Rebekah trailed her fingers through her long blonde hair and huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. She loathed how much she missed Jeremy Gilbert, but what she hated more is that she couldn't face him and tell him her feeling ran deep for him, she was pretty good at masking it all with hate and sarcasm. But, for some reason, she felt more confident in herself today, more than she ever had. After sitting her glass of bourbon on the table beside of her, she stood to her feet, her British accent echoing in the large mansion, shouting at her disfunctional siblings "I'm leaving, don't miss me to much!" and with that, she made her way to the large double doors, swinging them open, she took in a deep breath before walking outImage

She knew Jeremy's favorite spot was the lake house, if not the grill. After catching a cab, Rebekah told the driver the location of the lake house, and to get her there asap. He nodded, and didn't bother to charge her, most people were intimidated by her, just by the mere presence of her. With a coy smirk tugging at her lips, she rested her head against the window, waiting rather impatiently. Moments later, her non-exsistant heart sank deep into her chest, now that she was being stopped at the lake house, she felt talkless. But, after seeing Jeremy from afar using his punching bag to rid whatever frustrations and anger he had built up, she smiled and got out of the cabImage

She approached him in slow motion however, her eyes fluttered for a few moments as she found herself standing behind him. "Jeremy" she said, her tone low and soft. Her sapphire hues scanned his figure over a dozen times or so it seemed as she waited for him to turn around, not even sure if he heard her through the many punches he was still throwing to the punching bag, after waiting for a few moments, she crossed her arms over her chest and watched, amusement dancing in her eyesImage

Jeremy laid on the couch in the lake house. The young male had fallen back into old habits. Ones in particular he gained from his previous partner, Vicky. Jeremy stood to his feet, deciding on fighting through the high, and sweating it out of his system.

Jeremy and Bonnie were beginning to get close, when he started having visions of both Vicky and Anna. Jeremy wanted to tell his sister, but she was to caught up in what ever drama was currently going on with them and Katherine.

Jeremy grunted lightly as he delivered blow after blow to the punching bag, quickly working up a sweat before resting his head against the large object , in thought. Then, Jeremy thought he heard his name being spoke. He was unsure if it really happened, or if it was just the drugs. He turned around regardless.

"Rebekah. Elena's not here, and now's not a good time. It's probably best that you leave." He said before turning back around to face the punching bag. Jeremy assumed he would never understand the Mikealson's obsession with his sister.

Rebekah got annoyed with waiting for him to turn around, but once he did, he looked angry, and high. The normal little Gilbert she knew of. Flicking her hair over one side of her shoulder, she crossed her arms back over her chest and kicked at the rocks beneath her feet before proceeding to speak. "What makes you think i'm here for Elena, isn't she busy loving both Stefan and Damon?" She questioned, a dry chuckle escaping her plump lips as she made eye contact with him.

After he turned his back to her again, Rebekah made her way around to the punching bag, and grabbed it with both hands, preventing it from moving as he punched it. "It's rude to turn your back on a lady" she gestured, rolling her sapphire hues. "I'm here to see you" she stated, in truth. Which was frightning to her, especially when it came to Jeremy Gilbert, despite the fact that he despised her, Rebekah could only wish that everyone would stop looking at her for the mistake Niklaus made.

"I don't understand why you smoke your life away, burning the rest of what little brain cells you have left in that small mind of yours" she taunted, it was always her way of masking her true emotions. Emotions she didn't even want to feel, but deep down, she couldn't deny how hard it had became to keep it all bottled up. And as most people saw her as the hopeless romantic who slept around to much, her relationship intentions were pure. She knew it would take a lot of tugging, pulling, tripping and falling before Jeremy would ever see that, but it was nothing that she would let break her in half.

"Perhaps if I were Vicki, asking for drugs you wouldn't push me away so much" Her last set of words sounding like her typical bitchy self, but she hated rejection, it was her biggest weaknessImage

Jeremy raised an eyebrow at her words. She was there to see him? His eyebrows then furrowed in thought. "What could you possibly want with me?" He asked as he glanced to her, looking her in her eyes. It was times like this , Jeremy wished her parents were still alive. Then, and only then, would he be able to get his sister's sanity back.

