What Are We Now?

Pietro finished tying his shoe as he looked at the other mutant who was here with him. He had seen her around but otherwise hadn't talked to her much. Looking around, he nodded to Dr. Banner who seemed to be getting the simulation ready while there was another woman he hadn't seen before. He had to shake his head as he got caught staring at her but damn, she was beautiful, he thought. Looking up when Banner called his name, he walked over. "Yes Doctor?" he asked, his Russian accent flowing out easily. "We are going to do an experiment on your stamina. You are basically going to run at a comfortable pass until you get tired or we tell you to stop," he said. Piotr nodded before looking at the other woman in a lab coat. She was truly beautiful, he thought before nodding toward her. "And you are ma'm?" he asked politely.

Kelia finished getting her suit on and she looked around. This was going to be her first simulation as her powers were just starting to get controllable and consistent. Biting her lip gently, she continued to play with her hands as she tried to keep her nerves calm. Walking over, she touched the glass gently that separated her from one of the simulation rooms. She wasn't sure how this was going to work. Looking down at her hands, she bit her lip gently. She could camouflage her body quite well against almost anything while she could also change the idea of gravity. Making it so she could almost fly while also making it feel like tons and tons on top of someone else. Biting her lip gently, she took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down, her nerves were rung. Looking over, she watched Dr. Banner and the other researcher talked.

[Sorry for the delay, I got home super late last night. I won't be on much tomorrow...I'm going to work in the morning and then I'm going straight into Manhattan to see All Time Low afterwards, just giving you a heads up ]

Andrea, Andy as she preferred, was looking through the files on the two mutants that she and Dr. Banner were working with that day. They were just running a few tests, seeing what each of them was capable of really. It was nothing crazy and it certainly wasn't all that big of a deal. She'd heard a great deal about Pietro Maximoff. He and his sister had both played a major role in the battle against Ultron in Sokovia. Pietro would be monitored a bit more closely than Kelia. It was just a precaution seeing as he'd made a fairly remarkable recovery and a fast one at that. "Andrea Carmichael." She responded a small smile playing upon her lips. "No need for ma'am or any of those formalities, makes me feel old. Andy's fine."

Dr. Banner had been back for a few weeks now. After the battle in Sokovia, he'd kind of fled in the hopes of clearing his head and figuring some things out for himself. Things with Natasha hadn't progressed any further since then, not that he'd really seen the redhead assassin much to begin with. She'd been busy helping Steve train the newer members of the newly assembled Avengers. To be completely honest, he had been pretty busy as well. He, and a team of other scientists and researchers, had been asked to oversee the training and testing of some mutants, the Maximoff twins included. Today, he and Andy Carmichael would be performing some tests and observations of Pietro and Kelia. "Andy, if you wouldn't mind overseeing Pietro, I'm going to be testing Kelia." He told the blonde before walking over to the young woman. "How are you today, Kelia?" He asked politely.

Piotr looked at her for a moment and smiled gently. “Okay,” he said with a flirtatious smile on his face. “As the lady wishes, Andy,” he said with a wink. “So when shall we begin?” he asked a she rubbed his palms together. It was wasn’t that he was particularly interested in doing more tests but he figured that the sooner they got done than the sooner he would be able to go out and do actual fun stuff with the rest of the team. He was sick of being stuck in here and observed like a lab rat. Looking at Andy again, he kept his smile firmly planted on his face. “Whenever you are ready to begin Andy,” he said, liking how her name flowed off his tongue.

Kelia looked up when Dr. Banner spoke today and she smiled gently. “I’m fine. How are you Doctor?” she asked before turning back and looking at the simulation room. “What am I going to do today?” she asked curiously. Looking at him, her eyes traced over his tan skin from his soft pink lips up to his beautiful green eyes. A deep blush colored her skin when she realized that she was staring and that she got caught staring. Looking down at her feet, her hands were twisting the hem of her shirt around. She was young and naïve she thought as she bit her lip hard. Her hands were trembling as she tried to keep control of her powers. Suddenly, she lost it. There was a ripped through her skin before she became see through, just like the glass that she was standing in front of. “I’m so sorry,” she said. “I….I…I just need….” She said as she felt the panic rising.

Andrea had been told about the speedster's mischievous, and sometimes flirtatious, ways. That didn't mean that she was prepared for the clearly flirtatious smile or wink that he sent her way. The combination caused a light blush to form on her cheeks. She could tell that this was going to be a rather interesting experience. If she was working with anyone else it might be a bit dull, but something told her that, with Pietro around, there was never a dull moment. "I'm ready if you are." She said, a small smile gracing her lips.

"I'm doing well, thank you." Dr. Banner said, being the ever polite man that he normally was. He had never really spoken with Kelia before, though he had seen her around the facility a couple of times, and he had read her file and was familiar with her abilities. "We're just running a few tests, finding out some more specifics on your abilities." He told her. It was important, but not overly important if that made any sense at all. He noted that she was nervous, though he didn't want to call her out on it. He wasn't that type of person and he knew that it would only make things worse. He glanced down at the clipboard in his hands, looking up when she spoke again only to see her disappear before his very eyes. "It's alright, you don't need to apologize. I do need you to relax....just close your eyes and take deep breaths. You're fine." He coached her.
