Annabelle sat down at the edge of the Huntington Beach pier sighing softly to herself as tried to keep herself from crying. She had just had her first really bad fight with her boyfriend of a year. He had ended up smacking her across the face and before either of them could do or say anything else Annabelle ran away. She had left her phone and everything at Zack's place so she was cold and alone, hoping people would just keep ignoring her.

Zacky felt horrible for what he had done to Annabelle. He'd lost his temper and let his anger get the best of him, and hadn't thought before he reacted. It was repulsive and stupid, and he needed to find her and make sure she knew how sorry he was. He walked around, looking for her, until he found her on the pier. He walked over and bit his lip hard as he stood behind her. "Annie?" he murmured.

Annabelle sniffles, wiping her tears away when she heard Zack call her name. She took a deep breath and slowly turned to face him. "Promise me it won't happen again," she mumbled. She couldn't be with someone who hit her ever especially since she had witnessed first hand what it had done to her older sister. She ended up burying Kendall because of her piece of shit ex that was now rotting in prison.

Zacky frowned and looked into her eyes, nodding his head vigorously. "Yes, of course," he said. "I'm so sorry, baby." He walked over and reached up, gently cupping her cheek in his hand. He leaned down and pressed a soft, gentle kiss to her cheek before wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tightly. "It'll never happen again, I promise."

Annabelle hugged Zacky back as she gripped onto his shirt and sniffled. "I'm sorry I argued with you about something so stupid," she mumbled. "If it means that much to you I'll get someone to cover my shift that day so we can celebrate Johnny's birthday with him."

Zacky rubbed her back, shaking his head. "It's not just that, Annie," he said, pulling back so he could look at her. "You overwork yourself all the time, and I'm so afraid you're going to end up hurting yourself because of it. And not only that, you barely have time for us anymore. You're always busy with work and you know that I can provide for you just as much as I need to. You don't have to have a full-time job where you work overtime."

"I like my job Zack," Annabelle mumbled. "I'd go crazy with boredom in our place if I didn't have it." She wiped her eyes free of tears before she looked into Zack's eyes. "I'll talk to my boss about my hours so I can spend more time with you."

Zacky nodded his head. "Thank you," he murmured, kissing her forehead. "And you know, I offered to teach you guitar. It would give you something to do when I'm not around, or when you're bored. And it's really fun."

"I have tomorrow off if you want to start teaching me tonight," Annabelle smiled. "Just promise you won't get mad when I sound horrible."

Zacky grinned at her, nodding his head. He smiled and shook his head. "You won't sound horrible," he said. "And I won't get mad at you."

Annabelle smiled before she moved to kiss Zack's lips. "Let's go home babe."

Zacky nodded and took her hand, leading her to his car. He helped her in before driving her home.

Annabelle let them inside, smiling as she sat down on their couch. She looked over at Zack, playing sticking her tongue out at him before she turned on the tv to a music channel.

Zacky chuckled and shook his head at her. "Come on, I want to start teaching you," he said, biting his lip anxiously. He was so excited to teach her guitar.

Annabelle turned off tv and followed Zack to his studio where he kept all his guitars.

Zacky smiled at her and looked at all his guitars on the wall. "Pick your favorite," he said, also curious as to which one she liked most.

Annabelle stared at the guitar wall for what seemed like an eternity before she picked his cherry red lefty. "Is it okay if I use this one?"

Zacky nodded his head, taking the guitar down and handing it to her. "Of course," he said.

Annabelle bit down on her bottom lip extremely nervous to be holding Zacky's guitar. She sat down with it and looked up at him. "I'm so glad I'm a lefty like you or this would suck."
