Nina parked her car on the street and grabbed her bag off the passenger seat. She checked the time again already knowing she was a little early but she never liked being late and was always paranoid about it ad worrying that she'd be late to just about everything so she was mostly always early. She checked herself in the mirror just before getting out. It wasn't like there was any reason she was babysitting but she always wanted to make sure she looked good even if the she would only be seen for a moment but she also planned on going out afterwards so if she looked good now it would be less work to look appropriately hot later but right now she looked acceptable for babysitting. She smiled at her reflection before walking up to the door and knocking.

Landon was on the computer typing up a few last details for a work report before he had to leave. It was a last minute thing as usual but their wasn't much else he could do he had to wait to do most things until the kids were busy with something or another that wouldn't kill anyone or harm anybody which was a surprisingly hard thing for them to do, they always seemed to be getting into trouble or getting hurt. Sometimes he wished they could behave for a day or that he could get a break from them that didn't involve going to work. He checked the time before saving the changes to the report and closing his pages it was just about time for the babysitter to show up but before she did he needed to check on his kids and make sure they hadn't destroyed anything or killed each other it was oddly quiet and that wasn't usual with the twins. "Great." He muttered as he open their bedroom door to find Kendall and Kyle drawing on the walls but it was better than the type they were hitting each other with whatever they find.

"Daddy, don't leave!" James youngest son Danny screamed at the top of his lungs, wrapping his arms tight around his fathers neck. "Daddy has to go to work, but I'm sure you're going to love the new babysitter. She's very nice. Before you know it you won't even notice I'm gone." The four year old whimpered, burying his head into James neck, but his sobbing subsided. After giving him a kiss on the forehead he placed him beside his other son, a six year old called Mikey on the couch, and almost instantly he was curled up with his thumb in his mouth watching Spongebob. James let out a sigh of relief, just before he heard a knock on the door. He was more than ready to get to work after the long morning he had getting the kids up and ready. He walked over and opened the door, instantly smiling down at the face of the new babysitter. "It's so nice to see you again Nina," he said cheerfully motioning for her to follow him inside. She was a very pretty girl, it was impossible for him not to notice, but he knew he was going to have to not focus on that since she would be watching his kids the five days of the week that he worked. "You finally get to meet the kids, this is Mickey," he said, patting his oldest on the head. "And this here is Danny, they're under strict instructions not to give you any trouble," he shot a look at the boys, mostly playful but one which also made it clear that he meant it. "I have my cell phone number, and other emergency contacts on the table. There's plenty of sandwich fixings and snacks in the kitchen, feel free to help yourself to any food you want. Just try not to give the boys more than one cup of soda each, they're hyper enough as it is," he said with a chuckle, patting the head of Danny who had wrapped himself around his legs. "Do you have any questions or anything?"

"Bye babe, I'm off to my first day of work!" Riley announced, giving a little hip shake of excitement as she kissed her boyfriend on the cheek. "Riley, move out of the way, I'm winning!" he yelled, pushing her away and dodging his head around her so that he could see the video game being played on the screen. Dylan sat on the couch still in his underwear, a salad bowl filled with cereal positioned on his lap. Riley rolled her eyes, "Whatever, maybe try and find a job for yourself today while I'm gone," she yelled over her shoulder as she walked out of the door and to her car. She honestly wasn't sure why she stayed with Dylan, she knew objectively that he was a terrible boyfriend and that she deserved better, but she didn't know what she would do if she didn't have him in her life. They had been together his freshmen year of high school and now they were 21 years old, the only problem was that Dylan still acted like he was in high school. She shook the thought off and focused on the road and her new job babysitting for a single father of two. The father was an attractive man and she knew that she was going to have fun getting to look at him during the times she saw him. There was nothing wrong with a little eye candy now and then. Besides, she was really excited to get to spend time with kids and get paid for it, she was really a child at heart so this was the perfect job for her, at least until she found a career. Pulling into the driveway she let out all her nerves in a deep breath and got out of the car. She moved a strand of hair behind her ear and rang the doorbell.

"I think I got everything Mr.Mathews." Nina said with a smile at James. "Don't worry I'll take good care of your boys until you get back from work." She added as she looked at him taking him in. He was attractive that was easy to see she'd have to be blind not to notice but she was watching his kids that's probably how it should stay. "Is there anything else I need to know before you go?" She questioned as she looked down at Danny. It was really cute to see that they loved their dad so much. She was happy she was getting the chance to work with kids, that's what she wanted to do for her future maybe not babysitting forever but she wanted to teach and she was working on getting her masters degree so that she could do it but it was taking time and in the mean time she needed a way to make money so that she wouldn't starve to death while she tried to get her ducks in an order.

Landon sighed hearing the doorbell ring. "You two come now." He said with a smile as the twins dropped their crayons and walked up to their dad and he scooped them up easily, taking them down the stairs and to the living room setting the toddlers on the ground before going to open the door smiling at Riley. "Come in and thank you again." He said as he stepped aside. He'd had the hardest time finding a babysitter and had almost given up until Riley showed up for the interview and it was perfect. He'd been working from home for the past two years since the car accident that killed his wife and older daughter Emma. It'd been hard and he almost just decided to keep working from for the most part it's not like he had to be at the office for more than a couple of visits a month but it was a lot easier to sit and focus on the articles in the office rather than chasing the three year old's around. "Theirs food in the fridge snacks in the cupboard the ones furthest to the left are for them everything else you are welcome to. Try not to give them to much sugar otherwise they start throwing fits and hitting each other." He said as he led her towards the kids. "This little Princess is Kendall." He added as he picked up the blonde who'd been pulling on his pant leg. "And the monster over there is Kyle." He said just as Kyle began throwing toys on the ground from the basket. "They can have juice but unless it's the organic one then water it down. Their bedroom is the first door on the right and they take a nap around one. Don't worry about the drawing on the wall I'll clean it up after I get home. Careful with the gates they like to get stuck from time to time you just have to wiggle the handle. I think that's all I have to say. Do you have any questions?"
