The Only Reason.

Liv groaned a little as she sat up the familiar bed, the bed felt heavy so Liv could assume that Luke was still asleep. Liv only thanked that she wasn't hungover as she climbed out of the bed and searched for some pants to wear. Liv only planned to come round to Luke's and chill for a few hours with him and the guys before heading home but there was a bottle of wine, so she had to have a glass or two. By 11 o'clock she was in not fit state for driving so she slumped off to Luke's room to sleep off the alcohol. After finding a pair of jogging bottoms and grabbing her phone, Liv headed downstairs and into the kitchen passing the rest of 5SOS who were sound asleep in the living room. Once in the kitchen she poured herself a glass of water and noticed that Liz had left a note requesting Luke tidied up before she got back from work. Liv glanced at her phone and saw a text from her boyfriend, Charlie which she quickly replied to before looking in the cupboards for something to eat.

Michael heard the sound of footsteps, light footsteps so he could assume that is was Liv heading downstairs and not Luke. Michael had been up for half an hour which he spent most of the time on his phone. Michael mind was once again drifted back to Arabella like it often did, despite it being a whole year since he last saw her. Even though they kept in contact with the odd text or call, Michael hadn't really thought about any other girl since her. Michael wasn't sure why he was so hung up on her, they never had a relationship in the time she was here and he didn't know when she would be back. Arabella did have family in Australia but she didn't have an obligation to see them, so who knew when she would be back. Sighing Michael tossed the covers off his body and headed into the kitchen to see what Liv was up to.

Arabella strolled through the airport doors with a smile on her face. Australia. Home. She was finally back home in Australia. She smiled widely when she saw her brothers, Caleb and Vince and she ran over and hugged them tightly. Arabella had missed them more than anyone while she was in London, "So glad you're home, sis." Caleb said with a grin, "Yeah we really missed having you around, punk." Vince said and took one of her bags, putting it in the car before they headed back home to the house that Caleb and Vince lived in together. Arabella would be staying with them for the time being while she was home. She was excited to spend time with them. The two were basically her best friends on top of her brothers.

Luke rolled over when he felt Liv get out of bed. He rubbed his eyes with a small groan before he got up and quickly showered before he dressed and headed out into the kitchen to get some breakfast. He smiled when he saw Liv before he nodded at Mikey, "Morning." He said to both of them before he grabbed a bowl and some cereal and milk. He sat on the counter in the kitchen while he ate his breakfast and he stared at Liv, "How'd you sleep?" He asked.

Liv was eating a bowel of cereal when Mikey entered the kitchen and followed suit, he took a seat opposite her at the island and took out his phone. It was a few minutes later when Luke entered the kitchen and got some breakfast just as Liv was finishing hers. "Okay, I guess, I haven't got a hangover so that is a plus," shrugged Liv as she headed to the dishwasher and placed her empty bowl inside it. "Liz left you a note by the way," mentioned Liv as she stretched her arms above her head, "Did you sleep okay?" She asked Luke as she returned to her seat.

Michael replied with a quick morning as he tucked into his cereal and scanned his twitter as he replied to a few fans. Michael had no plans for the day, if anything he was probably going to head home and spend the day on the computer unless his mum insisted that he went food shopping with her. "I slept fine by the way Luke, thanks for asking!" called out Michael in a joking manner.

Arabella sat in the back of the car and talked with Caleb and Vince about her time in London. She thought back to the last time she was in Australia and the first thing she thought of was Mikey. She hadn't spoken much with him since she left but she knew she was bound to see him while she was home. Arabella decided not to tell her brothers just yet about how she might end up coming back to Australia for good. She had been offered a job back home she wasn't sure if she could pass up or not. She loved London but this job was perfect. She wasn't sure what she was going to do just yet.

Luke nodded at Liv's words about the note before he looked on the fridge to see a note from his mum. He laughed at Mikey's words, "Good morning Mikey. I dreamt about you!" he teased and playfully winked at Mikey before turning to Liv, "I'm just kidding. Obviously I dreamt about you." he laughed before he finished his cereal and placed the bowl in the sink. He watched as Calum and Ashton walked in the kitchen looking like hell. He laughed lightly when they went right to the cabinet with the aspirin in it.

