Allowing Oliver to vent, Sean patiently listened to all of his concerns and issues with the current situation. He followed behind a few paces and crossed his arm over his chest, merely sighing. It was clear to him why Oliver's mother had transcended down that past based upon the previous reports. Oliver's father beat his mother on a daily basis and offered no sense of remorse for doing so. The drugs were the only way for his mother to relax and take away the pain that he had caused. "Oliver, I understand that you're upset, but that was the only way that your mother learned to cope with what was happening. I'm not saying that it's an excuse, but she's survived," He stated once Oliver's temper started to simmer. Sean reached into his pocket to call over the car, ordering the driver to go to the motel. They both needed some rest after everything.
Entering inside of the motel room, his eyes slid over to Oliver on the bed. Unfortunately, it was the only one inside of the room since the motel was out of doubles for the night. They only had one room left, and it was a queen sized single bed. It seemed that they would just have to make do. Once the door closed behind him, Sean sat down on the bed and offered his services, "I can get her the help that she needs. The only thing is, is that you need to convince her that she needs helps. There's no sense in trying to help an addict that doesn't want it." That would be the difficult part. His mother clearly did not want to face the fact that she had an addiction and was quite sensitive to the matter when confronted on the matter.
