Bellamy nodded his head in agreement, "I'll make sure we get some help tomorrow with the wood and finding more food." He assured her as he wouldn't be taking no for an answer, they had to survive this and to do that they needed to make the crash sight their home. It seemed to be the safest place for them to set up a camp, the had the drop ship which they could use for protection and coverage if they needed to. It just made sense, really. "I'm sure your sister can look after herself, but with you both here than you can take care of each other. I do know, you've already been alone when she was arrested." He told her as he knew what being alone felt like, it was horrible and so lonely. She even had her parents but she still didn't have the person that she was born with, the person who was so much like her but still different at the same time. "I don't think it was a selfish reason that you came down, if you didn't than you'd both continue to be alone without knowing when the next time you'd see her would be. That would be able to drive anyone insane," He knew where she was coming from completely, now that she had mentioned it. He realised that he to didn't want to be alone if Octavia had come down to Earth on her own without him, he would be on the Ark with no one and that wasn't a life he wanted to live.

Once he had picked the last blueberry he carefully gathered his jacket up from the ground and stood up, maybe the twins weren't liked by anyone. Or at least a select few could have liked them, even the other privileged people could have felt or thought the same way about the twins that the working class people did. He had never thought about that before, it only made him feel worse about how he had thought about the twins. "Mentioning that you could make friends was a long shot, but I was trying to be optimist." He grinned at her, "Don't take any notice about what they say or do. You two will outlast the majority of people here," He assured her as it was obvious the twins would, they were taking this whole situation serious and that would simply keep them alive. "So which one is older?" He asked as he didn't actually know who was the older twin, all he knew was that it was Evie who was arrested first.
Evie was in shock but she wasn't hurt, "I was lucky that you were there. Aria doesn't need to know about this," She agreed with him and she knew she would have been taken into the water, if he hadn't gotten to her in time. If he had been a second later than she wouldn't be there anymore, it would have been that easy for Aria to lose her and it was only the first day on Earth. She didn't even know snakes could grow that large, unless it was an effect from the bombs like the deer they had seen earlier. "I'm fine, a little scared though. I'm never going near water again," She looked at him and next time she was near water, she'll be checking it to make sure there was nothing in the water waiting for her. She watched Monty offer her his hands which she gratefully took as he helped her stand, her heart was still racing and she tried to stop her hands from shaking slightly but it was only from her close encounter. She turned and held her hand out Finn to take, she helped him onto his feet even though he could get up himself. It was a nice gesture she thought, especially after he saved her.

"Clarke, Finn is right. Besides those supplies aren't going anywhere, even if we did get across it'll be getting dark soon. I'm not walking through a strange forest at night, with no light or lamps. Let's just camp out here and we'll try again tomorrow," She tried to reason with the blonde who eventually gave in and agreed after she thought about it, Evie did want to be back at the crash site with Aria but it didn't seem like that would be happening. She just hoped that her sister would know she was fine and wouldn't worry over her not returning, "I think I need to sit down." She spoke softly as she didn't feel like that well, shock was setting in and all she wanted was her sister but that wouldn't be happening. She felt Monty take her arm while his other hand rested on her back as he helped her away from the water, she sat down on an overgrow root that was sticking out of the ground. She just needed to calm herself down and she'd be fine.

Finn nodded in understanding as he watched her. "Well, on the bright side, you're alive," he offered in hopes of easing her fright a bit. He could understand why she was so frightened, though, since she had literally been seconds away from death. Honestly, he was glad he had managed to save her, partly because she was a nice person and mostly because she wouldn't have deserved to die so soon. Taking her hand when she held it out to help him up, he moved to stand before brushing himself off, watching her for a moment. He was waiting for the shock to settle in, because he knew it would - it had been too close of a call for her to not be shocked by it, unless she was stronger emotionally and mentally than anybody that he had ever met before, so much so that it would have been considered almost superhuman. "Just try to relax for now. Otherwise, you might panic." Which wouldn't be good if she was already starting to go into shock. Her shock wasn't hitting her just yet, though, which he supposed was a good thing since Monty was helping her a bit.

"I don't really think we'll be getting across any time soon, anyways." It almost felt like the trip had been a failure, but at least they had all gotten along during the trek. And he had gotten to know a bit about Evie, which was nice, considering that he was certain that not many people would even try to get along with either of the twins - and, even if it were only himself, Jasper and Monty, out of the working class families, that accepted and spoke with Evie, at least she might feel a little more at ease. It was then that he noticed that her shock was starting to set in and he was quick to move to join her side, sitting down beside her. "Hey, how about we play a game to distract you a bit? Maybe rock-paper-scissors?" He could admit that it was probably a terrible suggestion of a game to play. It wasn't like there was anything else that they could play, though, and he wanted to help calm her down as much as possible, before she managed to make herself sick (since some people that he had seen that went into shock ended up vomiting some time during it.)
Aria was a bit glad that he mentioned that he'd make sure they got help tomorrow, because she was certain that, if she tried to get the others to help, they would just tell her to do it herself. And, he was right. Her sister could look after herself, that was why her sister had volunteered to help the others go find the supplies. That didn't mean that Aria wasn't going to be there for her sister as much as she could, though. "It's a weird kind of emptiness, having a sibling arrested when you're so used to being around them all the time," she eventually said, figuring that he would be the only person aside from her sister and his sister that could understand that feeling of loneliness. Her parents hadn't even been around much; her father had been busy with medical-related things and her mother was trying to find something to occupy her time. Before her mother had given birth to her and her sister, she had been on the council, but they voted her off after she gave birth to the two of them. It was basically the only kind of punishment that they could give the woman, since she couldn't exactly control having two babies. Most people didn't know about that, though.

Closing the bag she had put the blueberries in, she moved to stand up straight, shifting the bag to her shoulder. With an arched eyebrow, she looked at Bellamy with mild amusement. "Oh, so you really can be optimistic? Strange, I would think you would save that optimism for yourself, not for my sister and me." She lifted her shoulders in a shrug and began to make her way back to the landing site, figuring that he would follow along. "I don't pay much attention to anybody anymore, so I'm not really worried about what they may or may not do or say. As long as they don't try to hurt my sister, it will be easy to handle." Because, it would be. She was used to how they stared at and talked about her sister and herself, so it didn't bother her. If they tried to hurt her sister, though, that was where she would draw the line. "I'm older. Only by about ten minutes, though."

Bellamy did get what she was talking about, at times his heart would ache with not having Octavia with him which is what he was used to. Yes she was stuck hiding in the floor for most of her life, but she was still there and he could still see her whenever they were alone. Some days his whole body was sore and he couldn't concentrate on anything, he wasn't even allowed to visit his sister because he had hidden her from everyone. His mother had been busy working and keeping a certain guard happy, so she'd know when the dorms were going to be checked. It was a horrible way to grow up but it could have been worse, he could have had no parents and no sister. He could have been all alone and raise himself, he knew a few people in the group had lost both parents. Finn being one of them, he wasn't sure what happened to his parents but he didn't feel like asking. He wasn't any of his business after all, just like it wasn't his business to push the subject with Aria. If she wanted to eventually tell him more about her family, than she could but he wasn't going to ask in case it was a sensitive topic. She hardly knew him so it would be weird for him to ask anymore about it. "Yeah, I can be. But now that you're throwing it back in my face, I'll never be optimistic again." He grinned as he held his jacket in his hand and followed Aria as she headed towards to crash site.

