at Finn, as he introduced the three of them to her.

"You broke somebody's nose?" Finn asked, unable to hide his amusement, because it definitely hadn't been what he expected her to be arrested for. She didn't really look the violent type, but, honestly, if she was like that, it would probably keep her safe from the others. Though the rest of the 100 didn't like the twins, he was certain that, if she proved to be a worthy opponent, they wouldn't bother her. Most of the 100 were actually cowards and he figured that it would have to change with them being on Earth, since there was honestly no certainty of what could lie in wait for them here. "I'm impressed, really." He wasn't much one for violence, but he could understand where she was coming from when she mentioned that it was to stand up for somebody - he supposed it was probably her sister that she was talking about, because he couldn't really see anybody else hanging out with the two. Even some of the privileged kids didn't like the twins due to the fact that some privileged kids even got their parents floated for mediocre reasons. "Like Jasper said, I'm Finn." He grinned and held out his hand for a handshake, because being nice was kind of second nature to him.

"Princess up there seems to already know you." He earned a harsh look from Clarke with that one, but he didn't entirely mind. It was just a teasing nickname, he didn't see why she didn't like it. It wasn't like being considered a princess was supposed to be a bad thing, necessarily - not from him, anyways. Maybe from Bellamy, but that was a different matter. "Note to self: If I ever get in a fight, I'll have to make sure to have Evie on my side," Monty joked lightly, trying to ease the conversation after the look Clarke had given Finn. Grinning, Monty looked back at Evie. "What'd it feel like to break somebody's nose, anyways?" Finn rolled his eyes at the question before he shook his head, both amused and exasperated. "Don't answer that, Evie. It might corrupt little Monty up there." It was fairly easy to enjoy the conversation overall, which surprised Finn. Despite that he told himself not to assume things, he had figured the twins would be difficult to get along with, since they seemed to only stick together. Of course, he didn't know about the other twin yet, but at least Evie seemed nice enough.
Admittedly, Aria was more than a little startled to hear somebody's voice and she glanced to Bellamy, arching an eyebrow. Everybody knew about Bellamy and his sister Octavia, so she didn't have a problem with remembering his name. "Well, talking to myself is a lot easier than talking to the others, don't you think?" she asked, figuring that it would probably be difficult for anybody to get the others to help when they were busy celebrating. But, really, they needed to prepare for the days ahead; for all they knew, the supplies that had been put away on Mount Weather could have been looted before the attack or something could have happened. And what if they just couldn't find the place that the supplies were supposed to be at? Then, they would be stuck hoping to find everything, rather than trying to survive - and, at least, this way, they had a slight advantage, if she could manage to find enough edible berries or anything edible at all for the entire group.

"The fact that we're not popular amongst the others is one of the reasons I came. I couldn't just let my sister get stuck down here with a bunch of people who hate her all alone. Besides, they weren't even sure if Earth wasn't survivable and, if it wasn't, I didn't want her to die alone, either." It was easy to explain, though she wasn't sure if anybody would really understand. Sure, her sister would understand - she was even certain her sister would have done the same thing had she been in Aria's place. That was just how close the two were. They didn't rely on each other, since they could handle themselves, but they did help each other when necessary - and this had definitely been necessary. "I think we should make weapons during the night, spears and such. Knives won't get us far if there are animals to hunt on Earth, because then we'd have to get up close or learn to throw them properly and that might take more time. We also have to get at least an idea of how to hunt, because I doubt anybody really knows how to. I'd say we could make the weapons now, but we really should use this time to gather whatever edible things we can find so that we don't get hungry later."

Bellamy listened to what she was saying to him, he hadn't meant to startle her though. "I suppose that it would be easier to talk to yourself, I doubt any of them will want to listen to you. It'll just be something that you have to change," He told her although he knew she'd already know that, it was the twins and Wells that would have the hardest time earning trust and respect. None of them should really be treated differently, Wells didn't ask his Dad to become Chancellor or float all the people that he has in his time. Just like the twins didn't ask to be born twins, it wasn't their fault as they couldn't help it. If twins were going to be born than it would happen, no matter what anyone did. He shouldn't really dislike them as he didn't even know them, but sadly his brain didn't seem to want to work that way. He wasn't alone in how he thought and felt which didn't make him feel any better, the group weren't the nicest bunch of people which is why they were chosen to be on the drop ship. If any of them die than it wouldn't make much difference to the people on the Ark, none of them had important jobs on the Ark apart from him but he was only a janitor. He could and would be replaced the second he was placed on the ship, he had nothing to lose coming down to the Earth because he now had his sister back in his life. He understood completely of her wanting to be with her sister, "They aren't going to understand that. None of them understand the love siblings can have," He told her as only he'd understand why she decided to get herself thrown onto the drop ship.

