The Beast Within

Clarke walked out of her bedroom she was ready to head to the night club across town, it was known for being filled to the brim with vampires. She had yet met one and the idea of it exhilarated her. She pushed a hand through her hair then grabbed her clutch and car keys. The night had only begun and she could feel her heart pumping in her chest, she knew the idea of letting a vampire feed on her was what fueled her need to go to this club and as much as it was frowned upon she couldn't bring herself to care. She wanted to try it, if only once.

When she arrived at the club the lights were fairly dim and she could already sense eyes on her from every corner of the room, it was like she was on display. She had pinned her hair up partially before walking in to give them a good look at her neck. Unmarked women were something vampires sought out - at least thats what people said on the internet.

I walked through the closely packed people, trying to find a way toward the bar. I wanted something to drink, but finding a bar that served humans and vampires was proving harder than expected. I found one and slid onto a stool, ordering a soda until I could figure out how I wanted to spend the rest of tonight.

Being surrounded by vampires would normally be terrifying to most but it was normal here. They lived among us, and sometimes dated humans as well. I thought about dating a vampire before but wasn't sure how well it would work out.

Clarke took a seat at the bar and ordered a sweet drink before crossing her legs, she sipped the drink lightly before looking around the bar. Many eyes were on her but she was doing her best not to meet the eyes of any of them, she didn't want to meet eyes with the wrong person. She'd looked up tips, because lets face it; vampires were far from like human men, leagues away from them infact. So the very idea of having one tail you all the way home terrified you.

Jongin was seated in is usual spot next to his creator; Kyungsoo. "She knows you're staring just go say hi, whats the worst that can happen? Besides if you don't go talk to her, and feed soon - you'll go into a catatonic state and don't want to deal with that again," he scoffed.

I chewed on my lip and sighed, looking around and seeing red eyes staring at mine. I looked away quickly, staring at the bar. Attracting a dangerous vampire was not on my list of things to do. But showing up was. I took another sip of my drink and sighed, spinning the glass i

He chuckled darkly, looking at the bar in front of him. "And if I leave to go, what will you do for the rest of the night?" He askes him. He had been staring because he had never seen someone as beautiful as she was in his 600 years of being on this earth. He almost didn't know how to go about it, though he'd never admit or let it show.

"I'll manage I'm four hundred years old," he snorted, "You don't have to worry about me being alone, I know how to feed," he said as he sat back and licked his lips, "The Synthetic shit is gross, we need to feed tonight, and you need to let go of the fear of hurting a human, they get off on it,"

She finished her second drink and sighed, still no one had approached her - it was okay she was patient and besides listening to conversations around her was keeping her plenty busy.

"It doesn't change the fact that I'm responsible for you." Kyungsoo shrugged, looking around the bar, his eyes going back to her. "And even still, it wasn't always okay to hunt humans, it's not something I'm used to." He added.

"You're just soft on them, they want us, they painted us like gods - we should take advantage of it," he told him smiling a little, "Find a regular to feed on, you only feed every few days so its not a big deal,"

He laughed quietly and slid from his stool, turning to look at Jongin. "Alright fine. I'm supposed to be teaching you, remember?" He asked, turning to look at the girl again. "Stay out of trouble, alright?" He added, walking away and heading towards the girl.

He had never asked someone to be a regular before. Normally, he convinced a girl to let him for a night and never saw her again. But he'd try something different. "Hello," He said softly, his eyes on her face to see her reaction to him.

She looked up and her eyes met his red ones, "Hi," she murmured softly as she looked at him with a small smile, unsure of what he wanted from her. Clarke knew that she had to play this safe, last thing she needed was to be drained.

Jongin sighed a little, being just over four hundred years old led to a lot of issues, it took years for vampires to gain control of their blood lust and he had just gained his. He got up and walked over to the bar seating himself next to a girl, "Hello," he said to her lightly, "I'm going to cut to the chase, you wouldn't be here if it wasn't to meet a vampire; and seeing as I am one, I think we can come ot a mutual agreement,"

I looked up at him, my eyebrows raised slightly. "Mutual agreement?" I asked him curiously. "Alright, then let's talk." I said, shrugging a bit and pushing my glass away slightly. "How often do you need to eat?" I asked,curiously.

He smiled a little and sat down, facing her. "Are you here to find a particular vampire?" He asked, looking around them. "I'm looking to find someone who's interested in a mutual agreement, and seeing you I knew you wouldn't be here if you weren't looking for the same or were meeting someone youre in oje with now."

"Every two to three days," he said as he looked at her,"And I don't require much, as long as you take B12 regularly you should be fine, and iron," he said.

Clarke looked at him, "I haven't thought about it much, I didn't think I'd even be approached to be honest," she said to him as she licked her lips before taking a sip of her drink, "Do you have any stipulations?" she asked him curiously.

He shook his head. "I wasn't too sure, so I'd rather make sure before I ask." He said lightly. "I won't ask you to drastically change your diet or anything, but taking iron, or eating iron rich foods is important."

"And for me? What will it feel like?" I asked curiously, looking at his eyes. They were the brightest red I had ever seen, it was almost unnerving. But exciting too.

"It'll feel great," he told her as he looked at her,"It'll send a rush of endorphines through your blood stream when I bite you causing a similar feeling to euphoria, then we'll probably fuck," he said to her honestly.

She nodded a little as she thought about it, "How often do you feed?" she asked gently, "And .. does it hurt?" she asked softly as she chewed on the inside of her cheek.

I laughed at his bluntless and nodded. "Good to know." I said lightly. "But have you done this before? I won't die, will I?" I asked curiously. "And it's just feeding and sex, no feelings right?"

"Two or three times a week." He said simply. "It won't hurt at all, just the opposite. You'll feel elated, a sort of euphoria. It's partially sexually driven, so you'll probably feel a sexual frustration. And so in return, we'll have sex to sate you."

He laughed,"There is bound to be an attatchment since I'm drinking from you, but I won't kill you if thats all you're worried about," he told her.

She nodded,"That doesn't sound so bad," she murmured softly,"Does the synthetic stuff not sate you? I mean, it's like humans not eating meat right?" she asked him.

I nodded a little, looking at him. "Is there a way to tell if you need feeding?" I asked. "Will we have times you show up or will it be random?"

"Its vile if we're being honest. Very nasty. Like being forced to be vegan when you have a strong distaste for tofu." He explained.

"I'll come every two or three days, if I don't show up day two you'll know I'll definitely be there for day three," he said to her. "Just take care of yourself once I feed, because you'll feel a little weaker than usual," he told her.

She nodded,"Makes sense, I imagine all that chemically processed shit isn't good for you just as it isn't good for us," she said understanding.

I nodded a little. "Are you hungry now? Why don't you like the synthetic stuff?" I asked curiously.

"I don't care for the taste, and it isnt the same. We arent at full strength on synthetic stuff either." He added.

She nodded a little,"So... why don't we get out of here then," she murmured lightly as she looked at him, licking her lips, "Wouldn't want you to go hungry," she murmured.

"Tastes like shit smells," he said making a face, "And I'm famished," he said to her as he licked his lips, he could see the vein in her neck now and it was tempting.
