(It's fine! Sorry this took me so long.)
James was about twenty minutes into his 45 minute journey to work when his phone rang. "Fuck," he mumbled under his breath, he was always slightly paranoid with a new babysitter, and expected the worse. When he looked at the caller id his shoulders relaxed, it was only his boss calling. "Yes sir," he said in his most professional voice, listening as the boss told him that he was sorry it was such late notice, but he thinks his talents would be best utilized at home for the day. He nodded, a small frown on his face, after all he had already drove this far and it was the babysitters first day. "That's no problem at all Joe, don't worry about it. I'll see you in the office tomorrow," he nodded as Joe said goodbye and hung up the phone. "Well, guess it's time to turn around," he said to himself, finding a driveway to turn in and making his way home. He pulled into his driveway a little while later, and walked up to the door, opening it and yelling out, "Guess who's home early," he wanted to announce his presence so not to frighten Nina. He shut the door behind him and hung his coat up on the hook by the door.

She waved goodbye to Landon as he left. She was a little relieved to have time to settle into her job here for a couple hours before having Landon in the house with her. It of course wouldn't be a problem but she knew there would be a part of her that would be somewhat nervous at first with him here. Like he was watching her every move even when he was in the other room. "Okay kiddos, what are you up to?' she asked, taking her seat on the couch beside them. "I'm Riley," she said, reintroducing herself to them. They played for a while, hide and go seek and then they drew some pictures (on paper this time), and watched the rugrats movie while she made them lunch. At one she announced that it was nap time, and much to her satisfaction they didn't fight it at all. She read them a quick story and within minutes they were out. She walked to the living room and switched the tv to a re-run of Roseanne. Smiling to herself that she would have some peace and quiet, at least until Landon returned home, which she was expecting would be any minute.
