Asher showed up relatively early for class, so that he would get a good seat, and sat near the front. He wasn't always the perfect student, but he knew the importance of a good first impression, and intended to get into the good graces of Professor Keating. Pulling out his notebook and pen he sat with one leg crossed over the other and waited for the professor to walk into class. He had already done the reading and had been reviewing everything he knew about law religiously for the last month. This was the moment of truth, the moment he found out whether everything he had studied was enough, nothing could screw this up for him.

Bridget was running late for class, as was usual for her, she had issues being on time for things mostly because she hated waking up and it took her forever to get ready for things. And today especially, because today she needed to look perfect, sophisticated and classy, but definitely not too dressed up so she looked like she was trying to hard. She finally came to a decision, threw her hair up into a high bun and was out the door. She stumbled into class a couple moments before class was supposed to start and took the only seat left, beside a cute guy with tousled black hair. "Excuse me," she whispered, walking by him and taking a seat. She breathed in a deep sigh of relief that she wasn't too late.

Connor had already been sitting in class for a few minutes, he wouldn't say that he was early but he also wasn't going to allow himself to ever be late to class. He had worked too hard to get into this class, he wasn't going to blow it now. He glanced up at a girl and straightened in his chair, giving her enough space to step past him as there was only one empty seat and that was beside him. He couldn't help but grin when he heard a deep sigh, turning his head his dark eyes focused on her. "Thought you were going to late, right? I wouldn't make that a habit, if I were you." He told her as he could only imagine the scolding a student would receive from Professor Keating, if they arrived late to her class. That was something he never wanted to go through himself. He had his open notebook balancing on his knee with his pen in hand, ready for the class to begin because he had done the reading and was just ready for this.

Evie had arrived earlier than Annalise as she had carried the files in and had set all the work up, this was her first time helping the Professor outside the office and she was a little nervous. She wasn't used to being so dressed up but she wanted to make a good impression on Annalise and the new class of students, it didn't really help that Asher was in the class but she knew that he would be amazing. She was sitting beside the desk when the students filed into the room, a small smile appeared on her face when she spotted her boyfriend although she was going to be completely professional around him. Her curly hair was up in a ponytail, however some of her curls had escaped around her face. She noticed the last student that arrived, only moments before Annalise walked over to the board while somewhat welcoming the students to her class.

Asher couldn't help but grin as his beautiful girlfriend walked into the classroom, decked out for her first day of assisting Keating with the class. He had to hold himself back from going up to her because he didn't want the class to know he was dating the professors assistant, they would definitely think it gave him an unfair advantage. It definitely didn't though, Professor Keating prided herself on her work and wouldn't let something like that stand in the way of being fair. Also, as she didn't really know about them, that wasn't even a problem. He snuck a small wave to Evie, and gave her a big thumbs up, right before the class was started. Keating made a big show of writing How to Get Away With Murder on the board, making it the title of the class. It sent a shiver up his spine and just caused him to be all the more excited for this class. Asher was more then ready when Professor Keating called on him to answer for the case study. He had looked over the case so many times now, the answers for ingrained in his head. "What happened after Mr. Kaufman's wife of 25 years found out about the affair?" He stood up confidently and answered, "he ended the relationship and transferred her to the accounting department, that's where she allegedly transferred one of his blood pressure pills for an aspirin, which she knew he was allergic to" he said like he was telling a mystery story, then sat down with a smile on his face. So far so good, in no time he would have secured his job in Keating's firm, a job he knew without a doubt he was fit for. Probably more so then any other student in the room.

Bridget looked at the boy beside her and raised an eyebrow. "Thanks so much for the advice, I wasn't exactly planning on being late again though," she said with an attitude. She was told that you had to be aggressive in law school, every single person was competition to you and if you were nice you'd just get walked all over. She didn't intend on letting that happen, regardless of how damn sexy the guy happened to be. She turned back to the front of the room right as class started. Professor Keating made it perfectly clear right away that she was tough lady, definitely nobody to mess with, she was so glad she had done the reading because Keating wasted no time getting into the case. In college she hardly ever did the reading, she skated by with mostly A's without really having to put in too much work. Then again, she was an English major and spark-notes was very helpful. She could tell already that this was a completely different ball park. She listened as Keating called on random students, asking them questions regarding the case. The boy next to her was the first to answer, beginning to tell what the case study was about, he was impressive, she had to admit. "Bridget Pierce, what occurred when Mr. Kaufman ingested the aspirin?" Bridget stood up a little too quickly and blurted out, "Mr. Kaufman went into anaphylactic shock, his throat swelled and his brain was deprived of oxygen for seven minutes before his assistant was able to resuscitate him," she smiled and took her seat once more, smiling victoriously at Connor.

Connor had noticed how quickly the girl sitting beside him had stood up from her seat, when Professor Keating called out her name. He listened to what she was saying and raised his eyebrows, he was impressed and it took a lot to impress him. He did however roll his eyes when she smiled victoriously at him, "No need to show off." He mumbled under his breath, he didn't want Keating to hear him or see that he was talking when he was meant to be paying attention to her. He wasn't going to let himself get into trouble on the first day, not that he was planning on ever letting himself get into trouble of course. He sat in his seat and listened as the Professor asked another question about the case, before she looked through the list of students that were attending her class. He had been expecting to hear the answer but he didn't, so like the rest of the class he turned around to look at the student that had stood up but he wasn't answering. "Day one and you're already unprepared," Professor Keating spoke as she looked at this Wesley Gibbins, he was struggling and Connor didn't feel sorry for him because he had plenty of time to finish the reading that they had been given. He watched as Keating walked up the stairs as she spoke with the student, apparently he had only been accepted into the class two days ago. He quickly turned again to face the front when another student tried to help out and answer the question, although it back fired on her. "This class is going to be interesting," He whispered mostly to himself this time.

Evie's smile only widened when she noticed Asher's wave and his thumbs up, she had been nervous all morning but knowing that he was sitting right there helped put her nerves at ease. She had already told Annalise about Asher because she needed to know that she was dating one of her students, so Annalise knew his name and how much Evie cared about him. She promised that working with him either in class or on the job wasn't going to be a problem, Annalise knew how she was and Evie would never do anything to betray her or make her job harder. She stood off to the side and she felt so proud when her handsome boyfriend answered Annalise's question like a professional, she had tried to get him to relax because she knew that this was the perfect class and career for him. She watched as the class continued and students were answering questions that were fired at them, she was holding a small notebook in her hands and would write down a student's name if she thought their answer was good enough. She felt horrible when Wesley couldn't answer his question but wrote his name down just in case he surprised her, she looked at Connor when he asked about what the verdict on the case was. "Why don't you ask her for yourself." Annalise spoke as she looked at him, Evie had made sure that everything was set up at the office yesterday so when the students arrived, Annalise could get straight to work.