"That's all you can do, but if they don't stop and it gets too much. Don't keep it to yourself," He told her as he didn't want to tell her that she could come to him, he didn't want it to seem like he didn't think that she could handle herself. He knew that she could, but he also knew that if people constantly had a go at her and it did get too much than he did want her to come to him. He wouldn't mind making sure the group knew to leave the twins alone, they never asked for any of this and it wasn't their fault. "Ten minutes, huh? Do you let her know that?" He asked as a grin formed on his face, he always made sure that Octavia knew that he was the older sibling and that she needed to listen to what he said. Although they did have a few years between them, so it was easier for him to use the big brother card on his sister.
Evie sat there taking deep slow breathes, she didn't want to go any further into shock. She had seen how easy it was to go down hill and she didn't want that to happen with her, Aria wasn't anywhere close by so she'd have to keep herself calm on her own. That is what she thought, until she realised that Finn sat down beside her. Jasper and Monty and even Clarke had moved around her in support, she was grateful that she was there with them and not anyone who didn't like her and didn't care about her. "Yeah, let's play." She knew he was trying to take her mind off of what happened, she'd do anything to stop thinking about it and she wanted her mind to stop replaying it. She made her hand into a fist and placed it near Finn's, they counted to three before she made her hand into a flat piece of paper. A small smile appeared on her face as Finn had gone for scissors, she felt his fingers 'cut' her paper. "Let us have a go," It was Clarke who put her fist out towards Evie next, she hadn't expected her to offer to play the game that quickly. "Thanks," Evie whispered as she decided to keep her fist and pick rock, although Clarke had gone for paper.

Evie was fine with losing and wasn't a sore loser, "What is it? Make Evie lose day," She said lightly as she moved onto Jasper, she went with rock again and beat Jasper's scissors even though he hadn't tried to let her win either. She hated when people let her win anything, a few guys had done that on the Ark and if she had been interested in them or was developing a crush on them, that instantly vanished. If she couldn't win on her own than she was completely fine with that. Her smiled widened slightly as she moved onto Monty, once again she lost with her scissors to his rock. It was a silly little game but it was beginning to work on having her focus on something, other than the monster that lived in the lake they had found. The lake they needed to cross to continue on their journey to the bunker, which she felt a little bad about because she had basically stopped them from continuing. Turning she went again with Finn but this time she decided on paper, she smiled as she put her hand over his rock. "I'm starting to feel better now," She informed the group as they deserved to know how she was feeling, her heart was still a little faster than normal but it had still slowed down a lot.

Finn grinned, rather enjoying their silly little game. It was especially amusing to see Jasper lose to Evie - and, even when Evie lost, she didn't get upset like most people would have. At least it seemed to be working, it seemed to be helping to calm her down, which was a good sign. When she put her hand over his rock and confirmed that she was starting to feel better, he felt more than relieved and nodded. "Good," he told her with a grin, glad to see that his idea had worked. "I'd say that we could continue playing, but we really should set up camp for the night, since it doesn't seem like we'd be able to make it back to camp before nightfall." Evie had pointed out earlier and, now that he thought about it, she was right. The sun looked like it was about to start setting and, though he knew it might not be safe out there at night, it would be a lot safer to stay in one spot than it would be to try to make it back to the ship. Not only was there the possibility of getting lost, but they might run into something dangerous - hell, they had already run into some giant serpent, so there was really no telling what other dangers his in the forest. Looking to the others, they seemed to agree with him, which would make things a lot easier.

"I don't think we should make a fire," Clarke said after a long moment, "If there are other things out here that are dangerous, a fire would attract them. And it's not cold to the point that we really need one, anyways, so it would be a waste." Finn could agree with that, especially since he wasn't sure if any of them even knew how to make a fire. "We'll just have to find a nice spot to set up a camp for the five of us, then," he said before looking to Evie, "Can you walk? Or would you rather I give you a piggy-back ride?" He didn't want her to exert herself, especially after she had just gone into shock just a few minutes prior. It could send her spiraling back into shock and then things might get bad. He wasn't entirely sure what could happen to people who went into shock, since he wasn't really medically inclined, but he was pretty sure it couldn't be good if it lasted for too long. "It shouldn't take too long to find a good place to camp, at least. If we're lucky, we may even find some sort of shelter." He was doubtful about that, though, but he didn't want to dishearten anybody, so he didn't mention it aloud.
Aria grinned back at him, unable to help it. It honestly surprised her that it was actually kind of easy to talk to Bellamy. She hadn't really ever opened up to anybody except for her sister and her parents before and, even if she hadn't necessarily opened up a lot, she still somehow managed to open up a bit to him. It didn't make much sense to her, but she tried not to think too much into it because there was no need to make a big deal out of it. "Aw, come on. That optimism suits you," she teased lightly before turning her attention ahead. Already, she could hear the celebratory noises of the others growing louder and she couldn't help but to worry a little, though she didn't show it. Sure, Bellamy was easy to talk to, but he wasn't her sister and, now, she was pretty much alone in having to deal with the others. It wasn't something that usually bothered her, but the more she thought about it, the more she dreaded what was to come - probably because she had opened up a bit and it made her feel somewhat vulnerable, as if opening up to him would give off chances for the others to make rude comments and jabs at her.

Still, she held her head high as she listened to him, trying to force her worries to ebb away, if only a little. She could handle this, she told herself; it could be worse, after all. It could have been more than just the others that she was surrounded by. She could have been surrounded by everybody from the Ark. And, at least she knew that not everybody was terrible - Bellamy seemed to be pretty okay so far. But, then, that might change when they got around others - some people were like that, nice to her or her sister when there wasn't anybody else around, but as soon as there were others nearby, they acted just like the others did. Glancing over at him, she arched an eyebrow. "Aw, are you worried about me, Bellamy?" She smirked, clearly teasing him again, if only to ease her own worries. "Don't worry, I can handle myself." Or, she hoped she could. Before, she had been so certain of it, but, now, that certainty was ebbing away, little by little, the closer they got to the site. Turning her attention back ahead, she let out a quiet laugh. "Yeah, on occasion. If I don't remind her that I'm ten minutes older, then who will?"

Bellamy hadn't followed Aria away from the crash site to talk with her, he hadn't planned on even helping her pick the berries. But he had found himself doing both of those things, he had just wanted to check on her and make sure that she knew he was going to be the leader of the group. He had checked on her but he hadn't actually expressed his leadership, he didn't even know why he was talking to her because he never opened up to anyone. Only his mother and sister had known him better than anyone else, he wasn't the type to open up and talk about his emotions. He had always been the one who bottled up what he was feeling and usually what he was thinking as well, of course he'd speak his mind but it depended on the situation he was in. However he wasn't shy about standing up for people, unless he didn't like the person but he always felt bad afterwards if he had just stood back and did nothing. "No, it's too late. You were teasing me, so now I'll never think positively again and you're to blame for it." He grinned softly as they continued to walk, he glanced up at the sky and noticed that the sun was slowly beginning to set. Clarke and the others hadn't returned yet, he had thought they had left it too late. Unless they ran there which he knew they wouldn't, it was a little stupid for them to go when they did. They should have left tomorrow morning, it would have been them all day to get to the bunker and return.

