The Hunger Games

Katiness sat in the room that her and Peeta were in for the games. They had decided to leave Katiness and Peeta out of the games since Peeta pulled the 'pregnancy' card so now everyone thinks that she's pregnant. She looked up when Peeta walked in and glared at him, shaking her head. "You realize what this means, right? Now we're literally going to have to have a baby. We're screwed, Peeta!"

@ Queen of Winchester;

"It's going to be fine Katniss I promise." Peeta said as he walked into the room and was basically yelled at as soon as he opened the door. He got that she was freaked out, and honestly he was a little freaked out to because well now they were going to be expected to have a baby and get married, and everything. But one of the bright sides he supposed was as of right now they didn't have to go back into that arena. And honestly he was thankful for that because even with allies in there they were the youngest, they were freshest, and there was no way either of them really stood a chance with all the other previous victors. And if anything he wanted to deal with one issue at a time.

Katiness stood up and threw her hands in the air. "We are so not going to be able to have a baby, Peeta! We didn't even have sex and now I'm going to have to get pregnant. And they want us to live in the capital after the baby comes," she said as the feeling of defeat started to crawl over her body. She placed her face in her hands and sighed quietly as she sat back down. "What are we going to do? Because I have no idea what's going to happen from here on out."

@ Hemmings.

"I haven't figured that out yet." Peeta told her walking over to her and taking a seat on the bed next to her. "But we'll think of something we will." He told her putting his arm over her shoulder. He knew she'd never been big on things like this, but he wanted to comfort her and this was the best way he knew how to do that. "You just can't give up yet. Whatever happens we're in this together and we're not going to let them win." He told her knowing that he wouldn't let President Snow or anyone else who might've actually supported the games win. It just wasn't happening, and at this point he didn't care what it took to not let them win he wouldn't let them. So they had to think of something.

Katiness leaned into Peeta's side and closed her eyes as she relaxed against him. She knew they would figure this out eventually but it scared her because she didn't know what could come of it. "Looks like we're going to have to figure out how to make a baby without anyone realizing I haven't been pregnant," she told Peeta quietly as she looked up at him with a small smile.

Peeta rubbed Katniss' arm softly and rested his head on top of her own and sighed. He supposed they would have to figure out how to make a baby without anyone knowing she hadn't already been pregnant. Of course he did figure that if they were lucky enough to somehow get pregnant on their first try everything'd be fine. Because well it wasn't like anyone thought Katniss was that far along anyways, and it wasn't uncommon for babies to not come on exact due dates. Honestly he was starting to wonder how things could get much worse for them, but he knew that wasn't a good thing to think because he was sure they could. And he really didn't want to know what could be worse. After all at least both him and Katniss were still alive and well, and as of right now they didn't have to worry about fighting in the games again.

Katiness relaxed against Peeta and sighed quietly while biting down on her bottom lip gently as she stared out the window of the building they were in. She looked up at Peeta, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion at the look on his face. "President Snow wanted us to seem like we were in love.. I believe we proved that. But now we're going to have to have sex for the first time when as that one girl said, 'everyone wants you'," she quoted with a frown. All she could think of was Gale and how she was going to be hurting him and probably already was hurting him by Peeta saying she was pregnant on television that airs for everyone in all of the districts to see.

Peeta did his very best to comfort Katniss. He knew this was hard for though, honestly it was hard for him too. The biggest difference though was that he actually did love Katniss and he knew she didn't exactly feel the same way. No matter though he wasn't going to let anything bad happen to her, he couldn't let anything bad happen to her. It didn't matter what he had to do to keep them both safe he was going to do it. Honestly, he still wished sometimes that things could be different. And often he thought of what it would be like if the games had never been invented or what it would be like if they ended altogether. He wasn't sure he'd ever see a day when they weren't around though.