"Please don't tell me that you're going to be like the Princess, we can only deal with one and that's stretching it thin." He looked at her but knew she was right, it wouldn't be long before people started to become hungry and would then want food to eat. "You can't even celebrate with us for a few minutes? We're the first people to step on Earth since the bombs went off, we need to celebrate that because it feels bloody amazing to be here. To feel the sun on your skin and to breathe the fresh air, we'll start exploring soon. We'll start making weapons and learning how to hunt, if there's any animals here. I know we have to survive, but aren't we allowed to have some fun as well?" He asked as he continued to watch her search for anything edible, "We were barely allowed to have fun on the Ark. No one will listen to you if you start laying down rules or asking people to help, you're still privileged in their eyes." He leaned his side against a tree trunk, "How do you even know we can eat things here? It could all be poisonous for all we know," He mentioned as he remembered having been told about berries that were poisonous for humans, they could have grown back over the years once the toxic disappeared.
Evie knew a lot of people would be shocked to know she broke a guy's nose, she didn't like violence and had never punched someone before. She didn't even know she could punch someone that hard, "In my defense. He did deserve it, he wasn't taking no for an answer and Aria didn't deserve to have him in her face constantly." She told them as she actually felt comfortable with them, yes she didn't know them or what they had done to get arrested. But she couldn't see any of them doing anything violent, she hadn't even known what Clarke did to get arrested but figured it was something to do with her Dad getting floated by his best friend. It was heartbreaking and proved to everyone on the Ark, that if you did anything wrong than no one was going to be treated special because of who they knew or what they did on the Ark. Evie smiled as she shook Finn's hand, "Nice to meet you Finn." She looked at him and took her hand back shortly after they had shaken hands.

"We've seen each other a few days on the Ark," She smiled seeing the stern look that Clarke sent back to her, "Oh no. I don't know if I'd be good in a fight, I caught him off guard that's all." She smiled at Monty and looked at Finn as she was actually enjoying herself with them, which she hadn't been expecting. She had expected everyone to hate her and not want her around, but at least she had been wrong about this little group that she found herself in. "It was satisfying but it also had my knuckles bruised for a good week, if it corrupts him then I'll take all the credit." She said giving Monty a cheeky wink, which caused him to turn to face the front and she knew that he wasn't used to a girl giving him a wink or attention. She looked at Finn before noticing that Clarke was shushing them and had knelt down, the other's followed her quickly. Evie's eyes went wide when she saw a beautiful deer that Clarke had seen, Evie couldn't believe her eyes as the deer was so beautiful until Jasper stepped on a twig and the deer turned to look at them. A gasped escaped Evie's lips when she saw the second head that had grown a little on the side of the deer's face.

"Well, in that case, it really does sound like he deserved it," Finn agreed with a nod. Some guys could be like that, not understanding that no meant no and that they really should just grow up and leave girls who aren't interested alone. It was annoying, even to Finn, and he was even more impressed with the girl for taking a stand in order to keep a guy from bothering her sister. Most people would have just sat around and watched, either with amusement or because they were too cowardly to step in and get the matter handled. But, this girl had been brave enough to punch a guy, who very well could have attacked her if he had wanted to. Definitely worthy of praise in his opinion. Stuffing his hand in his pocket, he grinned and nodded. "Yeah, I saw you around occasionally. We didn't really ever speak, though." Not that it was her fault; for all he knew, she could have assumed that he was like the others, the ones who disliked the twins because they and their parents were both alive despite it being against the law to have more than one kid. He wasn't, of course, and he figured she might be able to tell that by now, which he was a bit glad for.

Finn couldn't help but to laugh when he saw how quickly Monty looked away when Evie sent the guy a wink; he was more than certain that the poor guy was blushing and he would have felt mildly bad for Monty, but at least Monty got a wink out of the ordeal, right? When Clarke drew their attention to the deer ahead, he honestly felt a little relieved. At least that meant that there were animals around, that it was survivable enough - and, hey, now they knew that there was meat out here to be hunted. But, then, the deer turned around, and he couldn't help but to be shocked by the sight. He could see that the others looked a little horrified and, honestly, he couldn't blame them. It hadn't been expected and it made him wonder if every animal now had two deformed heads in one - he assumed it was probably genetic for the animal by now, since there weren't any signs of any of them growing a second head just yet. He could only hope that that would remain the case, because seeing everybody with two heads would be pretty freaky. "We should go." Better to get away from the sight in hopes of forcing it from their minds, he assumed. Quickly standing, he watched as the deer raced off, probably not used to seeing humans around. Well, of course it wasn't used to humans being around, considering they were the first to be on Earth in almost a century. "That was kind of weird," Monty voiced after a long moment of silence, to which Finn looked over at him with an arched eyebrow. "Kind of?" But, it eased Finn nonetheless, because he figured Monty was trying to make the conversation light again. Shaking his head, he looked back at Evie. "Didn't frighten you too much, did it?" he teased.
"I don't need them to understand," Aria said simply, because she didn't. She didn't really care if the others understood why she had gotten herself locked away or not. All she needed was for her sister and herself to find a way to fit into the group, to make themselves useful so that they didn't become expendable and end up being first to get killed or exiled or something along the lines of that. Whether they understood her reasoning for coming down here or not would make no difference to how they saw her and her sister; they saw them as the twins who somehow managed to be lucky enough to slip through a loophole in the Ark's law. It wasn't fair to her or her sister that everybody disliked them because of something that was entirely out of their control, but she had gotten used to it - it was what they had grown up with.

