Lila frowned as Mikkie sat down. "Different... how?" she asked him and took another bite. Sure she was a little spacey but there has been a lot happen and so much has changed. It was understandable if it took her a little longer to adjust.

Mikkie shrugged, "I'm not sure, you sure you are okay," he asked. He pulled her close, "you can talk to me if you want to," he said

Lila leaned her head onto him and sighed. "It's just a lot Mikkie give me some time to adjust." she said and smiled looking up at him. "I love you." she said and cupped his cheek bringing his lips to hers. She rested back against him a bit before she sighed. "Alright let me finish my food then we can go hang out with your parents until dinner." she said softly.

Mikkie nodded and kissed ehr back, "of course, I love you too," he said. He stepped back to let her finish eating. He couldn't take his eyes off of her.

Lila finished eating but she could feel Mikkie watching her. She didn't know how to help him. She needed to take care of herself now.

Mikkie smiled and moved to the kitchen to get himself a drink, before heading into the lounge. His mother handed his son to him, "he wants his daddy," she said softly

Lila finished up and cleaned up the kitchen. She came out and watched Mikkie with Orion and smiled softly. It melted her heart and made a tightening in her gut to see him with their son. He was going to be an amazing father. She loved the way his face shinned as he looked at Orion and she couldn't help but feel like she wasn't going to be the one that screwed everything up. Regardless a soft smile played on her lips and she moved over to them and leaned down kissing Karla's cheek. This was her mother to be and she was so excited to have Karla and Ben as her family now officially. Lila moved over to Mikkie and sat beside him. She smiled at him and rubbed his shoulder.

Mikkie smiled and looked at his love, and continued to entertain the little one. He looked at his parents, glad that they were here to help out. He lent over and kissed Lila, "you look beautiful as always my love," he said gently

Lila smiled softly. "Thank you love." she said and caressed his cheek. When Oliver started to cry she knew what he needed. "Okay let's get you changed then we'll come say goodnight." she said and picked up Oliver the weight of him feeling unreal in her arms.

Mikkie nodded, "that sounds good, thanks babe," he said softly. He shifted and left her to go change him, before turning to talk with his parents briefly.

Lila went to the bedroom and picked up the bag moving to the bed and setting everything up while she held Oliver before placing him on the little mat. She went through changing him being her careful and precise. She was still pretty sore and it was almost weird to move without thinking of her belly in the way. She finished up and put Oliver in a onesie for bed before carrying him back out to everyone to say goodnight.

Mikkie grinned seeing her come back, he moved over and kissed her, and then Orion. His parents then came over to say goodnight, to the baby. Mikkie smiled at Lila, "I can go put him to bed if you want me too," he said softly

Lila let Mikkie take him as she nodded. "Goodnight." she said to Mikkie's parents. Lila looked around the apartment and sighed. Tomorrow they should hear from the hospital. Lila walked around cleaning things up. she felt like the baby was taking over everything and she didn't know how to take this change.

Mikkie smiled and took his son into the room to put him to bed. After five minutes he came back, he put his arms around Lila. "Hey beautiful, shall we get you a wine?" he asked gently.

Lila looked at Mikkie as he suggested wine and it dawned on her she could drink again. "Yes." she smiled and slipped down into the couch.

Mikkie smiled and nodded, he moved to get her a drink. "Then we can cuddle up, I'm sure you are tired," he said

Lila nodded. She had been tired since she finished labor and she was half convinced that she was never going to get sleep again. "Sounds perfect." she said and pulled her bare feet into the couch. When Mikkie came back with her wine she took the glass and took a sip humming. She grinned as he sat next to her and she melted into his side.

Mikkie smiled and cuddled up with her, he wrapped his arms around her. "So beautiful, do you want me to do anything? massage, oil you?" he asked softly

Lila smiled and looked up at him. "Not until after my wine. For now just hold me." she said and ran her hand up behind his neck to pull him closer to her. "I love you Mikkie. You are so good to me. I don't deserve how good you are to me."

Mikkie smiled gently, "of course, and you are so good to me aswell," he said softly. He held her close to him, and kissed her neck as she continued to drink her wine.