He heard the celebration was still going strong as they got closer to the crash site, "No. You're one person that I don't have to worry about," He told her which was true, he knew that she could handle herself and if he thought correctly than her sister would be the same way. He chuckled softly at her comment and looked ahead of him, the drop ship came into view as they arrived back. He held onto his jacket tightly as he would hand out the blueberries himself, as they both walked closer to the others his eyes caught sight of Murphy who was making his way over to them. His eyes were focused on Aria however, so he stepped in front of her and walked straight up to Murphy. "Don't even think about it, you may not like her but she's here and you have to deal with that. You mess with her or her sister and you mess with me, that goes to everyone else too." He said lowly to Murphy as he didn't want to make a scene, he stood his ground until Murphy walked away without saying or doing anything.
Evie nodded her head slightly and slowly pushed herself up from the tree root that she had been sitting on, "I can walk. But after what happened, I think I deserve a piggy-back ride." She looked at Finn as she would never pass up a chance to have a piggy-back ride, especially if someone was offering it to her. She watched as he turned around and bent down, she wrapped her arms around his neck and climbed onto his back. Her legs rested at his sides which his hands moved to hold onto so she wouldn't fall, "I'm not too heavy, am I?" She asked him as she could and would walk if she was too heavy for him to carry, she wasn't going to make him struggle when he didn't need to be. She watched as Clarke lead the way again, this time both Monty and Jasper stayed close in case Evie needed anything. Even Clarke took her time with walking so the small group would stay together better, as they walked they all kept a look out for somewhere that would make a good camp for the night. Evie looked around until she spotted a little clearing off to the side, it was surrounded with trees and bushes but the grass was clear from any rocks.

"What about over there?" She pointed her finger in the direction of the little clearing, the trees would provide them with some shelter above and around them. It wasn't much but it could be all that they could find, Clarke headed over so she could take a closer look at the spot she hadn't seen. "Yeah, this looks really good actually." She smiled over at Evie as the group walked over to their camp for the night, she waited until Finn had set her back down onto her feet before she looked around and sat down on the green grass. Soon everyone else followed her as there was nothing else they could do, "So you all know why I was arrested. Why were all of you?" She asked as that was one thing they all had in common, they had all been arrested for something and the result of that was being sent down to Earth.

Finn grinned when she accepted his offer to give her a piggy-back ride. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't ever really given anybody except Raven a piggy-back ride - not that it really mattered. He and Raven had broken up about a month or so before this, because he couldn't bring himself to love her the way she loved him. Shaking the thoughts away, he was careful in holding up Evie when she climbed onto his back and he rolled his eyes with amusement to his question. "You're really light, don't worry," he said with a laugh as he followed Clarke. Admittedly, he was a little happy that the others were sticking close, not for his sake, but for Evie's, because it might help her see that not everybody in the 100 were rude and hateful. The fact that Clarke was walking slower compared to earlier was a good sign, too, because it meant she was compassionate to Evie's shock - something that others in the 100 wouldn't have been like, honestly.

Turning his attention to the direction that Evie pointed to, he waited for the agreement from everybody before he went over. Gently setting Evie down, he looked to the others and grinned in response to Evie's question. "Well, I went on a spacewalk," he chimed as if it was something extremely great to be arrogant about - he wasn't really arrogant, but it was nice to pretend just this once. he doubted any of the others had gone spacewalking, but that was probably because it was against the law. "Yeah, and you used a month's worth of oxygen for it," Clarke replied, only for Finn to lift his shoulders in a shrug. "Well, it was fun, anyways," he said with a grin before arching an eyebrow, "What about you, Princess? Why did you get arrested?" Clarke immediately looked uncomfortable and she shifted slightly before she sighed and answered, "I was planning to help my dad tell the Ark about something that he found out. They took it as treachery, since they told my dad not to do it, but he wanted everybody to know, anyways. And I agreed with him."
Aria tried not to laugh at his silly words, but it escaped anyways and she grinned broadly. "What a shame. I'll always feel guilty for killing your optimism," she joked lightly before she looked ahead. Turning her attention to the sky, she sighed. She had hoped that her sister and the others would have had time to get back by now, but now that it was getting dark and there was no sign of them, she hoped that they had managed to find shelter somewhere. They still didn't know if anything dangerous was in the forest, after all. Seeing the crash site so close, she was admittedly a little glad that the others had started to get closer to the crash site, too. At least that meant they were smart enough to know that it was better to be near the crash site with the sun setting. Silently, she wondered what nighttime would be like here, if it would be darker than on the Ark or if it would be more welcoming. They had already seen what daytime was like and she was a bit eager to see the difference.

But, then, she caught sight of Murphy coming towards them and she steeled herself for whatever he may do or say, because his attention seemed to be focused on her. Surprisingly, though, Bellamy had stepped in front of her and walked to Murphy to speak. Quietly, she made her way closer to hear what he was saying and arched an eyebrow as she watched Murphy walk away before looking to Bellamy. "Didn't you just say that I'm one person you don't have to worry about?" she asked with curiosity and slight amusement, though she sighed and shook her head before stepping around him. "You didn't have to protect me, Bellamy. I could have handled whatever he would have thrown at me." Pausing in her steps, she glanced back at him, eyeing him carefully before she offered a small, rather subtle smile. "Thank you, though. Nobody's really stood up for my sister and me except for us."

Bellamy watched Aria and he knew that he didn't need to step in for her like that, but he also needed someone as ruthless as Murphy to get the picture that they all needed to have each other's backs. He didn't want any type of fight to break out, if Murphy started something then the whole group could turn on Aria and then it's be harder to control and calm the situation down. They hadn't even been there a full twenty four hours, he wanted everyone to settled in and a camp to start forming before anything started between the people. "I don't have to worry about you, but I'd rather not have anything happen right now. Night will come before we know it and I'd rather have a decent sleep, I won't knowing that you could still be a target. Especially if Murphy was around," He explained himself to her the best he could, his feet just suddenly started moving and before he realised what he was doing, he had gotten into Murphy's face. He wouldn't change it, Murphy still needed to know that the twins were off bounds. Although he was the type of person to not care, he'd boss around both boys and girls without a care in the world.

He watched her walk away from him, he gave her a small nod when she thanked him for standing up for her. He had a feeling that she was someone who didn't overly like having someone else stand up for her, not when she could stand up for herself easily. But everyone needed someone there to give some backup at times, or to know that there was still someone there for them. However, Aria should have been the last person he stood up for. At least that is what he thought, but after talking to her while they were picking blueberries. He realised that she may not have been so bad after all.
It was obvious to Evie how uncomfortable Clarke was talking about her Dad and why she had been arrested, so she turned her attention onto Jasper and Monty so Clarke didn't have to say anything else. She couldn't imagine losing either of her parents, Clarke was there when her Dad was floated and Evie couldn't even imagine how horrible and heartbreaking that was. "What about you two?" She asked seeing the best friends share a grin between themselves, "We turned herbs into illegal substances." Jasper told them with a light shrug of her shoulders, he had been surprised that they hadn't gotten found out about what they were doing sooner. Monty had been the one who accidently stumbled upon turning the herbs into drugs, it wasn't anything dangerous or super bad. But it was still against the law and they were paying for it now, "Really? I didn't even know you could turn herbs into anything other than herbs," Evie smiled as they were all arrested over something quite small, apart from Clarke.