Jeremy huffed lightly before shaking his head as she said it wasn't polite to turn ones back on a lady. "Good thing you're not a lady then " He added before throwing another blow at the bag. Brushing off her reasoning, assuming she were just messing with him.

"I smoke, so that I can replace the pain, with something good. " He answered, throwing another blow at the bag. "Why should it matter to you what I do with my body anyway?" He questioned glancing to her. Rebekah was, is, a interesting being. She never gives you a straight answer, but only keeps you guessing.

At her last set of words, Jeremy rolled his eyes. He then turned to face her fully before taking a step towards her. "If you were Vicky, we wouldn't be talking. " He replied, his voice low as his eyes narrowed down at her. It's true, if she were Vicky , they wouldn't be talking. They'd be high and intertwined together in bed.

Clenching his jaw, Jeremy turned back to the punching bag before continuing his earlier actions. "When I'm no longer entertaining, feel free to leave. "

Placing a hand on her hip, she shook her head, her long blonde hair being tossed around by the wind as she looked into his eyes, most days she would just compel her way through a conversation, finding the Gilbert's to be nothing but a headache until realizing she had feelings for Jeremy. "Don't act so surprised little Gilbert, I know you hate me, because of what my family has done to you and Elena, and your friends, but i'm not like them, iv'e had my share of messing with people's minds, and comitting acts of evil, but people can change" she expressed, rolling her blue-green optics.

"Rude" she said simply, crossing her arms before throwing her own punch to the leather worn out punching bag, causing it to split in half. "Since that was distracting you" she said, smiling carelessly. Rebekah sighed, but shrugged nonetheless "I'm not judging, but it's not going to erase your pain, it's only gonna help you for moments at a time, do you plan to smoke your life away?" she questioned, little Gilbert held enough pain for an army of people, and it saddened her, but in his eyes, Rebekah was only a Mikaelson and nothing more. "It matters more than i'm willing to admit, what you do to your stubborn self, you and Damon actually have a lot in common, when something goes wrong, you both block it out by causing harm, weather to yourselves or to others"

"Right because if I was Vicky I would be dead" she smirked, being able to read his thoughts about Jeremy and the slutty Vicky being high and in a sexual escapade, "it's a shame you still fantasize about your dead girlfriend" she stated, watching him hit at the torn in half punching bag. "That's the problem Jeremy, you're always entertaining, and i'm just a hopeless romantic, hoping that someday you'll stop seeing me as nothing but a Mikaelson!" she shouted and wiped the tears away from her eyes, as veins streaked down her cheeks and her eyes now a shade of pitch black.

"If you keep pushing everyone away, you'll end up all alone, just like Damon, just like Niklaus, and just like me" she finished off and turned for a moment to collect herself until her face turned back to normal.

Jeremy shook his head as she spoke, looking to her with a shrug of his shoulders. "You say you're not like your family, but you practically attack my sister and friends just as much as your brothers do. I don't see the difference. " He stated looking back at the now split punching bag. He sighed lightly before grabbing a bottle of water and drinking it.

As she tried to reason with him concerning the drugs, Jeremy shook his head and shrugged again. "One moment of peace is better than an eternity of hell. " He stated before taking another drink. Jeremy questioned why she continuously , for lack of a better word , stalked him. Was she planning something? The Mikaelson's always have a ulterior motive. "If what I'm doing is benefiting you, then why bother to care?" He questioned, looking to her.

Jeremy narrowed his eyes as she spoke of Vicky, it was hard not to think of Vicky in that way, since he has been seeing her lately, but it wasn't Rebekah's business as to what he dreamed of. Jeremy went to speak, but was cut off as she continued. 'Nothing but a Mikaelson'? He mentally questioned. One eyebrow rose as he came to a conclusion. But was it true?

Jeremy took a step back, as her eyes changed to pitch black, he had stakes hidden on his body and throughout the house. If she decided to do something brash, he could handle her. "Sometimes being alone is the best option. It's not easy constantly running for your life, or trying to save the ones around you when they're in danger. " He said, turning his frustration back to the punching bag, it falling due to the rusty chain breaking.
