As she walked into Ouran High School, Inari eyed her surroundings. Not to mention the looks she was receiving from the students, who all wore the same uniform. In her favorite dress, she realized that she stuck out like a black sheep. How in the world was she supposed to find Hikaru and Kaoru in this huge place anyway?

After spending some time walking around and peering into classrooms and meeting no success, she finally decided to ask around after them. It was only after asking three different people with no success that she ran into a girl who offered to show her the way. She was led upstairs and shown to a door that read "music room #3". A music room? This ought to be good... I can't imagine either of them playing an instrument, she thought, thanking the girl before she pushed open the doors.

"Hello. Welcome to Ouran High School Host Club." She started, finding herself peering up at a boy with black hair, wearing glasses. He had the look of someone who was trying to be pleasant but didn't really want to be... but that might've just been her.

"Hello. Can you show me to the Hitachiin twins?" she asked. She motioned to the folder she held. "Apparently they forgot their homework this morning, and someone told me they were here." She glanced around, frowning a bit at the sight before her.

(Umm, not sure how you wanna start with Mori and Aya, so I figured I'd let you post first to that. Once again, sorry my first post sucks so bad xD)

(haha it's all good, maybe this will help?)

Aya sighed, of course it would suddenly start down-pouring outside just as she was about to pull up to the Ouran Elite Private Academy a half an hour from her own school, the Saint Ceclia's Academy for Girls. She didn't know much about the school before her as she stepped out from her personal car and opened her umbrella, but she immediately noticed the extravagance of the campus. She hoped that would translate to the student body as she walked around trying to find good spots to hang her audition posters. SCA was an arts based school and had girls from all walks of life that went there so the raw flamboyance of Ouran surprised her, she couldn't find a bulletin anywhere. Soon she stumbled upon a music room hallway and one sounded like it had a lot of people within it as she stood on the other side. A hopeful smile graced her features as she dusted off her teal and white SCA uniform and tucked her hair behind her shoulders, maybe there were some people that would be interested in auditioning for her school's musical. She knocked twice on the door and readied the poster and her smile for whoever opened it.
Hikaru sat on one of the loveseats in the music room with his arm draped around Kaoru, a tired but playful grin on his features as he sighed dramatically for the benefit of the guests sitting with them. "Kaoru, do we have to keep talking about this? The weather is such a boring topic..." He took his brother's chin in his hands, secretly squeezing too hard and letting the laughter sparkle in his eyes for only Kaoru to see. "I'd rather listen to you talk about you... What are your dreams, dear brother?" Kaoru grinned and took Hikaru's wrist in his hand, returning the hard squeeze and hidden glint of laughter. "Am I apart of them?" The squeals of the guests made Hikaru break his character with a too happy grin but then the sound of a disapproving sigh reached his ears. Confused he looked up and had to blink a few times in dread and confusion as rain began to pound the window. "Is that..?"

    (Yes, thank you!!)

After being pointed to where to find her neighbors, Inari headed over. Girls were practically swarming the brothers, who looked as if they were attempting to share some sort of private moment. Before she even reached them though, she noticed the raining just outside. Oh, rain. Why couldn't it have just waited until she got home? After sighing quietly to herself though, she started heading for the twins again, except the small crowd gathered seemed determined not to let her through. Actually, she got a couple of nasty looks from more than a couple of girls. "Hikaru! Kaoru!" She called out to the brothers, cupping her hands around her mouth to do so. "Hey! If you two want your homework, call of the army." She motioned to the girls and waved the folder she held. "And you both better tell me how much you love me, if you want me to hand it over, since I had to walk all the way here to get this to you."
Most people didn't bother to knock before coming in the room. Anyone who attended the school certainly knew better, and there was enough noise going on that almost everyone took no notice. As he heard the sound though, Mori got up to open the door, and for a moment, blinked at the girl standing there. She wasn't from Ouran, by the uniform she was wearing, and she was holding up a poster. "Hello?" He opened the door wider to let her know she could come in if she wanted to.

When the door opened to reveal a boy a good twelve inches taller and looking at her somewhat blankly, Aya was a little intimidated. "Hello," she said timidly with a smile. "My name is Aya, I go to St. Cecile's Academy for Girls just a little ways that way," she pointed to the east. When the boy stepped a little sideways and opened the door a little wider, also giving her a look at the seemingly organized chaos inside, she felt herself relax, "May I come in?" She hoped the boy would say yes so she could properly introduce herself and her reason for knocking on his door.
At the sound of her shouts the twins sighed and simultaneously spoke in excited voices, "Inari!" They excused themselves from the seating guests and walked with dramatic, open arms to their fellow ginger haired neighbor. "So good to see you," they said again in unison as they parted the seas of now jealous girls.