Sighing to his later words, she lifted her gaze to him, a frown etching its way onto her features. "If you understand what sibling love is like, then you would understand that I will do absolutely anything to make sure that I don't lose my sister again. And, if that means that I forage alone, I don't care." All that mattered to her was that she got the foraging done, that she made sure that everybody had something to eat, because that better increased hers and Evie's chances of survival down here. "Besides, why would I celebrate with a bunch of people who hate my sister and me? And, just so you know, I'm not laying down rules. It was a suggestion, because I'm pretty sure we all need to eat to survive down here and we can't eat if we don't forage or have weapons to hunt. Besides, we have all the time in the world down here. I can have fun later, after there's enough food for everybody to eat." Turning her attention back to the task at hand, she rolled her eyes, because this whole "privileged" thing was really getting old. "If we're so privileged, then why were we expendable enough to be sent down to Earth, where they were pretty certain we would die? We're equal here, whether everybody else likes it or not. This is a new beginning away from the Ark." And, then, her eyes caught sight of berries finally and she made her way over. From what she could tell, they were blueberries - some of the farmers on the Ark had them, thankfully, so, if she was right, they shouldn't be poisonous. Plucking a berry, she stood up, twirling it in her finger as she showed it to him. "I doubt it's all poisonous. But, if you want, I can give this a try and, if I don't die in five or ten minutes, we're golden."

Bellamy couldn't help but grin, she had fire and passion in her. It was actually good to see that, he knew probably half, if not more of the 100 couldn't deal with things that they could possibly run into on Earth. They were either not strong enough physically or emotionally, he didn't really have time for those people but they all needed each other to survive. So they had to have everyone's back, the group wouldn't see that yet but in time they would. The adults really didn't pick the best kids to be sent down to Earth, but it made sense to get rid of the people who don't follow the rules. Ones that didn't mean much or ones that just didn't have anything to fight for, some only had one parent or like him, he had no parents but at least he had his sister. "You'll be a survivor yet," He told her as he could tell how strong she was going to be, but he'd have to keep a close eye on her. She seemed to like to speak her mind, which she had every right to do so. But if he was going to try and make the group follow what he says, he'll have to make sure she doesn't try to overpower him with her voice. Even if she wasn't liked, there were smart people among them in the group and all it took was for a few to listen to her or Clarke or anyone else and the rest would follow. "I'm pretty sure that's a blueberry, but if you want to test it than go ahead. I won't be stopping you," He told her as he was pretty sure that berry was harmless, he wondered if the food they'd find on Earth would taste different to what was grown on the Ark.

He stepped closer to her and pulled his jacket off, laying it on the ground he begun to pick the berries carefully. He didn't want to waste any as this was the only food they'd get until at least tomorrow, they needed weapons and that could take some time depending on what they found to use and if they could even sharpen anything. They really hadn't been given much for when they landed, if they landed and survived at all. Jaha could at least put some more faith into them surviving the fall, even giving them pre-made weapons would have helped them incredibly but apparently not much faith was put into them. He glanced around at the bushes around the blueberry one, "There's another blueberry bush over there," He pointed out as there could be just enough berries to go around, it wouldn't fill anyone's stomach but at least it would be something to eat.
Evie did remember seeing Finn around the Ark a few times, she didn't really know why she didn't talk to him. No, she did know actually. When she was younger, she had tried so many times to make friends with other children her age. Children from different sections of the Ark, each time she was told to get away as she wasn't welcome or wanted and that she should just stay away. Eventually she ran to home crying because of how mean the other children were to her, since then she never really bothered trying to make friends as she had Aria and that was more than enough for her. "No, I'm fine." She told Finn when he teased her about being scared of the deer, but she was freaked out by what they saw. If other animals were like that, could they even still eat the meat? She hoped they could because if they couldn't, no one would be surviving for long without any food to eat. "I really hope nothing like that happens to us, I'm a twin. I've had a second head since I was born," She said lightly like Monty had, she wanted to keep their conversation light and fun. They could talk about the deer later if any of them really wanted to, but she had a feeling they all wanted to forget what they just saw.

