"I doubt that Casey would cheat on you," Jared countered with a frown as he finally took in the room around him. At least, Logan had not taken all of his anger out on her since the room was practically in shambles. "Get the child tested then, if you wanna make sure so badly," He added out while pressing his fists tightly against his sides. It was no surprise that Logan was not considered to be father material, but it was too late for him to turn back now. "I don't care of you're not supposed to be a fucking dad because you are one now. So, you better suck it up and be the best god damn father that you can be to the child that you are having. The last thing that the world needs is another Logan running around because our parents spoiled you. So, you better ger your ass downstairs and actually take care of your pregnant girlfriend. And it's a child not a parasite," Jared ranted off, wanting to get everything out of his system. He knew that this would have never happened if Casey had never left him. They would have been more protected when having sex, and, even if she had gotten pregnant, he would have never reacted like this.

Logan rolled his eye's at Jared's comments and for the first time he actually wished he'd left her the fuck alone. He knew that Jared was probably right about Casey not cheating on him but it was a sliver of hope he had to hang onto. "I don't want her." He muttered as he locked eyes with his brother. It had lasted longer with Casey then it had with other girls because she wasn't clingy and well that had always pissed him off a little bit, but for the first time it was probably a good thing. It was true that Logan had been a spoiled child he got everything he wanted even after Jared was born because they hadn't wanted him to feel neglected because of the new baby. "I'm not going outside. I don't want to see her." He muttered and he knew it was best if he didn't he wasn't sure if he could control himself and he knew the moment he saw Casey his rage would return and he didn't know if he would just slap her this time he'd never hit a woman before and he was a little afraid of what he would do.

Jared's fists tightened to the point where his knuckles started to turn white, threatening to lunge at his brother. "What do you mean 'I don't want her'?" He questioned as his temper snapped completely in half with no point of recovery. After all of the sneaking around behind his back while they were dating, Logan decided that he no longer wanted Casey, especially after impregnating her. He had practically ripped her from Jared's grasp, but that was not enough. "You bastard." He grumbled then grabbed onto his collar, unable to help himself. Gripping the fabric in his hands, he gave Logan a nice jerk as if it would bring him back to his senses. "You took her from me, and, after all that, you don't want her anymore? You don't even deserve her. You don't deserve any of the girlfriends that you stole from me!" Jared practically screaming at his brother before shoving him back onto the bed to take his leave. It was a vicious cycle between the two brothers that did not seem to stop.

Logan rolled his eyes as he fell back onto the bed. It was obvious to him that Jared still had some feelings left for her at least more than he did himself. "I don't get why you didn't dump her yourself then I wouldn't have had to taken her. She's so fucking boring. She's not even that great in bed." He said with a smirk just egging his brother on. Why did he bother tormenting his brother honestly he wasn't entirely sure, okay maybe he was but it wasn't something that he would ever admit. Jared was a better guy he was smarter, nicer, a better boyfriend, and he knew he'd probably end up being a better father than he would when he finally had kids. Sure Logan could get girls any girl he wanted really but he was a mechanic and that's probably all he would end up being in the end and it pissed him off.

Jared knew that his brother was testing his patience by pushing only the buttons that immensely irritated him. "If she's so fucking boring, why did you have to take her from me? Obviously, I'm a boring guy in comparison to you, so you should just stay out my life, Logan," He responded then turning on his heel to go back to his brother on the bed. There were no more words that Jared felt the need to share with Logan since it was merely a waste of his breath. Pulling him up by the collar once more, Jared tightened his hand into a fist then prompted to strike him across the jaw with all his strength. It was empowering for him to release all of his anger toward a person that deserved it. "Man up and stop making excuses for yourself," He angrily stated then left the room to go back downstairs to Casey. His knuckles were stinging and throbbing from the impact with Logan's jaw, and Jared merely shook out the pain.

Jogging down the stairs, Jared moved back outside toward her car with a sigh. "Casey, I'm sure that you already realized that you can't rely on Logan for this..," He shook his head at the truth, running a hand through his hair,"..but, if you ever need anything, you can count on me. If you need to go to the doctor's or need something from the grocery store. Just.. Just call me, alright?" That was the best his could offer in the circumstance.

"Fuck!" Logan muttered as his jaw took a pretty bad hit popping it out of place as he stumbled back. He watched Jared walked away rubbing his jaw. He knew that it had only been a matter of time until his brother got pissed. But if the girls came to Logan then they probably weren't good enough for him anyways.

Casey was sitting in her car with the door open and her legs hanging out as she bit her lip. "I know that." She said with a small sad smile. "I can't ask you to do that for me. It wouldn't be right. " She added as she pulled her legs into her car. "I can do it on my own it wouldn't be much difference." Casey stated closing her door and it was only slightly a lie she knew it would be hard but she'd been taking care of herself for a little while.

