Chase stretched out in the front of the van and looked back at the girl. He hadn't meet her to long ago but yet there she was sleeping in the back of his van comfortable and so cute. Lola was tagging along on his cross country journey. He had made a deal with her. They would stop at all the places she wanted if she would stop for every gig he managed to bargain. Being a solo musician was hard. Much harder than he had anticipated when he had quiet his job to finally follow his dreams. Chase ran a hand through his hair the bright light coming through the driver side window was impossible to sleep through. The curtains in the back were all drawn for Lola so she was case into the light shadows. He sighed looking out at the little campaign spot, He was thinking about buying a tent for such actions but he wasn't there yet. Chase looked back at Lola for a moment and then got out of the van to go into the woods to pee. He came back a little while later cleaning up and starting on some morning necessities. He was surprised that Lola was still asleep at this point though. He smiled lancing in at her. Something about that girl intrigued him. He had known her for about a week now.

Kali snapped the photo as the sun finally fell into place. She sighed hail thinking it was still well worth it to have gotten up before the rising of the sun. Kali adjusted her hiking backpack back onto her back. She groaned under it's weight for just a moment before headed back to the road. Kali walked along the side of the road her camera hanging over her neck. She looked back at the road seeing a car speeding her direction. She put her thumb up and groaned as it speed right by. Kali was indeed on this journey for a reason though and wether she liked it or not this was a part of the journey. Kali sighed and looked back at the road in front of her. She walked on as the sun slowly started to rise and the heat was growing. Another car raced past her thumb of need. Kali sighed and shook her head looking down. She heard the gravel moving before she heard the car. She squealed and ran up to the rolled down window. "I'm headed north." she said grinned at the driver. The young man behind the wheel giving her a dazzling smiled. She grinned hoping that he would give her a ride to were ever.

Lola sat up and stretched, she glanced at her phone, her eyes widening at the time. She jumped out of the van and walked over towards Chase. "Hey...Sorry I slept so late, I never sleep this late." She said with a little smile. "So where are we headed today?" She asked, looking up at the sky, it was sunny, but a storm was rolling in off in the distance. "Also since you've been so nice to let me hitch a ride with you, and sleep in your van, let me treat you to breakfast?"

Oliver smiled at the girl with the camera around her neck, she was cute. "I'm not going anywhere in particular, but I'm headed north and I'm trying to play as many gigs as possible. Your welcome to join." He said, feeling a little uneasy about his decision.

Chase smiled as Lola came out of the van. He was fitted on a stump playing a soft tune with his guitar. He stopped looking up at her as she started to speak. "You must have been tired. It's no big deal." he said and smiled. "Well I figured we could hit up a few places on our way toward Boise." he said. He had started in California and had traveled up the west coast picking Lola up some where between Organ and Washington. He smiled softly at the memory. They would be headed into the eastern side of Washington now. "Well breakfast sounds good but you don't have to pay Lola. I enjoy the company." he said though the crick in his neck from sleeping in the front seat was screaming otherwise. Chase ran a hand through his hair and smiled gently at her. "So where do you want to eat anyways?" He asked knowing it would be half an hour before they got into any kind of town with real places to eat.

Kali blushed. "Are you sure? I mean I don't want to make you uncomfortable or anything." she said easily sensing his discomfort with his decision. Kali ran a hand through her hair and looked around. It was hard to get rides. "I mean I could tag along to the next town and if you still feel funny about letting me come along I can catch another ride there." Kali said and blushed hoping she wasn't scary or anything. She wouldn't see why he would be nervous of little her when she should be more nervous of him. Kali's smokey blue eyes meet his and she tried to gage his level of intent to help. She was getting more nervous the longer she talked to him because he was getting nervous. She bit her lip not sure what to say now. It was all up to him.
