Give Me a God

Your Mission:
Choose a picture below of a God or Goddess and write me a story or poem based upon the image. This might require some research on your part because I will be including Gods and Goddesses from other cultures (Norse, Egyptian, etc.) as well as from Greek mythology. Other Gods/Goddesses not on the list can show up in your story. You can modernize them. Anything goes.

Rules:
-Follow Mibba guidelines
-Length is not an issue. It can be a drabble, poem, or chaptered story. If you choose to do a chaptered story, it does not need to be finished by the deadline. I will judge what you have done.
-Link this contest and the picture in your summary.
-Let me know if you have changed your username, need to drop out, or need an extension.
-Any rating is acceptable.

Prizes:
-recommendations on 3 of your stories (of your choice)
-subscription to 2 of your stories (of your choice)
-comments on any 3 posts of your choice (articles, stories, poems, etc)
-user recommendation
-blog written for your entry/story of your choice
-a link to your winning entry in my signature for a month
-a recommendation on any 3 stories of your choosing