His satisfaction grew at the sound of Logan's cry of pain accompanied by the popping of his jaw. He had deserved that for a long time. Returning back to Casey, Jared shook his head while placing his hand onto the top of the car door to prevent her from leaving. "No, Casey. I mean, it's not that I don't think you can't do it on your own, but.. I want to be there for you. I know that our past is complicated, but no one deserves to go through this by themselves," He explained, hoping that she would allow him to help. There was just no way for him to let this go. "I think it'll take a lot of the stress off by just knowing that there's someone there to assist you," Jared continued on as his eyes shifted down to her stomach, acknowledging that his brother's kid was inside of there.

Casey sighed softly as she looked up at Jared. He was far to nice to her and she knew that she didn't deserve it. He should hate her but she knew that he wasn't that kind of person even before it all happened he was always sweet and caring and knowing that she knew that he would not make her do it on her own. Sighing softly she wiped away the few little stray tears that decided to fall and nodded. "Okay. Thank you." She said softly with a small smile.

Despite everything that had occurred between them, Jared could never bring himself to despise Casey. Even a part of him hoped that she would return back to him someday, but, of course, he learned to move on from that thought. "It's no problem, Cas. Really," He smiled, moving his hand away from the door and allowing her to leave. Jared backed away from the car while shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans, glancing back toward the house. Hopefully, this would all turn out well for her and the baby. "I'll see you," He stated then started back toward the house, despite not wanting to see his brother.

Casey smiled waving slightly before she pulled out and drove home. She made a mental check list of all the things she needed to do the next day. She really did not deserve someone like Jared in her life and how the hell was she supposed to be a mom? The only person she ever had as an example was her dad but he worked most of the time and most of the time she wasn't sure if he would come back. Her mom left when she was 2 and she hadn't really heard anything from her so it was pretty much like not having a mom in the first place. When she got home Casey walked up going straight to the couch and falling asleep almost instantly it had been a long couple of days.

Logan was in the bathroom splashing his face with cold water when he heard Jared walk back in the house. He stepped into the hallway to see the top of his brothers head. "She's finally gone." He'd said more to himself and he was hoping just ignoring the fact could make it disappear but somehow he knew it wouldn't.

Moving back into the house, he glanced up to hear his brother's footsteps lingering in the hallway upstairs. "Logan, you better get your act together. She needs you," He stated with a frown before disappearing into the living room to be away from him. Sitting down on the couch, he turned up the television to a random channel and pulled out his phone to text Alyssa. Hey, just wanted to let you know that she's fine. She found out that she was pregnant. It did not take long for her to respond since she had been waiting at home. That's great to hear, but how is she taking it? Jared knew that Casey could have been taking it better, but she was coping with the reality. Send her my support!She concluded and Jared slid the phone back into his pocket with a sigh. Now that Logan was on the lookout for Alyssa, he would have to be even more careful.

"Whatever." Logan muttered to himself. Casey didn't need him she didn't need anybody and he'd known for awhile. She did just fine on her own. That's what he told himself anyways but it wasn't hard to see that even though she handled life on her own she didn't really like it but he'd be the last person she needed.

Jared went the rest of the night without speaking to Logan, floating around the house in silence. Their parents were on a business trip for the next few weeks, so the brothers would be alone inside of the house. No matter how much he spoke to Logan it would all be for naught. The following morning, Jared left the house to head to some classes at his college that was half an hour away. He hoped that he would run into Casey today, wondering how she was feeling. It must have been hard to swallow the truth that Logan refused to be a father but not surprising.

Completely forgetting that Jared had class that morning, Alyssa decided to drop by the house for a moment to see how he was fairing. She figured that she would just call his cell phone in the driveway as opposed to calling him beforehand since he would be home anyway. Pulling up in the driveway, she dialed his number only to have it go straight to voicemail. That was odd. It finally hit her that Jared had class today and was not home. "Shoot.." She mumbled to herself, sighing.

Casey had gotten up at her usual time of 4:30 am and took a quick shower though all she wanted to do was crawl into her bed and go to sleep but she had a class and she wasn't going to drop this early on or at all. She went through her normal steps and was out the door at 6:30 with food in hand though she didn't have much food at home to begin with so it wasn't much just enough to get her through. She got to school just before her 7:30 bio lecture and it went by pretty quickly but she kept thinking of that call she'd have to make after class and all the things she'd have to get done and all the things she'd have to put on hold her courses being one of them. After class she sat on a bench by her next class which was the other half to her biology course lab but she had a little more than an hour to kill before then. "Let me check." She said as she flipped open her little pocket calendar. "Okay ya Friday at 3 would be great. Thank you." She said before hanging up her phone. Her first appointment was scheduled though she thought it was pointless it was just getting her registered and blood work. She looked down at the muffin on her lap before taking a piece off and popping it in her mouth and that's when she noticed Jared normally she'd try her best to avoid him but right now she was to tired to move so she just gave him a small wave though she wasn't even sure if he'd noticed her.

