Suddenly Bellamy wasn't feeling all that brave, but like he had said before. They needed to cross the water and do it quickly, "Yeah. Keep going," He told the group as he grabbed a few rocks and walked into the water, the water hit around his knees so it thankfully wasn't too deep. He was about half way when he hear a ripple in the water, "Go! It's coming, hurry up." He earned the others before he started throwing his rocks as far away from them as he possible could, he watched the serpent pause like it was checking to see what the other noise was before continuing on heading towards them. Bellamy was the last to step out of the water just in time, he let out a breath and looked at the group. "That was closer than I'd like, can you see where Jasper was taken?" He asked Finn as they climbed up some rocks and looked at the spot where Jasper had been, "Stay in the trees. If someone is here, it'll be harder for them to attack us." He said quietly as they all stood in the forest, he gave Finn some time to look around and work out what the marks in the ground meant. To him it looked like Jasper had been dragged backwards before then he only saw one pair of footprints, like the person had carried Jasper away.

"Finn, I've found some blood over here." Clarke looked at the rock that did had some blood on it, and to Bellamy it looked quite fresh meaning Jasper could still be alive. But also that it hadn't been long since he was moved, he watched as Finn started walking off and all they could do was follow him. Not much was said as he let Finn think and track, they were heading further into the forest although there wasn't a path or track that they were taking. So he hoped they could find their way back to lake once they found Jasper, as they walked they passed a line of trees and froze. "What is that?" Wells asked when they saw wood stuck in the ground to make a tend like shape, but there was Jasper tied to the pieces of wood. "It's like he's live bait," Clarke said terrified as they all stared at Jasper, "We have to get him down." Clarke took off running only to have her fall into a dug out trap, Bellamy had only barely grabbed her hand in time. He pulled her up before they carefully made their way over to Jasper who was still breathing, he watched as Finn and Clarke started to untie the kid when something found them. Bellamy turned around to see a black panther, reaching for his gun he realised Wells had taken it sometime during the walk there. He only had three bullets left and it took three for Wells to kill the large cat.
"We'll see about Murphy," Evie smiled knowing that if Murphy even looked at Aria the wrong way, than he would have to deal with Evie. Maybe even Finn and Bellamy would help stand up to people like Murphy, she was more confident in having Finn stand up for them than Bellamy but he may surprise her. Once she found the box she started looking for anything that they could use as a weapon, she smiled when her sister found the tents. "There's a lot of metal down here, if we could break pieces off then we could have a few weapons. But that's about all I can find," Octavia called up to the girls, "That's better than nothing. If we can find some tree branches and sharpen then, they could be spears for hunting." Evie called out as it was an idea, but it could work if the branches were thick enough to not break. "There's animals out there, we saw a deer yesterday." She told the two girls as she wanted to give as many people hope as she could, animals meant food and yes, they'd have to learn how to hunt and throw a spear or knife. But people had to be willing to do whatever it took now, right?

One thing she was sure about, she wasn't letting anyone but her sister near the medical kit. She'd hopefully have needles and scalpels which could easily become a weapon in the wrong hands, she wasn't going to be the reason that someone was seriously hurt or maybe than killed. Although she really hoped no fights would be breaking out, once they all turn on each other than they wouldn't be a group anymore. It would be everyone for themselves and that isn't how they were going to survive this, they were a term and needed to stick together.

Clarke stared at Wells for a long time after he had managed to kill the panther and she couldn't help but to frown. "You just wasted three bullets, Wells," she told him after a long moment, not understanding why the boy had gone and stolen the gun in the first place. Though she wasn't sure if Bellamy had ever fired the gun before, she was certain he probably would have had better luck than Wells had. Shaking her head, she turned her attention back to Jasper. "He's not bleeding," Finn mentioned as he stared at the boy's chest, only for Clarke to wipe away something that was on Jasper's skin. She stared with surprise at the gash that was there, but, Finn was right, there wasn't any new blood. "They cauterized it," she mentioned after a long moment, seeing how the skin looked burnt. It didn't make much sense to Finn, but he went ahead to finish untying Jasper before helping the boy down. He was pretty much passed out and Finn hoped that it didn't mean that he would die any time soon. "Why would they cauterize it when they were the ones who speared him and left him up for live bait?" Finn asked, not understanding the entire thing. Was whoever was here just sadistic or something along the lines of that?

Shaking his head, once he was on the ground, he shifted to try to carry Jasper, only he couldn't do it on his own. "Some help, maybe?" he called, only for Wells to step up, "Preferably not you. No offense, but you do have that limp still and you limping while helping to carry Jasper would just make the progress slower than it already will be." Thankfully, Wells didn't take offense to it and simply nodded before stepping back.
"Looks like our little mission is accomplished, then," Aria announced as she started climbing back down the ladder. "We'll tell the others about the tents and weapons later, when everybody gets back, so that we can see how many tents and makeshift tents can be used, and see who's willing to share. As for the weapons, we'll have to figure out who's trustworthy enough to handle a weapon without them going off and killing one of our own." Their only way of survival was to rely on each other, in the end - it wasn't something that Aria was fond of, relying on people aside from her sister, but she would do so if it meant that she and her sister survived Earth. It was necessary here, especially when they all had to work together. Hearing her sister mention a deer, though, she blinked and stared at her for a long moment. "A deer?" she repeated before she grinned. "That's great! I wonder what other animals are here, because we'll definitely need the meat that they provide to survive." Maybe even their fur to keep warm, but she didn't want to add that to her statement, because she wasn't sure if anybody knew how to make fur into blankets or anything.

It seemed that everything was coming together and she couldn't be happier with it. Not only had they found a medical box, things that they could use as weapons, and tents and tarps for shelter, but there were also animals there. There was hope even more so now that, if animals could survive there, then so could they. It was great news, in her opinion, and it would make it easier to be optimistic about living here. "We'll definitely have to tell the others about the deer once we decide who should handle weaponry."

Bellamy had been staring at the dead panther, it was bigger than he imagined it would be. His attention was captured by Finn and he walked over and helped him carry Jasper, "What about the panther? We could take it back to camp for food," He suggested although it could slow them down, considering they'd all have to share the load. Jasper wouldn't be waking up anytime soon and the panther would become heavy, especially for Clarke and Wells. Maybe he should have made more people come with them, but it was too late for that now. He was actually glad that Wells used up the bullets, that panther had been ready to lunge at him and that would only cause him death. But he still didn't want to leave the panther there, he didn't know when they'd find food again and if no one could actually hunt then they wouldn't be eating for a longer time. They'd have to learn how to hunt and who knows how that could take, he glanced around at them. "He's right, but it'll be a struggle to carry both the panther and Jasper." Clarke agreed as she didn't want to miss this chance to take food back to the crash site, "We'll take the panther." Wells stated firmly as he took his jacket off and got Clarke to help him with putting the big animal in his jacket, so it was easier to carrier.

