Clarke's lungs were burning and her thighs were on fire as she ran, not even stopping for a second. Because she knew that if she stopped, she would be dead. Her breathing was coming out in ragged gasps, salty tears streaming down her face. Clarke had been saved by Philip, the Governer, so when she figured out how sick and twisted he was.. it broke her heart. If it hadn't been for him she would have been Walker food. But as everything with those people in the prison went down, she begun to dig her nose somewhere it didn't belong and what she knew about him, it could get her killed. Clarke's feet were slapping against the ground beneath her as she heard the sound of a truck revving up in the distance and her heart began to race even more than it already was. They were hot on her trail and it wouldn't be long before they caught her. She was on foot, he was in a moving vehicle. Who would win here? Her cheek was throbbing and Clarke knew it was going to bruise. After she had confronted Philip it ended in a bit of a scuffle, luckily she managed to get away. There was a reason Clarke was his right hand 'man'. The gates of the prison were in the distance, if she could just keep going--

"Clarke, honey, I just want to talk! There's really no need to run," she could hear him calling out to her, his voice a sickeningly sweet voice that sent chills down her spine. Letting out a panicked gasp, she swiftly reached into her pocket and whipped out her knife, jabbing it into the skull of a walker she had ran into, cursing herself for being so careless. Not only did she have to keep an eye out for him, she also had to be careful of the walkers. "Help me, please!" She cried out hoarsly, hoping someone anyone heard her cries of help. "Please, he'll kill me!" She gasped out, throwing her hands up and praying to God they would let her in. Clarke didn't know if they were nice people or not, but the way the Governer made them out to be like the bad guys, maybe they were one of the good guys instead. Everything else that man had said was a lie..

Rick had been out tending to the pigs and the garden when he heard the shrieks and cries of help. Then, there was the sound of a loud truck. With the threats of attack from a man who called himself the Governer, he had been on high alert. Everyone had, actually. They had everyone on guard, waiting for the moment he would decide to pop in and surprise them. Rick didn't like surprises, not anymore. "Daryl!" He called out, pointing to the front gate of the prison. "Get to the girl--now!" He shouted, reaching towards where his signature gun was, keeping his hand on it as he began running towards the gates. Darly would make it there first since he was closer, but Rick wanted to be there as well to interrogate this girl as soon as time would allow it. But if she really was in trouble, they needed to get her to safety as quickly as possible. Then again, it could very well be a trap. They would have to tread very carefully, it wasn't uncommon for the Governer to use tricks like this. And with that sweet looking girl it wouldn't take long for people to believe she was innocent. Then again, nobody was innocent in this world. Rick stopped in his tracks, turning to see Carl and a few others standing around. "Get inside!" He shouted, shooting his son a slight glare as if he was saying 'Don't argue with me right now, son.'
