    STORY INFORMATION
    rough summary:
Witches have been in a fight for (#?) years with another coven of Warlocks who live in their area. A demon was the one to kill a member of the coven, and had them blame the other coven. When other Wiccans have been disappearing, or found dead, they find out that the demons, vampires, werewolves, etc. have teamed up to rid the world of Witches and Warlocks alike.
    STORY PLOT IDEAS

    COVEN FEUD
A demon had killed a member of each/one coven, and made it seem like the other had done it.
They're both absorbed in the war in order to destroy the other coven first, so therefore they don't really notice a lot of other things that's going on. (Meaning, the deaths of other witches)

    UNDERWORLD WAR
Coven 1 and Coven 2 are the oldest and considered the most powerful of the Wiccan underworld, their names are well known as well as feared. Having magic in their bloodlines make them top of the underworld pyramid. Demons hate the idea of being underneath magical humans, and so one of the oldest demons gathers an 'army' of underworlders (vampires, werewolves, etc) and plan to rid the world of Witches and Warlocks alike.

    CHARACTER BIOS

Rowan Astermoore | Age: 32 years old | written by: She Said Poptarts
Cryokinesis -- lower room and body temperature (at birth), the ability to freeze (ice) objects (after 25th)
    Personality and Background go here.

Nora Tate | Age: 84 years old | written by: castiel's vessel
Atmokinesis -- from birth (power to manipulate weather) and the power she developed from her personality at 25 was Telekinesis (power to manipulate and control objects with the mind).

She'll be calm minded and rationale, although at time she can lose her cool only to regain it when reminded of her inheritance and how she cannot gain it unless she truly assumes the abilities of Head Witch: calm at all times, able to relate to all witches so that there's honesty, able to control her emotions even when it comes to stressful or dangerous situations. She'll be half way there, after having enchanted her love, Victor, when she was 34 and removed any trace of magic from him as his life after it was discovered that she was to become Head Witch once Eileen passed on, and she couldn't allow them to kill him because she didn't know whether she'd be able to cope after it. Some of the younger witches who rely on their powers for everything annoy her because she knows that their powers are the most valuable assets a witch can have, but with their human side they have to embrace their abilities and rely on common sense and intuition most of the time.

Acacia | Age: 23 | written by: Oasis
Clairvoyance and Astrakinsis -- All the witches in her coven can sense that she holds power, but thinks she just needs more practice or time to mature into her powers before they give her a label. The ability to create electrical discharges and lightning bolts or electrons in machines.

Acacia isn't always thinking straight, kind of keeps to herself only really knowing her grandmother Eileen. Other than that, she's comfortable being alone and immersing in spell books trying to coax her powers out although, one wouldn't exactly call her "studious." She likes to take advantage of her charms and doesn't get herself tangled with coven affairs. Since she doesn't know what her powers are, only that she gets random bursts of energy like electricity, she's caused her fair share of accidents and doesn't really feel like she fits in with everyone. Because of that, she's become an easy target for way of a warlock to infiltrate.

Okay, so I basically just copied everything that was in your first two posts in the last thread over, and the three of us can decide what of it we're keeping and then collect the other important points from the entire thread.

And I would tag our other author, but she hasn't posted yet. XD But here's what I picked up from going through the pages of the other thread. These are just what I think might be important but feel free to disagree! (I also might double post what I copied over, I just went through our conversation).
    • wandless witches
    • a witch is killed, the witches believe the warlocks killed her, then a warlock is killed and they are led to believe the witches retailed
    • in the middle of this feud, they discover there's an army being assembled and begrudgingly start to work with each other even though the don't trust the other coven
    • something happens which breaks their pact of working together - they are also on the losing side of this war
    • signs happen from either the dead witch or warlock, leads to the covens summoning this dead one and finding out that a demon actually killed them both
    • they work together again
      -
    • aging normally until their 25th year, when their full magical potential is unlocked, beginning the slow ageing
    • have family heirlooms/enchanted items
    • not all members are magical - the non-magical family members live in the town, having jobs and keeping the magical members safe from the public - the magical members in return live isolated in the woods and provide protection for the non-magical members
    • if a child is born magical to non-magical parents, they have to be raised by those parents plus a magical adult in order to provide them the appropriate knowledge
    • personalities tie into powers
    • monthly (?) coven meetings - discussing new magical family members, check up on the younger members, what they've heard of the supernatural world, other witchly-affairs
      -
    • rogue vamps/creatures attack before the war begins
    • when the war begins and the two covens work together, some demons flee because of how powerful the individual covens are, and how powerful they'll be together
    • some downworlders will side with the witches, some will be middlemen (give the covens news about what the downworlders are planning, and telling the downworlders what the covens are planning - but also know when not to tell something) - some end up seeking solace with the witches after being discovered and threatened to be killed