Bellamy watched them and knew they'd have to work together if they wanted to get back as soon as possible, he let Clarke and Wells head off first as they also didn't want to be there when the person who attacked Jasper returned. They had a slow but steady pace, a few times he even carried Jasper on his own so Finn could help Wells in carrying the panther. They were actually making a lot of ground as they helped each other, it made Bellamy see that even though he wanted to be the leader. There were always going to be people around that would help him, if he ever needed it.
Evie smiled and nodded, "We'll still need to be able to catch a animal which we need weapons for. But I'm sure once everyone is back, we can talk to them and see what they think about weapons and how to make them." She said as she didn't have the first clue on how to make a weapon, but that didn't mean she wouldn't be trying because she would. "I know someone who shouldn't be given a weapon and that's Murphy, I'm sorry but I don't trust him." She said knowing that she was judging him without knowing him, she hated people judging her but in her opinion this was different. Murphy was someone who was mean deep down into his bones, that was just how he was and Evie wouldn't be comfortable if he was allowed to have a weapon on him. Especially if her sister and herself were his main targets in the group, but they'd have to wait until Bellamy returned as he seemed to have made him the leader. She didn't really like that as Aria would have made a better leader, at least in Evie's eyes. She knew Aria was more kind and caring, she'd give everybody a fair go but she'd have to see what Bellamy does before she says anything.

"I hope they aren't much longer, I don't know what kind of condition Jasper would be in." She also wanted to see Finn again, just to make sure he was alright. Not because he was attractive and was able to make her smile, no it was just to make sure nothing had happened to him. She had also seen the limp Wells had when he left with the group, she would ask him if he wanted her to check it for him and possibly wrap the area so it had support and less swelling could happen.

Finn was careful, both with helping to carry Jasper and the panther back. The hardest part was getting across the lake without the serpent getting to any of them, but they managed to, thankfully. From there, he was sure the rest of the trip back would be pretty easy - as long as they didn't run into whoever it was who had thrown the spear in the first place. Sure, they could have been lucky enough to get across the lake and get to Jasper, but there wasn't always the possibility that they would be lucky enough to make it back to the crash site with both Jasper and a panther. Regardless, they could try and they were trying - and, more importantly, they were all doing it together, which made it a bit easier. "Hopefully, we'll get back to the crash site soon. We wouldn't want the panther's meat to go back," he mentioned casually. Honestly, he was more so worried about getting Jasper back before the guy could die, but he didn't want to say that out loud, not when they were trying so hard to get him back in one piece to save him.

Thankfully, though, it didn't take too long to get close enough to the crash site that they could hear others still talking. Sighing in relief, he was a little glad for the realization that they were back safely - or, almost back, anyways. The crash site still wasn't in sight, but he could hear the others and that was a good enough sign, in his opinion.
"We can probably use rocks to make the weapons. Smooth ones, probably. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like it would work, maybe," Aria offered as a suggestion, though, as she said, she wasn't sure. She hadn't really thought that far ahead, honestly, because she was consumed with thoughts of making sure that they had what they needed, not how to really make them. Still, it was a start and that was all that they really needed, in her opinion. She laughed, though, at her mention of Murphy and nodded her agreement. "Yeah, he's a bit over-the-top, isn't he?" she asked before she sighed and shook her head. "I don't think very many people trust him, not that he deserves any trust, anyways. I don't think he really cares about the group surviving, honestly, just himself." Of course, there were probably others in the group like that, but he was the one that stuck out the most, that made it the most obvious. It was really frustrating to see somebody be such a jerk, honestly.

Nodding to her sister's words, she reached over and gave her hand a squeeze. "I'm sure he's okay," she assured her quietly. "And I'm sure Finn's okay, too," she teased her sister, smirking slightly as she nudged her. Sure, she wasn't sure if her sister actually liked Finn, but it was still fun teasing her sister over the matter, especially when there wasn't really the opportunity to do so on the Ark.

Bellamy knew that if they truly started to struggle with carrying both Jasper and the panther, then the panther would have to go first. He really hoped it didn't come to that, "We will. It's not too far now," He didn't need them starting to lose hope or become too tired, although he knew all of them were tired and worn out. But they needed to keep going, they could rest once they arrive back at the crash site. People could be heard and he felt like calling out for some help, but he didn't because he wanted to walk into the crash site knowing they had done it all themselves. Sort of like heroes, it was selfish for him to have that thought but he couldn't help himself. "We can make it, guys. You've come this far already, we aren't going to stop." He encouraged them the best he could, he sighed in relief when they walked a bit more and the drop ship came into their view. He gave the last little bit all he had as he carried Jasper with Finn's help, as they turned to walk into the crash site he smiled when he heard cheering.

"Jasper," Monty grinned as he ran over to his best friend and followed closely behind as Bellamy and Finn carried him into the drop ship, Clarke and Wells dropped the heavy panther which only caused the cheers to become louder. Now all they had to do was start a fire and cook the meat, they also had to cut the meat from the bones. But Bellamy would find someone who was willing to do that if it meant they would be getting fed, as Bellamy walked up the ramp with Finn he saw his sister was standing with the twins.
Evie nodded her head, "That makes sense. If we find some rocks, we could also start a fire." She said knowing that if they did start hunting and actually brought an animal back, a fire would be needed to cook the meat before they could eat. A fire would also keep them warm, in case the nights became cold which she hoped it didn't. The cold would only be a bad thing for them, tents would help but if it was cold then they'd all get cold. "I reckon people still do trust him, or they act like that because they don't want to be on his bad side." Octavia put in even though she felt a little out of place, now she knew how other's felt when she was around her brother. Although both the twins seemed to agree with her on Murphy, Evie turned to look at her sister. "I'm sure Finn is okay too," She tried to act like she wasn't worried about Finn, but she could feel her cheeks becoming warm from a blush at just his name.

"Bellamy," Octavia smiled when she saw her brother arrive back with Jasper, Evie turned to look and first her eyes landed on Finn. She sent him a smile before she realised what she was doing and turned her attention onto Jasper, "Lay him down here." She told them as she pointed to the floor of the drop ship, it was better than nothing and it would give Evie privacy to make sure Jasper's wound was tended to. She knelt down beside Jasper and looked over his wound, she frowned when she saw that someone had already taken care of it. But she made sure it was clean and placed a bandage over it, she didn't want the wound to become infected.