"Let's keep going, we need to get to Mount Weather as soon as possible." Clarke told them as she continued to lead the way through the forest, Evie followed but this time she was closer to the front with Jasper and Monty bringing up the rear. She reached her hand up and tucked some of her hair behind her ear, she wondered what Aria was getting up to and she really hoped that no one was messing with her when she wasn't there to be by her sister's side.

Finn couldn't help but to laugh at Evie's joke and event Monty and Jasper had joined along. With them making the entire situation lighter than before, it made it easier to put the deer to the back of their minds. "We're coming, Clarke," Finn hummed out as he picked up his pace a bit to stick close to the others. It was going to be a long walk, it seemed, especially with Clarke being a bit bossy. It wasn't that he minded the bossiness, of course, but couldn't they at least enjoy their surroundings? They had only just gotten to Earth, after all; it was only fair that they enjoy the sight that they were greeted with, considering he was certain they had all at least dreamt about what Earth may or may not have looked like at least once in their lives before they had gotten sent down here. He knew he had. The sudden realization also sparked for inspiration in a conversational topic, so he asked, "Is Earth anything like any of you dreamed it would be?"

Monty lifted his shoulders in a shrug in the back. "Well, it's definitely greener than I thought it would be." Which wasn't too surprising, because there really was a lot of green. But, then, that could be because they had gotten dropped near a mountain. Finn couldn't help but wonder what the rest of Earth was like, honestly. "I wonder if the oceans are really blue or if they just look that way from the Ark," Finn offered in response, because he actually was a little curious about it. "Think we'll ever see the ocean?" He wasn't really expecting an answer, honestly, because he figured the others would think it was impossible. And, maybe, it was, but who knew? "Better question," Monty chimed with a grin, "Anybody think we'll ever learn how to swim?" Finn could understand the question, since they were now on the topic of the ocean - and, whenever he thought about the ocean, he thought about swimming. The problem was that there had been no way to even try to learn how to swim on the Ark and he wondered if it was even worth the risk. If they tried to swim and somebody was drowning while nobody else knew how to swim, who knew how many of them would die? Still, he could be hopeful. "Maybe we'll find out some day."
Aria grinned in response to his words, because, yeah, okay, it felt a little good to have somebody say something like You'll be a survivor yet, because, clearly, the Ark hadn't really expected many, if any at all, to survive. "Yeah, well, I have to survive, for my sister's sake," she chimed, knowing that she and her sister were all each other really had down here. They weren't just sisters, they were best friends, and she was going to do all that she could to make sure that neither of them lost each other. Popping the blueberry in her mouth, she chewed on it, easily recognizing the taste. It tasted a bit fresher, compared to the blueberries on the Ark, but it didn't taste anything near poisonous, which she was glad for. She wasn't a big fan of blueberries, honestly, but it was better than nothing. "Definitely a blueberry."

With a nod, she shifted the bag she carried around to her front and moved to the other bush as she began to pluck off the berries there and put them in the bag. Since there were 100 of them, she hoped that there would be enough blueberries to go around - and, more so, she hoped nobody would complain. It wasn't like any of the others were out here foraging, so they really had no right to complain when it seemed that she and Bellamy were doing all the work; not that it was really hard, anyways. "This would have been even better if we had found cherries or strawberries instead. Maybe even some fruits that hang in the trees, like apples, would have been good." They would probably taste better than blueberries. And, if they managed to find a variety of different things to eat, then there'd probably be less complaints, at least until they managed to hunt, but it didn't look like anything other than blueberries were around here. Well, other than some berries that looked more than a little suspicious and, since she didn't recognize them, she didn't want to take the chance on picking them for everybody and for them to all die because of her.

Ever since Octavia had been caught by the guards and their Mom had been floated, Bellamy always showed off his hard exterior and made sure everyone knew that he wasn't to be messed with. He had tried to keep that act up around the Palmer twin, but once he had started picking the blueberries and placing them in his jacket so it'd be easier to carry. He noticed that his wall was very slowly beginning to crack, he wasn't sure why Aria was having an effect on him. He didn't even know her and this was the first time that they had even spoken, but she was different. She was smart enough to forage for berries and she wanted to start making weapons, she was strong willed in how she got herself arrested so she could be with her sister, she was her own person and he could only imagine that she wouldn't follow others and would speak her own mind. He actually liked that in a person and admired that a girl had those traits, "We'll come out again tomorrow. With more people so we can collect more food, hopefully we'll find different fruit." He told her as the group was going to have to start working for the food they were given, "We'll have to find water as well. There has to be a river or something around," He mentioned as people would become thirsty, they'd have to find a tarp so they could hold water for drinking.