Liv rolled her eyes playfully at Luke as she took another spoonful of her cereal. Liv watched as Luke made his way to the sink and heard Calum and Ashton enter the kitchen searching for aspirin. Liv felt her phone vibrate again and it was another text off Charlie, he was asking if she was still at Luke's. Liv once again replied and locked her phone. Liv had been friends with Luke for as long as she could remember and Charlie had been her boyfriend for just under two years. Liv loved Charlie and he always knew she had close relationship with Luke and he didn't think much of it, which she was grateful for. But over recent months Liv had began to feel different with Luke and she didn't want to tell him or Charlie so she choose to keep quiet but she was sure Luke could tell. Liv was never sure if Charlie liked Luke and vice verse, it was hard to tell they seem to tolerate each other. Liv began to finish her cereal to avoid thinking about her current situation.

Michael smiled at Luke and quickly ate his cereal, he was way more hungry than he first thought. Michael watched as his friends headed into the kitchen in search of aspirin, clearly the alcohol took it's toll on them. Michael decided that he would bite the bullet and send Arabella a text, he had nothing to lose. Haven't talked in a while? How's London treating ya? - M x Michael quickly sent the text off without a second thought.

Arabella raised an eyebrow when she felt her phone vibrate. She looked down to see a text from the very man who was running through her mind, Actually not in London right now. I'm home. In Sydney. I'm gonna be here for three weeks. Let's meet up while I'm home, yeah? -A xo. She replied back before she turned back to the conversation going on with Caleb and Vince.

Luke raised his eyebrow at Liv, "Who ya textin' over there?" Luke asked and walked over to Liv and quickly stole her phone from her. He unlocked her phone and read her messages from Charlie, "Oh Charlie!! I love you so much." He teased and acted like a girl and pretended to faint, "Charlie you're so perfect!" Ashton chimed in before helping Luke tease Liv.

Liv felt her phone disappear out of her hands and before she had chance to react Luke and Ashton began mocking her. "God you two are both like children," retorted Liv as she tired to get her phone back off Luke but failing. Damn Luke for being so tall. "I never act like that around Charlie, well not anymore, maybe at the start," pouted Liv. When Luke acted like this it made Liv unsure if he liked Charlie or just tolerated him for her sake's. "Luke can I have my phone back?" asked Liv as she held out her hand for her phone.

Michael felt his heart skip a beat when he saw Arabella had replied to his text and that she was in Sydney. "Yes!" yelled Michael earning a look for Calum, "Arabella is back in Sydney," he quickly answered. Michael did not wasting time in replying to her. Wow, that's awesome!!! Yeah sure we've got to hang out, just name the time and place :) - M x

Arabella smiled widely at Mikey's text, When I get settled in I definitely will let you know. I'm staying with my brothers for the time being but I'm sure they won't take up too much of my time :D -A xoxo She sent with a grin before she looked out the window and remembered the last time she was home and the time she had spent with Mikey. She couldn't recall a better way to spend a vacation home if she was being honest.

Luke looked over and raised an eyebrow when Mikey yelled before he smirked, "Awe cute you're girlfriend is back in town." Luke said before he hand Liv her phone back, "Do you remember Arabella?" Luke asked Liv. He couldn't recall if she had heard about Arabella, "I don't even remember if I told you about her or not. That shows how long it's been since Arabella was back. Mikey you best hope that she still remembers the time you two spend together." He said and turned to his friend before back to Liv, "Who's Arabella?" Ashton asked, "Oh yeah that's right you weren't here when she was last home. Arabella is Mikey's dream girl. Basically she's always lived in Australia but Mikey never met her until the last time she had visited home from England. Oh by the way she lives in England now if you didn't catch that. Back to the story. Anyways, Mikey and her met up at a bar and basically they spent an entire week together that just involved them being a weird fling couple thing and they were constantly doing it. I mean I never got to hang out with him. He was always "busy". Well it wasn't until after she left that he had actually been busy with her. I thought the whole thing was really weird but as you can see I don't think we've ever seen Mikey happier. Mikey show Ash a picture of her." Luke said before slumping down in his chair.