Finn was surprised with Bellamy's encouragement, but he figured it was probably more so due to the panther meat than it was for Jasper's sake. Personally, Finn couldn't imagine Bellamy caring about anybody other than his sister, especially when Jasper hadn't exactly been eager to fall in line with the others who seemed to deem Bellamy as their leader. Regardless, he grinned when they got to the drop ship, his eyes landing on Evie almost automatically. "See? We brought him back," he said, hoping that they had gotten Jasper back in time. Following her instructions, he was careful to set Jasper down and watched as she looked over the boy. Hopefully, Jasper was okay enough that he would live through this, but he was sure that, if he did, he would have a while to get over the mental pain that it probably all caused - that might even take longer to get over than the actual pain that the boy seemed to be in. Finn couldn't help but feel bad for the poor guy.

"If you need anything, any help or whatever, just say so," he told Evie seriously, wondering if she could help Jasper at all. He was sure that she had some medical skills - otherwise, she wouldn't have jumped at helping Jasper so quickly - but he was worried that they may have gotten to Jasper too late. Of course, any later and Jasper would have probably been panther food, instead of the panther having become their food instead.
Aria nodded her agreement to Octavia, offering a smile. "Yeah, that makes sense. He's clearly somebody that people don't want to be on the bad side of," she offered in response, though she knew that she and her sister were already on Murphy's bad side. Glancing over at her sister, she smirked slightly at seeing the cheek on her sister's features. Nudging her gently, she grinned. "You don't have to hide things from me," she reminded quietly, though she knew that the blush didn't necessarily mean that her sister had a crush on Finn. Still, she wanted her sister to know that they didn't have to keep secrets; they never had before, so there was no reason to start now. Looking up, she saw that the others had returned, not only with Jasper but with a panther as well and she couldn't help but wonder how they managed to kill a panther. Then, she remembered that Bellamy had mentioned a gun before the group left and she shook the question from her head.

She moved out of the way to let the others in and stayed out of her sister's way while she looked Jasper over. She wasn't medically inclined, so she didn't want to crowd her sister while she observed Jasper, nor did she want to get in the way at all. So, she resigned to staying nearby, but not so close that she was in any personal space. "Is he okay, Evie?" she asked after a few moments passed, because Evie had been right when she mentioned how pale Jasper had gone before, he almost looked like a ghost to Aria now, but she hoped that didn't mean he was nearly dead.

Bellamy didn't want to stand around and watch what was going on, so he turned around and walked back down the ramp. He smiled when everyone cheered when they saw him, "We need wood and a stone." He called out as they needed to start cooking the panther before the meat started to go bad, if they waited too long to cook the animal then it would be a waste of them carrying it back all that way. He watched as a few people ran off so they could bring back wood and a stone, at least most of them were listening to be much easier now. This is what he needed them to do, to listen to him and do whatever he said. However, as he looked at the panther he didn't have the first clue where to start with it. But he didn't need to worry, as a good group of different people gathered around and started taking care of the panther themselves. He sighed in relief when he wouldn't have to actually do anything with the body of the animal, even when people started being back wood and a stone that would do just fine. He knelt on the ground and begin to make a fire, it took him a few minutes but he managed to make a fire in which he put more wood onto it.

"Whenever you're ready," He told the group that were taking care of the panther, he stepped back and only noticed then that Octavia had come out of the drop ship. He stood there and just watched the group, he really hadn't had any hope in anyone in the group apart from his sister. Honestly, he didn't think they'd survive the landing or stepping foot onto the land for the first time. But apparently he was wrong and now he had all these people to lead, he had to make sure they weren't afraid otherwise he wasn't going a good job at being a leader. If that was the case then it would be easy for Clarke or even Aria to take over from him.
"I will, thank you." Evie looked up at Finn when he offered that he would help, "Maybe you could keep him back a little?" She asked when Monty started looking over her shoulder, something that she always hated people doing. She continued to look at Jasper's wound and only touched the skin around the area, she had nothing to clean her hands and she wasn't going to risk Jasper getting an infection. She checked his pulse which was surprisingly steady, "He's going to be just fine. But we should really get water here, he'll need it. I'm not sure how much blood he lost, he'll be a little weak for the next couple of days." She explained to her sister, Monty and Finn who were the only ones left in the drop ship with her and Jasper. She took her jacket off and rolled it up so Jasper would have a cushion for his head, they hadn't made pillows yet so her rolled up jacket would have to do for now.

She covered Jasper with a blanket that Octavia had found earlier, there weren't enough blankets for everyone but right now only Jasper needed one. She stayed by his side as she looked at the covering that Clarke had brought back with her, apparently it was covering Jasper's wound. She noticed there were a plant like substance that had been in contact with Jasper's wound. She would have to work out what it was later on, but for now she was more concerned with keeping a close eye on Jasper.

Finn nodded slightly to Evie's words, letting out a sigh. "I can head back to get some water, if we can find something to keep it in. I can even take a few people with me to get enough for a few days," he said after a few moments. Of course, he knew that he'd have to be careful because of the serpent, but he hoped there wouldn't be any problem there. They had already gotten by the serpent once, he could be quick enough to get some water and come back. Looking to Monty, he moved to rest a hand on Monty's shoulder. "How about you go stand guard to make sure nobody comes in to get in the way?" he suggested to Monty, hoping that, if the boy had some way to help, then he wouldn't hover over Evie while she worked. It seemed to work, thankfully, because Monty nodded, took a glance at Jasper, then rushed to the ramp, looking out at everybody. Finn eyed Monty for a moment before turning his attention back to Evie. "Should I try to go find something to get the water with?" he asked with curiosity, only to blink with surprise when Aria offered to go find something instead. He didn't mind, so he nodded and figured he'd wait until she brought something back, then he could go get some water.

