Jimmy woke up an hour later alone. He frowned and sighed. She could have at least have given him a kiss goodbye. He ran a frustrated hand through his hair and sat up before going to take a shower.
Austin opened the door and pulled her into his arms. He kissed her neck frowning as he smelled Jimmy on her but ignored it. He pulled back and kissed her softly. Austin lead her into the kitchen were he set her on the counter as he worked on making breakfast. "Hi." he said softly and looked over at her.

Kim sat on the counter and swung her legs back and forth gently while watching Austin cook breakfast. "Hey," she told him quietly. She was confused and a little curious as to what he could possibly want to talk about. She pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Jimmy. I'm sorry I had to go. I have some stuff I had to take care of.

Jimmy sighed reading the text. It was a typical answer. He sighed feeling like he knew what had happened and where she was now. One day and Austin already had her back. She had it bad for him.
Austin smiled and looked at her. "You made me nervous last time we talked. I wanted to make sure we were good."

Kim texted Jimmy one more time before answering Austin. Come later tonight and I'll cook you dinner and we can spend the night together. She sent the text before sighing at Austin's words. "I've never made you nervous before and now suddenly I make you nervous?" she asked with a sarcastic laugh. It really didn't make any sense.

Jimmy smiled guessing that she knew she hadn't been spending enough time with him.
'My place?' He texted back. He had never been to her place.
Austin sighed. "You never told me you loved me before and then kicked me out of your place because I can't say it back." he said and took her phone seeing it to the side as he placed his hands on her knees looking up at her.

Kim frowned at his words and wrapped her arms around his neck. She felt kind of bad hearing him say it the way he did because it made her seem like a major bitch. "I'm sorry, Austin. I didn't mean to do that to you. I just... I opened up to you and you shut me down. It really hurt," she told him quietly, glancing over at her phone.

Austin frowned. "I didn't mean to Kim. I honestly just don't have the capability to say that honestly to you right now with no regrets. I never want to regret anything I do with you Kim and I won't lie to you or lead you on. I promise." he said and cupped her cheek so she would look at him. "Hungry?" he asked and pulled back plating breakfast for her and handed her a plate.

Kim placed breakfast to the side, not wanting to admit that what he said hurt her but knowing she was going to have to tell him how she felt or things would never be the same between them. She hopped off the counter and grabbed her phone, clutching it in her hand. "No... What you're saying is you don't love me and you don't want to regret settling down with me," she said with a shake of her head. "Or rather, you probably already regret being with me," she said with a hint of a sad smile on her face. "I'll see you around," she muttered before heading for the door, tears forming in her eyes.

Austin frowned. "No that is not what I am saying Kim." he said and grabbed her wrist spinning her around. "If that was what I meant I would have said that and suggested we just be fuck buddies or friends with benefits. All I am saying is that I can't put a label on it. I can't hurt you like... like I hurt everyone else that mattered." he muttered looking down. He cared for her a lot but to say he loved her was just to much. He was broken how could she not see this.

Kim placed a hand on Austin's cheek and made him look up at her. She stared into his eyes with a slight frown on her face. "Austin... Why do you think so lowly of yourself?" she asked him quietly. "Why do you think that you're going to hurt me? If you haven't yet than I really don't think you ever will. You need to give yourself the benefit of the doubt, Austin," she told him softly.

Austin shook his head. "I can't risk it Kim." He said his eyes pained. "I can't hurt you and I could. Please please don't make me..." he begged for her to just know he cared for her and leave it alone. Austin sighed and shook his head. "I need you to understand Kim."

Kim snatched her wrist away from him and groaned quietly at his words. "You've got to be kidding me, Austin! Anyone could hurt me! And I could hurt you!" She exclaimed as she threw her hands up in the air in frustration. She didn't understand why he was so scared of hurting her when she'd rather it be him hurt her than anyone else. Especially since anyone in the world that she decided to be with could her hurt. "Id rather it be you who hurt me, Austin. And you know why? Because I know that if you hurt me that you didn't mean to. And if you didn't want to be with me anymore you had good reason to. But this isn't a good reason."

Austin shook his head feeling his eyes stinging. "I can't..." he shook his head. "I can't say it." he said and stepped back. "Kim..." Austin didn't know what to do. What to say to make her understand. Couldn't she see he cared? Couldn't she see it did he really have to say the words? Austin went to the table and sat down his head in his hands his back hunching over.

Kim watched Austin and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She wasn't expecting that reaction from him and she wasn't expecting to be the one to hurt him. She walked over hesitantly and placed a hand on his back, rubbing it gently as she bit down on her bottom lip gently to hold back the tears of guilt. "Austin, I'm sorry. I... I didn't mean to push you that far I just... I'm sorry," she said in a shaky voice. She didn't think it was that hard for him and that was why she pushed him that much.

Austin sighed and pulled her to him his face buried in her belly holding onto her but not looking at her. Austin had a lot of things he didn't talk about and there were many things no one knew except the courts who sealed and buried the records. Austin tried to get it together again. He sighed and stood after a while kissing her passionately his eyes a little red but dry. "I wish you could just see my actions as words Kim then you would know how I feel about you."

Kim frowned at his words and licked over her lips slowly, a soft sigh escaping her lips as he said that. "Austin... I'm sorry. But words are also important sometimes as well or else why would deaf people have to be able to learn how to sign?" she asked him, trying to make a point. "I just want to hear you say it, even if it's only one time," she mumbled, burying her face in his shoulder since that's about where her head reached.

Austin nodded and rubbed her back. "Alright... but give me time... I want to at least make it my own words and special..." He sighed running a hand through her hair. "Don't be surprised if I screw it up though." he said softly and kissed her head. "Can you do that for me?"

Kim nodded her head slightly and smiled a bit, kissing Austin gently. "I'm going to go home and get into the shower. I have something to do tonight and I feel dirty," she admitted. She hadn't showered since she had sex with Austin the day before and as good as the sex was, she didn't need to go around smelling like it and letting her body soak up the sex sweat.

Austin chuckled and kissed her back. "You are but not in the bad way." he said and winked. "I'll walk you out... are you sure you don't want to eat the now cold breakfast I made?" he chuckled looking at it. "I wouldn't you know I am not the best cook." she said and kissed her head. He had tried and that was the point. Austin looked down at her phone as another text came in. He sighed and put his arm around her shoulder to lead her out.
Jimmy texted Kim again confused as to were she wanted to met and it was important because if she wanted to come here tonight he needed to kick everyone out so they wouldn't bother her. Many of his band mates liked to tease.

Kim smiled as she walked out of the house with Austin, kissing his cheek as she sighed softly in content. "I like being dirty," she teased as she wiggled her eyebrows suggestively while laughing softly. "And I know you're not so I'll pass. Plus, I'm not too hungry," she admitted. She stopped at her car door and turned to Austin with a smile, leaning up to kiss him gently. "I love you Austin, and I seriously cannot wait to hear you say those words back to me," she murmured, reminding herself to respond to Jimmy's text after she left.
