Sofia ran a hand through her hair as she made her way across the small little path behind the girls school that led to the boys. She had left Cat after their Magic Identification class with a kiss on the cheek and a promise to meet her for dinner, as she had to go pick up work for her sick brother from his Potions class. Sofia didn't mind much as she enjoyed the walk, the weather was warm and the sun was shining, and she was able to play around with her light, bouncing around little balls as bright as the sun around her fingers. It didn't take her long to find the classroom, dimming her magic and tapping on the door with her knuckles before making her way inside. The teacher was sitting down at the desk, classroom empty, and she smiled when he looked up. She was surprised at how young he seemed, and she was almost instantly attracted to him. "Hi, I'm Sofia Penhallow, and my older brothers in your class, his name is Alec Penhallow? He's sick so I came to pick up whatever he missed the past few days," She said, running her hand through her hair again. Sofia almost went to adjust her glasses but then realized she wasn't wearing them that day, and dropped her hands to her sides and admired the mans features shamelessly.

Simon had just picked up both his and Cat's favorite coffee orders from the local coffee shop on campus, the Witch's Brew, and was making his way to her dorm. He was hoping that Sofia maybe wasn't there so that he could have some alone time with her. They had met at a party their first years here, and had been involved with each other ever since. Despite their rivalry, he just couldn't get enough of her. Once in front of her door, he knocked, balancing coffees and pastries in one hand.

Jamie wished the class a good day before sitting back down behind his desk and started sorting through the homework he had received. He had noticed that one of his students, an Alex Penhallow, hadn't been to class in a few days and briefly wondered if he were sick or something of the sort. He looked up at a knock on his door and a brunette girl came walking in. Now, if he were a teacher over at Morgana's School for Young Witches, he would be damned for finding the girl at the very least attractive. But seeing as he was a professor at Merlin's Academy for Upcoming Wizards, he felt it was okay to find her so much more than that, stunning even. "Ah, yes, I noticed he hadn't been in class lately," Jamie said, his accent thick as he spoke with a smile on his lips. "Give me a moment to pull everything together, Miss Penhallow." It took him a moment to pull his eyes from her to rummage through his messy desk to find the assignments and the classwork he had assigned.

Cat waved Sofia off before heading back to her dorm room for the day, planning on maybe doing some studying for an extremely hard History of Magical Items exam the next week. She wasn't counting on actually doing some work. Honestly, she would end up getting distracted by animating the objects in her and Sofia's room and play with them until it was time to go meet Sofia for dinner. It surprised her to see a boy there standing in front of her door and it took her a moment to recognise his curly hair. "Mister Fray, I didn't think boys were allowed in the girl's dormitories," she spoke up, a teasing lit intertwined with her words. She dug the key out of her pocket to unlock the door.

When she heard him speak, she almost melted at how thick his accent was. She moved further into the class, resting on the edge of the table that was in front of his desk. "Of course, take your time," Sofia said as she rested, and her eyes skimmed his desk, looking for pictures or any signs that he may have a significant other. "If you don't mind me saying, you look a little young to be a teacher," She said, blunt as always. People always told her that she was rash and blunt, just like her powers, just like the light that she could bend with her fingers. "Have you been working here long?" Sofia followed up with her statement, realizing that it might've sounded a little rude to someone who didn't know that she just happened to be that blunt all of the time. In all honesty, she just really wanted to flirt with him, see if he was in her age range, because it seemed like he was. Since he was a teacher at the other school, she didn't really have to worry about anything, and he was the most gorgeous man she had ever seen in her life. It said a lot, because she often had suitors that she sometimes indulged in, but not much. Sofia just never found the right ones that were there for the right reasons. She didn't complain much, though, because she did enjoy being single.

At hearing Cat's voice through the door, he grinned. "You know I've never let a few rules ever stop me, love," Simon replied, and he continued to smile as the door opened. "I come bearing gifts, which happens to be your favorite coffee order and pastry," He introduced, before letting himself inside her dorm by slipping past her, plopping the food down on her desk before settling himself down on her bed, arms behind his head. "How have you been, gorgeous? I havent seen you since that party last weekend at the lake. I can't stop thinking about us getting acquainted behind that tree. Have you been thinking about me, sweetheart?" Simon said with a wink, his eyes giving her a quick once over, before settling at meeting her gaze.

Jamie was a little shocked at how she spoke to him. Usually students weren't that... blunt. They at least attempted at making their words sound nicer. "I started teaching a little over two years ago. I started here just as this year began," he answered her, taking a small glance to the girl before looking back down to his desk. Her bluntness was quite a change from what he was used to. Though, her brother, Alec, was kind of like that as well. He didn't beat around the bush for answers. "I might have been top of my class, but I never quite learned how well organisation really worked," he let out a little laugh. It took him a couple minutes before finding the folder he had of the work and pulled out what her brother would need. "Here you go, that should be everything," he flashed her a dazzling smile as he held out the papers to her. Jamie was glad he had taken the position here and not at the girl's school. He would have really been fucked if he taught over there, having to see her beautiful face every day.