Turning his attention to Evie, he watched her for a moment, surprised with everything that she was doing. "So, are you good with all of this medical knowledge?" he asked with curiosity as he moved over. He still stayed back a bit, but he wanted to keep an eye on both Jasper and Evie, especially since he wasn't sure if Jasper would make it or not. If he didn't, he couldn't imagine how traumatized Evie would be after trying to help, so he wanted to be close in case anything happened.
Aria watched the entire thing quietly, a little worried that making noise might distract her sister. She had faith in her sister's skills, so she wasn't too worried about Jasper at the moment. As long as he wasn't bleeding internally and he didn't have an infection, everything should be fine, she decided. Hearing Finn mention that he needed to find something to get water with, she took this as a chance to volunteer to do something - both because she didn't really want to be close if something bad happened and she wanted to give her sister a little time to spend with Finn, even if she still wasn't sure if Evie liked Finn at all or not. "I'll go find something," she assured before she moved to the ladder to climb up, figuring that it would be better to check the drop ship than it would be to check outside. She started with the top floor, planning to work her way down, like she had planned to do before.

Looking around, she found a few things, which was probably a good thing if Finn planned to have others go with him. There were a few buckets, though they were fairly dusty - they'd probably need to clean the buckets out first before they could use them to bring water back, but they could do that while they got water, so it wasn't too much of a problem. Grabbing the buckets, she dropped them down the hole where the ladder was.

Bellamy made sure that Octavia was fine before he turned around so he could check on how things were going, he decided to give Monty a little pat on the back as he walked into the drop ship. Monty didn't say anything as he walked in, he saw Jasper still hadn't woken up and the Palmer twin was busy with Finn. He looked around for Aria although he didn't see her, he did however notice the stern look that he received from her younger sister. Then he heard a noise from above them, so he climbed up the ladder until he found Aria looking around the ship. "Do you know how scary your sister can be? I swear if looks could kill, then I'd be gone already." He mentioned to her as he had seen the buckets before he had climbed up the ladder, "What are you looking for?" He asked as he wanted to know what was going on, he needed to know what everyone was doing. If someone wanted to go out for food or to explore, than he needed to know so he could stay on top of everything like a leader would.

He assumed that they were going to find water with the buckets that he had seen, "If someone if going out. Then I'll have some people go as well, the more people the better right?" He offered as he wasn't sure who was heading out or planning to, if it was Aria then she wouldn't be going on her own. He'd make sure that she wasn't on her own if she ever went out, now that they knew about the dangerous person that was out there. He wasn't really comfortable with anyone going away from the crash site alone.
Evie looked at Finn and smiled at him, "Thank you," She felt much better now that Monty had a task and it wasn't hovering over her, she could understand how worried and concerned Monty was but she still needed space to work. She looked at him once Monty had gone to stand guard on the ramp, "You aren't going out there alone. You shouldn't be going out again, Finn. You've been going non-stop and haven't even eaten yet, Aria found some blueberries yesterday and you need to eat some." She told him as she knew he just wanted to help, but he was going to push himself too far one of these days and it would happen shortly. She bit down onto her bottom lip as she looked at him, "I really hope that I'm good. My Dad started teaching me early, I was always pretending to be a doctor and Aria was my patient." She smiled as she remembered the memory.

"Look at this..." She showed him the covering that had protected Jasper's wound, "It's a plant. At least I'm pretty sure, if I had to guess I'd say it was seaweed. He stopped Jasper's wound from getting infected, I saw some at the lake. This is medicine, Finn." She told him and was so proud that she was making a different already, if anyone did get sick or hurt then at least this seaweed could help her in treating them. She looked over at Bellamy when she heard footsteps, she didn't even know that she was giving him a look. Although the look on her face vanished when she turned back to look at Finn, she usually would go tell her sister what she had told him.

"You're welcome," Finn told her with a smile, though when he heard her telling him that he shouldn't go out again, he fell silent, unsure of how to respond to her words. It was easy to tell that she seemed to be a little worried about him and he supposed it was expected, considering he hadn't relaxed since everything happened to Jasper earlier. After a few moments, he nodded slowly. "Then I'll stay here. We still need somebody to go out and get water, though," he told her quietly, knowing that it was necessary, not just for Jasper, though that was the most important right now, but also for the rest of the group. The last thing they needed was people getting sick or worse because of lack of nutrients or liquid. "Where are the blueberries at?" Because, he supposed, even though it probably wasn't much, it was still necessary to eat - at least until the panther was cooked. He smiled, though, at hearing her mention how her dad taught her and how she pretended to be a doctor with her sister as a patient. "I'm sure that will come in handy here, then," he murmured.

When she mentioned the plant, he stepped forward to get a better look at it, nodding slowly. "Whoever goes out to get the water should get some of that seaweed, too, then," he told her, figuring that she probably wasn't going to let him go out this time, anyways. They'd have to show the plant to whoever went out and everything, but at least it would get done. Arching an eyebrow when he noticed the look she gave Bellamy, he couldn't help but to laugh, even though he had barely seen it. "What was that for?" he asked with amusement.
Aria blinked with surprise and looked over at Bellamy. Though she had heard somebody coming up the ladder, she had expected it to be Evie, so seeing Bellamy instead caught her off guard. "She gave you a look?" she asked, blinking slowly, though she was a little amused with it. She figured either Evie didn't trust Bellamy or Evie thought that Aria had a thing for Bellamy, which would naturally put Evie's protective instincts into overdrive. Evie was always protective like that and Aria loved her sister for it. "Yeah, she can be pretty scary when she wants to be. Sometimes, even when she doesn't want to be." She grinned, then, and lifted her shoulders in a shrug, figuring there was no reason to worry about the look her sister had given Bellamy; she just wished that she had gotten a chance to see it, because she would have definitely burst out laughing. "I'm just looking for anything that can be used to gather water. Evie needs it for Jasper and I'm pretty sure we could all use it if we don't want to dehydrate."

Seeing that there didn't seem to be any more buckets that could be found on this floor, she blinked at hearing Bellamy mention that having others go out as well. "Finn said that he was going to go, but he really should probably rest. I mean, their group ran all the way here, then he went out again. I'm not even sure if any of them besides my sister has eaten." And, even then, her sister hadn't eaten too much. It had only been blueberries, after all, and her sister hadn't taken as much as she could have. "I'll probably go. That way, I don't get in Evie's way and so that I'm still doing something to help."

Bellamy didn't even know what he had done to get a look like that from the other Palmer twin, well he was spending more time with her sister than he ever thought he would. So that was probably the reason, but it was a look that could probably even warn someone like Murphy away from the twins. "I think she wanted to be scary this time," He shook his head a little as he wouldn't forget the look anytime soon, he didn't want to see what the younger twin was like when she was actually angry about something or if anything happened to her sister. That would be more than scary and he would stay out of her way if that ever did happen. He nodded as he did agree that they would need water and they'd need it soon, not just for Jasper who would need it more, but everyone else haven't had anything to drink since they were on the Ark and that was a while ago now. "I'm sure your sister will give them some blueberries, but if you're going out there then I'll come with you." He told her as she didn't know where the lake was.

