Laila frowned. She looked up at him. "We will do our best Mikkie but if I keep the baby it will take up a lot of time for a long while and unless Chris is willing to babysit I don't know that we will be able to go out much if at all." she squeezed his hand softly. "If we do this it will change out lives radically." she said. Laila knew the longer she was pregnant the more she would know what she wanted, the more she would feel a connection but right now it seemed better for her to give the baby up but it made her sad even now to even think about it and that was what worried her.

Mikkie held her close, "I know we'll be busy with the baby, but even just five minutes every now and then, I hope we can at least manage that," he said. He rubbed her belly lightly, "If it's mine, I'm sure it'll co-operate," he teased.

"Well the baby has to nap and play so I am sure we can steal five minutes just to cuddle and enjoy each other." she assured him smiling. He rubbed her belly and she frowned not sure if he was talking to her or the embryo growing inside of her. She placed her hand over his. "Oh Mikkie you have to remember it has me in it. I'm a stubborn one." she kissed his cheek lacking their hands. "Come on let's keep going." She said hoping to distract from the baby situation again.

Mikkie nodded, "well I sure hope so," he said softly. He looked at her and nodded, "okay, lets keep going," he said lightly. He walked with her across the park.

Laila smiled and kissed his cheek. They walked some more until she was feeling tired. "Let's go home and snuggle on the couch." she said.

Mikkie laced his fingers with hers, "that sounds perfect my love," he said softly. He pulled her close, and kissed her, before stepping back and heading back to their apartment with her.

Mikkie was emotionally confused, he was glad she seemed to feeling so much better, but it was odd for him to be the one protecting her.

Laila got into their place going and changing into comfy cloths and sitting on the couch. She pulled the blanket over her and smiled at Mikkie opening the blanket invitingly.

Mikkie smiled softly and took off his coat. He made his way to the couch, and sat down with her under the blanket. "Laila, you are so beautiful," he said softly. He kissed her cheek.

Laila smiled turning on the tv. "Thanks love." she said smiling and seeing to glow. she loved Mikkie and the way he made her feel. She flipped through movie titles before finding one she knew they would like and putting it on snuggling into him.

Mikkie grinned and cuddled up with her. He began massaging her belly lightly. "How are you feeling my love?" he asked her lightly. He really was in love with this woman, and would do anything for her.

Laila chuckled and placed her hand over his. "That feels weird babe." she said softly. "I'm feeling fine, a little sleepy, why?" she asked him. What did he have on his mind that was making his so worried?

Mikkie smiled softly and kissed her cheek, 'Sorry," he said softly. He cuddled up with her, "Yeah, I'm sleepy too," he admitted. He closed his eyes, and snuggled up with her, drifting into a light sleep easily.

It was getting late so after the show ended Laila stood and gently woke Mikkie. "Hey lets go to bed." she said and took his hand getting him into the bedroom and they crawled into bed together after changing. she curled up to him her head laying on his chest.

Mikkie woke gently, "oh hey," he whispered. He followed her into the bedroom, and climbed into bed with her. He kissed her cheek, "Night my love," he whispered. He put his arms around her gently, and drifted back to sleep.

During the night Mikkie started dreaming about her, and his child. A pleasant dream, playing together in the park, as Laila sat on a blanket reading.

Laila woke in the morning and sat up feeling off again but not like she was going to throw up. Still she got up and headed to the kitchen getting a drink of ginger ale. She sat at the counter sipping it.

Mikkie woke up, and grew concerned when Laila wasn't next to him in the bed. He stretched before climbing out of the bed, pulling on a shirt, and heading out to the kitchen. He cracked a small smile when he saw her, "morning, how are you feeling my beautiful love," he asked softly.

He moved over to the sink and poured himself a glass of water. He felt bad that she had to suffer the effects of being pregnant, but hoped if she needed anything she'd let him know.

Laila smiled at Mikkie as he walked in and she turned sitting on the counter. She shrugged and set her drink down. "I have a feeling here soon I won't be feeling rather poorly in the morning often." She admitted and sighed. "I'm alright right now." she said.

Mikkie smiled softly, and moved closer, "Yeah unfortunately, but you know you will always have me to do anything you need,' he told her. He kissed her cheek, "but come on lets get ready for class," he said lightly.

Laila smiled softly as he moved closer and kissed her cheek. "Hey." she said grabbing his wrist as he started to move away. She pulled him back and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "You don't always have to be my protector. Sometimes it's okay to just love me and show it." she said and looked at him her eyes smothering. She grinned and let her head fall to the other side as she slowly leaned in looking from his lips to his eyes with that heat in her eyes before she kissed him. She hummed softly before sitting back after a nice smoldering kiss. She grinned. "Okay lets go to school." she said and patted his chest getting down and walking towards their room.