She leaned back on her elbows and looked up at the sky, it was quickly becoming darker and darker. She smiled when she saw the little stars that littered the sky, "Look. Stars are out," She smiled as the stars were so pretty and bright, she laid down in the grass and stared up at the sky. She covered her mouth with her hand as a yawn escaped from her lips, she was a little tired after her body had gone into shock and the whole nearly dying thing had taken a toll on her.

Finn looked over with amusement, eyeing Jasper and Monty with a smile. "Did you sell those illegal substances?" he joked lightly, unable to help it. Jasper and Monty were the last people that he ever expected to really get in trouble. Again, he hadn't really known them, but they just never struck him as the type of people to break the law in any way, much less to make illegal substances. It was such a simple thing that it was fairly ridiculous. "Maybe," Jasper said with a grin before he glanced over at Clarke. Admittedly, he was a little curious over what it was that her father was trying to tell everybody and, though he knew it was probably a bad idea, he had to ask, "What was it that your father was trying to warn the Ark?" Clarke sighed quietly and looked around at the others. "The Ark is running out of oxygen. That's why they sent us down her, to buy themselves time. They've probably got a few months worth, at most." A silence settled over them and Finn felt about as uncomfortable as he was certain the others did.

Clearing his throat, he looked to Evie and blinked when she mentioned the stars. Turning his attention to the sky, he grinned up at the sight. "A much better sight than what we see on the Ark," he mentioned after a long moment before Clarke pointed to one of the moving stars - only, apparently, it wasn't a star, since she said, "That's the Ark." Finn nodded slightly before he moved to lie down on his back, staring up at the sky next to Evie before he heard the yawn escape her. Looking over, he arched an eyebrow as he eyed her carefully for a long, silent moment. "If you're tired, Evie, you should get some sleep. It's been a long day, anyways," he told her quietly.
Aria didn't bother replying to him, but she did keep something in mind: with it being night, she actually was a big target. Mentally, she reminded herself to sleep a bit away from camp, not too far, but far enough that the sound of somebody approaching her wouldn't get drowned with the noise that everybody else would make. Quietly, she made her way around to as many people as she could, telling them to take some blueberries from the bag as she held it out to them. Most people weren't sure about it, considering she was one of the twins and she figured they might not trust her, but she didn't care. "Either eat or starve, your choice," was what she told those who were hesitant at first. After saying that to those who were hesitant, though, they did take some blueberries and when she saw that most people were eating, she made sure that she had enough in the bag for herself and the group that was still out to eat before she moved to find somewhere to sit.

She found a place amongst the trees, still able to see the site from where she was. Setting the bag down beside her, she took out her handful and closed the bag before she started eating. Her eyes concentrated on the path that her sister and the others had taken to leave and she figured that being over here would be twice as good for her - both because it was safer and because she would be able to see her sister and the others when they got back.

Evie hadn't been expecting to hear what Clarke had said, it caused panic to fill her body. Her parents were still up in the Ark, the had only sent down a 100 but there were still hundreds of people still in the Ark and they had no idea what was coming. So many people could die in that time, now she knew why they had been sent down to Earth. To make sure if Earth was survivable, if it was then everyone from the Ark would be sent down. Hopefully it would happen before anyone else died up there, she wanted to see her parents so badly that she hoped it wouldn't be long before their families came down so they could finally be together again. She looked at Finn and rolled onto her side so she was facing him, "Okay," She whispered and didn't fight when he told her to get some sleep, she closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep. She wasn't sure how long she had been sleeping for before she woke up, it was dark and everyone else was sleeping. She stood up when she saw a blue light, she followed it as it seemed to be a butterfly. She had seen pictures of butterflies but she didn't know that they glowed at nighttime, she gasped softly when she came across what seemed to be a whole swarm of glowing butterflies that were in the trees. She looked around as she admired how beautiful the butterflies were, she was completely focused on the insects that she hadn't heard anyone come up behind her.

Not until she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Finn! Don't sneak up on people, you scared me." She scolded him lightly as she lightly smacked his arm, he could have been anyone for all she knew and that thought didn't sit well with her. She stood there with him as they both admired the beauty that they were surrounded by, until Evie grew tired again and this time both of them fell asleep. In the morning they all stood on the rocks near the lake again, they needed a way to get over so they could continue on their way to the bunker. Finn had found some reeds dangling from a large tree, it seemed strong enough to hold their weight so Jasper gave it a go first and he swung across the lake. The group cheered out along with Jasper as they now had a way across the lake, Jasper even found an old metal sign with Mount Weather written across it. Clarke was going to swing across next, Evie was standing out in the open with Monty before she screamed loudly. A spear had been thrown from somewhere and was now piercing his chest.
In the morning Bellamy walked out among the sleeping bodies, some were awake already and were quietly talking. He couldn't sleep anymore so he decided to get up, he didn't see the Princess or any that went with her, he also didn't see Aria laying anywhere. He didn't worry or panic, he walked a little further out of the crash site and saw she was still fast asleep. Nothing had happened to her and as far as he knew, no one had tried to bother her throughout the night. He wasn't worried about the group on being back, but Aria could be feeling differently about it. If it was Octavia out there without him, then he'd be worried and constantly looking at the path in hopes she would return shortly. He'd even send out a group to search for her, but he was thankful that he had managed to keep his sister at the crash site for now. He knew she'd want to go exploring, much like everyone would want and he'd eventually have to let her go off on her own and do things.

He couldn't keep her from living her life, this was a chance for her to actually have a life and not be locked up. She was going to take that with both hands and she wouldn't be letting go anytime soon, he was about to turn back around and leave when he heard a small groan as Aria seemed to be slowly waking up. "They aren't back yet, if they don't return today then I'll lead a group out there to search for them." He told her as he still wanted to give the group time to reach the bunker and make the hire back, before they did anything.

Finn had been glad to notice that Evie had gone to sleep fairly quickly. It took him a while to get some sleep, because he wanted to stay awake in case anything happened. He had eventually drifted off, but only for a while. When he woke up, he noticed that Evie wasn't where she had been and he quickly stood, going off in search of her. Since he had moderate tracking skills, it was a little easy to find her and, when he placed his hand on her shoulder, he couldn't help but to grin with amusement at her reaction. "Sorry," he whispered, not wanting to scare off the butterflies. It amazed him that these insects were actually glowing, as he was certain that wasn't supposed to be possible. Yet, here they were, glowing like the moon and stars above them, yet with such a brighter color that it fascinated him easily. He supposed that it was the radiation from the bombs that done this to the butterflies, just like it had done to the deer that they saw before. It made sense, he decided, but it surprised him that radiation had been able to make something so freaky and then be able to make something so beautiful; clearly, there was a lot about Earth that they didn't know yet, but he didn't entirely mind.