Wells and Clarke both needed to rest and only he knew were the lake was, it was much easier for him to go then for Clarke to give the map to another group of people and hope that they find the lake without getting lost. It was a big forest and would probably be easy to get lost in, "I doubt you'd ever get in your sister's way." Being a twin seemed different to him than the relationship he had with his sister, he and Octavia still argued although they were never mad at each other for long. It was usually because he was so protective of Octavia and she didn't always understand why, "I'll get some people to join us. We won't be able to carry a lot of water back, if it is just us." It was true, water would become heavy very quickly for them as they walked.
Evie felt relief wash over her when Finn told her that he would be staying there, she wasn't sure where the emotions she was feeling were coming from. She liked Finn already, but was she beginning to like him more than a friend? She had no idea and would have to talk about it with Aria, she's never felt like this before. She had dated a guy on the Ark before but she never felt like this, it was confusing the hell out of her. "We'll find someone to go collect water and the seaweed, she hadn't even remembered seeing the seaweed until now but she was glad that she did remember as it could help her a lot. Standing up she found Aria's backpack and handed it to Finn so he could eat some blueberries, she'd have to go find Clarke soon so she could also eat some of the berries. "I should be the one getting water, the serpent and I are pretty close now." She smiled although she doubted she'd be going to that lake anytime soon after what happened.

She hoped that she could come in handy, she wasn't sure how much Clarke actually knew from her mother. She had never seen her hanging around Abby when she was working, unlike Evie was with her Dad and sometimes she'd learn things from Abby as well but it was mostly her Dad. She looked at Finn and shrugged her shoulders a little, "He seems to be spending time with my sister. I just wanted to make sure he knew that he wasn't allowed to try anything," She told him as she didn't really like Bellamy being around her sister, she also didn't know how Aria felt about him which she'd have to ask about later.

Finn nodded to her decision, figuring that it was best. "We'll have to make sure to tell them what it looks like, too. And, to get plenty of it, because I'm sure we'll need it the longer we live here," he said honestly. If there were others out there, then there was an obvious danger to them - and that meant that they would need anything medically-related that they could possibly find, be it herbs or plants or medicine. He thanked her when she handed him the blueberries and started eating them slowly, wanting to take his time so that he could relax all the more. When she mentioned going to the water, though, he stared at her blankly. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure the serpent wants to eat you," he joked lightly, though he was pretty sure that he was right. Honestly, he didn't want her to take the chance with it, but he knew that she wouldn't anyways, considering she was busy taking care of Jasper. Besides, as far as he was aware, she didn't really seem reckless. And she didn't seem like she had a death wish, either.

Once he finished the blueberries, much quicker than he had really intended, he listened to her quietly, though he was a little amused. "Am I going to get a look like that from your sister for spending so much time with you?" he asked, though he was joking. But, then, now that he had asked it, he was a little curious about it. He was pretty sure both of the twins were incredibly close and protective of each other, after all, so it wouldn't necessarily surprise him, nor would he really be offended by it.
Aria grinned in response, because she remembered the looks that she gave people when she did want to be scary. And, if that was the same look that she gave Bellamy, she was surprised the guy wasn't running for the hills. "Yeah, she can be really scary when she wants to be," she hummed out, clearly amused with the entire thing. She couldn't help it, though - the thought of her sister giving a scary look to Bellamy was priceless. Blinking when he mentioned that he was going to go out with her, she stared at him for a long moment. "Well, if Evie's already giving you scary looks, I can only imagine the look she's going to give you when she finds out you're coming along," she pointed out casually. But, she could understand why he was offering to go, since Wells had a limp and Finn and Clarke had been doing so much the entire day. There was Monty, of course, but she doubted that he would leave Jasper and her sister was busy taking care of Jasper. And, well, Jasper couldn't really do anything right now.

Moving to the ladder, she was about to go down, but smiled to his words and shrugged. "I'm no good with medical things. Evie took after our Dad and I guess I kind of took after our Mom. So, yeah, I'd probably get in my sister's way," she said honestly, knowing that all she would be able to do was hover and she knew her sister didn't like it when people hovered while she was trying to work - not that she could blame her. Their Dad was the same way, honestly. "Just... Don't get Murphy unless you absolutely have to," she told him before she started climbing down the ladder.

Bellamy hadn't really thought about that, he assumed that he would be getting a lot more stern looks and glares from Evie. He only admitted to himself that he actually did enjoy his time that he was spending with Aria, so he didn't see why he would stop. "I think I'm big enough to deal with some looks, no matter how scary your sister can be. Besides she seems to have taken a liking to someone else, I doubt she'd have any time to glare at me." He told her as he had noticed Finn seemed to be spending time with her, not that he cared but at least the Palmer twins had some people who didn't hate them. Although right now there were more people who did hate them or just really didn't like them, he had been one of those people but then he talked to Aria and found out that she wasn't as bad as what everyone said. He felt bad for listening to those people who had said horrible things about the twins and their parents, it seemed petty now that people on the Ark had spoken so strongly about the Palmer family because now he had to trust them. Everyone on Earth had to trust them, if Evie was good with medical things then people who have to let her treat them and Aria was smart. People would eventually have to start listening to what she said.

He remembered that Mrs. Palmer had once had a seat on the council, she was a leader and if Aria took after her then the group would survive this. "Wait, so you're going to be bossy now?" He grinned as he was only teasing her, however he wouldn't really mind if she was bossy. Sometimes being bossy could get respect from others and could get things done quickly, he wouldn't say that he was ever bossy as he hadn't been raised in that way. Although he could order someone to do something, that was honestly about it. He waited until Aria had climbed down the ladder before he followed her down, "Don't worry. I wouldn't dream of asking Murphy to come with us, I'll ask a few of the other guys." He assured her as he wouldn't warn Murphy away from the twins, only to invite him along to get water.
Evie nodded her head lightly, "I didn't see how much seaweed there was. But I'm hoping there's an decent amount growing, but they should only collect some if it's safe to get that close to the water." She didn't want anyone else coming that close to the giant serpent as she had, no matter who it was as they would all have a place in the group. Jasper could have come so close to dying, they had already lost two during the crash landing. She didn't want to lose anyone else, but if there were people out there and were already attacking them. Then she had a bad feeling in gut, she knew the feeling meant that it could be easy for them to die. The spear that hit Jasper had come out from the top of the trees and the strength that the person had was incredible, whoever was out there knew how to fight and that scared Evie more than anything.

