The Rimbauer Institute

Welcome my dears to the Rimbauer institution formally known as the Rimbauer estate. Yes there are stories of ghosts and curses but they are just that stories meant to keep nosy lurkers away from the residence as they need their privacy. We have a wide range of patients from substance abuse disorders to multiple personality disorder.
The Rules of Rimbauer Estate
1.Never leave your room after lights out which is midnight
2.Stay out of the head doctors office
3.The basement is staff only
4.No staff/patient relationships or non medical related confrontation
5.No lurking around the house at any time of the day

Some secrets are better off dead

In 1869 the Rimbauer estate was built by Marcellus Rimbauer as a wedding present for his fiance Penelope Chilton/Rimbauer. The construction took a little over three years and was finished by their return to America. Unfortunately though five years after their return Penelope met with an untimely death after the birth of her fourth child. Marcellus was to remarry a year after her death but met his end by his fiance’s hand.
The house has been many things over the past years but due to the mysterious disappearances of a few people the tours of the historical sight were shut down and the land was sold to the unsuspecting new owners.
The institute opened it's doors in 2008 and since then it's had a few small sightings though no one is ready to admit that anything is wrong.
What will happen to the patients and the doctors? Only time will tell.

Bio: Trixy is a smart girl. She graduated high school at 14 and did the college thing and graduated at 18. She decided or was forced into the medical field as a nurse and her father bought the Rimbuaer estate and turned it into an institute. She works under her step brother and well she hates it. She likes the idea of helping people but having to follow orders from someone like Jason is infuriating. Trixy was married when she was twenty for about a week unfortunately he was hit by a car, the next guy she was serious with fell out of a twenty story building and there are many more tragedies though she wasn't the cause she has determined that she is a jinx and that it just won't work out.
Extra: She can be nice though she is often a bitch and is mainly focused on work.

Bio: Jason is Trixy's step brother his mom married his dad when he was 7 and she was 2 and he's never really liked her much. His dad died when he born and well his mom never really liked to talk about him much considering he wasn't the best person in the world and his step dad was a pretty good guy as far as fathers go. He treated him like he was actually his son and it was Jason's idea to go into the medical field and his father was an investor when he decided to open up his own institution. He's been focused on work most of his life well and a few distractions in the form of women but hell who doesn't get distracted by a nice set of breasts every once in while?
Extra: He's mainly business and doesn't really care about the patients.

Reason they are here: Psychosis
Bio: Carson had a pretty normal happy life. She was adopted when she was born has no idea who her birth mother is but it doesn't matter to her she loves her parents. With the way Carson was you would think that being in a place like the Rimbauer institute was unfitting but that was before the accident. She was a happy, cheerful, fun, outgoing, sweet girl that is until she went away on school trip when she was fourteen to New York. She was violently attacked by a MMA fighter her head was smashed into multiple objects and the ground and that's not including the damage he caused to her body but beating the shit out of her was about as far as far as he got before security managed to get him off her she was unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. The damage was extensive especially to her head and brain though she managed to make it and seemed to be normal at first. She started acted a little bit different, she couldn't sleep, she became suspicious of everyone for any reason, and started having trouble concentrating and separated herself from her friends and family. It only seemed to get worse she started believing that everyone was out together that they wanted to destroy her or kill her, she started talking to herself, switched topics erratically in conversation, and she became depressed and tried to kill herself several times. Her parents tried hard to keep her at home they took her doctors visits and stayed with her most of the time they tried homeschooling her and it seemed to work only getting her to stay in the same room with them was hard she wanted nothing to do with them and accused them of horrible things she even refused to eat for over a week because she was convinced they were trying to poison her. Eventually it was to hard for her parents to take and even though it hurt to have to send her away it was the bested option especially after she broke and jumped out of her window breaking her arm and cutting open her stomach pretty bad. She's been at the institute for about a year and none of the meds they have tried have helped her much she still doesn't sleep and she's tried to kill herself and attacked the staff a couple times.
Extra:She spends most of her time talking to herself. She lives in her own reality and sometimes she's peaceful though she sometimes needs to be sedated. Her family is rich and although they don't visit often anymore they send her gifts almost everyday


