[I figured we could start just after the whole Bucky reveal. Cute]

Lucy Andrews was one of those people who secretly disliked her job. She always knew that she wanted to be a nurse, she just really liked helping people, but working for Hydra was not where she expected herself to be in the slightest. The job itself wasn't bad, it was the organization itself and what it stood for. The only reason she really stuck around was because of him. The asset. She knew who he really was though, James Buchanan Barnes of the 107th infantry, member of the Howling Commandos and best friend to Steve Rogers. Most people would be afraid to go near such a dangerous man, but beneath the cold, harsh exterior of the soldier, he was a person like anyone else. He wasn't the machine that everyone else made him out to be. He was as human as she was, and Lucy picked up on this rather quickly. "You'd ought to be more careful, though I assume the other guy got the brunt of it." She said, a small smile gracing her lips.
Steve Rogers had seen a lot of seemingly crazy things since coming out of the ice. However, an alien invasion and an Asgardian god couldn't even prepare him for the discovery he had just made. His best friend was alive. Bucky Barnes was alive, and it seemed as though he didn't remember him in the slightest. He didn't understand how that was possible. Even with everything that he's seen and witnessed, it was the last discovery that he had ever expected to make. It almost made him sick to his stomach. He should have searched for him. He should have tried harder. He'd promised to be there for him til the end of the line, but he'd clearly gone back on that promise. That was the worst realization of them all.

(Of course, that's completely fine with me.)

Bucky was sitting down on a chair shirtless so Lucille could make sure that he wasn't injured, he knew that he hadn't gotten injured but it was her job to make sure that he was fine after every mission that he was given. "Why? I don't know those people, they are my mission." He told her as he turned his head to the side, his eyes focusing on the blonde who had always been there for him. She was different then the men he saw or dealt with, she wasn't cold like everyone else in the building and she still didn't understand why she cared so much. "My missions always get the brunt of my strength," He told her as he looked at the smile that graced her pink tinted lips, he didn't talk much to anyone there apart from Lucille. She was the light every time darkness creeped into his life, after every painful session where his memories were stopped from filling his mind, she was always there at his side.
Millie had finished having a meeting with Fury before she walked around until her hazel eyes found Steve, she had only heard stories about the Winter Soldier but had no idea that it was Bucky. The same Bucky that she had heard so much about from Steve, walking over to him she gently rested her hand on his back. "You couldn't have stopped this from happening, Steve. Hydra got their hands on him, they never cared about anyone but themselves." She knew nothing she said could possibly make Steve feel better, but she was still going to be there for him. If she was in his position, she would have been a complete mess and would never stop blaming herself. She couldn't imagine how he was feeling right now, "Can I do anything?" She asked him softly as she did want to help him, how she could, she had no idea.

[I just figured it was a good starting point tehe]

Lucy wanted to tell him. She wanted to tell him who his latest mission really was to him, but she bit her tongue. If she said anything, not only would she be putting herself at risk, but him at risk as well. She couldn't do that to either of them. It wasn't right. Making him do this just wasn't right, but she couldn't let on that she thought that. Having any opinion that was in disagreement with the rest of the organization was forbidden. "And I'm sure you'll complete your mission, you always do." She said quietly. "Of course they do, how silly of me." He was almost always successful, if he wasn't, well, she didn't exactly know what happened. Having looked over his files several times over, she assumed they put him back into cryo.
Steve couldn't help being angry and blaming himself for the fate that his best friend had received. After all, he was the one who had let Bucky fall from the train, right? This was all his fault. If he'd grabbed onto him, if he'd been a bit quicker, none of this would have happened. Bucky never would have become the Winter Soldier. He would've gone home after the war, met a gorgeous dame, gotten married, maybe had a couple of kids. Instead, this happened. "I could have prevented all of this if I didn't let him fall from the train." He said quietly, a sigh escaping his lips. "I made a promise to him, you know. Til the end of the line, and I couldn't even keep that promise."