She looked at Finn and couldn't help but smile at his question, "That could very well happen. Probably will at least a handful of times," She told him as Aria was just as protective over her as she was of her sister, it came from being twins and just being together non-stop. Growing up and even up until they were shoved into the drop ship, their parents had been busy so they stuck together and had their own fun. It also didn't help that they hadn't made any other friends on the Ark, although Evie was positive that Aria would like Finn, Jasper and Monty. She did and they treated her like another person, like one of them.

Finn nodded to her words, shifting to lean against the wall of the drop ship, eyeing her carefully. "Even if there's not a lot right now, I'm sure more will grow as time passes. We don't need too much right now, just enough to be prepared and use for Jasper to make sure it doesn't get infected," he offered. As long as the seaweed wasn't too far into the lake, then there shouldn't be too much of a problem. He wasn't sure how things would turn out, of course, since whoever went would already have to get water, so there was the chance of the serpent already coming after them regardless. It didn't settle well with him and he hoped that nothing bad happened. Maybe they would get lucky, whoever it was who went to get the water and seaweed, and everything would turn out okay. So far, luck had been on their side, he thought. Jasper was still alive, after all. He had gotten speared, sure, and there was the possibility that they might have more run-ins with whoever had thrown the spear, but Jasper was safe and they had meat from the panther and other things that they needed.

When she mentioned that he might get looks like the one she had given Bellamy from Aria, he laughed and nodded slightly. "Yeah, I'll have to keep that in mind," he said with amusement. "Just remind me not to laugh if she ever gives me a look like that. I mean, I know she wants to protect you, but I can't help but think it would be amusing to get a glare like the one you sent towards Bellamy from her." It was true, mostly because it was so hard to imagine either of the girls actually fighting anybody for the other's sake - he knew it may very well happen here, but just imagining somebody getting beat up by one of the twins was amusing to him. "I'm actually a little interested to see either of you actually beat somebody up, honestly. I know you said you broke somebody's nose, but I really wish I could have seen it."
"So, I'm not the only one who's noticed those two?" Aria asked with amusement, rather surprised to hear that Bellamy had noticed that Evie had seemed to have taken a liking to Finn. From what her sister said, though, he was a good guy, so she wasn't too worried. That didn't mean that she would just let him do as he pleased around her sister, though. She stayed quiet after that, until they were down on the bottom floor and she moved to grab some of the buckets that she had dropped, glancing over at her sister and Finn. They seemed to be getting along, and, now that she thought about it, she wasn't entirely sure if that was such a good thing. She didn't want her sister getting hurt by Finn after all. No matter how good a guy might seem to be, that didn't really mean that he actually was good. Part of her hoped that it wouldn't come to that, that Finn wouldn't dare hurt her sister, but the other part hoped that she could manage to prevent her sister from getting hurt at all.

Hearing Bellamy ask if she was going to be bossy, she gaped at him. "I'm not bossy," she said quickly, rolling her eyes. "For you to even suggest that I would become bossy, I'm figuring you're a little worried about a girl bossing you around. Maybe I should be bossy in that case." She smirked slightly, more out of amusement than out of seriousness, but she shrugged and made her way over to her sister. She was relieved to hear that he wouldn't ask Murphy to come along and reminded herself to thank him later for that - the last person she wanted to ever really deal with or be bothered by was Murphy. "How's Jasper looking?" she asked her sister before gesturing towards Bellamy. "Bellamy and I are going to round up a few people and go get some water."

Evie knew Finn was right about the seaweed, if it had grown in the water than it should continue to grow as long as some was still left there. "As long as the seaweed isn't too far from the waters edge, of course." She would find another way for keep Jasper's possible infection away, if the seaweed was too far away of course. She smiled shaking her head a little, "I wouldn't laugh if I was you. She doesn't like to be laughed at when she's trying to be serious," It was something that their Mom always hated when people did, she felt like people weren't taking her seriously or they weren't listening to her. Their Mom always had a voice and had good ideas, but when she was kicked off the council, they had also taken that voice away from her. "That's something that hopefully won't be happening, I only broke his nose because I knew where to punch him. But it really hurt me hand and I did feel bad afterwards, neither of us are violent people." She told him as Aria had never gotten into a physical fight and she had only punched that one boy, their parents had raised them well and taught them to be the bigger people and to walk away from a possible fight.

She looked over when her sister and Bellamy climbed down the ladder, "Jasper is looking really good." She told Aria and then glanced over at Bellamy when she was told that he was going with Aria, Evie wanted to tell Aria not to go but that wouldn't work. It was also unfair considering Evie had gone off yesterday, so she bit their tongue and kept the complaint to herself. "Be careful, if you see any close by, can you pick some seaweed for me? It was covering Jasper's wound, it's a plant underneath the water and will be a dark red colour." She told her sister as she knew she'd get the plant for her, "But only if it's close. Otherwise, don't worry." She told Aria as she wanted her sister to be extremely safe and to come back without being hurt.
Bellamy took the empty buckets and headed out of the drop ship, figuring the twins would want to have a moment before they headed out to find water. He walked down the ramp which Monty had sat down on, but was still guarding. He looked around until his eyes landed on a three guys that he sort of trusted, he waved them over. "We're going to find water, Aria is coming with us so we'll be leaving in a few seconds." He told them once the three of them had walked over to Bellamy, although he hadn't known that Octavia had been close by and heard. "I'm coming with you, Bell." She told him in a way that meant that he wasn't going to argue with her, there were only a few times when she spoke to him in that way and he still didn't like it. He also didn't appreciate her speaking to him like that in front of other's, when they were alone then he could deal it better than he was right now. But he stopped himself from saying anything to her, that could come across as rude.

"You can only come with us, if you promise to be careful." He told her as it was the only way that she was going to be allowed, although it was going to be harder for him to control what his sister did now. Actually he didn't really have any control over Octavia anymore, she could do what she wanted and whenever she wanted now. He had her to look after but he also had to control the whole group, he doubted that he'd be able to do both constantly. One of them would have to take a back seat and he didn't know what he was going to do, hopefully that wouldn't happen anytime soon.