He'd be hard on anyone who decided they had a right to complain when they hadn't lifted a finger to help, he didn't tolerate laziness or people who didn't think they needed to help. He had always been that way, coming from a working class section on the Ark only made him believe in it. He didn't understand why people thought they didn't need to do anything, it was different for him to see someone like the Palmer twins actually doing something for the group. But both the twins were helping out so quickly after landing, he knew they were trying to make their mark in the group which would still take some time. But they had already made a start on it, "The world is way more than what I had been expecting. What about you?" He asked as he was making a good pile of berries in his jacket, it was easier and quicker with him helping her.
Evie smiled as she continued walking but thought about Finn's question, "I don't know if I'd like to get in any water if none of the 100 knew how to swim." She told them as she wouldn't want everyone to get excited about finding enough water to swim in, but have no one know how to swim or how to even save people if they started drowning. That was one way that Evie didn't want to die in, drowning scared her greatly because she didn't want to think about not being able to breathe. "There's a lot more trees than I expected, but I guess there was plenty of time for the forest to regrow. The sun is so warm and bright, the sky is bluer too." She smiled as she gave Finn her answer, she pressed her palm against a tree trunk and sighed softly. "How much further, Clarke?" She asked having lost track of time as they had been walking, Evie wasn't the best when it came to directions if there were only trees and bushes around. "We aren't even half way yet," Clarke answered back in a short tone, if she could have carried the supplies back than she would have gone on her own.

Evie sighed louder as she rested the back of her hand against her forehead, "I don't think I can go on. Leave me here, go on without me." She said dramatically though she couldn't keep a straight face and smiled as she was speaking, "Never. We're a team, we'll carry you if we need to." Jasper took large slow steps as his hands went to his hips as he became the hero, Evie laughed as she couldn't hold it back. "My hero!" She laughed softly as she threw her arms around his neck, she'd have to introduce Aria to Jasper and Monty because she really liked them and she knew her sister would too. "I could be your hero too, you know." Monty chimed in quickly which earned him another smile from Evie, "I guess Finn is the odd one out. Doesn't want to save me," She teased as she could really be herself around them, even Clarke seemed to smile as she listened to the nonsense that was going on behind her.

Finn arched an eyebrow as he glanced over at Evie, unable to help but to smile. She had a good point, it wouldn't be very smart for them to get into water when they didn't know how to swim. But, what if swimming became a necessity, in case they had to cross rivers or watery areas to get to something important? They'd have to learn at some point, wouldn't they? "Well, we could always learn by finding shallow areas to practice swimming in first. You know, places where we can stand, but still manage to try to learn. That way, if we started sinking, we could just stand up straight and we'd still survive," he offered, though he was surprised by her answer to his question. He hadn't even thought about looking at the sky, because he had been so focused on the area around them, the green, the trees, the plants that grew. "It's really cool that we get to actually feel the sun now, instead of having to look at it through a window on the Ark." On the Ark, they couldn't feel the warmth, couldn't really even enjoy the light the sun offered because they weren't close to it. They could only glance it, perhaps marvel at it once or twice, but never for long periods. Now, they could fully enjoy the sun and the warmth that it gave them and the things that it helped grow.

He, however, laughed at the dramatic behavior the others presented. "Oh, I don't think I could steal their spotlight just yet. They need to be praised for a bit, don't you think?" He grinned, clearly joking, but it was true. He was certain that Jasper and Monty were enjoying the attention they were receiving, because he hadn't really seen them get much attention on the Ark anyways. It had always been those two together and nobody really hung out with them that much. "Besides, I would save you. But, why do that when I could just collapse next to you and enjoy the sun on my face?" Again, he was joking, but the idea wasn't so bad. It didn't seem like anything was really all that dangerous out here yet, so it might have even been nice to just relax for a bit. That probably wasn't a possibility, though, considering they needed to get the supplies from the bunker. "Next time, though, I promise I'll save you before those two have a chance to."
"Clarke has the map. There's probably a river on it, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one once they get back," Aria told him. At least, she hoped there would be a river on the map. For all they knew, though, the rivers could have all dried up. Of course, she hoped that wasn't the case, but it was a possibility - one that meant they should really be prepared for whatever possibility came to be reality. Honestly, they had to be prepared for everything that may or may not come their way, anyways, if they wanted to survive. "We may have to purify any water that we come across, though. I think you can do that by boiling the water, but I'm not entirely sure, there could be more ways than that. If we're lucky, it could rain and we could collect it, but that water supply would only last for a while and then we'd have to wait for more rain." But, then, what if it didn't rain much here? It had to rain at least a little, for all of these trees and plants to grow - or, for all they knew, there was a water supply close by, but they weren't prepared to travel far from the crash site just yet when they didn't know if there was anything dangerous out there that they had to worry about.