"Thanks for bringing our homework," said Hikaru with a grin. He was a little embarrassed that she saw their little act with no explanation but there was nothing to do about it now except keep up the act.

"Please excuse all of this," Kaoru said with a light laugh. "We just can't seem to stay away from each other." He took hold of Hikaru's hand with the most obvious and playful glint in his eye.

As Hikaru and Kaoru started holding hands, Inari raised an eyebrow. She was fairly certain though that she didn't really want to know exactly what was going on. More than likely, knowing the two of them, it was some sort of elaborate prank, but they wouldn't tell her the truth even if that as the case, she was sure, so she decided to just go along with whatever exactly it was that was going on.

"Oh, I knew that already," Inari replied with an airy little wave of her hand. "Neither of you goes anywhere without the other," she grinned at them and waved the folder with their homework in it once more. "You know, neither of you have professed your love for me yet. Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to go back home with your work." With a shrug, she started to back away. "Great seeing you though, guys. Really."
Mori nodded to her question, beckoning her inside, and closed the door once more after she had stepped in. "Welcome to Ouran High School Host Club, Aya," he said, and motioned to the poster she had held up for him to see when he had opened the door. "Is that why you are here?" he asked, though he had already guessed that to be the case.

Though she was a little confused at his introduction- seeing as she'd only ever heard rumors of the Ouran Host Club- Aya smiled brightly when the boy motioned to the poster in her hands, "Yes as a matter of fact it is!" She held the poster up and flashed the headline to him. "SCA is holding open auditions for our upcoming musical The Phantom of the Opera, seeing as its an all girls school we don't really have boys readily available so all of the spots are open to the community to audition." She looked up at him with hope sparkling in her big brown eyes. "Would it be alright if I hung this up somewhere? I didn't see any bulletin boards hanging up..." She gave a nervous laugh, "Then again now that I'm here this doesn't really seem like the type of place to have bulletin boards..."
The twins looked nervously at each other, if they professed their love for her with all of these guests around they'd be in serious trouble. "H-hey, Inari, no need to hasty," said Hikaru nervously.

"Yeah, Inari c'mon! We can't lie about something like that," Kaoru said with an identical nervous air. The twins each put a hand on their neighbor's shoulders and lean close.

At the same time they whispered in her ear, "We'll explain later, wait for us we're almost done here." A crack of thunder sounded from outside as if to confirm that Inari wasn't going anywhere.

Inari eyed the twins; if she hadn't suspected that something was going on before, this just confirmed it. But it was raining outside anyway, and it wasn't as if she were going to walk home in the middle of a storm. "Okay, okay, I'll wait around. Not like I have anything better to do anyway, right?" she gave in graciously and started to make little shooing motions at them. "Go do something about your harem before they attack me."
"No, I'm not sure if we have any," Mori admitted as he cast a quick glance around the busy room. "You could always talk to Tamaki though," he added, "Follow me." With that, he turned to search for the host club's leader, guiding Aya through the crowded music room. It wasn't difficult in the least to find Tamaki, who was off in a corner with Haruhi talking to her about something or another.

As the tall monotone boy lead her through the crowd of squealing girls she couldn't help but to feel a little overwhelmed. Aya had never seen something like this in person before, she'd only heard about it in gossiping conversations between other students at SCA. "E-excuse me?" She mumbled to the tall boy as he parted the sea of girls, "I never caught your name." It seemed rude to her, to ask a stranger to audition for her musical without even knowing his name.
Hikaru smiled in relief and Kaoru mirrored the look. The twins sent Inari parting winks before they turned away from her and back to their hoard of guests. "Sorry about that ladies," Hikaru said as he sighed.

"Just a friend of ours," sighed Kaoru nonchalantly as he easily slipped back into character. Hikaru felt Inari's presence like a flame on his skin and struggled to regain his character to match his twin. He nudged Kaoru to say something else to fill the time and to help Hikaru out. Kaoru could easily see the sudden glimpse of discomfort within his twin's eyes and smiled with mischief on his lips at the guests. "What ever can we do in order to gain your forgiveness?"

Not surprisingly Kaoru'swords brought a series of giggles, squeals and red faces. These last twenty-six minutes and thirty-two seconds of the Host Club were going to drag on forever with Inari sitting in the room.