When they returned and fell asleep again, it was a lot more peaceful than before and he assumed it was because of the butterflies. But, daytime came so quickly that it surprised him - though he wasn't necessarily tired anymore. In fact, he was excited, especially since they had managed to find a way across the lake. Jasper had already made it over, after Finn had offered to go first, though, admittedly, he had been a little worried about it. Jasper had stepped up, though, clearly wanting to be the brave one of the group this time. After Jasper made it over and Clarke stepped up, Finn looked to her. "Your turn, Princess," he chimed, though his attention got brought to Evie when he heard her scream, immediately hoping that nothing had happened to her, that the serpent hadn't somehow managed to get to her. But, seeing that she was looking across the lake, he stared over and his mouth fell agape at the sight. "We need to go," he said quickly. Jasper looked dead and, if they didn't get away from there, they might be next. Without really thinking, he took hold of Evie's hand and began rushing away from the area, the others following in tow as they hoped to get away from whatever danger was lurking around them.
Aria had stayed up most of the night, waiting for any sign that her sister was on her way back. Even when she did sleep, it was just for short periods of time, quick naps because she was worried that, if she slept too heavily, she might not be able to greet her sister when they returned. When she was awake, she worried deeply over if something had happened. Earth could be unpredictable and they still didn't know if anything terrible was out there. Eventually, she fell into another nap, though when she heard approaching footsteps, it was quick to wake her as she hoped it was her sister. Hearing Bellamy's voice, though, she blinked and shifted to sit up, rubbing her eyes in hopes of clearing her vision a bit because she wasn't used to the light here yet. Lifting her gaze to him, she nodded slowly and got to her feet, brushing herself off. "If you lead a group out there, I want to come along," she said quickly, not even bothering to think over it. Still, she hoped that she was worrying for no reason, that her sister and the others had just made it to the bunker safely and slept the night in there, but she wanted to be on the safe side and she wanted to find her sister if it was taking too long for them to get back.

Clearly, she wasn't taking no for an answer and she was certain that Bellamy would probably understand it. He did have a sister of his own, after all, so he could understand why she would want to make sure that her sister was safe. She hoped he understood, anyways. "In the meantime, we can probably go ahead and set up a few foraging parties, have them search for edible food and even loose wood that we can use for fire or even shelter," she suggested, though she wasn't sure that he would take heed to the suggestion. Sure, they had spoken about it yesterday, but that didn't mean that it would actually become a reality. Still, she wanted to be on the safe side and have as much done as they could all get done. "If we're lucky, we might be able to find something to make tents with in the drop ship." Or, for all they knew, there might actually be tents in the drop ship - as far as she was aware, nobody had actually checked it, so they might actually be lucky.

Bellamy had already expected Aria to want to join the search group if it came to that, he wasn't going to tell her no seeing as he'd do anything for Octavia. He'd go on the longest walks and would go without food, just to make sure she was okay. "I was going to let you go anyway," He assured her as he glanced back at the sleeping group, "We might as well start now. I'll have the people who are awake out to forage, I'll stay here for the time being so I can make more smaller groups when people do wake up. You could check the drop ship for tents or anything else to help us out here," He suggested knowing he was the safest person out of them, to give people jobs. He hoped they listened to him because he would stand his ground if they refused, if people did refuse then he wouldn't worry about not letting them eat or give them shelter. Everyone would need to pull their weight if they were going to survive this world, they were on their own and had to do all the work on their own. He walked back into the crash site and past a little pile of the bracelets, he had watched a few people force them off last night and he didn't stop them. Why should they let the Ark know if they were alive, if Earth was safe to come down and live on? They had sent them all down to begin with, they had floated his mother and locked his sister away from him. He wasn't going to help them now.

He had been the first one to take his bracelet off and a few followed after him, "I want you out looking for food. Don't go too far away from here, pick what you know is safe to eat." He told the group of five people, they looked at each other and didn't make any movement to head out. "Do you want to look for food or sit here and die starving?" He asked which did the job, he watched as they all stood up and headed away from the camp site. He'd have most people looking for food, a few smaller groups looking for wood and another few groups looking for anything that they could make weapons with.
Tears were quick to form in Evie's eyes as she stared at Jasper's body, blood had stained his t-shirt and he wasn't moving. "Jasper," She called out to him before she felt a hand grab onto her's, she was turned around as Finn pulled her along with him. She glanced back over her shoulder to see that Clarke had gotten Monty away, "No Finn. We need to go get Jasper, we can't leave him there." She spoke quietly as some tears rolled down her cheeks, "It's too dangerous, Evie. Someone threw that spear, we can't stop until we get back to the crash site. We aren't alone here," Clarke said firmly as Evie held onto Finn's hand tightly, she didn't want to let go and get lost if there were other people out there. Dangerous people who could easily kill them, she had thought she wanted her sister yesterday when she went into shock but now she need Aria even more. Jasper had been doing nothing wrong, they just wanted to get to Mount Weather. That's all and now Jasper could be dead before of it, any one of them could have gone first across the lake but Jasper had volunteered when no one else did.

Using her free hand she wiped the tears away from her eyes so her vision wouldn't be blurry, they stayed as close to the trees and bushes as they could. Just in case the person was close to them, it had to be a person as an animal couldn't throw a spear like that. Evie did see much of the spear but it did look handmade, from the little that she did see. They did stop a few times so they could catch their breath and make sure they were on the right path, however Evie never once let Finn's hand go. Not even when she checked on Monty who was heart broken, they all stopped him when he tried to go back for his best friend which any of them would have done.

Finn kept a firm hold on Evie's hand the entire run, though he didn't quite understand it himself. He supposed it was because he had developed such a strong instinct to keep her safe just from the events that took place the day before, but he tried not to think too far into it. "When we get back to the camp, we'll try to gather more people to come with us to try to find Jasper and rescue him," he told Monty as they ran, not wanting to stop in case whoever had thrown the spear was chasing them. He wanted to put as much distance between them and the river as he could for now and, when they had more people and weapons to fight back, they would come back to find Jasper. It was a promise to both Monty and Jasper, really, because Monty was so worried and he was certain that they all wanted Jasper back safely. Hopefully, Jasper was still alive. "Just keep running," Clarke told them all, knowing that they needed to get back to the others, not just to try to round up more people to help them find Jasper but to warn them that they weren't alone, that there was something dangerous in the forest and that they all needed to be careful.

Nodding, Finn continued the trek, occasionally glancing back at Evie to make sure that she was okay. Though he could feel her hand in his, he couldn't shake the worry that she could trip or he could trip and they would lose the contact and something terrible might happen afterwards. It was a ridiculous concern, he knew, but he couldn't help it. He was already protective of the Palmer twin after such a short time of knowing her, though that could have just been due to his usual personality. He, after all, had been protective of Raven, too, and had even given Raven his food when they were younger because her mom always sold hers. "It's okay, Evie," he told the girl before turning his attention back ahead, making sure to be careful as they ran, "We'll get him back."
Aria was a little relieved to hear that he would have let her gone anyways, because it would make things easier, in case they really did need to go find the others. Upon being given the job to go check the drop ship, she didn't hesitate to head towards it because she needed something to occupy her time while she waited for either her sister and the others to show or for them to go out and search for the group. Seeing the pile of bracelets, though, she let a frown take over her features. Who would be stupid enough to take off their bracelets when that let their families and friends know that they were alive and well? Her fingers traced over her own bracelet and, mentally, she told herself that she wouldn't dare take it off, not with knowing that her father was in medical and probably staring at a screen that had everybody on it. Reminding herself to tell the same to her sister, she walked onto the ramp and wandered into the drop ship. Thankfully, it was bright enough outside to provide light in the drop ship and she hoped that would make it easier to find anything that they may need.

She could faintly hear Bellamy talking to others outside and she was a little amused because it was almost the same thing that she had told the others last night when they were hesitant to eat the blueberries. Still, she concentrated on the task at hand and wandered to the ladder, climbing up it in hopes of getting to the top so that she could search there first, then work her way down. It would probably be easier that way, she figured, because, then, if she found anything and it wasn't breakable or fragile, she could just drop it down and gather it when she got done.

