James woke up around noon, happy to finally have gotten some sleep. He took a shower, brushed his teeth and fixed his hair before throwing on a blue tank top and a pair of cargo shorts. He grabbed his keys and went out to his car and headed over to Gaila's house. He pulled into her driveway and honked his horn obnoxiously, seeing as she had no clue he was even coming over.

Scarlet let out a soft whimper as she rolled off the edge of Alexander's bed, and hit the floor with a light thud. They had gone to a party the night before, and she was too drunk to even walk home, let alone drive. She sat up as the feeling of being hungover set in. She got back up and jumped on the bed, snatching almost all of the blanket off of Alexander, and cuddling into her best friend's side. "Never let me drink again..." She mumbled.

Gaila pulled on a floral patterned shirt and rushed down the stairs to eat a small breakfast. She made herself a cup of coffee in a to-go cup as she heard the sound of a car honking from her driveway. She looked out the window to see James' car sitting in the driveway. She called out a good bye too her parents and walked out of the front door with her bag. "What are you doing here this early, Mr. James?" she asked taking a sip of her coffee.

Alexander groaned and tugged at the blanket. "I make no guarantees, blanket hog. You know that," he teased. He rubbed his face, trying to wake himself up. "There is no point in going to a party if you stay sober. And parties make the teen years of our lives so much better." He looked at her, wishing he was still asleep.

She made herself a cup of coffee in a to-go cup as she heard the sound of a car honking from her driveway. She looked out the window to see James' car sitting in the driveway. She called out a good bye too her parents and walked out of the front door with her bag. "What are you doing here this early, Mr. James?" she asked taking a sip of her coffee.

James laughed and looked at the clock. "Well, Ms. Gaila, it is almost two in the afternoon, so I wouldn't say I'm early." He said and motioned for her to get in. "I figured we could go do something fun today." He added and tilted his head. "But the question is, what shall we do?"

Scarlet giggled slightly and peeked her eyes open. "You mean my teen years?" She asked with a slight raise of her eyebrows. "I don't think your considered a teen when your twenty-one." She teased and snuggled closer to him. "Does it bother you that I'm three years younger than you?" She added as the thought crossed her mind.

Gaila laughed and shook her head. "It is too early. Don't you see the coffee?" she said, lifting her cup. She sat down in the passenger side of his car. "I vote we go to the wonderful city of Orlando. I haven't been there in a while, and it's the perfect place to hang around."

Alexander teasingly glared at her. "I'm an eighteen year old with the ability to buy alcohol, Scarlet, so don't start calling me old. Not really. You're ahead of me with your maturity, so..." He softened his look at her and smiled. He held her to him. "Does it bother you?"

James laughed lightly and looked down at her. "You and your coffee obsession." He said and put the car in drive. "Orlando here we come." He sai and turn the radio on. "Are you hungry?"

Scarlet melted a bit inside as he pulled her closer. "Right now it doesn't
Bother me, but your going to graduate at the end of this year, and your gonna move on to college and find a new best friend." She said and hid her face in his chest.

Gaila looked at him and nodded. The cereal she had wouldn't last her long anyways. "I don't have an obsession. You wouldn't like me if I didn't have at least one cup of coffee when I woke up," she argued. "Probably an addiction to caffeine, but not an obsession."

Alexander looked at her and assured her, "I'm not going to find a new best friend. I will drag you to my dorm every chance I get because I will miss your cooking and waking up to the mornings like this. Plus, you may have to do my laundry." He gave her a cheeky grin. "I should worry about you running off and getting a new best friend."

James smiled at the girl beside him. He had been secretly crushing on her forever. "Well where would you like to eat before we hea out?" He asked with a grin. "I'm thinking Taco Bell! But I'm sure you already knew that because I'm cheap."

Scarlet bit her lip and looked up at him, so bat wanting him to kiss her. She took a deep breath and reached for his hand as her heart beat out of control. "Alex..." She murmured and moved closer to him, ignoring th conversation they had just had. "Do you want to....kiss...me?"

Gaila laughed. "When do you not want Taco Bell? Then again it does sound pretty good," she said. She smiled. She had to admit that she had liked James for awhile now. She couldn't help but like him. Especially after the breakup she had a few months ago with Erick. James was there for her and helped her through it. She was just so happy to have someone like him to be there when it counted.