Finn wasn't sure how close the seaweed had been to the edge of the water, honestly, but he hoped, like he was certain that she was hoping, that it wasn't too far away because he, like her, didn't want anybody to get hurt just to get some seaweed. Gaping at her, though, he laughed. "Yeah, I'll try not to laugh," he promised, though he wasn't sure how well he would be able to keep the promise. He figured it would be in his best interest to, if he wanted to continue hanging out with Evie without her sister being around them all the time - because he was sure that, if he laughed at any look that Aria gave him, she'd probably stick to Evie even more so like glue than before. "You won't have to fight down here, I'm sure," he told her quietly, offering a subtle nod and a small smile. "If anybody tries to bother you, just come to me and I'll handle it." He didn't think he would use violence unless it was necessary, of course, but would handle it because he didn't want Evie to feel like she didn't belong there. She belonged with the group just as much as anybody and everybody else.

He listened quietly to the twins' conversation, not wanting to get in the way of it or to interrupt it at all. When he heard Aria speak to him and saw the look she gave him, he nodded subtly. "Of course," he told her, trying to be as polite as he could manage. The moment she walked off the drop ship, though, he grinned over at Evie. "At least she seems to think I'm capable of taking care of you," he joked lightly before he moved to sit down, resting his head back against the metal wall as he tried to relax.
Aria honestly felt relieved to hear that Jasper was doing good. Even though she hadn't gotten a chance to know him yet, she was sure he was a good guy. On the Ark, she was certain that he was one of the few who hadn't ever really said anything bad about her sister or herself, so she didn't have anything against him. "That's great," she murmured, nodding slowly. It was clear that her sister wanted to keep the boy alive, too, and she wasn't sure if it was because of her sister's natural instinct that came from their Dad or if it was because he had become a friend of her sister's. Of course, she knew that her sister would do whatever it took to save any of them, if she could, but friends were important. Hearing her ask for the seaweed, Aria nodded. "Yeah, I can get some," she assured with a grin, "I'll get as much as I can, alright?" Because she was pretty sure that seaweed wouldn't be too hard to grab, even if it wasn't too close; she wanted to make sure her sister had whatever she needed.

Moving over, she wrapped her arms around Evie in a tight hug. "I'll be back before sunset," she promised quietly before she pulled away and looked over at Finn. "Keep an eye on my sister and don't let the others try to bother her. If something happens, it's your head," she chimed, her voice entirely pleasant, despite the look she gave him. With a smile, she turned back to her sister. "Try not to stress yourself while I'm gone," she whispered before she made her way off of the drop ship.

Bellamy had handed the buckets over to the other guys and glanced over his shoulder when he heard footsteps on the metal ramp, seeing Aria walk down towards them, he knew they needed to head out now if they wanted to return during the day. "Let's go," He said to the small group before he started leading the way away from the crash site, he knew they'd probably take a little longer considering none of the group apart from him, had been this far away from the drop ship. It was a lot to take in and there was a lot for them to look at, even Bellamy let his eyes wander a little at everything that he didn't have time to look at before. Last time they had been so set on finding Jasper that they needed to hurry and walk as quickly as they could, they still couldn't take their time as he didn't want to get stuck out in the forest when the sky became dark. He also didn't want to be out if there were dangerous people around, or could be hiding and watching them. Just the thought of that sent a shiver down his spine, they were pretty much moving targets for now at least.

"Everyone keep close to the trees and keep watch, we're just getting water and getting back. We aren't taking a second longer than we need to," He warned the group softly as he knew how his sister could be, she'd want to stop and look at everything. But they couldn't afford that right now, the group had to come before stopping to take in their surroundings. There could be time for that later on, but only if these people stop attacking them and trying to kill them off.
Evie watched her sister walk out of the drop ship, they both knew Aria was the more level headed while Evie did tend to stress over things. Turning she walked over to Finn and sat down beside him, for right now Jasper was sable and she didn't need to do anything for him. "She does which means a lot, you should take that as a very good thing. She's never asked anyone to take care of me," She told Finn as they had always just taken care of each other, Aria didn't even know Finn and yet she had to trust him a little. Or she trusted the trust Evie had in him, she leaned back against the metal wall and closed her eyes for only a few seconds. "Although I can handle myself, but thank you. I'll keep that in mind," She told him quietly and she liked that she knew he'd be there for her, if anyone did have a go at her. Even if she did handle it, she could still tell him just so he knew. He didn't need to do anything, but she tended to bottle things inside of her instead of talking about things that happened or were just on her mind.

"They really didn't give us much to survive down here, I guess we're lucky that we lived through the landing. Well most of us," Evie told him as it was like the council didn't have much faith in them, "I mean, what happened coming down here wasn't your fault. They shouldn't have tried to show off," She turned to look at him, hoping that he didn't take what she said the wrong way. It wasn't his fault, he hadn't asked or told those two boys to unbuckle their belts. They wanted to copy Finn when they should have been smart enough to just stay in their seats.

Finn looked over to Evie when she sat down beside him, wondering if she was comfortable enough. In honesty, the floor was hard and he knew that there wasn't really any way to make it comfortable for either of them. "So, it's a very good thing that your sister asked me to take care of you, even though she gave me a warning not to let you get in trouble basically?" he asked with an arched eyebrow. He supposed that it was true, that it was a good thing that her sister trusted him enough to stick around Evie. Then again, it might not even be trust that the girl was relying on - it could just be because there wasn't really anybody else that she could ask to watch over Evie. After all, most of the camp disliked the twins and, of him, Wells, Clarke and Monty, he was probably the most capable of the ones that stuck around to keep an eye on Evie. Regardless of her reasoning, though, it at least gave him a reason to continue hanging out with Evie instead of him having to possibly make excuses over why he was hanging around still. "Yeah, I know you can handle yourself," he said with a grin, "After all, you did break somebody's nose. As long as you don't break my nose, though, we're on good terms."

Closing his eyes, he rested his head back against the metal, feeling the cool of the metal against his scalp as he relaxed. "I'm not surprised that they didn't give us much. They didn't really expect us to survive, after all. They were just buying more time for themselves," he mentioned before blinking when he heard her later words, unable to help but to cringe slightly. Turning his attention to her, he stared at her for a long moment before he let out a sigh. "I shouldn't have done it, either, though," he pointed out with a frown, "If I hadn't done it, then they wouldn't have and they would still be alive."
Aria kept up with the rest of the group, both because she felt it was expected of her and because she didn't want the others complaining about her dragging them behind. Mentally, she reminded herself of what her sister told her, that the seaweed was a dark red color. Hopefully, it would be easy to spot and easy to get to. "You know, Bellamy, if we're being watched, then they're hearing everything you're saying," she pointed out casually. She wasn't trying to undermine him, of course; she was just pointing out that he should be careful of how loud he spoke, not that he was speaking loud in the first place, but she was certain none of them wanted whoever had speared Jasper to hear any of the instructions they were being given. Aside that, she was also sure none of them wanted to be the next victims and talking too much would attract too much attention. Hopefully, Bellamy wouldn't be upset with her saying what she had, but she was merely trying to make sure that they didn't give away too much to anybody who might be following them. In honesty, it was to keep them all safe, too, so she figured he might understand.