I didn't bring over character-specific information because I wasn't sure whether you guys would want to change your characters/abandon what you'd decided before. I know Nora's going to stay mostly the same aside from a little tweaking.

I don't think I had much for my character other than her name and power, and those I will keep. So she'll just need building, and I'll do that. With everything else I'm okay with making new plans, and cleaning up the rest. Cute

So I was thinking that the witches get common illnesses that affect humans, right? But they're just stronger when it comes to fighting them off? Because I was thinking that maybe Eileen, the Head Witch, could be concealing a disease that is affecting her a lot, and because of how old she is, it's affecting her more than it would a younger witch, and that could be part of the reason why she's grooming Nora and making sure that she's perfect to take over as Head Witch. Buuuut, maybe during the war, towards the end (but before the witches and warlocks finally start working together proper), it gets to her during an event where she's needed the most and she kind of collapses? It'd cause all sort of panic and also make it seem more likely that they're going to lose in this fight because she was their leader and now she's ill and not able to lead normally?

Shot me down if this seems too much on top of the war. Or you just don't like it. XD

Just had prom last night and my senior final exams are next week!

But anyways, I think I'll keep my character pretty much the same if not very very similar. I also think the common illnesses should still affect them, because it's like a little quirk we can add in. Don't think there should be any major illnesses though.

    Yeah, that works.

What more do we have to discuss other than you guys building on your characters? We all seem happy to keep the point I brought over and I'm not sure what else to discuss? XD

Do our two groups have special family/coven names? And we never agreed on a setting in the last thread I think.

I think I'll also be keeping the idea of Acacia being tricked into a manipulative relationship with a warlock who's binding her quickly growing powers despite still being 23. -- I was thinking my character with the enchanted bracelet would always feel the good and bad effects that the warlock put on them. So not only would the bracelet, necklace, ring, whatever, constrict her powers but it would also make her feel more "at ease" so even if she were to take it off, she wouldn't want to because the power of the enchanted item has such a strong affect on the stability of her emotions. In this way, he not only manipulates when her powers come into play, but he keeps her believing that the bracelet (and in turn himself) are both necessary for her to keep trying to unlock her powers.

I think he could maybe be masquerading as a supernatural or complete human, all depends on what we decide in the future - but he would always avoid meeting the 'family' my girl calls her coven.

^^ things I pulled from the old thread.

And before we start writing, maybe go onto the plot progression and how long certain events will take to take place, etc, if that makes any sense?

Other than that, I can't wait to start writing! I'm really rusty and haven't written anything creatively in well over a year, but I'm very excited! :)

Do you mean like the surname? Like the Astermoore coven? Or are you thinking of different names altogether? Think

Yees, I loved that idea before. Acacia and her beau's plot is so good. Weird

And I agree. We definitely should put the plot points in the order they're going to happen and then how many chapters are suitable to deal with the points, whether it's directly or indirectly.

    I'm super excited too! XD

yes! Surnames sounds good for the coven names.

I'm so excited to be writing such a juicy/messy plot line tehe

I think we could start with chapter outline and say, the background/prologue can take one chapter (?), introduction of characters and setting can be one chapter per author, and then the first exposure to the first murders are 2 chapters, etc - something along those lines? Not entirely sure.

PS. How are you guys doing? Haven't been on mibba in the longest and hope all is faring well Cute

    Great!

Mhm...I think I recall speaking about the first chapter in the previous thread, where there's a coven meeting and one member doesn't show, and like that one death could reveal the war that had been brewing between the two covens?

And I'm fine! Totally feeling my writing recently and can't stop. tehe How's it all been with you?