Liv watched as Luke quickly jumped into the story of Arabella, Liv had heard mentions of her but know she knew the full story. "It's like a weird love story, Mikey is such a love sick puppy just look at his face," chuckled as she glanced over at her friend smiling at his phone. "It's cute maybe one day you can all get a girlfriend," mocked Liv as she gentle nudge Luke. "You two share the same bed so you are kind of half way there," spoke up Calum. Liv rolled her eyes at Calum, "You can share a bed with someone and not have sex, it is possible Cal." Liv never told Charlie that she shared a bed with Luke she knew he would be less than impressed if he ever found out.

"Here Ash, this is a good one," beamed Michael as he hurried over to Ashton to show him the picture. His phone once again beeped which Ashton heard so he took his time looking at the photo before handing it back to Michael. "She looks cool," replied Ashton. Awesome, no rush just as a when. Glad your are back in Oz :) - M x.

Arabella smiled at the text before the car pulled up to the house and Arabella got out, taking her suitcase with her then walking inside. She went right up to her room and started to unpack. When she had gotten down to the bottom of her suitcase she smiled when she saw a picture she had packed of her and Mikey, Fancy a coffee? She sent before she quickly showered and looked for a new outfit.

Luke laughed at Liv's words before he glared at Calum for his. The boys knew very well of the way he felt about Liv and he didn't like when they poked fun at him because of it. He knew they didn't mean anything by it but it still irritated him. He smiled lightly at Liv, "Yeah just because you can't control yourself doesn't mean that we can't." He added to Liv's words.

Luke seemed a little on edge at Calum's comment but Liv decide not to dwell on this, she couldn't think too much about it as she wasn't sure how she felt about Luke anymore and that was already messing with her head enough. Liv watched as Calum rolled his eyes and raised his hands in defense, "Touchy subject then, I'll leave it be." Liv too rolled her eyes at Calum's comment and turned to face Luke and gently poking him in the chest, "What are your plans for today Lukey?" asked Liv.

Michael raised his eyebrows at Ashton as he overheard the conversation between Calum and Luke. "Rather Luke than me," muttered Michael to Ashton to which he nodded in reply. Michael was glad he wasn't in Luke's situation, Michael was 100% sure that Liv knew how Luke felt but she was with Charlie so that made things a little difficult. Michael showed Ashton a few more pictures when he received another text from Arabella. Sure thing, where abouts? Give me twenty and I can be there x replied Michael, he would grab a shower before heading out to meet Arabella.

Arabella looked down when her phone buzzed, Hmmm....how about our spot in the park? She sent with a smile before she quickly went into the bathroom and made sure she looked presentable and cute. It was Michael after all and she always needed to look her best around him. He was something special to her and she needed to make sure he still saw her the way he did the last time they saw each other.

Luke shrugged, "I was thinking about hanging around here and then maybe hanging out with the lads. Maybe hang out with you? Unless you're going to be hanging out with Charlie." He suggested with a hopeful tone in his voice. He knew she would probably be hanging out with Charlie but he always hoped that she would hang out with him instead.

Liv smiled as Luke suggested hanging out, Liv did have plans with Charlie but they were for later in the day. "Yeah, of course we can hang out Luke," beamed Liv as she gently nudge Luke, "You guys are always so busy I never really get to see you enough." Liv missed all the boys when they were on tour, however, out of all of them she missed Luke the most. "But by the looks of things I think Michael will be heading out soon," chuckled Liv as she watched Michael race past them out of the kitchen and into the living room.

Michael knew he wouldn't have time to grab a shower but it was nothing deodorant couldn't sort out. Michael quickly waffled down the rest of his cereal and went to put the bowl into the dishwasher. Michael quickly replied to Arabella Sure thing, setting off in 15 x. "Hey Ash, can you give me a lift to the park?" yelled Michael, he was a bit too far out the way to get to the park and Ashton had brought his car to Luke house. "Suppose I can," replied Ashton as he finished up his cereal. Michael then rushed into the living room, he better start getting ready if he wanted to meet Arabella on time.