    (It was Cute)

Bucky had only failed a couple of missions, but he guessed that Hydra fixed it all in their own ways. "I will finish this mission, they need to be stopped." He told Lucille as that is what he was made to believe, he had no idea that he was the bad guy working for the horrible people that he had fought in the army. If he did know then he wouldn't be sitting there, letting them control him and his mind. "You were being silly, Lucy." He told her as he remembered that she preferred to be called Lucy, he didn't remember all the time because the agents that he sees speaking with her only ever call her Lucille. He noticed a few strands of her blonde hair had fallen from the hair tie, so he reached out slowly with his normal hand and gently tucked the hair behind her ear. Even though he liked her hair out, which he had only seen a small handful of times.
Millie sighed softly as she looked at him, "Stop it." She told him quite firmly, "This isn't your fault. Yes you could have stopped him from falling off the train, but you couldn't reach him. If you had reached him, how do you know that both of you wouldn't have fallen? That fall would have killed anyone, Hydra was there which is why they kept Bucky alive. You couldn't stop that, Steve." She told him, "I know that this has hurt you. But why can't you be there for him now? If they can take his memories, you can give them back to him. It'll take time, but I know you can save him." She really did believe that if anyone could save the Winter Soldier, it would be Steve. "You have to believe in yourself, I believe in you." She admitted to him.

"I'm sure you will." Lucy wished that she could tell him everything. She wished that she could tell him the truth about Hydra and what they actually stood for. She wished that she could tell him who he really was and the person that this terrible organization was pitting him against had once been like a brother to him. He deserved to know the truth, and she wished that she could be the one to tell him, but she'd be doing more harm than good. Hydra would certainly dispose of her, and she didn't want to think about what they'd do to him if he acted out. She smiled slightly at the nickname. He was the only person here who ever seemed to call her that. Everyone else called her Lucille. She preferred Lucy, and clearly that was something that he remembered. "I do that sometimes." She said quietly, her eyes locking with his briefly when he reached up to tuck some stray pieces of hair behind her ear.
Steve looked to her, taken slightly aback by her firm tone. He knew that she was right, but he couldn't help blaming himself for what had happened. Doing that wasn't going to get them anywhere though. "You're right." He finally said after a few moments of silence had passed. "I failed him once, but I can't let it happen a second time." He refused to let that happen. He was going to help Bucky remember, no matter what it took him to do so. He was going to keep his promise. "I'll help him remember. I'll do everything that I can to help him. He deserved better. His life could have been so much better, but I shouldn't sit here dwelling on the past. That isn't helping anyone."

"Not a lot," Bucky told her as she wasn't silly a lot, she was smart and he felt like she could do so much more than just take care of him. He had told her that before, but she seemed to just brush it off. "I like your hair down," He told her rather bluntly but that's how he usually spoke now, he had always been open although that wasn't something that he remembered. He continued to look at her which he did do a lot when she was there with him, for some reason she kept him calm and for once he was able to think for himself. "Do you have to leave?" He asked Lucy as she usually had to leave him when he just wanted her to stay, he liked having her there and he was the most comfortable when it was just them.
Millie looked at Steve and smiled, "I could have told you that I was right." She wanted to lightened the mood and somewhat take Steve's mind off of everything that had just happened, "His life will be better. As long as we can get him away from Hydra," She wasn't going to let Steve do this alone, he was always helping and protecting other people. It was about time that someone was there for him, she knew getting anyone away from Hydra would be hard. But this would be nearly impossible, not only did Bucky not remember Steve. But he was Hydra's number one weapon, they wouldn't just get Bucky up easily. "We'll come up with a plan," She assumed him.

"Yes, a lot. You just haven't witnessed it happening very often." Lucy told him. He always told her that he thought she could be doing so much more with her life that had nothing to do with taking care of him. The truth was, other than fearing what Hydra would do if she tried to leave, she couldn't bring herself to leave him. She'd become attached to the man behind the soldier. He was more than a machine. He was an actual person, and she got to see who that person was. His words surprised her. "Oh yeah?" She asked, punctuating her words with a raised eyebrow. "It gets in the way when it's down. That's why I wear it up most of the time." She told him, busying herself with some of her supplies. She was prolonging this as much as she could. "If I could stay, I would. I'm not allowed to be here when Pierce comes in though."
Steve let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. "Next you're going to tell me that you're always right, and I'm pretty sure that that's not possible, even for you." He told her, his lips quirking up at the corners. He nodded in response to her later words. He knew that she was right. Any life outside of Hydra would be better than the life that Bucky was currently living. He deserved so much more than what he had right now, and Steve was going to help him get the life that he deserved. "We should start on that now. The sooner we figure this out, the better."