His question, though, caught her by surprise. She wasn't entirely sure what she had been expecting on Earth. At one point, sure, she had dreamt about it all the time, but those dreams faded when her sister got arrested and she became more worried about her sister than she had about what Earth might be like. "I guess, I may be a little disappointed?" It was more of a question to herself than a statement to him, because she wasn't entirely sure how to answer. "I mean, it would be nice to see a few animals. Maybe birds, because I doubt we would really waste time killing birds and admiring other animals would be pointless when we'd have to hunt them eventually. I guess the trees are taller than I expected them to be, maybe? And, they're so much of a brighter green than I thought possible, but it's nice." Shrugging, she picked the last of the blueberries on the bush she was working on. "What had you been expecting? You said that it's more than what you had been expecting, after all, so I'm curious."

Bellamy stepped over to the second bush when the first one was almost picked clean, he made a start on that bush while listening to Aria. He nodded his head, "I heard something about bowling water, we'd have to find wood soon so we can make a fire. We'll also have to find something to boil the water in, I guess that can wait until tomorrow though." He mentioned as they couldn't do everything in one day, they needed food and to find water, they needed to make shelter and make weapons. Even with the whole 100, well it was 97 of them now after two died during the landing. They couldn't do all of that in one day, shelter would take the longest but he didn't want to let anymore people out in case there was anything dangerous close by. He just hoped that Aria's sister returned safely because he didn't want a heartbroken twin on his hands, he knew how he'd be if he lost his sister but he knew the twins were closer to each other. It would be like having a part of them dye, he didn't need that nor did he want that to happen.

He did understand where she was coming from, it was just so amazing to be down on Earth that they didn't seem to care what it looked like. "Honestly, I didn't expect there to be anything. The bombs would have wiped everything out, the toxic fumes would have gotten into the air and should have done something to the rain, which would bring the poison back down into the ground. I don't know how long that would have lasted, I guess I expected there to be less trees and greenness." He told her honestly as there was no reason for him to tell her anything different, he was glad that he was wrong however. He didn't want his dreams to come true because that would make their survival even less possible, he took a blueberry from the bush and instead of placing it in his jacket he ate it. Blueberries didn't usually have heaps of taste, but this one was still sweeter and fresher than what he had tasted on the Ark. "Do you think you'll ever regret coming down? I mean you would have come down once they worked out that Earth was fine, you can have seen your sister then." He asked even if he already knew what her answer would be, he wouldn't have waited for a second longer to be with his sister again.
Evie nodded when Finn suggested how they learn to swim, it did make sense as something could happen or they could need to get across a large amount of water for whatever reason. She'd be interested in learning to swim, but only if there were people watching just in case anything did happen. "I always used to look at the sun with my Mom, I'd ask her so many questions about it and she tried to answer them the best she could. We really were stubborn as kids," She smiled at the memory and hoped how she could lay in the sun with her Mom instead of just looking at it through a window, to feel the warmth from the sun that seemed to reach deep into her bones. She smiled at Jasper and Monty as she didn't get why people wouldn't want to spend time with them, they were nice and sweet and open minded. "I think that's a good idea, I'll give them more of my attention." She looked at Finn knowing the best friends probably weren't used to a girl paying attention to them.

"I would love to lay in the grass and enjoy the sun, but I still think you should at least try to save me." She smiled as she moved from her position between Jasper and Monty, when she had made it there she couldn't remember. She passed Finn with a cheeky grin on her face, "You better save me," She looked at him before also passing Clarke as they came to some rocks in the ground, she walked over them first and stepped down when she found a lake. "Guys!" She called out as she knelt down at the water's edge, she used her hands to scoop some water up so she could drink it. She sighed contently as the cool water felt some nice in her throat, "This is amazing" She glanced over her shoulder as they stood up on the rocks, she had no idea what she had attracted in the water.

Yeah, Finn could see that, that she was stubborn. Though she said that they had been stubborn as kids, he was pretty sure that it probably reached into how she was now, too - and, he couldn't really blame her. Sometimes, stubbornness could keep you alive, if you relied on it enough. "Sounds like you were curious, too," he mentioned casually, though it was nice to see. Some people didn't bother asking questions because they were afraid of asking the wrong questions, of getting into trouble. People who let their curiosity take over were usually smarter as well, and he could see that in her, too. Grinning to her words, he shook his head. "Try not to give them too much attention. They might have heart attacks. Or, you know, I might get jealous." He wasn't entirely sure if he was joking with the last bit, but he didn't think too far into it. Maybe he would think more about it later, when they weren't concentrating on trying to find the supplies that they would need to survive.