Bellamy watched as slowly the light started to wake everyone up, Octavia stretched her body but he told her that he was staying with him. She tried to argue but he was firm on it, if the other Palmer twin wasn't back yet than he wasn't going to risk going through the worry that Aria was feeling right now. He ignored her pout and huff as it was the best thing for her, she didn't see it that way of course but that wasn't his problem. He hoped that Aria would find some tents in the drop ship because they could do with some, he assumed it rained and he didn't want to be out in the rain. That would be the perfect way to have people become sick, they didn't have medicine so they couldn't do anything if someone did get sick. There wouldn't be enough tents for everyone, people would have to group together at night for people to fit in the tents or some could sleep in the drop ship or outside but only if they wanted to. He was going to treat everyone the same as they were all equal now, no one was going to be treated special or different. Not even Octavia because that would only make her a target, he watched as the group started searching for whatever he had told them too. He had a little group of guys that were little second in charge, sadly Murphy was one of them although he was having second thoughts on that.

"Go look for anything you can make weapons with, look hard. We need to start hunting," He told them and was about to head into the drop ship to check on Aria, but noise suddenly started. He listened closely but couldn't work out what it was, he moved over to where his sister was standing and stood protectively in front of her. Although relief settled in his body when Finn came into his line of vision, "Aria! Get down here!" He called out to her and frowned when he noticed one from the group wasn't there, "What happened? Where's the supplies?" He asked as he stepped forward.
Evie just continued to run, even when her legs and lungs burned. She pushed through wanting to stop as she knew they needed to warn everyone and then get a group so they could bring Jasper back, all the time she kept her grip on Finn's hand. Even when the top of the drop ship came into view, she didn't let go. She saw people from the group were exploring the area close to the crash site, they started talking and yelling but Evie could only focus on one thing. Getting to her sister as quickly as possible, as they ran into the main area of the site she saw Bellamy who asked questions. Clarke inhaled air quickly, "We didn't get to Mount Weather. Jasper was attacked, a spear was thrown at him and he was hit in the chest. We aren't alone here and whoever is here, their dangerous." Clarke spoke loudly so everyone would hear her, she wasn't going to repeat herself. "We had to leave Jasper, but we're going back for him. We'll need help though," She looked around as she really hoped people would be strong enough and would volunteer.

Evie had looked around for Aria and when she saw she was in the drop ship, she let Finn's hand go and ran into her sister's arms. She clung onto Aria as she tried to catch her breath, she just needed her twin sister to know that everything was going to be alright. "It was horrible, Aria. He went pale so quickly and he was bleeding, I wanted to help him but we couldn't. We just ran," She told her sister all in the same breath, she only did that when she was upset or sad and needed to get everything off her chest.

Finn wasn't too surprised that Evie had let go of his hand as soon as she saw her sister; it didn't bother him, because he figured that she probably needed her sister's embrace more than she needed to hold his hand. Regardless, he concentrated on the others around them and nodded in agreement to Clarke's words. "Whoever is out there isn't afraid to take us out," he told them bluntly, "They saw their opportunity and they took it. So, when we do go after Jasper, we need to be extremely careful and stick together, no matter what." Because, whoever had attacked Jasper had waited for him to be away from the group to do so. He could only imagine that it meant that they had better odds of surviving the little rescue mission if they stuck together than they would if they parted ways. "If we're going to go after him, we need to do so quickly. We need weapons and everything, in case we run into whoever's out there, in case we need to fight." He hoped it wouldn't come down to that, that they could get Jasper back safely and easily without having to resort to violence, but there was no telling if that would be a possibility when Jasper had been hit by a spear without even provoking anybody.

On the other hand, it made him wonder how long whoever had attacked them had been following them. If they had been following them for a while, why hadn't they attacked himself and Evie the night before, when they were chasing butterflies? Why had they waited until Jasper got across the river to attack him, when all he had done was swing over and hold up a sign? And, then, as he thought about it, the pieces were slowly starting to form together, they were starting to make sense. Could it have something to do with boundaries? It made sense to him. But, he didn't want to say anything so soon, in case he was wrong. For all he knew, he could have just been reading too much into things. "We need to hurry."
Aria had made her way down the moment she heard Bellamy yell out for her, as she figured that her sister was back. Why else would he have called her down so urgently? The moment she got down onto the ramp, though, she was surprised to hear everything that was going on - and even more surprised to hear that somebody wasn't with them, that somebody had gotten hurt. When she felt her sister cling onto her, she quickly wrapped her arms around Evie, hugging her tightly. "Shh, it's okay," she whispered, trying to soothe her sister's worries as much as she could. It was obvious that Evie was upset and Aria wished that she could take it all away, because she hated seeing her sister so upset and scared. "Hey, it's okay." She tightened her hold just a little, rubbing her sister's back as she looked over her sister's shoulders to the others, listening to what they were saying. "I'm sure he's fine. We'll get to him, okay?" Though, honestly, she wasn't certain over if Jasper really was fine or not, but she could at least be optimistic and hopeful for her sister's sake, since this was affecting her sister so much.

Looking to the others, she was at least grateful that her sister was okay, even if she was upset from whatever had happened out there. It frightened her to know that her sister could be in Jasper's place right now and the very thought of it made Aria want to never let her sister go. It made her regret letting Evie go in the first place, but she couldn't exactly stop her - she may be the older twin, but they both knew that they needed to earn their place here and that was what her sister had stepped up to try to do. "You've seen pale people and blood before, okay? That doesn't mean that he's dead, you know that better than I do. He could have gone into shock or something."

Bellamy listened and nodded his head, "One problem. We don't have any weapons, all we have is a gun and that's staying with me." He told Clarke only to feel bad afterwards, "Octavia, stay here. If there's dangerous people out there, I'm not having you getting hurt." He told her and kissed the top of her head before looking back out at the group, "Anyone who wants to bring Jasper back then we're heading out now." He called out and walked over to Clarke and Finn, he let Monty stay as he wouldn't be any help to them as they didn't know what was out there and he was too close to Jasper. If he saw his friend than he could do anything, and could end up needing to be rescued also. He stood there to wait for anyone to volunteer to help, Wells did even though he was still slightly limping from the attack Murphy gave him. Although no one else was stepping forward so Wells would have to do, it wasn't a big group but hopefully it would be enough to find Jasper and bring him back. Four people would have to do, he reached back to make sure his gun was still there in his pants which it was. "Let's go then," He nodded his head and they started walking out.

Clarke and Finn would both need to lead the way, they had just returned from where Jasper was left so they knew where they were going. He didn't really consider if the Palmer twins wanted to come with them, although he did give everyone plenty of time to step forward and volunteer to come along. With the state that Evie was in, he hardly expected her to come but he assumed that Aria would have wanted to stay there with her sister to comfort her after what she saw. Although they had only just left the crash site so there was time for either of the twins or anyone else to gain braveness and join them, he wasn't counting on it though.
Evie felt relief wash over her the second that she was in her sister's arms, all she needed was a hug and to know that everything was going to be alright now. She pulled back a little from her sister's arms and looked at her, "I know. He just went into shock, I mean who wouldn't? They'll bring him back and I'll make him all better," She told Aria as much as she told herself, she had heard that apparently her father had given them a bag filled with medical equipment as he knew Evie would be on the drop ship. If anything did happen and someone needed medical attention, he was positive that she'd be able to do anything on her own. She had seen so much already and he had all the confidence in the world, in both his little girls. Evie took a deep breath as she looked behind her, she watched as the group of four headed off to bring Jasper back. She would have gave with them but she wanted to find the box of medical equipment before Jasper was brought back, "I'm sorry if I worried you." She looked at her sister.