Bucky just thought that Lucy was being silly again, he had seen how talented she was when he had gotten injured in the past. "I don't think so," He spoke in his deep voice, the voice that used to be filled with life and joy. "I surprised you, do you not think the same?" He asked her as his brows pulled together slightly, he wasn't as in tune with emotions anymore, especially when it came to how other's felt. He wondered if Lucy didn't like her hair down or preferred her hair up, he watched her as she checked her supplies before he did start to frown. "I don't want to see Pierce," He told her which he had never done before, he's usually quiet when it came to Pierce but after seeing the blonde man that was his mission. He felt a little differently, it was something that he couldn't explain.
Millie couldn't help but smile at Steve, "And how do you know that? I could always be right, for all you know." She wasn't always right and she knew it, but at least it seemed to be making Steve feel a tiny bit better. "Are you sure? Bucky isn't going anywhere, you've just found out that he's alive. If you want some time to deal with this, take it." She looked at him as she didn't want him working himself too hard, she knew that he would and that Steve could get very stubborn. She just wanted to make sure that he's fine with everything, "I can start searching." She was a talented tracker and usually always found the person she was searching for, although finding where Hydra was hiding would be tough even for her.

Lucy glanced over to him, that soft smile returning to her face. "Well, I'm glad you seem to have so much faith in me." She told him. "Someone has to." She knew that she did her job well, but she had her reasons for staying her. One of them was the man sitting in front of her. She knew that she shouldn't have formed an attachment, if anyone ever found out, she didn't want to think about what would happen to her. It wouldn't be good though, that much she knew. She shrugged her shoulders slightly in response to his later words. "I just don't like when it gets in the way. It falls in my eyes and then I certainly can't do my job properly if I can't see." She said, letting out a quiet laugh. Her gaze shifted back over to him, a shocked expression on her face. He'd never said anything like that before. "Why not?" She asked him, a frown of her own crossing her face. "You always report back to him after missions. It's what you do."
Steve shrugged his shoulders. "From what I gather, that isn't the case." He told her, chuckling slightly. "I don't think it's humanly possible for anyone to be right all the time, but what do I know?" Her words had certainly served their intended purpose. He did feel a bit better now. He needed a laugh, even if it was only for a brief moment. "I'm sure." He said. "I've taken it in, I know what I have to do." He wasn't going to let his friend stay with them any longer. He couldn't let that happen. He didn't even want to know what they were doing to him. Little did he know that there seemed to be an angel amongst the demons, someone who had grown to care for his friend and looked after him to the best of her ability. "I think we need to stop them before we can do any tracking. We can't let their plan go through."

Bucky was still watching Lucille but confusion settled across his strong features, "People don't have faith in you?" He asked as that seemed strange to him, Lucy was a nurse so shouldn't everyone have faith in her? Maybe times had changed more than it seemed, but then a small smile formed on his lips as he listened to her smooth sweet voice. "That does make sense, but you'd do a good job either way." He told her honestly as he had seen first hand how well she was at her job, he really liked it when Lucy laughed. Even if it was a small laugh, it sounded wonderful to his ears but sadly he wasn't able to listen to her laugh every often. "I give him my report and then he leaves, he only cares about the missions. You never ask me about the missions," He admitted to her, he liked not talking about the missions he was given. Lucille hardly ever asked him about what he's done, they always find something to talk about and he liked that. They could talk about anything, Bucky wasn't used to that as no one else was actually interested in him as a person. He was just a soldier to Hydra.
Millie looked at Steve and gave his muscular arm a gentle smack, "Hey. I could always be right, you better not start being mean to me." She smiled at him warmly as she had at least gotten him to chuckle, which was enough for her right now. She nodded her head, "Okay. Well I hope that you know, I'm going to be here for you. You can't do this on your own, Steve." She told him as Fury had somewhat partnered them up together, "Stop them? We're talking about Hydra here, it's not going to be easy. We don't even know if Hydra has gotten to any of our agents, we'll have to keep this to ourselves and only agents that we trust." She didn't know how Hydra could have so many agents working for them, but they did and it would be easy for Hydra to get their hands on any SHIELD agents. It was a sore subject for her considering her parents died because a SHIELD agent didn't have their backs, the man was secretly Hydra and had let her parents die. She wanted to crush Hydra and keep them from reforming.