"Don't worry, I'll save you." He laughed, watching as she walked past them. Clarke had seemed a bit surprised that Evie had passed even her, but she didn't really mind. Once they got to where she was when she called out, though, Clarke looked a bit worried. "Are you sure that's a good idea? It could be polluted or something," the girl quickly said, causing Finn to grin with amusement. "Lighten up. We just walked through what you called a nuclear soaked forest. I doubt the water's going to kill us." But, then, he saw movement in the water and frowned as he stepped closer, eyes narrowed. Before he could speak, though, Jasper called out, "What's that?" It looked like a serpent, in Finn's opinion, but it could just be because of the way the water was rippling. Still, the sight of it made him panic a bit - and, then, he noticed it was heading straight towards Evie. "Evie, get back over here!" Clarke called, but Finn was already on the move to pull Evie away from the water before the giant serpent-like creature could get to the edge to where she was.
"Well, there's wood all around us," Aria chimed with a grin. At least, the part about finding wood would be pretty easy. They'd just have to be careful with it, though. "We can probably find something on the ship to boil the water in, if we look hard enough or try to improvise using a few different things." She lifted her shoulders in a shrug, figuring that it might be easier that way. She hoped it would be, anyways. As long as they could all manage to work together, though, everything might actually fall into place and they could have a community there, one better than the one on the Ark. They just had to find a way to keep peace between everybody and avoid people killing each other - and, more importantly for her, to avoid her sister or herself getting killed.

Hearing him explain what his expectations had been caused her to glance over at him with curiosity and surprise. "Wow. You're a bit of a pessimist." She was joking, of course. It was easy to see how he could assume the worst about Earth, considering that they had even thought it wouldn't be survivable for another hundred years. But, here they were, picking blueberries and talking about trees and greenness and she was so glad that the Earth hadn't become a total wasteland. Turning her attention back to picking the blueberries, she thought over how to answer his question. "No, I don't think I'll ever regret my decision. Evie isn't just my sister, she's my best friend, my only friend. I'd rather be here with her, even around a bunch of people who probably want us both dead than be on the Ark alone with her down here alone, where we'd both still be surrounded by people who hate us. At least, here, we have each other." She let a smile form on her features and she glanced over at him. "Besides, there was the chance that it wasn't survivable. And, if that had been the case, I would have never gotten to see my sister again. So, no, I will never regret my decision."

Bellamy glanced over at Aria and just gave her a blank look, "Hey. I can be positive when I want to be," He turned his head away when a small smile formed on his face, he usually didn't talk to people this much and he hardly ever smiled at people. Once Octavia had been taken from him, he pushed everyone away. Not that he had heaps of friends or people that he was friendly with, he was crushed when she had been locked away from him so he wasn't the greatest company for anyone to have. So he hid the real Bellamy away and he is still hiding, "True but we should stock up on wood. If we find large pieces, we can use it to build better shelter than what we have right now." He told her knowing that she would be the only one who would listen to him right now, yelling and cheering could still be heard coming from the camp. He didn't know why everyone was still celebrating, sure being on Earth was great and they should celebrate but Bellamy had gotten over those emotions. But now they didn't have rules or adults ruling their lives, that is probably more of what they were celebrating which he would gladly join in with but he would later if he still felt like being in a happy mood.

"I knew you'd say that, I guess it was a stupid question to ask. I would say the exact same thing about Octavia, I would have changed a lot about what we've been through. But I wouldn't change getting arrested and coming down here with her, who else was going to protect her and keep her safe? No one but me," He always had the responsibility of his sister in his hands, ever since she was born he was always taking care of her which he didn't mind of course. But his Mother never realised how much pressure that put on him, especially when Octavia was a baby and he was still a young child himself. But that only made him into the young man he was now, someone who would do anything for the people he cared about the most. "Perhaps you could make more friends now, after some time it could happen. Aren't you friends with Princess and Wells?" He asked as he continued to pick the blueberries, both bushes were nearly bare of berries but they did have a good amount. They'd have to watch the amount people took as they couldn't take more than a small handful because everyone needed to eat something.
Evie was surprised that neither Jasper nor Monty hadn't had a heart attack yet, not that she was beautiful or anything but she was still a girl who was giving them attention. She had noticed they both got a little quiet and looked nervous when she had been close to them, "I was always curious. My Dad used to push me out of the lab when I started asking too many questions, usually when he was busy trying to do something." She smiled as she had always felt comfortable and like she belonged in the lab with her Dad, she was often found sitting in the corner of the medical wing so she could watch everything happening. Something that not everyone liked but her Dad had started teaching her everything he knew at an early age, she was interested and was hanging around so he had to teach her. She could feel her cheeks become warm when Finn mentioned he'd get jealous, she prayed that she wasn't blushing in front of him even though she shouldn't. He was only joking after all.

