Vivian smiled at Mikkie softly. "She doesn't trust us Mikkie. There can't be anything if she doesn't trust us and even if I did make you submit to her, that's not what she wants so that's not going to fulfill your need. Because you've tried her dominating before and though as I heard she didn't do a terrible job it wasn't like it was with me was it? She wants your pleasure and hers but I want your submission, pleasure is secondary." she smiled softly. He seemed a little calmer now. "I am obviously going to be in both of your lives for a while to come so I'm not saying it's out of the question but first we have to work on our relationship with Lila individually and earn her trust back. How do you think you would have felt if you where in a threeway relationship with Lila and another man then against your rules she did something with that other man? Would you be able to trust her with that man again?" Vivian sighed softly. "And Mikkie I know this is a lot for you but Lila is still broken. She needs therapy. She was raped, had a baby she wasn't ready for, had to give up her dreams, then had postpartum depression, and was betrayed by her best friend and her life partner. She's been through a lot. You have your own issues and you can't fix her on your own but you can help her get help and you can even go with her. Maybe some therapy for you together can help rebuild some trust." she said and squeezed his knee.

Mikkie looked at her and nodded, "Yeah I think you are right, I need to focus on Lila," he said softly. He smiled weakly at her, "Perhaps you should go, and come back in a few days, we can work all of this out, hopefully," he said softly. He patted her hand, "I won't make you deal with this alone," he said softly.

Vivian smiled softly at Mikkie. "Okay. I'll call you in a couple days and see how things are and let you know more about the appointment." she said and squeezed his hand. "Be careful with Lila Mikkie. She doesn't know it yet but you needs you right now more than she wants to." she said and then stood. She wobbled a little then chuckled and rubbed her belly moving down to her car.

Lila was curled up in a ball on the floor completely catatonic. She stared off into space seeing nothing the tears still glittering on her cheeks and eyelashes.

Mikkie took a few moments to steady himself. He didn't deal with Lila being upset very easily. He walked back into the apartment, and put the kettle on. He walked down to their room, "Lila, my love, can I come in?" he asked through the door.

Lila didn't answer. She didn't even hear him. She was so far out of it. Usually Mikkie could pull her out of it but this was a bad episode. Her thoughts where loud, crippling even. That's it I've lost him. He will move on because I can't give him the happy family he wants. I can't satisfy his needs. He'll take Orion and I'll just be that woman he use to take care of. It's over. He wouldn't want me anyways I'm broken. I can't even get up off this floor right now. She blinked a tear falling out and trickling down her nose.

Mikkie grew worried as he didn't hear a response. He grew more and more anxious. He was scared about what Lila was doing, how upset she'd been.

*Crash*, the sound echoed through the house, as Mikkie feel through the bedroom door, slamming against the floor. His foot sore, from kicking it in.

Lila flinched and curled tighter into a ball the tears falling faster from her eyes a hiccup echoing through her uneven breath.

Mikkie stood up and moved over to her, he frowned as he looked down at her, "Lila, it's okay," he said softly. He shifted to put his arm around her shoulders

Lila shook harder as his arms moved around her. She didn't want to be held. Touch wasn't a comfort to her like this, not when it felt so restrictive at least. She didn't realize she was whimpering through her sobs. Lila hadn't had a break down like this since before Orion was born.

Mikkie continued to hold her and ran his fingers through her hair. "It's okay, I'm here, I'll always be here," he said gently. He kissed at her cheek softly, "come on, lets get you into bed, and I'll make you a tea," he suggested

Lila felt herself slowly starting to come back as he stroked her hair. She shivered but her sobbing started to recede and her breath started to even. She couldn't quite talk or move yet but she felt herself relaxing and her eyes drifted shut sleepily though she tried to blink them open. Her body had used up all her energy in her panic.

Mikkie continued to calm her, and stroke her hair. Once she was able, he helped her off the floor and into thier bed. He was so worried about her, and what was going on in her mind with all of this

Lila finally fell into the bed and her eyes drifted closed. She curled up into a ball letting sleep take her and push her troubles out of her mind.

Mikkie stayed with her, and kept comforting her as she slept. He felt so confused with the whole situation, on one hand he was so happy, and wanted to celebrate with Vivian, on the other Lila was so hurt by this

Lila woke in the morning feeling just as tired as whens he went to sleep. She slipped out of bed pulling on her hoodie as she moved to the kitchen. She filled a glass with water from the sink before taking a deep drink.

Mikkie was still sprawled out on the bed, having stayed with her all night. He didnt shift as she woke, himself, still exhausted from the experience.

Lila was so confused. Why was this happening to her. Hadn't she been a good person, and yet one thing after another. Nothing seemed to go her way, the right way. Was this how Mikkie usually felt? How did he function if it was like this for him. She knotted her brows. After she finished her water she sat on the couch her head in her hands. What was she going to do. She couldn't loose Mikkie and yet here was Vivian who was the dominate she wasn't, happy to have his baby and would love him just as deeply. She could loose him if he realized that Vivian was a better fit for him.

Mikkie was still lying there asleep, trying to regain his energy. He was so confused by the whole mess of things. He still loved Lila more than anything, but now he had to be there for Vivian too.

Lila needed to see Orion. She needed to get away from this. To gain some perspective. She got up and quietly packed a bag grabbing her purse before writing a note for Mikkie. Went to your parents to see Orion. She sighed it and left locking the door, taking the long drive down to his parents.

Mikkie eventually woke, and made his way through the apartment, looking for Lila, his anxiety building steadily as he couldn't find her. He was in a near panic attack when he finally noticed the note, she'd left. He stood just staring at it, unsure of what to do, how to react. He was still just standing holding the note, as the afternoon came, and Vivian knocked on the door.
