@ A Drop On the Window Lila chuckled. "That's true but I wouldn't even if you did something stupid that I didn't." she said and smiled. "There are good people out there." she said and sighed laying her head on his shoulder eating her sandwich slowly. "Besides if they judge you they will have to answer to me." she giggled and looked up at him.
Mikkie smiled lightly, "I know you wouldn't that's why we're friends," he said softly. Mikkie giggled, "I know there are but, I just don't like people much, you know me," he said softly
@ A Drop On the Window Lila nodded. "Yeah. I do know you." she said and sighed. "That's why I worry about you." she said and finished her sandwich. Lila sighed. "We should be heading back soon." she said and laid her head back on his shoulder closing her eyes.
@ A Drop On the Window Lila smiled softly. "No... yes kinda." she said and chuckled. "But we have two more classes today." she said and sighed. "Then I need to call the landlord and find somewhere other to sleep than my car for the week." she said revealing that she had been sleeping in her car.
@ A Drop On the Window Lila looked up at him. "You sure?" she asked and smiled as she sat up looking at him. Only Mikkie could draw out a confession like that from her and offer a simple solution on the spot.
Mikkie smiled lightly, "of course, it'll be fun, we can watch a movie, and make a night of it, catch up on everything," he said softly as he stood up to head to the next class
@ A Drop On the Window Lila grinned. "Alright but we need to get some homework in there too." she said and chuckled standing and walking with him back toward the college carrying her giant bag.
Mikkie frowned, "awh boo, always trying to get things down, never let me have any fun," he teased as he walked with her back towards the college. He moved close into her as they moved into the crowded hallways of the college.
@ A Drop On the Window Lila laughed. "We always have fun." she said and poked his side. As they got into a public place she sighed and wiggled under his arm and kissed his cheek. "Hey now it's okay." she said and hugged his side as they headed toward class.
Mikkie nodded lightly, "thank you," he said softly. He kept moving trying to keep his eyes on her, or the floor. He sighed softly, as they walked into class
@ A Drop On the Window Lila frowned. He had gotten a lot worse than she had seen him in a long time. She bit her lip and soothed him until they got into class. He relaxed a little and she got him into a seat handing him some water. "How are you feeling?" Lila asked and pushed his hair back out of his face.
@ A Drop On the Window Lila nodded. "I know." she said softly and kissed his head. She sat back and pulled out her things. "Three more hours then it's just you and me." she said and smiled at him. Lila grinned and then sat back. She really was worried about Mikkie and she was going to have to get him to talk about what happened when she left.
Lila took his hand to help him relax. She was surprised by how bad it had gotten. It hadn't been that bad since the first day they meet in middle school. The school assembly was the most terrifying thing to Mikkie and he had made a run for it but tripped into her sending both of them to the nurses office with head bumps. He followed her around for days after that as if he thought she had saved him. She never did fully understand that but when she had been bullied by another girl Mikkie had been there and he protected her and soothed her pain. He built her confidence always reassuring her, encouraging her and they had been best friends ever since.