Cat's face lit up when she noticed the coffee and pastry. "You're a doll," she said, watching as he just plopped himself down on her bed. Cat grabbed her drink before sitting down on the bed. "You know, I was drunk, and those powers of yours just aren't that fair," she pointed a finger to him with a pout; there was no way she could have resisted him - he was gorgeous. Truthfully, she had thought about him quite a bit. He fascinated her slightly. What she didn't know, though, was whether her thoughts about and fascination with him was all her, or if there were his powers in play that never really left her.

She hummed at his answer, watching him as he found all of the paperwork and then finally handed her a folder that had everything for her brother. "Thank you so much for everything," Sofia said, giving him a bright smile as she stopped leaning against the desk and reached out to grab the folder. She tucked it into her bag, looking back up at him and lingering for a second. "You know, I've been trying to figure out what your powers were this whole time and I just can't figure you out," She said, giving him a smile as she met his eyes and studied them. Usually all magical students had some kind of clue about them that helped identify what category they were in or something similar, and if you were magical, you were usually able to sense what was different about someone else. Usually people commented that she sometimes glowed and had an aura of light, or that she was always warm to the touch, never cold. When it came to this man, however, Sofia just couldn't put her finger on it. Usually she was really good at guessing people's powers, but nothing about him gave off any clue to what he could do. "Usually I'm good at reading people," Sofia added, slightly softer, and she took a step closer to him. Now that she was curious, she knew that she wouldn't be able to let it go until she figured it out.

"Well, fancy that, I was quite drunk as well. And my powers are perfectly fair. I'm just encouraging you to feel different emotions, you're the one that lets me do that to you, you are the one that accepts and allows yourself to feel what I encourage," He pointed out, and he reached for his coffee, taking a sip from it as he watched her climb onto her bed beside him with her own drink. Simon looked her over, sighing. "I actually don't ever really use them on you, and I definitely didn't at that party, if you were wondering," He added, because he could tell she was thinking about it. His entire life he had not only been able to induce emotions, but was also able to detect the emotions of others. He tended to stay away from those that had bad feelings towards him, but kept towards the ones that had good. Cat was one of those. The first time they had both laid eyes onto each other there was good there, and Simon felt it. It was always hard for him to build up relationships of trust with others because they always were wary of Simon tricking them into liking them, which he admits, he could do. However, he always tried to avoid it because he would rather be with someone because it was truthful, and not something he was making up with his powers. He started to smirk, then, however, and he waved his fingers once, looking at her. Simon gave her a quick bout of pleasure pheromones, low intensity, just to play around with her. "Like there, do you feel that? That was me. You can usually tell when I do use them," He said with a laugh at the look on her face.

Jamie let out a laugh at her frustration of not being able to figure out his power. He had always assumed it would be easy to figure out. "Let's just say I could make a killing as a magician out in Las Vegas," he said with a grin before giving it a second thought. Jamie clasped his hands together gently before slowly opening them up to show a butterfly just resting there in one of his hands. With a flick of his wrist it fluttered up before landing on Miss Penhallow. Jamie then snapped his fingers and it was gone. They were never real. They were just illusions. He couldn't just make real things appear and disappear. He was just able to make people believed that it was there or that it happened. "And you, let me guess... light manipulation?" he asked, though he was positive. She was practically glowing from her powers.

Cat nodded her head a little, listening to him. She felt quite bad thinking that he was able to just to just make her think and feel whatever without even thinking that she had to have some sort of part in it. But then she felt a little wave of pleasure course through her and Cat let out a little sigh. "Oh, so that's what that feels like. I don't remember that at the party. I mean, you using your powers. The pleasure I definitely do remember," she babbled a little before pulling her one hand up to cover her face. She couldn't believe that she had even slightly considered the thought of him using his powers on her like that. It was awful.

Sofia tipped her head back and laughed, her grin bright. Of course he was an illusionist, it was why he's wasn't so blatantly obvious in all of the signs. She noticed then, once he had told her, that sometimes when the light caught her hands, they would shimmer like they weren't even there, but then become whole again in an instant. His eyes, however brief, would sometimes flash a different color. It was so subtle and quick that she barely noticed it, but those were the signs of the illusionist. At the sight of the butterfly, she gasped, smiling as it landed on her. When it vanished, she looked back up at him with awe in her eyes. She had seen an illusionist before, but that person wasn't as good as it as Mr. Olivers was. The other person's illusions had been fuzzy, faded at the edges, but his were crisp and realistic. At his mention of her powers, she gave him a smirk. "Well, I'm a bit obvious, but yeah," She said with a nod, and she raised her hand, producing a hazy ball of light that she moved between her fingers expertly, balancing it on the tip of her finger before sending it over to him, grazing his cheeks with it before letting it fade out. Sofia giggled a bit, as she always enjoyed playing with her magic. "So I guess it's not an illusion that you happen to be very attractive?" She asked cheekily, looking to him with a smirk as she took another step closer and ran her fingers along his desk.