As the twins turned back to what she had referred to as their "harem", Inari decided to find herself somewhere to sit back and actually figure out what was going on in this place. Still, she wasn't too worried about having to figuring it out on her own. The twins said they were going to be done with whatever it was they were doing soon, which meant that she would get her answers then. So, with that reassuring thought, she sat back in an empty chair and curiously watched what was going on around the room. And though she frequently changed which group she seemed to be paying attention to, since there actually seemed to be groups--large ones but groups all the same--, she frequently found her eyes back on her neighbors. They both appeared a little shaken by something, though only a little, and if she wasn't missing her mark, Hikaru was a little worse off than Kaoru.

At some point, she actually happened to glance over in time to see the two donning hats. She couldn't hear exactly what was going on over the cacophony of high-pitched girls in the room, but she thought she heard something about a game and guessing which one of them was Hikaru. She honestly didn't hear anything else after that, and she wondered if they would actually tell the person guessing if they got it right, or if the twins would lie and say the guess was wrong. Probably the latter... and at that point, Inari's attention wavered again, and she found herself focusing on some other part of the room.
With how softly Aya spoke, Mori almost didn't catch her question over the noise in the room. "It's Mori," he told her, speaking just loud enough that she could hear, and led her over to the corner where Tamaki now stood alone. He was probably sulking about something Haruhi had said, but would be out with the guests soon enough.

Mori was an impossible person to miss, even in a crowd. As he approached, Tamaki looked up to see him leading a strange girl over, who seemed to him as if she were at least slightly intimidated. "Ah, do we have a new guest then?" Tamaki's ability to bounce back from whatever mood possessed him at any given time was astounding, and this instance was no different as he approached the girl with a charming smile. "Hello, I'm Tamaki, prince of the Ouran Host Club."

(Sorry if I'm doing terrible with Mori and anyone else who might have actually been from the show that I happen to roleplay xD)

(you're doing just fine don't worry! I'm sorry my replies are so... "ugh" and that i always take a lifetime to craft a reply)

Aya smiled once she knew the tall boy's name, she whispered it softly back to herself and liked the way it felt on her tongue, "Mori." Before she knew it they were in a corner where a sulking blonde boy stood. Once the boy caught sight of Mori and then herself, he instantly perked up, strutted up to her like a peacock and introduced himself. She giggled in embarrassment and at the boy's behavior, "My name is Haruki Aya, I'm from Saint Cecelia's Academy for Girls, we have auditions for our musical, Phantom of the Opera coming up and I came here to see if anyone would we interested." She smiled and held up the poster timidly, "I was going to just hang this up and not bother anyone but I can't seem to find a bulletin board anywhere. I'm very sorry to have interrupted your club."
While the twins played the Which One Is Hikaru game they finally were able to relax a bit as the guests repeatedly guessed wrong. The disappointment of people losing the game didn't sting as much as it used to, so far two people had ever gotten it right. Haruhi and a girl from their past, (Inari?). When each guest failed the twins would get up and change positions to confuse them, though they probably could have stayed in the same place and the guests could have still gotten it wrong. While they were nice girls and or average intelligence in classes, they all became cute, bumbling morons when they stepped into the music room during Host Club hours.

(haha don't worry about it in the least. You're fine! I've been taking a lifetime as well)

"No, no, don't be sorry!" Tamaki waved away Aya's apology, literally it seemed, as he was also waving his hand. "And no, our club does not have a bulletin board, unfortunately..." he trailed off, his little Tamaki mind thinking. Then, all of a sudden, his eyes brightened, and he grinned. "But you can count every member of this club to show up at auditions! It would actually be great for the club! If you'll give me your poster, I'll get it to Kyoya and make sure that everyone shows up," he promised with a wide smile.
When Inari's attention strayed back to thee twins, it seemed as if they were still playing the game. From what she could tell, no one was getting the answer correct. Her curiosity piqued, she watched for a bit, sure someone would guess right eventually, if for no other reason than pure dumb luck, but that never seemed to happen. How could these girls be such total nincompoops? Eventually, Inari's patience just ran out with the whole thing, and she sighed. "The one on the right is Hikaru; Kaoru is on the left," she called out over the girls for absolutely no other reason than because she couldn't stand to see another three dozen girls guess wrong.

(Never mind the alert just came late I guess haha)

Aya felt her brows lift in surprise, there had been hardly anybody saying they'd come to audtitions. The community always loved to watch the SCA theater's shows but never wanted to be in them, until now of course. "Oh really? You mean it?" She smiled widely and happily turned over the poster to Tamaki. "That would mean so much to us as SCA! Without anyone of us able to hit the low notes we were afraid we'd have to cancel the show." Aya was so happy it turned out to be that easy. It didn't even cross her mind to ask if they could sing, act or dance.
Hikaru was about to give up on this round of idiots but then a voice shouted over them and it made his heart skip a beat. "What makes you say that, dear neighbor," he heard his twin call out confidently, though in his eyes Hilaru could see the same disbelief. Hikaru couldn't bring himself to move, out of shock or confusion he didn't know but then the guests began to whine and complain at Inari, claiming she has no right to interrupt their game.