Character Name: Keaton Coin
Gender: Male
Orientation: Pansexual
Role: Patient
Age: 22
Reason they are here: Dissociative Identity Disorder
Bio: When Keaton was 17 he was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder which was also called multiple Personality disorder. It was hard for people to notice at first they just assumed when they saw him he could be in a couple different moods sometimes he wouldn’t answer when they called out his name, he'd just walk right past his best friend like he didn't know them and if they tried to stop him he'd look at them like they were insane. He has four separate personalities there is Keaton who is stressed out, worries about every one and puts everyone's needs above his own. He's focused and goal oriented and easy going unless he's upset which is hard to do.
Eliot(Eli) who's a stuck up ass, he doesn't talk to anybody unless he wants something from them and acts as though he is better than everyone else. He's pompous and self centered and doesn't give a crap about anyone.
Parker is well he's a sweetheart. He's about 8 years old and likes to cause harmless little pranks around the institute. He loves to color and play with his cars and video games he loves video games.
Shadow well there's not much to say he doesn't show up a lot and only when he is needed really.
They have all been in the institute since Kayden was 18.
Extra: Shadow is by far the most dangerous Personality. If he thinks any of the other personalities are in danger he'll show up and there'll be hell to pay.


Character Name: Declan Bayles

Reason they are here: died in 1998, buried alive
Bio: Declan was a pretty good kid for the most part. He worked his way through college and was working his way through law school when some rich kids thought it would be funny to play a prank on him. They tied him up and threw him in the trunk of there car they drove miles to the Rimbauer estate and he got pretty beat up in from all the bumps and turns and when they tossed him out and decided to do a little more damage they nearly killed him and they thought they did. They freaked out and buried him in the barn only he wasn't dead yet but he was soon after that. To say he was angry would be the least they stole his life and his future from him. As the years passed he watched the house get old and then it was turned into an institute which was fine cause it meant he could talk to someone who wasn't dead and well the people were crazy so who would believe them?
Extra: He's come to terms with his death. His body is still buried in the barn.


Character Name: Penelope Chilton/Rimbauer

Reason they are here: Murdered
Bio: Penelope grew up as a farm girl and well that probably were her life would have stayed if Marcellus hadn't stumbled upon their little town and caught her entering a store and well he was persistent after that. He eventually convinced her father to give her to him or well he bought her from him and although he had everything she wasn't happy. She stayed by his side for 8 years did as she was supposed to and had his children ignored the fact that he was with other women until she was murdered by one of them. She hated him so much by the time she was killed and that rage kept her on the earth. She's hoped for her children or any children honestly over the years and although others had joined her in her home she was still lonely but she was rather happy when she found out the place would be an institution. She enjoys talking with some of the more less believable patients because they remind of her being a mother again although they are disturbed it's the closest she will ever get.

Trixy Hordes
Trixy frowned as she left her office in the basement it was attached to her room. She had to make her rounds make sure everyone that needed meds at this time got them. She also had to make sure she had a sedative handy in case some of the more angry patients got out of hand. It was already a long day she had to double check everything because Jason had screwed up some numbers and she had to double count all the meds and make sure none went missing and she just was in no mood to deal with patients right ow.


Carson Wilde
Carson sat in the middle of the floor in the main floor with a string and a fake mouse attached to it throwing it across the floor waiting. She'd been doing it for about twenty minutes with no luck but she couldn't help but laugh when gizmo came out from under a chair and attacked the mouse. He was a present from her parents they came by but only long enough to hand her the cat they were afraid of her or for her she wasn't sure which.


Jason Harte
Jason was in his office/bedroom going over patient notes. He needed to make sure everything was in order for the inspection a few people were going to come in and check the facility and he needed to insure that nothing was wrong. All the patients were labeled on how violent they could be and their meds were all listed along with the times and it was just annoying little details that needed to be perfectly in place.


Keaton Coin
Keaton was laying on a couch watching Carson. She'd been playing with air for almost a half hour and she was so interested in it though he was pretty sure her cat had run away until it popped out from under the couch he was sitting on. He didn't understand why she was laughing so hard but it was a lot nicer than her screaming and throwing thinks and trying to attack people with plastic utensils.


Declan Bayles
Declan was wandering around the institute though no one could see him at the moment. He was bored as usual though watching some of the patients was pretty interesting. But you could only watch one person do the same thing repetitively for so long.
