Is it October yet? - NHL memorium

The end of hockey season is bittersweet - on the one hand, it's the PLAYOFFS! (And I have time to do contests!) On the other...well, it's the end of hockey season.

So how about we get our hockey fix here?

Here's how it works:

{The Game Plan}
-There are 10 positions open to guarantee I have time to devote to each entry.
-You'll choose two numbers:
1) 1-30. This determines your team. They're randomly numbered.
2) 1-58. This determines your song. I have a playlist of a ton of different, current songs ready to go.
-So, once you've chosen your numbers, post them below and I'll send you a message with your details and add them to this post. It gives you a more direct heads up and it allows everyone to see which teams and songs are taken.
-You may choose ANY player on the roster.
-Get writing! The deadline is June 19. That gives you two days to sober up if the Final goes to a Game 7. The deadline to enter has been pushed back to June 21! Happy writing!

{The Rules}
-You cannot change your team. What you get it what you get.
-UPDATE: You can change your song number ONCE. Leave a message below with your new song number.
-There is a 1,500 word minimum.
-Please list/link your song in the description of your story. You can cite lyrics if you want.
-Your story should match the story/mood of your song.
-Please utilize spell check.
-Please mention/link this contest in the description!
-There is a five (5) chapter maximum!
-Any rating level is fine as is profanity and smut

-A detailed comment on any one (1) story of your choice
[Honorable Mention]
-A detailed comment on any one (1) story of your choice