Desperation and disbelief was flooding Hikaru's senses, had she only guessed and somehow gotten it right? "How..." He mumbled. How had she known? How could she have told them apart? Even their own family couldn't tell! He turned with wide eyes to her, his voice lifting as he turned, "What's your reasoning?"

"There is no need for any cancellations! We have seven host members, and we will all be happy to be a part of your play!" Tamaki reassured her as he took the poster. "Anyway, I'm going to get this to Kyoya now. We'll be closing the club in a couple of minutes, but you're welcome to relax. If you walked all the way here, you might be waiting a few minutes for the rain to stop in any case." With those words and a little wave, Tamaki practically skipped off to find Kyoya, thus leaving Aya alone for Mori had disappeared at some point in the conversation.

The tall, silent boy was actually not far away. Honey (don't know whether to say "senpai" after his name or not xD) was sitting on his shoulders, animatedly waving his arms around and talking with a group of giggling girls, his words coming in between large bites of a slice of cake. It was a strange contrast to the stoic Mori who sat silently, hardly appearing to even notice that a person was sitting on his shoulders.
Jeez, was everyone really so surprised that she had gotten it right? Inari was almost uncomfortable with all of the attention she had managed to garner just by identifying one twin from the other. Almost. But as they began questioning her at the same time that girls complained about her interfering with the game, she stood up and walked over. "Well, there are a couple of things that give you two away," she said. "Sure, you're identical twins, but you do have differences, no matter how similar you are, and anyone with half a brain would be able to tell. Your voices, for one thing, are just a little different. Not a lot, and you can't really tell when you talk at the same time, but when you're speaking separately, it's pretty easy to pick out. Also, your personalities are slightly different as well. Sure, you're a lot alike, but you do have differences, and you carry yourselves differently." She grinned at them. "Hats can't hide that sort of thing, boys." And that done, she gave a dramatic bow. "Now, I'll let you finish up with whatever it is you're doing for real, no more interruptions, I promise. Please, continue with the game. I'm sure I won't be the only one to get it right this time around since I'm assuming everyone present has at least half a brain." Yes, she wasn't exactly making friends, but it wasn't as if she actually attended school here, and she doubted she would see any of these girls again. Besides, it was sort of fun to rub people the wrong way sometimes; she had to find enjoyment in something after all. But she also knew when to retreat and that moment was now, so that was what she did, heading back over to the chair she had vacated earlier.

(I've decided that I love Inari xD)

(ohmy goodness XD I love her too, and im sorry idk why im struggling so badly to make these posts :( )

Aya smiled in pure delight but that smile faded to a helpless wide eyed look as she realized she was left alone in the mass of girls. "U-umm..." She mumbled and blinked in confusion, where had that boy, Mori gone? She was too short to see over the heads of the people around her, and they closed in on all sides as soon as Tamaki began to interact with them again and move farther away from her. She began to hyperventilate a little as she became more and more lost in the crowded room, she hated to admit it but she was badly claustrophobic. "T-tamaki? M-mori?" She spoke in a mumble and her voice wavered as she turned in all directions trying to find a way out of the crowd around her.
Hikaru's jaw dropped, as did Kaoru's in reply to Inari's matter-of-fact tone. She was completely and undeniably correct in her identification between the two of the twins but they'd never had someone get it right. It made Hikaru's chest tighten, he laid his head down on Kaoru's shoulder feeling suddenly exhausted. "I don't want to play anymore..." Mumbled Hikaru as Kaoru leaned his chin atop his brother's head agreeing silently. It was a shock and a delight that someone could tell them part, but it was more than anything scary. Being a set rather than an individual in a pair was a safer way to hide his true feelings in any occasion. This news terrified him and lit him with a joyous glow.

