Sofia tipped her head back and laughed, her grin bright. Of course he was an illusionist, it was why he's wasn't so blatantly obvious in all of the signs. She noticed then, once he had told her, that sometimes when the light caught her hands, they would shimmer like they weren't even there, but then become whole again in an instant. His eyes, however brief, would sometimes flash a different color. It was so subtle and quick that she barely noticed it, but those were the signs of the illusionist. At the sight of the butterfly, she gasped, smiling as it landed on her. When it vanished, she looked back up at him with awe in her eyes. She had seen an illusionist before, but that person wasn't as good as it as Mr. Olivers was. The other person's illusions had been fuzzy, faded at the edges, but his were crisp and realistic. At his mention of her powers, she gave him a smirk. "Well, I'm a bit obvious, but yeah," She said with a nod, and she raised her hand, producing a hazy ball of light that she moved between her fingers expertly, balancing it on the tip of her finger before sending it over to him, grazing his cheeks with it before letting it fade out. Sofia giggled a bit, as she always enjoyed playing with her magic. "So I guess it's not an illusion that you happen to be very attractive?" She asked cheekily, looking to him with a smirk as she took another step closer and ran her fingers along his desk.
Simon nodded a little, and watched as she rambled but then ended up embarrassed and covering over her face. He moved to put down his coffee and then he sat up, moving over so he was right beside her. He gently put his hands over hers, moving them away from her face. "C'mon, love, don't cover over your pretty face," Simon murmured, and once he could see her again, he met her eyes and smiled. "There's that gorgeous girl. Look, Cat, don't feel bad for thinking that I used my powers. It's okay. Sometimes I will use them just out of habit, but it's only ever to make people feel happy if they're sad, or maybe make them feel really good if they're already happy," He said, winking at the end, and he dropped one of his hands from her face, but kept the other, his thumb stroking her cheek. "Can I kiss you? I really want to kiss you. Your lips look very inviting, you know," Simon said, and he hovered near her, just looking into her eyes.
