Ivan opened the front door of the house that he and his wife had moved to about a year ago. Looking around, he smiled gently at all of the little touches that they had put around the house to make it their own. Granted they were probably only here for another two years unless he got deployed. Running hi fingers through his hair, he set his ruck down before taking off his ACU Blouse and boots. Looking around again, he walked into the living room, searching for his angel. “Robyn?” he called out. “Babe?” he asked as he continued to search around the house for his gorgeous wife. She was truly his saving grace, his everything. Seeing her, he broke out into a smile as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against him. “Hey love,” he whispered into her hair as he kissed her forehead. “How was your day?” he asked gently as he continued to hold her before finally letting go and smiling. “A new guy started today” he sadi thoughtfully. “Boyle, he and his wife moved here officially yesterday. Those were the movers you saw down the street,” he informed her.
Cori bit her lip gently as she continued to open boxes and unpack. Patrick had gotten orders that they were moving and she sighed softly. She had been working all day to try and get more of their house unpacked but it seemed the more she did the more there was to be done. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun and she was wearing one of Patrick’s tee shirts along with a pair of shorts. Great, she thought, real attractive. She hadn’t even started dinner, which was a moot point as they didn’t have any food nor anything to cook with unpacked. The movers had come yesterday with all of their stuff and unfortunately Patrick had to start work already so she was left spending most of the days trying to make the house into their home. While she did complain, she liked unpacking, it was fun to mix and match and make rooms up. Patrick will be home soon, she thought as she moved to the next box. Pulling out a picture of them on their wedding day, she smiled happily before going to hang it up on the wall in the living room.
