Oh I know what you mean. I think back to the stories I devoured and loved, but now I shuddered. For instance I loved the Marked series by PC Cast and her daughter but when I got into book blogs and thought out reviews I see the flaws, which in turn made me realize how awful that Zoey chick was. So many novels choose a common idea. There's nothing wrong with that, however, if there's no voice to it, nothing to set it apart, then it certainly becomes like the others. Has there been any real life situation novel that you thought was good? What are some fantasy ones you love? I'm trying to read more of that after I got caught up in a series I love.
Oh romances, yes, yes I have that thought, too! It can't just be all happy ending; I feel bad when I muttered for something bad to happen, because Disney is nice but not exactly reality. Have you tried Sarah Dessen? I enjoyed a lot of her books. I mean, the overall storylines are pretty identical to each other but I like to think they're each different from each other
I started writing in 7th grade, vampire lover sort of and I tried that in my first story. But too many twins lol and the very typical, tv/movie setting of high school. I drift a bit too much with my old stories. He'll I wished I hadn't deleted them you would have saw what I was talking about (x I will most definitely take you up on that offer. I really like the criticism even if it pains the heart to know the first shot wasn't the one