Alex looked at her and smiled. "Do you even have to ask that?" he asked her. "Of course, I want to kiss you. I always have." He held her close to him. He looked at her.

James took her hand in his as he drove. "You can't resist the awesomeness of Taco Bell." He sai as he pulled into the parking lot. He had always had a thing for her, but he didn't want to push it now, especially after her break up. "Shall we eat inside or on the drive?"

Scarlet moved closer to him, feeling as if this was all a dream. "Then do it..." She whispered. A million thoughts ran through her head, she was only fifteen, soon to be sixteen, but she wanted Alex to be her first more than anything. Her first everything, real make out, first boyfriend.

Gaila looked at him and said, "I say the drive. I don't want to go inside and see anyone in there." She pointed to the car. She was kind of shocked that she would see Erick's car parked in the lot, but then again the town wasn't that big. "You know I should have listened to you in the beginning," she admitted. "He was an ass."

Alex leaned close to her and planted his lips on hers gently. He moved his free hand and cupped her cheek to keep her close. He pulled back after them moving their lips together slowly. "How was that?" He asked her, trying to be flirt that he thought himself to be.

James pulled through the drive through, giving her hand a squeeze. "It's gonna be okay." He said softly. "I won't ever let another tool like that break your heart." He smiled softly at her. "What do you want? I'm buying."

Scarlet felt like putty in his arms when he kissed her. She didn't respond to his question with words. Instead she pushed him back against the bed and leaned on his chest, kissing him hard on the lips. She wanted him, but she was afraid he didn't want her.

Gaila smiled at him and said, "A chicken quesidilla and a soft taco would be great." She finished the last bit of her coffee and set the cup down until the got to a trashcan. She looked at the car ahead of them, trying to guess how long they would have to wait. She liked that he wanted to protect her, and she was thinking about ways to show him that she liked him as more than a friend.

Alex held her too him and kissed her back with as much passion as she was putting into it. He loved how she felt pressed up to him like this. Moving his hand to hold her neck, he licked her lip to gain entrance. He had hoped for this to happen for a long time, but he never wanted to push himself on her in the case that she didn't like him back. Now, that he was kissing her, he didn't want to stop.

James ordered their food and paid. He passed her the bags and pulled out onto the road. "so what do you want to do in Orlando today?" He asked with a grin. "Disney or universal!?" He asked like an excited child.

Scarlet broke the kiss and laid her head on his chest. "Do you want to...umm..." She trailed off a her cheeks burned red. It wasn't very often that the two of them would have time like this alone with no parents so she jumped on the opportunity.

Gaila smiled at him. "Is that really a question? I want to go to Disney!" she said excitedly. She felt like a little kid. She loved spending the day with him. "Do you know how much fun that place is compared to Universal?" She dug through the bag and handed him his food.

Alex looked at her, trying to catch on to what she was saying. "If I get what you are saying, I do want to. I just don't want you to do something that you might regret," he told her. "I have for a long time, but I never wanted to be an ass and pushy about it."

James laughed lightly, he knew she loved Disney more, but it was worth asking. His parents worked for Disney, and they always got in for free, and half off at Universal. "I don't know why I even asked." He said and took a bite of his taco. "So...I was thinking of asking Lilly to prom..." He said a bit awkwardly. Lilly was his on and off girlfriend throughout high school.

Scarlet kissed him lightly and then pulled away. "I-I have a small confession to make...I-I'm still a virgin..." She murmured feeling her cheeks inflame. "I just didn't want you to make fun of me before...So I lied." She added. "B-but I really want to do this...with you...right now?" She said with a sigh. "S-sorry I'm so awkward..."

Gaila scrunched up her face hearing that name. "I'm sure you could find a better date," she said. She didn't like Lily, and had always hoped that he would ask her to prom though she was always scared to tell him how she really felt. "Trust me. You are so much better than her."

Alex looked at her and shook his head lightly. "I would never make fun of you because of that. And it's fine. I was awkward when it was my first time. That's how everyone feels. And if you are sure, we can," he said looking into her eyes.
