Lila smiled. "You should ask. The worst the could say is no." she said and picked Chocolate Brownie Chunk. The guy behind the window scooped it out and into a cone before handing it to her. "And for you Sir?" the guy asked and Lila smiled at him lovingly.

Mikkie smiled and nodded softly, he stepped forward. "Hey could I get a scoop of peanut butter," he asked softy. He paused for a moment, "hey, if we gave you our address would you deliver for a couple extra dollars if we called an order through, this place is pur favourite dessert place," he asked. It was something mikkie would never have asked before.

Lila leaned into his back and kissed his cheek so proud of him. The man tilted his head thinking about it. "We don't really have a delivery service but where do you live?" he asked. If it was close it shouldn't be an issue. Lila told him and he nodded. "Yeah we can do that for a loyal customer." he smiled and Lila grinned.

Mikkie grinned and looked at him, "awesome thanks so much, we are just around the corner, you would be doing us a huge service," he said softly. He pulled Lila closer to him.

Lila tucked under his arm. Once they had payed she walked out with him and licked her ice cream. "I'm so proud of you." she said looking up at him and smiled.

Mikkie smiled softly and held her close, "thanks, you make me able to do things like that," he said softly. He kissed her cheek, "lets get home," he said

Lila smiled. "Let's go home." she echoed and laced her free hand in his before walking with him. When they got home she slipped in and smiled at Mikkie as she watched him. she couldn't believe she was getting married. She had no one to call and tell really. No one that mattered. "We should call your mother." she said knowing his family would want to know and she wanted them to know.

Mikkie grinned and moved over to her kissing her again, "yes we definitely should call her," he said cheerfully. He moved into the kitchen and disposed of the rubbish from their ice creams. "Then I want to just enjoy being with you, some more," he said gently.

"Oh sweetie it's you. How are you?" his mother asked. Lila smiled. "We're good. We have some news." she said and looked at Mikkie.

Mikkie smiled softly, and pulled Lila closer, "Is dad around?" he asked softly. He kissed Lila gently.

"Yeah let me get him from the gurage." She said. As they waited Lila kissed Mikkie softly. When Mikkie's parents were on the phone she nudged him. "We're here son." His father said and Lila smiled. "We have some good news." she said.

Mikkie smiled softly and shifted closer to her. "I found the right moment," he said softly through the phone. He looked at Lila, "and asked Lila to marry me," he said softly

Lila beamed. "And I said yes of course." she kissed him as his mother squealed with delight and his father said how proud he was of his son and how excited he was to have Lila a part of the family but she couldn't hear them. She was focused on the love she had with Mikkie.

Mikkie chuckled softly, "we are going to wait for a bit though, so no need to freak out too much," he said softly.

Lila smiled and snuggled into his chest as his mother rattled on about everything. She was so happy to hear their joy. It was almost an hour later when they got off and Lila yawned. "I'm ready for bed how about you handsome?"

Mikkie smiled and nodded and kissed her, "yes bed sounds lovely," he said softly. He took her hand, lets head to the bedroom," he said

Lila smiled and followed after him. She smiled as she closed the door to their room and she kicked off her shoes before squirming out of her pants. She tossed them in the hamper then took off her shirt and bra next. She was half tempted to crawl into bed just like this. She looked at her ring and smile.d She didn't want to take it off but it would be safer not to sleep with it.

Mikkie smiled and watched her strip off. "god you are beautiful my love," he said. He moved closer to her while she was naked, "would you want me to relieve some pressure for you, or perhaps continue the celebration?" he suggested softly as he pulled her to him