Arabella smiled at the text before she went down to the kitchen and looked at Caleb and Vince, "I'm going out. I'll be back later." she said happily before she waved and walked out the front door and towards the park. It wasn't far from the house. She sat down under her favorite tree in the park and waited for Michael to show up. To say she was nervous and anxious was an understatement. She hadn't seen him in what felt like forever and she felt like things might have changed but she really hoped it hadn't.

Luke smiled widely when Liv said She would hang out with him until she had to hang out with Charlie. It was more time he got to spend with her and less time She was with Charlie. It wasn't that he didn't like Charlie it was that he didn't like Charlie with Liv. Luke wanted to be the one with her. He always had. It felt natural to him.

Michael was already waiting by Ashton car by the time the drummer left Luke's house. "Excited I take it?" asked Ashton with a small laugh. "You have no idea, now come I've got someone to meet," ushered Michael as he jumped into the passenger seat of the car. Ashton was a cautious drive and Michael was edge as Ashton took his time but he eventually made it to the park. Michael yelled a quick goodbye and thank you before diving out the car with his bag in tow. Michael nearly ran to the stop, only stopping when he was in walking distance. It felt like forever since he had last seen Arabella. Michael approached the tree with some caution and turned round the corner and saw Arabella waiting there. "Boo!" yelled Michael, he hoped he scared her, well only a little.

Liv saw Luke smile spread wide across his face. It made her happy seeing Luke happy. "So what are we going to do today Lukey?" asked Liv as she ran a hand through her hair, "Are we going just going to hang out or we gonna hang out with Ash and Calum?" continued Liv before she leaned close to Luke's ear and whispered, "Because if I am honest as much as I love Ash and Cal, I'd rather it be just us because we never hang out on our own." She then learned back in the chair with a smile on her face almost pleading Luke to say yes.

Arabella scrolled through her Twitter as she waited for Michael. She jumped when he yelled boo and smiled widely at him, "Mikey!!" she exclaimed with a giggle before she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly, "I missed you!" she said as she pulled away and smiled up at him. She didn't think it was possible but he had gotten even better looking from the time she had last seen him.

Luke looked over at Liv with a smile and nodded, "Of course." He said before he looked over at Calum and raised his eyebrows at his friend. Calum smirked, quickly getting the hint before he stood up and said a quick goodbye to the two before pulling out his phone and sending a text, most likely to Ashton, before leaving Luke's house. Luke looked back at Liv and smiled, "So what do you want to do?"

Michael let out a loud laugh as he watched Arabella jump from his boo but soon he was quickly engulfed in a hug. Michael quickly wrapped his arms around Arabella's small waist, giving her a slight squeeze before slowly pulling away. "I've missed you too, it's been far too long!" beamed Michael, he finally got a chance to look at her. She hadn't changed a bit but she also had, she looked even more stunning than the last time her saw her, "You look amazing by the way!" added Michael with a soft smile.

Calum quickly left and Liv was then alone with Luke, at last. "Well it is a lovely day outside and we used to do them all the time when we were younger, so what about a waterfight?" asked Liv, she knew that Luke still had his supersoaker in a cupboard somewhere and his mum had spare balloons from several parties they had.

Arabella smiled at Michael's words before she quickly replied, "You look great as well. You've grown a little since I last saw you. And of course your hair is a different colour again." she teased and quickly ran a hand through his hair. She pulled her hand back and smiled up at Mikey, "I has been too long, I agree." she said and grinned at him.

Luke smiled widely at Liv and nodded, "A water fight sounds amazing." He said and quickly got up and got his water guns from the hall closet, "I think mum has the balloons in cabinet above the sink. You can start filling them up." He called out and started to fill up the guns in the bathroom sink.

Michael smiled as Arabella ran a hand through his hair it felt really nice. "Of course my hair has changed, I can't stay the same colour for too long people will wonder what is up with me," laughed Michael as he tugged a little on his own hair. "So come on then, how is London? What have you been up to?" asked Michael as he gently nudge Arabella.

Liv let out a small squeal as Luke agreed and suddenly dashed off, she was ready for the all out war they were about to have. Liv hurried to the cabient and grabbed the balloons out of it and quickly took out a bucket to put all the filled balloons in. "You ready to get drenched Luke?" yelled Liv as she began to fill up the balloons.