Simon nodded a little, and watched as she rambled but then ended up embarrassed and covering over her face. He moved to put down his coffee and then he sat up, moving over so he was right beside her. He gently put his hands over hers, moving them away from her face. "C'mon, love, don't cover over your pretty face," Simon murmured, and once he could see her again, he met her eyes and smiled. "There's that gorgeous girl. Look, Cat, don't feel bad for thinking that I used my powers. It's okay. Sometimes I will use them just out of habit, but it's only ever to make people feel happy if they're sad, or maybe make them feel really good if they're already happy," He said, winking at the end, and he dropped one of his hands from her face, but kept the other, his thumb stroking her cheek. "Can I kiss you? I really want to kiss you. Your lips look very inviting, you know," Simon said, and he hovered near her, just looking into her eyes.

Jamie let out a loud laugh when she asked if his attractiveness was an illusion. "I can't answer that without sounding like I'm flirting," he admitted, though he would definitely be flirting if he could. "You're a student, Miss Penhallow, and no matter how beautiful you are, I cannot lead you on and take advantage of you like that," he told her. But gods, he wish he could. She was one of the most beautiful people he had ever seen on this planet, and he didn't want to push her away like this. It was still wrong. He could still get into trouble even though she wasn't technically his student. She was still a student, and no matter how few of years they had between them, that wouldn't change until she graduated.

Cat made a little face when he pulled her hand away and looked at her. She bit down on her lower lip gently as he stroked her cheek and told her how he only used his powers to make people happy or feel really good if they wanted. He was such a lovely person. "Just a kiss," she said, nodding her head, feeling his warm breath on her skin.

She laughed along with him, raising an eyebrow when instead of flirting back, he rejected her advances. "Well, I wouldn't mind a little flirting, or being taken advantage of, but, if you do insist," Sofia shrugged her shoulders, reaching out for a pen and paper from his desk. She quickly scribbled her number there before setting it back down on his desk. "Just in case you ever feel like breaking the rules a little bit, illusionist," She said with a grin, giving him a short little wave before exiting the classroom. Sofia knew that it was a slim chance that he would actually call or text her, but he did call her beautiful. She hoped he would though, and if anything, she might end up visiting again. She never could keep away from things that were forbidden from her. Sofia made her way back over to her campus after dropping off her brothers stuff at his dorm, stopping by the Witch's Brew. After ordering her drink, she found a little table in the corner, and she relaxed there, playing around on her phone.

Simon leant down to press his lips to hers softly, and they molded together perfectly, spreading a feeling of satisfaction throughout him. Cat was the first girl he'd ever felt that way with just one kiss, and he let the kiss linger as long as he could. When he pulled back, he smiled softly, just looking into her eyes. It was then that he realized how much he had fallen for her, and how he had gone so soft for her. "Thank you for my kiss," Simon murmured.

Jamie had sat there at his desk looking over the same sentence from a student's paper over and over again. He took a small break every now and then to just state at his phone and then the paper she had given him with her number on it. He couldn't do it though. It was morally wrong on every level there was. Jamie stood up, packing his things up and grabbed both his phone and the paper to shove into his pockets to head home. There, it didn't last long until he was staring at the two again with the television as background noise. He was more undressed now: jacket off, tie off, and the first couple buttons of his shirt undone. Finally, it came to the point where he couldn't take it anyone and he picked up the phone to send her a text - he really didn't think he would be able to actually call her and get the words out without sounding like an idiot. 'Seems like I forgot to give you your brother's assignment for today. Meet me for coffee tomorrow morning or afternoon for coffee so I can get it to you? whenever works' Jamie send the message after just looking at his screen for a few moments.

Cat's eyes slid closed when Simon leaned in and pressed her lips to his. It felt electric, like nothing she had ever felt before. It was truly magical. She wanted the kiss to go on forever, but he pulled away after a few moments. "Thank-Thank you," the words stumbled out of her mouth and she bit down on her lower lip afterwards. Cat could still taste him on her lips.

Sofia took a sip from her coffee, looking to her phone that she had discarded on the table when it audibly buzzed. It was from a random number, and intrigued, she opened the message and was amused to find that it was obviously from Mr. Olivers. She waited a few minutes before replying. I have a morning class, so afternoon would be better. Maybe 1 at the witches brew? Sofia couldn't help but smile to herself, he was interested in her and he couldn't even soften his curiousity to see her again and see what she was like.

(If you wanna skip to then for your next post for Jamie that'd be cool, love.)

"God, Cat, what you do to me," Simon muttered, looking into her eyes for a few more seconds before pulling away and sitting up. "Are you going to go to that party tomorrow? That girl with the ice powers is holding it by the lake, both colleges are invited, of course. I wanted to go, but it would be even cooler if you happened to come with me," He told her, leaning back against the wall and returning his attention to his coffee, taking a few casual sips.
