Lila nodded and headed out to the kitchen to eat with Mikkie. She would eat then go get ready. "How did you sleep?" she asked as Mikkie served her. He really was the best boyfriend ever. She wished she could make all this up to him but she just didn't have the energy recently. This was a lot.

Mikkie smiled weakly, "I slept okay, how about you beautiful?" he asked softly. He dished up their breakfast, and moved into the kitchen, to clean up the dishes quickly. He turned looking at her, "We have that doctor's thing today right?" he asked.

Laila shrugged. She didn’t sleep well like she use to. Before Mikkie made it to the kitchen she stopped him by touching his arm and placing a kiss on his lips. She nodded as he mentioned the doctors again then stood to go get ready to go to that.

Mikkie smiled and kissed her back. He continued to work cleaning up the house, while he waited for her to finish getting ready for their doctor's visit. He was nervous about what was going to happen.

Once she was ready they got in her car and Mikkie drove them to the appointment as Laila stared out the window. She bit her lip and sighed as the doctors office came into view. They parked and walked in and her eyes widened as she saw Chris sitting there. He looked up from a magazine looking uncomfortable but relaxed some as he saw Laila. Laila waved then went to sun in before sitting next to him the seat beside her empty for Mikkie.

The tension and worry inside Mikkie only grew as the drive to the appointment was silent. HE didn't know what to think, or how to react, he needed Laila to guide him on how someone should act in this situation. Mikkie knew however she had much more important things on her mind.

Once at the office, Mikkie walked over with Laila and sat down.

Lila sat with both her guys. Chris started to chuckle after a while. "We better start smiling or the pregnant ladies are going to notice we don't belong and jump us." He tease making Lila snicker. "It's just you they will beat with those baby kicks." She teased back in a whisper.

Mikkie sat with them, he kept quiet. He was lost in thought, and feeling a little anxious to be truthful. He didn't know how finally learning who was the father would make him feel.

Lila took Mikkie's hand as the nurse came out calling her and she stood moving into the beck both men in tow. She handed Mikkie her purse and kicked off her shoes before stepping onto the scale. Once she got off she slipped her shoes on and then moved with the nurse taking her purse. She sat down in the exam room nervously.

Mikkie tried to keep a smile on his face, tried to seem positive. The trouble was, Lila was his best friend, she would be able to tell, his smile and attitude was fake. He was truly freaking out. He was nervous, he needed to know the truth, not that it would change anything. He would still love her, and whatever decision she ended up making he would support.

As the nurse moved out of he room Mikkie looked at Lila, who had started to show, and who's breasts had started to grow slightly, and he raised her hand kissing it gently. "I love you, no matter what, you will always have me, no matter what happens today okay," he said softly.

Lila nodded and bit her lip. "Can you both give me a moment with the doctor?" she asked. She had come to at least one decision after much debate with herself. When she and the doctor where alone she told the doctor what she wanted to do. The doctor advised her and then let the boys back in and Lila sat up looking at both men as they came in. "Thank you both... I have decided against the genetic testing but I am going to raise the child." she bit her lip gently. "The genetic testing is too invasive of a process in the womb for both me and the baby." she said placing a hand on her stomach. "I hope you will both respect this decision." she said and could tell Chris was upset with the decision. He wanted to know if he was responsible for the baby or not. "What are you going to put on the birth record Lila? Who will you name the father?" he asked and Lila shook her head. "That I still have time for and would like to talk to you both about but not now." she said and Chris curled his hand. "I need a walk." he said and turned leaving. Lila looked upset and looked down half expecting Mikkie to follow him.

Mikkie looked at her, a little confused but moved closer. He put his hand on hers, 'I'm okay with that, you know I'll always be here for you, and the little one, no matter what,' he said lightly. He put his arm around her shoulder, "other than that decision, how did the appointment go, everything progressing normally?" he asked her.

Lila looked up at him and bit her lip. "The nurse is going to come in and we're going to look at the baby again before we leave. Everything else is progressing healthy." she said and reached up cupping his cheek and kissing him. "Thank you Mikkie." She said softly.

Mikkie smiled softly and kissed her back, he then bent down kissing her belly lightly. "I can't wait to meet you," he whispered. He looked back up at her, "I'm here with you, do you mind if I stay while she looks at the baby?" he asked.

Lila kissed him back then relaxed grinning as he kissed and talked to her belly. She nodded as he asked to stay. “Of course you can stay.” Lila said and took his hand the nurse came in and soon enough they where looking at the baby listening to the heart beat. What Lila didn’t notice was Chris slipping in looking at the baby and listening too.

Mikkie grinned, "thank you," he said. He sat quietly and watched, holding her hand tight. He thanked the nurse, and turned to Lila, "ready to go home my love?" he asked.

When the appointment was over she nodded as Mikkie suggested they go home. When walked out into the parking lot and Chris was leaning up against the hood of her car. "Lila can we talk a moment?" he said and glanced at Mikkie. Lila nodded and squeezed Mikkie's hand. "Wait for me in the car?" she asked him and then stepped away towards the curb with Chris.

Mikkie nodded and kissed her cheek, "I'll be here," he said softly. He climbed into the car and waited patiently for her return. He was excited about the baby, and hoped that it truly was his, he felt he'd make a great father.

Lila stood on the curb in front of the car so Mikkie could see her and she could see Mikkie as she talked with Chris. It wasn't long before their talking became arguing. She tossed her hands about and he shook his open palms back at her. Lila finally shook her head and then shook her hand dismissing whatever he had said. She went to walk away and Chris grabbed her arm. She spun on him and yanked her arm out of his hand. She was yelling again for a moment and when she stormed back to the car she wrapped her arms around herself as she walked. Lila slipped into the car on the brink of tears. "Mikkie please take us home." she said and sniffled as she buckled in. She needed some chinese and to sit in bed watching netflix.

Mikkie was concerned, it annoyed him that Chris and her had a fight. He smiled softly, and drove them home. He didn't, speak, wanting her to break the silence first. He pulled into the driveway at home, and shut off the car.