(You're fine! To be honest, I've got Inari down pat and I'm doing good with Itatchi, but I'm really struggling with Mori. I mean... he wasn't really a prominent character. He was always silent, rarely spoke, and while you can tell he's loyal and protective and kind, that's about the extent of it. Which means I'm going to have to make up a lot and I'm afraid of messing him up. He's also going to have to talk more than he did in the anime. I mean... I get being silent when he isn't being spoken to, and maybe he won't say a lot during conversations, but he has to talk xD)

Thinking he heard someone say his name, Mori turned to see who it was, but there was no one standing there. With a small frown, he looked around the crowd and soon caught sight of Aya, who seemed to be turned around in the crowd somehow. She really stuck in her white and green uniform, against the sea of yellow. He reached up, lifting Honey from his shoulders, and set him on the couch, then stood and made his way over to Aya. "Are you lost?" he asked as he finally reached her, which also happened to be about the same time that the club ended and guests began to file out of the room.
Inari actually sighed in relief as girls began to leave the room. A few who passed her shot her venomous looks, which she responded to with a smile and a tiny wave. When everyone was out of the room except those who didn't appear to be leaving, she stood up and gave a small stretch, then approached the twins once more. "I'm still not really sure what just happened, but I'm sorry if I messed anything up for you guys," she told them with a shy smile, rubbing the back of her head. "I'm not the best at what you might call 'being friendly', though I'm sure you both already knew that. I'm surprised you didn't freak out and try to hide or something when you saw me."

(would you rather play someone else? I dont want you to feel uncomfortable!)

As soon as Mori came into her line of sight Aya felt herself relax and come down from her panic. "Maybe a little," she sheepishly admitted as he fell to a stop in front of her as the sea of girls began to part around him and head for the door. "There's just so many people in here," she nervously laughed, "If only I were as tall as you, huh? Then I'd be able to get out of here no problem." In a matter of seconds the room was almost completely empty, save for the few boys and another girl in day clothes. "Thank you for coming to my rescue," she smiled gratefully.
Hikaru kept his head on Kaoru when Inari made her way over after the guests were gone, playing Host made him tired even without the bombshell dropped a matter of moments ago. "They're crazy anyway, Inari, don't worry about it."

Kaoru lifted his head and smiled, the exhaustion faded quickly once the guests left. "Yeah, no worries. Thanks for coming all of this way though we really appreciate it." Hikaru only nodded, he just wanted to take a nap.

(No, I'm fine xD I'm having a little trouble but I'm sure I'll eventually get it all worked out. I had trouble with Itatchi at first too)

"You're welcome." Mori gave a small shrug. "I heard someone say my name," he added, which was about all of the explanation that he was going to give. Those few words actually explained more than they first seemed to though, if a person was willing to actually think about it. "Is Tamaki going to find a place for your poster?"
Inari waved away the thanks. "It was no problem. I was happy for the chance to get out of the house honestly, so you guys actually did me a favor by leaving your work behind this morning." She shifted her weight to her toes and then to the balls of her feet, swaying in place as she tipped her head. "Hikaru, you look exhausted. Is there something wrong?" Kaoru had looked tired too at first, but he seemed to be recovering with every minute, continuously gaining his energy.

    (still awake?)

Aya was a little surprised, "You heard me in all of that noise?" She hummed her surprise before he could answer and smiled, that was good to know. "And yes, Tamaki said I can expect all of you at auditions! Though, I don't want to force any of you if that isn't what your comfortable with, with the singing and all." She twisted a section of hair from one of her bun-pigtails nervously, the last thing she wanted to do was force herself and SCA's theater on them. She turned her smile back on and looked up at him, "But, you guys seem nice and we'd be very happy to welcome you."
Hikaru yawned, "I'm fine, I'm fine. Just extra tired for some reason, no big deal." Kaoru sighed and shook his head at his brother but Hikaru didn't care. "It's not my fault those girls were extra... extra... Hmm. I can't think of the word, but they were extra whatever today."

Kaoru laughed and turned his eyes to Inari, "Well now you've seen a glimpse into our everyday after school activities. What did you think?"

(yes, and I expect I will be for another hour or so xD)

As Aya mentioned that Tamaki had said that the host club would all show up for auditions, he gave a small not, not looking particularly surprised. Tamaki volunteered them for various activities quite a bit. "Everyone will show up," he reassured Aya, knowing it to be true. Everyone would probably think of it as something fun to do, except possibly Kyoya, and it would be a nice break from the normal routine.
Inari laughed, grinning at Hikaru. "Extra harem-ish?" She suggested, but was soon distracted by Kaoru. "Well, I suppose if you guys like it, that's all good and everything, but I personally would not be able to handle it. I'm not people-friendly enough for that sort of thing." She shook her head, making a face and promptly pushed hair away that had fallen into her eyes. "Anyway, what in the world were you two doing?" She asked. Since they weren't going to volunteer information, it seemed she was going to have to dig for it. "Oh, Hikaru, I love you so much," she gushed in her best Kaoru voice, which wasn't very good, batting her eyes at the brother in question. And, she wasn't really sure why, but it made her stomach clench, so she ended up dropping the act a little sooner than she might usually have.