"Some people don't. I don't let it bother me too much." Lucy told him, giving her shoulders a slight shrug. This wasn't tied in entirely with her occupation, but sometimes it had to do with that. She was sure that there were at least some people here who didn't think that she should have the job that she had. The Winter Soldier was obviously important to the organization, and it hadn't been long after she'd been recruited that she'd been given this job. She wouldn't be surprised if it angered some people, or if some of them saw right through her and realized her lack of passion for Hydra. A small smile crossed her lips at his later words. "Again, you seem to have more faith in me that other people around here do." She said. An obvious mutual trust had begun to form between them. It was probably something that no one from Hydra anticipated happening. "The missions aren't my business." She told him. "I have no reason to ask you about them. I'm just here to clean you up afterwards...did something happen? You've never said anything like this before." She was both concerned and curious. She cared about him. He was more than just an asset to Hydra for her. He was just as human as she was, and she wished that more people treated him like one instead of like a machine.
Steve chuckled softly, shaking his head. "I can assure you that that isn't going to happen, ma'am." He told her, a small smile on his face. He was glad that there was at least a slight shift in conversation. Millie was good at doing that, changing the subject, but she was also extremely good at what she did, and she knew when things had to get done. She knew when conversations like this one weren't appropriate or necessary. She just had really good judgement he supposed. "I never said that I could, but if I was alone, I'd try anyway. I owe Bucky that much." He knew that this wasn't all about his best friend. It was more so about stopping Hydra, but the fact that they'd had Bucky this entire time, it sort of just added fuel to the fire and motivated him even more. "I know, and that's going to make the task at hand more challenging, but we have to at least try."

Bucky knew that Lucille could get into trouble if she did begin to start asking about his missions, which is why he never really told her about any as he didn't want to put her in any risk of danger. "Then people are stupid," He told her honestly as that is how he felt, maybe people here didn't know Lucy like he did and that could be why they didn't have much faith in her. He wasn't certain about that but if that was the case, Lucy had nothing to worry about as her work should speak for itself. "Nothing has happened, it's nothing." He told her before he looked around and found a sign on the wall to focus on, it was hard for him to explain but he just felt different. It had only just started earlier today when he saw who his mission was, he had no reason for feeling like this and he didn't want to say too much in case someone was watching them or listening in on what he was telling Lucille.
Millie smiled and tried her hardest to stop the blush that was threatening to form across her cheeks, she loved it when he called her ma'am. It reminded her that he had been frozen and she was glad that he hadn't changed now that he lived in a different time period, "Good." She smiled as she looked at him and gently reached her hand out to touch his forearm, "I know you'd try and you'd probably get really close. But you can get even closer with me by your side, we'll get Bucky out." She promised him which she hardly never did to anyone, but she wouldn't stop until Hydra was ruined and Bucky was at least safely away from them. She wasn't sure what he had gone through but if he didn't remember Steve, then Hydra must have done a lot of damage to his mind which would be hard to undo.

Lucy knew better than to asks questions about his missions. Her job was to patch the asset up after each mission and that was it. If she starter asking questions, and he answered them, it would mean trouble for them both. Really, with Hydra, it was best not to question anything. Just do your job and that was it. It meant no trouble, and that's what Lucy liked. She let out a quiet laugh in response to his words, though she knew that he was being entirely honest. "I suppose they are." She said, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't let what they think bother me though. They don't matter." Unlike you. He meant a great deal to her. She nodded in response to his later words, she wasn't going to ask any questions. "Alright." She didn't want to push him to talk if he didn't want to talk, and it was probably better if she didn't know anyway.
Steve looked down to her, nodding. "Thank you." He said quietly. He would have gone in there with or without her to save his friend, but it was nice knowing that he at least had her there to help him. He was ready to do just about anything to save his friend. He owed Bucky that much after everything that had happened. He didn't know what Hydra had done to him over the years, but that didn't matter to Steve. Well, it did, it angered him because they'd been building themselves up within SHIELD, and they'd had Bucky this entire time, and no one had even realized it. It made him wonder just how many agents were with them. "We should go tell the others."

Bucky was glad that Lucille didn't pay any attention to what people thought about it, he wasn't sure if that was a normal thing among people nowadays. But he had never cared about what people thought of him, well that was how he felt. He couldn't remember a single thing before waking up in this room after the metal had been connected to his shoulder, sometimes it bothered him a great deal and other times he didn't think about it. He didn't know a way around getting his memories back, so he had to get let it go. His eyes moved over to the door that was suddenly opened, a handful of agents entered the room first before Pierce walked in. "You can leave now," Pierce spoke to Lucille in a way that made her know how much lower in the ranks she was compared to him, Bucky always hated the tone of Pierce's voice and the way he spoke to Lucy but sadly there was nothing he could do about it.
"You don't have to thank me," Bonnie smiled at Steve and nodded her head, they needed to at least tell a few people about what they wanted to do. She wasn't sure if Steve even knew what happened to her parents, he may be focused on finding his friend. But Bonnie needed her vengeance on the people who killed her parents, she knew that Fury had only told the people he trusted with his life and if Steve was one of them than she wasn't sure. She didn't mind if he did know, but if he didn't than he would find out soon enough. Fury had in the past, teamed Bonnie up with a few agents but she knew that it was so she could be watched over and protected. As she walked beside Steve, she spotted a few agents that probably already knew what was going on in Steve's mind. Natasha and Maria Hill being the main two.