Shrugging the thought aside, she kept her attention ahead, trying to focus on the task at hand. Now that they knew that there was danger out here, people who could easily kill them whenever they wanted to, she just couldn't bring herself to take in the beauty around her. Every tree was now a trap or a hiding place, every boulder or fallen log was a fort of sorts. It was all either used for their favor or against them, and she wasn't sure that there was any way to stay completely safe out here.

Bellamy knew that Aria was right, did she had to say it in front of the group, probably not but she did and it was over with now. Even if they stayed close to the trees, they wouldn't have full protection. These people or person could be opposite them or hiding in the trees, for all they knew but at least the trees still gave them some protection and coverage. "Right," He murmured mostly to himself as he doubted anyone actually heard him, his eyes continued to scan the area in front of him with every step he could. Even if they did get attacked, they couldn't even defend themselves. His gun was useless now and they hadn't made any weapons yet, he just prayed that hitting Jasper was enough for now and they could get the water safely. Although when he crossed the lake both times, no one had attacked them then and it would have been so easy to. They had been out in the out and were great targets, hopefully this person had moved on by now as all they needed was water. They weren't going to hurt anyone, but Jasper was an innocent bystander and he was still hurt. He really did hate not knowing what was out there, but at least they were able to celebrate for a few hours before being told that they weren't alone on Earth.

The group fell into silence as they walked as quietly and quickly as they could, Bellamy was leading the way and he kept a steady pace. The sooner they arrived at the lake, the better it would be for them. If they made good ground getting to the lake, then they could take a little more time getting back as he didn't want any water to be spilled. He didn't know how many trips they could make to the lake, so for now they needed all the water they could carry. "We're nearly there," He whispered down the line to let the group know, it wouldn't take them much longer at all now.
Evie guessed that it was a good thing that she had Finn there to keep an eye on her, she doubted that she'd always have her sister close to her. Like now she didn't and in Aria's eyes, that meant that anything could happen and she wouldn't know about it nor would she be there to stop it. Evie understood that but it wasn't really fair, she didn't have anyone to ask if they could keep Aria safe. There was Bellamy but Evie still wasn't sure how she felt about him, I mean they were all similar in having a sibling but he was treated so much worse than the twins. Octavia was locked up and their Mom was floated, she would have thought that Bellamy wouldn't want anything to do with them. But it seems like he at least likes Aria with the amount of time he has been spending with her, he'd also out there now with her. "That's pretty much right, though I'd have to say that I'm not a troublemaker." She smiled as she didn't really get into trouble, she had only gotten arrested once and that was the only trouble she has been in.

She shook her head lightly, "I wouldn't break your nose. You might not be as cute then, and we don't want that." She told him as she did find Finn very attractive and handsome. "They still could have given us some weapons, just in case we did survive which we have. It's like they were expecting us to die or at least fail," It was horrible to think about but it was true, the Ark only gave them buckets and a few tents. She turned her head and looked at Finn, she reached over taking his hand into her own and gave his hand a little reassuring squeeze. "You can't blame yourself for what happened, yes you shouldn't have done something so dangerous. But they could think for themselves, they didn't think and they didn't listen to Clarke. It's not your fault, they probably would have wanted to show off even if you hadn't done it first." She told him as she didn't want him to blame himself.

"Not a troublemaker, huh?" Finn asked, looking down at her with curiosity. "What are you, then?" Okay, he wasn't sure if he was more curious about learning anything that he could about her or if he was more curious about finding out what she thought of herself as. Opinions of oneself usually showed a lot about people - and he already knew that she was kind, funny and clearly as protective of her sister as her sister was of her. Plus, she was pretty, even he could admit that. (Maybe not aloud just yet, but maybe at some point, when he was sure that her sister wouldn't come at him for even just thinking it. Or, maybe, he would admit it when he had the first opportunity to, he wasn't entirely sure yet. He could figure it out later, he decided.)

He grinned, though, when she mentioned that she wouldn't break his nose. Not because she said that she wouldn't, but because she said that he wouldn't be as cute and that it wasn't wanted. Maybe that was his chance to casually mention what he thought, too, and he wasn't going to waste that opportunity now, when so much had happened and there was no telling if he would ever get the chance to say it after this. "Yeah, well, you're pretty cute yourself," he told her in a teasing tone, though he was clearly serious as he nudged her gently. "At least they gave us shelter, though. And, in a way, there are weapons. We just have to figure out a way to make them," he offered in response, mostly hoping to lift her spirits, since her father was in the medical station. Saying that those who had sent them there hadn't expected them to live was basically saying that her father didn't expect them to live and he didn't want her to think like that. Feeling her hand give his a squeeze, he glanced down, surprised with how well their hands fit together, but brought his eyes back to her and nodded slowly. "I guess you have a point there," he finally relented, figuring that there was no point in arguing with her on the topic.
Aria was a little relieved that Bellamy didn't seem to have gotten angry or upset with her words, mostly because it hadn't just been a warning for him, but for the others, too, because she was pretty sure the guys that were sent down were just as gossipy and talkative as the girls who had been sent down. If they gave away what they were doing or if they made too much noise at all, their chances of surviving the trip would go down horrendously and that was the last thing that she wanted. She wanted to be able to get back to the drop ship with the supplies and see her sister again and she refused to let any of the others ruin whatever small chance she had at being able to do that. Of course, she knew they already had a slim chance as it was. The spear that had been thrown at Jasper was probably a warning - it was probably why whoever had thrown the spear had actually bothered to heal him and had let him live, even if he did look like he was on the brink of death. So, it was only a matter of time before that warning turned into an all out hunting game with whoever had attacked Jasper hunting each of those that were left of the 100 down.

Hearing that they were almost there, she wasn't sure whether she should feel relieved or worried. Sure, there was the fact that there was water and the seaweed, but there was also the fact that the lake had been where Jasper had gotten hit with the arrow. And, on top of that, they would be out in the open and clear targets. Hopefully, though, they wouldn't linger long enough for anybody to actually be able to attack them. They could just get the water and seaweed and get back.