She knew she shouldn't be worried, but there were dangerous people out there hiding and could attack at any time. She was worried about Clarke, Wells and Bellamy but she was more worried about Finn. She really liked him as she had gotten to know him a little better, he had saved her once and then protected her another time. She own him a lot and she wanted to thank him for what he has done for her already, it was only the second day and yet she hoped that he came back.

Finn watched Evie for a long moment, making sure that she was safe with her sister, before he nodded to Bellamy's words. "Wait, you have a gun?" he asked with a frown, wondering how in the world Bellamy had managed to get his hands on a gun. On second thought, he didn't want to know, because it was probably something terrible and they didn't need to worry about that right now. Right now, they needed to worry about getting to Jasper and saving him. So, turning back towards the path, he began to lead the way back to where they had left Jasper, Clarke walking alongside him. The two didn't talk, but he could tell Clarke was a little uneasy with the news that Bellamy had a gun. For all they knew, Bellamy could use it on any of them - he didn't really have a reason to keep Clarke or Wells alive, since he considered them as "privileged," and Finn would just be collateral damage, if he really wanted to use the gun. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he concentrated his attention ahead.

"Try not to get trigger happy back there, Bellamy," he said after they were far enough away from the crash site. Wells kept close to Clarke, even though Clarke seemed to dislike it quite a bit. It didn't make sense to Finn, because, whenever he had ever seen either of them, the other one was right there with them, almost like the twins - only, really, the twins were hardly ever away from each other until Evie got arrested. He didn't want to question over the tension between Clarke and Wells, though, and concentrated his attention ahead instead in hopes of getting them to Jasper quickly.
"Of course you'll make him all better," Aria assured her sister with a smile before ruffling her sister's hair just a little, not enough to mess it up but enough to hopefully ease her sister's worries a bit. "Please. I'll always worry about you." She grinned and nudged her sister, then, but looked around for a moment. "Come with me real quick," she told her before taking her sister's hand and leading the way to where she had slept the night before. Grabbing the bag, she opened it and gestured to her sister to get some. "Bellamy and I foraged a bit yesterday. I saved you and the others some, so you should eat, then we can search the drop ship for anything you could use to patch him up - and then I'll get back to searching for things we can use for shelter or even weapons, in case they left us any knives or something." She hoped they had, especially since they seemed to need them now. Though a knife itself wouldn't do much against a spear, it would still be better than nothing.

Part of her wondered if she was just trying to come up with something for them to do to keep them busy or if she just wanted to offer a distraction for her sister because she could see how distressed she was. It hurt Aria to know that there really wasn't much she could do in the situation, but she was there for her sister and that's what mattered to her right now. With Bellamy gone, though, she was a little worried that the others might start causing trouble; she reminded herself to stick close to Evie, no matter what, just in case.

Bellamy rolled his eyes at Finn's comment, "Why would I waste the few bullets that I have? If this person is still near Jasper, than the gun will come in hardly." He told them although he wasn't sure if he'd be good at shooting someone, sure he had shot Jaha but that was different. He had a reason to do that and Jaha had been fairly close to him, so it was easy to not miss him. But if someone was hiding then he wasn't sure how good he'd actually be, but he didn't want to think about that right now. They just needed to get to Jasper and get him back to the crash site, that was what their mission was and hopefully it would be a mission that they could complete rather quickly. If Jasper was still somehow alive and needed medical help, then he wasn't sure what they were going to do. He knew that Clarke's mother and the twin's father were both doctors, but did they teach their children anything? He had no idea but he sure hoped they had. He noticed the tension between Clarke and Wells, it was so thick that it could have been suffocating. He didn't mention it as he didn't want to get his head bitten off by Clarke, who seemed to be more on edge than she was before.

So he just kept silent and followed Clarke and Finn, he wasn't sure of time wise but he was beginning to think that maybe they had gotten lost but no one wanted to say anything. That was until the four of them came to a stop, Bellamy looked around the area but there wasn't any sight of Jasper. "Why are we stopping?" He asked as his eyes scanned the area for anything dangerous, though he didn't see anything although that didn't mind there wasn't someone hiding. "Jasper was right there when we left, he couldn't move on his own. Someone's taken him," Clarke told Bellamy and Wells, Bellamy pinched the bridge of his nose when he heard that. "How are we meant to find him now?" He asked as he knew he couldn't track, he was pretty sure that neither Wells nor Clarke had ever learnt to track either.
"I will," Evie smiled when her sister reassured her that she'd be able to make Jasper better again, she rolled her eyes as she quickly went to fix her hair although it wasn't that ruffled for her to worry about. "I know and I'll worry about you, but I really didn't know we'd be gone for that long. Then it started getting dark, so we just found a clearing to sleep in." She skipped over the part of her finding the lake and nearly being killed, Aria never needed to know about that. She held her twin's hand and followed her over to where her bag was, Evie reached in and only took a small amount of blueberries. She wanted to leave plenty for Finn and Clarke as they hadn't eaten anything yet, she sighed as she tasted the berries though it wasn't close to being enough but it would do for the time being. "You and Bellamy? Is there something that you need to tell me, Aria? You liking the bad boy now, huh." Evie smiled as she teased her sister, Bellamy would have been the last person that she expected would willingly talk to either of them but to help her sister as well. That was just shocking to her.

"Let's go search the drop ship, there has to be something in there." She mentioned as she turned around and saw that a few people had started to explore the forest again, not as many as there had been when she returned and she assumed that was because Bellamy wasn't there. She stayed close to her sister as they headed towards the drop ship, "Do you mind if I help? I have nothing else to do," Octavia asked causing Evie to glance at her sister, "Yeah of course." She smiled at the girl as they could do with all the eyes they could get, "I think our Dad put a box of medical supplies on here but I'm not positive. Also look for anything else that we could use," She told the girl as they walked up the ramp.

"Why do you have a gun in the first place?" Finn asked bluntly as it didn't make sense to him. If Bellamy had a gun, were there other weapons on the ship that they could use that they didn't know about? Or had Bellamy somehow managed to sneak the gun onto the ship? He wasn't entirely sure and a part of him told him that he didn't really want to know, but he couldn't help but to be curious. Guns were dangerous, after all, and it was only a matter of time before somebody tried to take the gun or somebody who was innocent got hurt because of the gun. Or maybe he was just overthinking things and the gun would actually be of more use than anything else that they could have brought with them right now.