She rolled her eyes, "It's fine. Come on Clarke, it tastes great and I'm not dying." She told the blonde but she knew Clarke was only looking out for her and the whole group, but she really did need to loosen up once and a while. She didn't pay attention to why no one was coming down to join her, she went to take another drink of water before Clarke stopped her. "Why? We have time to get to Mount Weather," She told her and frowned when she saw the panic on Clarke's face, Monty and Jasper had the same expression but she didn't understand why. It was just a lake and the water was completely fine, she felt completely fine so she wasn't poisoned or anything. Turning back to face the water, she didn't have a chance to do anything because she felt two hands wrap around her arms before she was pulled backwards sharply. A small scream escaped her lips when a giant serpent creature broke through the water before diving back under the clear water, she was seconds away from getting bitten and dragged under the water. She looked back to see that it had been Finn who had pulled her out of harms way, "Thank you," She whispered to him as she couldn't say anything else, she was so thankfully that he had been there.

"I told you I'd save you, didn't I?" Finn reminded, though he was only trying to make the situation light. After all, Evie had only been just seconds away from getting possibly killed. "Let's not tell your sister that you almost got attacked by some serpent creature." Because he was pretty sure her sister would freak out or just stop Evie from going on these little trips ever again. Looking at her, he took her in for a few moments, eyeing her carefully for any injuries, just in case. "Are you okay?" Okay, maybe he was a little worried - but who wouldn't be when they witnessed somebody come that close to death? And, by the looks of it, it wouldn't have been a very pleasant death either (not that any death were pleasant, but who knew what that serpent could have done.) She looked like she was okay, at least, and that made him feel a little relieved. Turning his attention back to the water, he frowned slightly, watching as the serpent swam away, though it didn't look like it was going far, as if it were waiting for somebody to get near the water again. Clarke and the others were quick to come to their sides and they stared at the serpent as well, mouths agape and eyes a little wide.

Jasper was the first to speak. "How are we supposed to get across to continue the trek to the supplies?" he asked and, honestly, it was a good question. The river looked like it would be impossible to cross and Finn wasn't even sure if there was a way around it. There probably was, but it could be miles from where they were and he doubted any of them were willing to take the risk, just in case. "I don't know," Finn finally said before sighing, almost in defeat. "It looks like there's no point in going any further." The news didn't bode well for Clarke - in fact, she looked so disappointed that he couldn't help but to feel a little bad. "But we need those supplies to survive," she said quickly. "If we go after the supplies from here, we won't survive," Finn reasoned before gesturing to Evie, "Evie almost got killed just now. I say it's better that we just head back before we run into something that really will kill all of us." It had been enough of a freaky day for him - first the two headed deer and then the serpent almost killing Evie. He shuddered to think what would have happened if he hadn't gotten to her in time, but he was glad that he had managed to get her away from the water before the serpent got to her.
"Sure, sure, keep telling yourself that," Aria hummed out as she picked the berries. There were more of them than she expected there to be, which was honestly a good thing, considering that there were so many of them to feed. Still, it wasn't going to keep everybody satisfied, but what could be done about that? "We'll have to look for wood later, when we have more people to help. I'm almost certain that we can't carry a lot of wood back to the crash site by ourselves. Or, at least, I know I can't." She may be strong-willed, but she wasn't necessarily strong. That would probably have to change while they were there, but there was no way for it to change immediately. They had all the time in the world for it to change eventually, though, and she wasn't in a rush for it, since they still had so much more to handle. She nodded in understanding to his explanation of keeping his sister safe; she could understand that, really. "I'm not saying that my sister can't handle herself, she can. But I didn't want her to be alone, you know?" Shrugging, she let out a sigh, hoping that it made sense. "I don't know. Maybe I came down here more so for myself than for her, because I didn't want to be alone."

She nearly cringed when he asked if she was friends with Clarke and Wells. It was nothing against Clarke or Wells, it really wasn't, but she just hadn't bothered to try. "No, not really. I mean, they're okay and everything, but Evie and I tried to make friends for years and, after constantly receiving hateful glares and whispers of how horrible we were, I kind of gave up on trying to make friends. I think she did, too, and that's why we're a lot closer." It wasn't the easiest thing to talk about and she didn't want to sound like she was complaining about her life, especially to somebody who probably disliked her and her sister just as much as everybody else (which she could understand from his view, considering he had a sister who got arrested just for being born and his mom got floated for having a second child.) Clearing her throat, she shook the thoughts from her head and stood up once she got all the berries that she could. "I'm not particularly optimistic about making friends here. To them, nothing has changed. We're still the twins and they're not going to see us differently any time soon. I'm not worried about it, though."
