Leaned against the kitchen counter, Abby quietly sipped her tea while going through her notebook. Keeping a hopefully inconspicuous eye on the kitchen, she quickly checked over her notes from the first half of the group meeting - adding new notes where needed.
There, she thought, that's a pretty good summation - at least a pretty good summation of what she learned so far. It would have to do for now. It seemed this group had its fill of short tempers, big egos, and excessive baggage, but of course, that was to be expected. Still, she found herself woefully unprepared.
She'd spent a lot of time learning about what they were (and how to control/contain them, if need be), but none of her reading could have prepared her for the actual face-to-face experience. It seemed that keeping them safe (from themselves and each other) were the least of her woes. It seemed, she thought, it would be much easier to deal with their 'monster' flaws than their human ones.

Looking around the room, it looked like everyone was done eating and beginning to get antsy.
Better get back to our session, Abby thought.
"Everyone! Hello? Hello!" she stepped to the center of the room. "Now that everyone's fed and hopefully a little rested, should we move back into the library? Yes?" Abby nodded, hands fluttering in what she hoped conveyed a 'gathering' motion. "If everyone can finish up in here, session will reconvene in five minutes. You lot can head on in as soon as you're ready. I'll go rise up the stragglers."
