Senna let out a deep breath. She walked nervously towards a building in the distance. She arrived in front of the building the whole trip feeling like a dream. It wasn't a dream this place was hers now. But why her? Why did her grandma choose to give it to her. She was the youngest of five. Fresh out of college so why would her grandma leave it to her.

It doesn't matter now, it was hers, everything was finalized yesterday. She could still remember the cold looks her siblings gave her. It's not like she asked for this. She sighed again, she knew they were just waiting for her to screw up now. Lose their poor grandmas prized possession. Once that happened she would never hear the end of. No matter the occasion it would get brought up just to rub her nose in it.
No. Senna needed to be positive. She could do this it just needed a little... a lot of ... work. Senna took off her sunglasses to examine the building better. The sign was dinged up, you could hardly read the words DELICIOUS SWEETS anymore. The building was old. Great just what she needed more work. She took the key out of her coat pocket waking to the door, well tis will be interesting she thought.

Damon whistled to himself as he walked into his shop. He was having one of those days where he was happier than any other day and for no particular reason. When he unlocked the door his dog, Bandit pushed it open and immediately started to sniff around the room. He sat behind his desk, saw dust drifting through the air. He had an appointment with a woman at a baker in just a little bit. Until then he decided he would try and get some of his books taken care of. He had some bills to send out and he had to see how his brother was doing with the renovations of the Pembutrin's bathroom and bedroom. He hoped it would be done soon. They were making back with that particular project and he wouldn't mind the extra cash. Then again, who would?

After an hour and sealing envelopes, clearing eraser scraps and balancing the company books, Damon gave a whistle for Bandit to follow him. He needed to start on his way to the bakery. He was told it needed some serious work bu the would be the judge of that when he got there. He was a little peeved he was going to be meeting with the woman he talked to over the phone. It always made payments more difficult than he liked because they would most likely argue about who would be paying for it. he couldn't care less as long s he did get paid.

Senna sat at a small table in her shop. Her head lay in her arms. That optimism she once had had left. The ovens were ok, but they wouldn't last much longer. The floors needed to be refinished, the windows were cracked, and so much more. This gave her a headache just thinking about it.

She looked up at the clock seeing the repairman should be there soon. Great soon there would be another headache. Money. She couldn't afford this. Sighing, Senna stood fixing her hair back into the bun. she needed to look nice and professional. She walked in the back in to the kitchen. She grabbed the box of cookies she made him as a tank you since there was a lot of work. This renovation would take months. OH NO. What about her business, the customers. She groaned her head hitting her arms again. Maybe her siblings were right, she was going to fail.