Lucy knew that developing an attachment of any kind to this man could be dangerous. Not because of who he was but who he worked for and who she worked for also. Hydra couldn't know about it or really any of the conversations that they had. If they knew about the relatively close relationship that she had with the soldier, it would be bad for both of them. Before either of them could say anything else, the door was being opened. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw Pierce enter the room. Nodding wordlessly, she stole one last glance over to him before leaving the room altogether.
Steve sent a small smile her way, nodding his head. "That's where you're wrong, I do. There are a lot of people out there who wouldn't want to take something like this on." He told her. It wasn't just a few Hydra agents. It was more than any of them could have possibly known about. They didn't really know what they were going up against, not entirely at least. Steve knew that something had to be done though. Hydra needed to be stopped, and he would die trying if he had to.

Bucky's eyes had been trained on Lucy as she had to leave the room, he turned his attention onto Pierce when he pulled a stool over so he was sitting in front of Bucky. Pierce begun to ask him the same questions that he always did, so Bucky answered them like he did after every mission. Another agent was taking notes on what Bucky was saying, Pierce didn't look that pleased when Bucky said that he hadn't finished his mission and then was asked why. "He's stronger than I expected," Bucky spoke simply in his deep voice, he just wanted to get this over and done with. So he could get back out there and finish his mission, before getting tasked with another.
Bonnie looked at Steve and couldn't help but shake her head lightly, "I'm not like other people. I want Hydra ruined as much as you do, my parents were SHIELD agents. They had been so talented and loved around here, they were on a mission and were betrayed by an agent they trusted. He was undercover for Hydra, he let my parents die." She told him quietly as it wasn't something she liked talking about, "Even if you weren't here. I'd find a way to bring Hydra down," She had been planning this moment for years now, she wouldn't let anything get in her way.

Lucy always found herself worrying about him whenever she left. She knew that she shouldn't, her job was to patch him up after every mission and that was it, but she wasn't like everyone else from Hydra. She didn't see him as a machine. He was a person. He was human, and that metal arm didn't make him any less so. She knew that none of them would ever realize that, Pierce especially. She wished that she could get them both out of there. It wasn't the first time that a thought like that came to mind. She knew that it would be an impossible task, but a girl could hope, right?
Steve frowned. "I'm sorry about your parents." He said. He knew that she wasn't telling him for that reason, she wasn't looking for him to give her his condolences, but he was going to give them either way. It was just the type of person that he was. Hydra had clearly inflicted pain on the lives of many people, and he was glad that he wasn't the only one willing to stand up and fight. They needed to be stopped, and he'd do everything in his power to make sure that it happened. "We should go talk to the others, come up with a plan of action."

Bucky wasn't sure how long it took before Pierce left with the other agents, but he was glad when the door was shut once again and he was left alone. Now he was allowed to do whatever he wanted, he usually went in search of Lucille but if she was busy then he'd go to the gym. Standing up from the chair he walked out of the room, his eyes searching the hallway for Lucy but he didn't find her. He walked to the right knowing there was one room that he often found Lucy in, he always tried the room first whenever she wasn't near him. "You always try to hide from me," Bucky spoke as a small smile formed on his lips when he did find Lucille again.
"Thank you," Bonnie spoke quietly before nodding her head, they started to walk again before entering a room which Steve shut the door behind them so they could have some privacy. Bonnie looked at the group of trusted agents, most of them probably already knew what they'd need to do because Hydra had been a pain to them for some time now. "We're going to bring them down," Bonnie spoke as she sat down at the large table, it could take them some time before they all settled on a plan so it was best if they all sat at the table so they could talk about this.

Lucy knew that her job was essentially done for the day, but she liked to hang back and make sure that he was alright. She knew that she shouldn't care about him as much as she did. She knew that caring about him was dangerous, not because of who he was, but because of who they worked for but she couldn't help it. She'd become attached to the man, and there was nothing that she could really do about it. She was currently sat in the room far away, but still close enough, to the medical bay. When the door opened, she looked up, smiling slightly when she saw who it was. "I wouldn't necessarily call it hiding." She said.
Steve nodded. "You're welcome." He said. He followed her into the room, closing the door behind him. He didn't want to risk anyone outside of this group of people overhearing this discussion. The people in the room were the people he trusted most and who he knew would be on board for taking down Hydra. He took a seat at the table as well. "We don't know how many of them there are, but I think that all of us here are willing to do whatever it takes to bring down Hydra." He said. It was going to be a challenging feat, but he knew that no one here was going to back down.
