Mikkie tugged on his sleeve as he walked into Westgate college with a bounce in his step. He was so glad to hear that Lila had been accepted into the same college as well. He still hadn't received his timetable yet so was on his way to the office. He was dressed the same as always, Black Jeans, tight black tee, and Chucks. He pulled his phone out to see if he had any messages. He was a rather disorganized guy, still not having found a place to stay for college, he was still just staying in a motel

Lila was in front of the main office knowing Mikkie needed his schedule too. She bounced anxiously. It had been a last minute acceptance but then she had put her plan into motion and now all she needed was a roommate. Lila hadn't seen Mikkie all summer. She had been abroad working on a wonderful internship. She had missed him so much. Lila saw him and squealed. She ran across the campus and flung her arms around him her hair becoming a mess but she didn't care she had her best friend back by her side where he belonged. She kissed his cheek and then pulled back after a long hung. "Mikkie!" she grinned and ran a hand through her soft hair to tame it back.

Mikkie grinned and lifted her up as she hugged him. "Lila, oh my god, I missed you," he almost yelled. He had worked all summer in the bookstore, just being himself. He saw her tanned skin and grinned, "how was your trip?" he asked lightly. He knew that she would be super organised for this year already, she'd probably planned each assignment to the tee, and even scheduled her own sick days.

Lila laughed happily. "Amazing." she said and took his hand leading him towards the office. "You will never guess the work that I got to do in Hati." she said and smiled talking away about her trip. She smiled. "And I have a place picked out to move into but... I need a roommate. I can't afford the rent on my own. But oh my gosh it is sucker freaking beautiful." she said looking at him and bit her bottom lip. "How about you, have you found somewhere yet?" Lila asked and swung their hands as she stopped in front of a door. He opened it for her and she slipped in. "Lila Fleur." she said to the receptionist handing over her brand new student id. She looked gorgeous in her picture as she did in most pictures. She had her schedule in no time then she stayed with Makkie as he got his. She leaned against his back looking over his shoulder as he tried to get his schedule.

Mikkie smiled softly, "Michelangelo Thomson," he announced, "that's right I'mma masterpiece," he said grinning lightly as he handed over his id. He turned to look at Lila, "still in a motel for now, haven't managed to find a place I'm comfortable in," he said softly. It was harder for him, despite his apparent confident externally, he had a problem with anxiety, and around people, not that it came up often due to him being on medication for it, but it made a good place to live important.

Lila giggled as he said his cocky remark. People would never know his dark side not like she did. "A motel?! Mikkie that is entirely unacceptable." she said and smiled as he got his list and she snatched it from his hands. She grinned. "Awe we have the same prerequisites." she said and chuckled. "Study parter it seems your skills are needed once again." Lila said and chuckled handing him his schedule back. "Let's get books. I think we got a little bit until we should get to our class." she said and put her paper neatly in her bag before linking her arm with his. "So was your summer?" she asked. Lila grinned as they walked toward the bookstore. Lila bit her lip thinking as they walked. "Hey Mikkie... What if you helped me get my apartment until you find somewhere and I get a roommate... It has two bedrooms." she said in a hurry nervously speaking.

Mikkie smiled sweetly, "summer was good, got lost in the other realms alot," he said softly speaking about books. He looked at her "you sure you can handle living with me? you know how I get," he said lightly. He walked with her into the bookstore, "eww Non-fiction," he whispered. He was glad they would be taking the same classes this year again

Lila giggled and nodded knowing how he was with his books. "The question is more of can you live with me." she said. When they were not together they ran in different social circles but yet somehow they both kept each other as friends. Maybe it had something to do with how much she loved to listen to him read to her on a warm summer night. Lila loved so many things about Mikkie. Lila was intense on her studies and his voice was a soothing distraction once in a while. Lila bit her lip lightly but laughed at his comment. He always made her smile and laugh. It was the best part of her day to see Mikkie. Lila picked up some books and handed another copy to him. "You don't have to Mikkie I just thought it would be nice to be with someone I know over a stranger..." she said and shrugged. Lila as well had her soft and unconfident side but mostly it had to do with Mikkie. He was the only one she was afraid to loose.

Mikkie smiled lightly, "you know, why not, lets do it," he said brightly looking at the textbook. He went around and quickly found all the books they needed, "It'll be fun, besides, we'll be able to save on textbooks, if we just share them," he said lightly

"You know I write all over my textbooks." she teased. Lila smiled and moved with him. "I am glad this is going to work out. "So after classes we can meet with the landlord and get the lease." she said and hugged his side then walked to the counter with her books. She created the lady and bought her books then waited for Mikkie. "So we could probably move in by Wednesday!" she said thinking of their class schedules. They had Wednesday afternoon off.

Mikkie smiled, "see this is why we're friends, you are so organised," he said lightly as he brought his textbooks. He put them in his backpack and laughed, "this is going to be annoying to carry around all day," he said

Lila giggled. "I think you can do it." she teased. "We are friends for more than my organization skills." she said and pulled her backpack on. "Let's go before we are late." she said and walked by his side. Lila walked into the class and sat down next to him. She pulled out a notepad and her book bitting the end of her pen as usual.

Mikkie chuckled, "I know, we are, but honestly you know I need someone to keep me on time for all the important things I do everyday, stopping the nuclear Apocalypse, caring for the homeless, fighting radicalist governments," he said jokingly. He sat next to her and looked around the class, there were more seats than he was expecting

Lila giggled. "Well that is true. Speaking of being late..." she teased and laid her head on his shoulder. "It is well past my nap time pillow now hold still!" she couldn't stop giggling as she laid on him. Lila was so happy and truly loved how after an entire summer apart they could so easily slip back into their friendship. "So you meet any hotties while I was away and more importantly did you ask them out?" she grinned and sat up hugging a knee to her chest. Lila rarely talked about relationships with him but every now and then it was a necessary thing.

Mattie looked down, "not many people come into an old bookstore, where exactly did you think I'd meet a girl?" he asked lightly. He hadn't really spoken to many people over the summer, apart from a few customers in the store. He wasn't great with people

Lila giggled and poked his side. "You have your devilish ways." she teased and kissed his cheek to cheer him up. The teacher walked in and she got serious her mind and eyes focused on the teacher. Lila was writing down important dates and such. Once they got a break she stretched and sipped her water turning to Mattie. "You excited as I am about this class?" Lila always seemed to say that.

Mattie looked at her lightly, "not really, sounds fairly run of the mill to me," he said lightly. He had taken only a few notes, and laughed loudly, "how are you feeling?" he asked softly

Lila giggled. "You know I love to learn." she said and slipped her feet into his lap. Lila grinned as she leaned back and smirked. "So Mattie tell me have you decided what you want to do for the rest of your life?" she asked and watched him. He was so beautiful his smile light up her world and honestly if she hadn't known him so long that smile would take a lot to get from him. Lila grinned and leaned forward taking his hand. "Mattie... I really missed you." she said softly.

Mattie smiled "I missed you more," he whispered lightly. He looked around the room hearing whispers about the room, "I haven't really thought about life much," he added. He grinned and lent forward writing, "the epitome of pointlessness," on her notes in pencil
