I swear she smells just like a flower.

  • [ you're fine! There's been a lot of bad vibes and tension going on around my house the last week. Plus I've been working and not staying at home so I haven't really been on either. Congrats on the new job, though!! :) ]

Flora wasn't sure how it was possible that she ran into Spencer here at the hospital she worked at before she'd ran into him at their apartment. Especially given that she only lived two doors down, but the hospital is pretty large. Regardless of whatever the statistics were saying it should've have happened the other way around, it was nice to see him. Even though she still hardly knew him he was a familiar face given she had at least met him and she still didn't know too many people around the area. On top of all of that she'd learnt something new about him, he apparently worked for the FBI which for whatever reason made her feel a little safer about going home. And she'd already felt pretty safe there. "So do you know what those special agents wanted with your patient?" Flora heard one of the other RN's ask her, which pulled her out of her thoughts. "Uh no I don't, at least not for sure." She replied looking over at the room and biting her lip. Flora suddenly wasn't sure if she should say something to Spencer about getting together sometime for dinner or something, or if she should just say nothing.

  • "You've been holding out on me, pretty boy!" Morgan said, clapping Spencer on the shoulder as they headed towards the room where the most recent victim was resting. Spencer felt heat creep up his face and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "She's my neighbor, Morgan. And we should be focusing on the case anyway, not Flora." He reminded his colleague. He knew that Morgan would probably drop the subject for the time being, but he also knew better than to think it was the end of the conversation all together. It would be brought up again later on, that much he knew.

  • Flora bit her lip as she watched Spencer and his colleague walk into her patient's room most likely to question him about what had brought him in. Which was something Flora herself didn't even know, and while usually, she knew a few of the details that brought patients in, she didn't always know everything. Her job wasn't to know every little thing, though, her job was to do everything she could to take care of the people who were put in her rooms.

"Flora are you even listening to me?"

Flora shook her head and looked over to her friend behind the desk, "sorry I kind of zoned out,"

"Clearly, anyways I said here comes his food. And your perfect chance to ask the hottie to dinner. And if I were you I'd take it,"

Flora rolled her eyes, "I'm working don't you think it'd be a little unprofessional to ask someone on a date when you're both on the clock?"

Her friend laughed and shook her head. "Honey, if you don't ask him to dinner I will. Plus think about it this way how many chances are you really going to get? I mean you're hardly ever home because you're always here and he clearly has a job that keeps him busy too. Yea if you end up in a relationship it'd be hard but that doesn't mean it's not worth it. What if it's the best thing that ever happened? You won't know though unless you take a chance. Now go before you lose your chance,"
