Aubrey's Editing Shop

Hello! As of August 14th, this shop is OPEN. In this shop, you can request edits for your work, whether it be on the site or not. It can be a chapter, an article, a poem, anything. My editing strengths include spelling and grammar, as well as pointing out confusing parts of the plot and helping with the overall flow of each chapter, as well as the story as a whole.

__✦ I will work on two requests at a time
__✦ You may request one edit at a time, and once I'm finished with one request, you may request another
__✦ I can edit individual chapters, poems, articles or even a whole story. Just be aware that editing a whole story will take more time.

__✦ If your request is not on mibba, I will ask for a copy through messages or googledocs
__✦ I will make edits to your work and send back the edited piece through messages. If it is a full length story, then I will send one chapter at a time.
__✦ I will ask if you have any concerns for the piece before and after I receive and edit your piece.
__✦ Once editing is complete and you are satisfied, please strikeout your post made on this thread.

Extra: This is a totally new writing style to me, I usually write in first person, not third, so I don't even know if it's right, just a heads up.

Type of editing required: I don't need editing on the technical aspects as much, I really need more feedback on the cohesiveness, any gaps in the storyline, character development, that sort of thing. I'm ridiculous awful about starting off a piece really strong and then burning out by the time I get to the end

Anything extra you'd like to mention: It's a The 100 fanfiction, so I'd also like to know if it's understandable/can be enjoyed without any prior knowledge of the fandom and if I need to include more background info on that front

Date you would like it to be finished by: The story is a work in progress, so if possible I send you a chapter when it is finished and you edit it when you have time. I am very patient.
Anything extra you'd like to mention: The story I am writing, or will be writing, is a story for NaNoWriMo this year, which means I'll be writing a lot more than I usually would. Still, I would only send you one chapter at a time. I'm not sure if you take on longer ventures such as these, as the story isn't finished. I'd also love any feedback you'd be able to give.

Anything extra you'd like to mention: This is a first draft of a young adult fiction story I have written, and I am looking for feedback on the story as a whole.
