Crystal walked beside Pony nervously, about to go to the old house for the first time in years. She was nervous how the boys would take seeing her, especially now that she lived on the "good" side of town and was considered a soc. But she was still the same person she always was, and she didn't care if people thought she wasn't supposed to hang out with greasers. She missed the boys, and it's her parents who were rich now, not her. "So, do you think they missed me?" she asked with a nervous laugh, running a hand through her curly brown hair. Pony smiled and nodded, "I'm sure they did. Two-Bit wouldn't shut up about it. And everyone else really missed you too. Just expect some jokes from Two-Bit about that fact that you have money now," he said honestly, nudging her in the arm with his elbow. "Oh how I've missed his jokes," she laughed, feeling a little better. She had missed all of the boys, but she was most curious about how Dallas Winston was doing. When she was twelve and he was fourteen she had a huge school girl crush on him, he was older and such a bad ass. But she knew how he felt about the socials, and she was expecting him to hate her now as well. When she first told them her parents had come into money, Dallas took it the worst. He called her a sell out and told her he didn't associate with spoiled rich kids, and that was the last conversation they ever had. "Well, we're here," Pony said, stopping in front of the house, and looking down, kicking the dirt, as if he were nervous about how she would see the house after her new lifestyle. She grinned, stupid happy, it looks just as she remembered it. "This feels like coming home again," she said, running over and onto the porch. "After you," she said, holding the door open for her friend.

Soda was at the DX with Steve, finishing up the last couple of hours of his shift. His favorite times were when Steve was actually working the same hours as him, because time went by so much faster when he had his best guy friend there. He was hoping Diane would stop by though, because it would go by in no time with all three of them there. Plus, he had a date with Sandy on Friday for their six month anniversary and he wanted to pick her brain about what he should do to make it extra special. That was part of the perks of having a girl best friend, free relationship advice. They had been friends for as long as he could remember, and they told each other everything, he valued her friendship even more then Steve's a lot of the time. "It's so slow here today," Steve complained, going through and organizing the packs of cigarettes for something to do. He read the backs on a few and then finally slid one into his pocket. "I'll pay for that later," he said, after catching Soda's accusatory look. "You know we have to count those at the end of the night," he complained halfheartedly, but couldn't help but breaking into a smile when Steve walked over and pinched him hard in the cheek.
