Sirius' excitement for returning to Hogwarts brimmed over at the top and was only slightly taken away when both James and Lily had to leave for their meeting with this years prefects. He and Remus swapped stories of the summer, those of which didn't involve each other. All of Sirius' stories centered around the Potter's since this had been the first full summer he spent with them. His mind fluttered around stories and the train ride passed quickly.
When they arrived and filed into the dining hall, Sirius fell onto one of the hard benches with extreme effort. He ruffled his messy black locks over his face and mustered a sort of smirk at his friends. "This is it, boys," he said, clapping Remus on the shoulder, "The big one! This whole school is our playground," he said, chuckling slightly. Remus made a face, as if to scold him, and Lily began muttering about N.E.W.T.S this year, but Sirius easily dismissed them. As much as it dismayed him that his time at Hogwarts would soon be ending, he was so elated to be back that it didn't matter.
"Personally, Moony, I think go big this year, bigger than ever before! We have to create something really amazing, leave a legacy," he added, leaning back in his seat. "I mean, look at all this li'l ones" he said, gesturing to the first years who were twiddling their thumbs, "Someone will need to replace us," he said, smirking. Although, to be honest, as Sirius scanned the staff who sat along side Dumbledore, he wondered if a seat would ever open for him.
It was this thought that he resonated on as the Sorting Hat began his tale.

Bella walked down Knockturn Alley, her head lifted high as a she hurried to Borgin and Burkes, knowing very well this was the place to meet Lord Voldemort. They had to find more Giants to recruit, the war was drawing close. Bella could feel it in her bones, the excitement of finally putting everyone in their places. She licked her lips, her fingers itching for more teachings. She knew as they moved endlessly through the countryside, there would be time for more lessons. Although she was already extremely skilled, she knew there was so much more to learn from her Lord.
She walked into Borgin and Burkes, catching a glimpse of the ornate ring on her finger. She sneered, remembering her impending marriage, an honorable Pureblood marriage, but one she didn't want. She moved her eyes around Borgin and Burkes before slipping behind a curtain and being faced with her Lord once again. Although she remembered how his chestnut curls had once fallen around his face, she found a familiar excitement in her bones at his appearance slowly became more snakelike; he was the truest Slytherin of them all.
"My Lord," she said, curtsying.