Logan had been up early that morning or really he didn't actually sleep. As much as he wanted to forget everything that had happened that past day his mind refused so he did the one thing he always did when he needed to clear his mind he went on a run. Jared was still at the house when he left but he could hear him moving around so he was getting ready to leave which he was thankful for because he really didn't feel like seeing his brother. He quickly slipped on a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt rubbing his jaw where Jared had hit him the night before was still a little sore and slightly bruised but he ignored it and left the the house plugging into his phone and starting his running track before he took off. Logan ran for almost 2 hours before he finally got home and couldn't help but smirk when he saw the slightly familiar car in the driveway and he slowdown his pace before approaching the car and knocking on the window. "What brings you here this early?" He asked with a slight smile.

(Sorry it took a little bit my daughter got sick.)

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a small movement and turned to see that Casey had waved in his direction. He took that as an invitation to sit down next to her and slid into the seat. "Hey, Cas," Jared greeted with a small smile. Hopefully, Casey had taken some time to think over everything and let the pregnancy settle inside of her mind. "How are you feeling? Did you set up an appointment with a doctor?" He asked, still worried about the incident. "I don't really know how this entire thing works," He awkwardly chuckled, reaching into his bag to make sure he had his charger. This specific professor spoke at a mile a minute, so typing was the only way for him to copy down the notes. "You can do this, Casey," He tacked on to reassure her that everything would work out. Reaching over, he placed a gentle hand on top of her own to give it a small squeeze.

Alyssa placed the car in reverse and was about to pull out when she heard a knock on the window, startling her. "God, you scared me," She admitted, placing a hand over her rapidly beating heart. Clearing her throat, she figured that it would not hurt to indulge Logan for a bit. "I was just looking for Jared and completely forgot he had class," Alyssa explained with a small shake of the head since she was usually on top of remembering things. Looking over at him, she could not help but notice that Logan just had quite the workout. His entire shirt was drenched in sweat from his run, but it suited him in a way. "I should probably get going. I mean, you probably want to take a shower and everything. Don't want to waste your time," She quickly explained in hopes of the conversation ending.

"Ya I did. It's set for Friday at 3 after my last class." Casey said softly with a small smile. "Thanks I hope I can. I'm not completely sure if I'm ready for all of this but I don't really have any other choice." She stated smiling again at his attempt to reassure her. He'd always been so sweet to her, he reminded her of a time when things were different a better time but things changed and they got hard it was just the way life went she supposed. She'd move forward though and work things out on her own like she always did but truth was she was terrified.

Logan frowned slightly at Alyssa's attempt to get rid of him though it only made him want to try a little harder. He knew she wasn't going to be easy and he always did enjoy the challenge. "You sure you didn't want a drink? You did come all the way here." He said thankful for the distraction of Alyssa to get his thought's off of Casey and his... situation. He wanted to think about it as little as humanly possible but even his run hadn't done exactly what it was supposed and clear his mind completely.

"Okay, good. I'm glad," He responded back since Casey was always organized and responsibly. It did not surprise him to hear that she had already made preparations for the baby. "You'll be ready. Obviously, it's not something that you planned for but.. you'll be fine," Jared reiterated, completely sure that she would make it through this. Glancing down at his watch, it looked like he had a few more minutes until his next class started. "What class do you have next anyway?" He asked, not remembering the classes she was taking this semester. After Casey started dating Logan, Jared and Casey started to distance from each other and merely waved to each other in the hallways, but he knew that she needed support right now. He was there to give it to her.

Alyssa could sense that he was displeased with her answer. As if she would show up to Jared's house looking for him. She was already taken and was not about to let Logan persuade her otherwise. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I'm fine. Just going to, uh, return home," She responded, tapping lightly on the steering wheel. There was no need for her to be in the parking lot any longer anyway. "Have a nice day, Logan," Alyssa concluded with a small smile.

"Biology. I think I'm going to go study before that. I just got through the most boring lecture of my life and I need to review my notes cause I really wasn't paying attention." Casey admitted with a slight smile as she looked over at Jared before pulling out her phone and texting her study partner. She needed to keep her mind as busy as she could. "What do you have next?"

"Alright." Logan said simply as he stepped away from the car running a hand through his hair. He was pretty much off his game right now he didn't have anything to say nothing smart or witty or flirty and it was all Casey's fault. "See you around." He said as he turned around sighing.