When they got to the river, his eyes went right to the spot that Jasper was supposed to be at. Only, Jasper wasn't there. In fact, there was no sign of Jasper having been there at all and he wasn't the only one who noticed. A frown etched its way onto his features as he stared at the empty spot. "I can track," he offered, except that meant that they'd have to find a different way across; he wasn't willing to risk swinging over again when whoever was out there could still be watching them. "We need to find a way across without swinging over for me to do that, though. Except, we can swim across from here." Wells furrowed his brows at the mention of it and looked over with confusion. "Why not?" he asked, only for Clarke to sigh. "Yesterday, we ran into a serpent in the water. It almost attacked us," she explained, leaving out that it hadn't actually almost attacked them, it had almost attacked Evie, but she didn't want that to get back to Evie's sister. "So, apparently, swimming across from here is definitely a no go," Wells muttered, admittedly a bit disappointed with the news, as that would have made everything so much easier.
"What? Hey, don't pull that on me. Weren't you holding Finn's hand?" Aria quickly said, though she tried to hide the blush that grew on her cheeks. Okay, so maybe Bellamy was attractive. That didn't mean that Aria liked him, though. He had just helped her, because he decided to be nice, if only just for now, and she didn't want to even think about falling for anybody. "But, he did kind of stop Murphy from trying to start anything last night. It surprised me, honestly." But, she rolled her eyes then, realizing that she was probably talking too much and she quickly shook the thoughts from her head. No need to think too much about Bellamy talking to her, helping her or even standing up for her, because, yeah, that might just make her start to actually like the guy and that was the last thing that she wanted to deal with. Broken hearts would probably be more difficult to survive than Earth would be - and, with Bellamy being dubbed as "the bad boy" by her sister, she was pretty sure that, if she fell for Bellamy, then she would definitely end up with a broken heart.

As they made their way back to the ship, she was mildly surprised to hear Octavia offer to help. Maybe it was just a Blake thing, she decided, because both of the Blake kids had been up for helping so far, which was more than she could say for most of the others, aside from those who had gone out the day before and today. "Really, anything that looks useful could probably be used regardless," she assured her sister and Octavia. "There are a lot of things that we could use to makeshift things we might later need. If it looks like it could be used for anything at all, grab it. And, hopefully, we'll find that box of medical supplies first because it will definitely be of use both when Jasper gets back and when somebody gets injured when it's time to start hunting."

"I found it before I was put onto the drop ship, I thought it could come in use." Bellamy lied straight through his teeth, but he wasn't going to be telling anyone what had really happened. Especially not with Wells standing right there, he didn't know that his dad was dead from Bellamy shooting him and he wasn't going to be finding out any time soon. He listened to what was being said and as he stayed close to the trees for coverage, he looked around the area in case there was an easier way across the lake. "What about over here? There's still plenty of water, but there's also rocks. It could be harder for the serpent to get close to us, and if we all go across at once and be as quick as we can than I reckon we could make it." He pointed out although he had no idea that the serpent was as large as it was as he hadn't seen it, he looked back to Finn who seemed to know more than he did about tracking. He knew that he could make it across in the water, he was also pretty sure that Finn would easily get across. But Wells was still trying to hide his slight limp and Clarke was just a girl. Not that he thought girls couldn't do what guys could, because he knew that wasn't the case but she was smaller and shorter.

If they couldn't swing across or swim, then they either needed to leave Jasper or cross the lake where he had found. "We need to make a decision now, Jasper is still out there and could still be alive. If we take our time, than he's going to die." He said as they needed to make a move, either to cross the lake or turn back empty handed. He didn't know Jasper but he didn't want to return empty handed, the kid had friends and people would be firing questions non-stop at them. It was easier to spend some more time searching and risk people targets to save or at least bring the kid back.
"Why shouldn't I? And yes, I was holding Finn's hand. He is a very nice person and you'd like him too, I didn't want to get lost on the way back and I was upset." Evie explained herself with a smile on her face, she wasn't going to hide that she was holding Finn's hand and even if she did. She'd have to lie and she couldn't lie for the life of her, so there wasn't any point. "He stopped Murphy from starting something with you?" Her smile only got wider because she was enjoying this more than she should, it was keeping her mind off other things like Jasper and Finn being out there without her. She knew that falling in love or even developing a crush on someone here, wouldn't work out. Not with the risk of them getting hurt or dying a right problem now, although Finn was really nice to her and he was very handsome. She pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind, "I'll have to pay Murphy a little visit then." She said as a slight frown formed on her face, she wasn't gone all that long and someone had decided to go mess with her sister. She wasn't having that.

As she walked onto the drop ship with her sister and Octavia, she started searching through everything that she could. She was mainly looking for the medical box but she still came across other things, like the belts that had strapped them into the chairs. Even the chairs could become useful if they could get them out, Evie decided to start searching the middle level while Octavia searched the bottom. She found a little box that was connected to the wall of the ship, it took some effort but she was able to pull it open. Although she did lose her balance and she landed on her backside, but a happy noise escaped from her when the medical box was right there. "I've found Dad's box," She called out to let Aria and Octavia know, she grabbed it and held it close to her.

Finn's eyes followed to where Bellamy was pointing, though he wasn't entirely sure. "We could give it a go," he said after a long moment. "The serpents really big, though. We'll have to create a distraction, just in case, maybe grab a few rocks and, while we're crossing, we could throw the rocks to the other end of the lake?" He figured that might work - it was better than nothing, at least, and, if they could distract the serpent, they had a better chance of surviving. The problem was being able to get across fast enough. There were four of them, after all, and Wells had a limp, so it would be fairly difficult. Plus, there was the matter of how deep the water might be. As their group had pointed out to each other the day before, none of them knew how to swim. If it was too deep, then none of them would be able to make it across. Maybe they would be lucky, though, and the water might be shallow enough for them to walk in. He could hope, couldn't he?

Hearing Bellamy urge for a decision, he stared at the water for a long moment and nodded. "Let's just do it. If we don't make it to the other side, nobody can say that we didn't at least try," he told them and Clarke and Wells seemed to agree with him. Without waiting for Bellamy's response, he began making his way to the section of water that Bellamy had pointed out and he grabbed a handful of rocks near the water, the other two doing the same. Looking back at Bellamy, he arched an eyebrow. "Are you coming or not?" Because they couldn't wait forever. They needed to hurry. Jasper had been speared through the chest, after all, and if he wasn't treated soon, he could die. Hell, he could already be dead, but Finn was hoping that they would make it to Jasper in time to get him, bring him back to the drop ship and somehow manage to save him.
Aria laughed, because she couldn't help it. "You don't have to worry about repaying Murphy," she assured her sister with a smile. "He didn't get a chance to even say anything. He was just making his way over and Bellamy stopped him and told him that nobody was allowed to mess with us. So, we don't have to worry about Murphy and, hopefully, we won't have to worry about anybody else. And you don't have to worry about beating somebody up for my sake." She grinned, the last bit coming out teasingly. Admittedly, she was glad her sister was so protective and headstrong, because she was the same way. There was no way that Aria would let anybody hurt Evie, just like there was no way that Evie would let anybody hurt Aria. It was how they had always been and she knew it become all the more evident with them being down here on Earth, surrounded by so many people who disliked them. At least they had some people on their side, though.

Climbing up to the third level, where she had been at before Bellamy had called her down, she started searching for anything that they could use. There were tarps thrown here and there, a few tools, which were probably for repairs to the ship if they ever needed it, but they could definitely use them for other things, too. Hearing her sister call out, she let out a sigh of relief. "That's great, Evie!" she called back down before grinning. "That's going to save a bunch of lives, I'm sure of it!" And she was excited to see her sister earn such a big place amongst the group with her medical knowledge. It would help her sister gain respect and everything and it would ease Aria's worries a little. Turning her attention back to the search, she was surprised to find that there actually were a few tents. "Hey, I found tents! And tarps, too, which could be used to make tents." Now, all they really needed were weapons. Hopefully they could find some.
