Speaking of currency, can I just say I love New Zealand's currency. Every note has a native bird on it and plants and I don't know why, but that makes me happy. It's tricking me into trusting the government though because I'm just like, "Nobody who puts cute little birds on the bank notes could possibly be a bad person." even though I know that's not true. The birds are lulling me into a false sense of security.

Ugh, I have my second interview with Wendy's tomorrow and I can't sleep. I guess I'll just stay up until tomorrow night :/

I feel like the UK should get on this and put birds and stuff on it but I feel like it'd only be seagulls and nobody wants to see that. That's so cool though! Are the NZ government not pretty decent anyway (or as decent as governments go)? One of the girls from our exchange had a lot of good things to say about the NZ government, so I assumed they were halfway okay.

Also, how is it over there? I am so jealous, just so you know. I wanna go there so bad.

Anyone here? (Is this still the protocol? I haven't been to one of these since 2010/2011 <- haven't used one of these babies for ages I feel so old.)

I finally finished that book I've been reading for the last two-three months. I started back in, I dunno, November, but I finished it in three days when I put my mind into it. Hopefully, I'll manage to finish the new one in less than three. D:

I'm doing quite well! I decided to use one of my bath bombs that I got on Boxing Day but the hot water ran out halfway through so that was pretty tragic How are you?

That sucks. But bath bombs are better suited to warm baths rather than hot ones, no? Aaah, you're making me crave a bath right now D: I usually hoard my bath bombs (especially if they're limited editions or just plain cute like my cupcake bath bombs ) and only use them when I'm cranky/feeling good. But it's winter and I'm not on friendly terms with the cold so they have to wait and remained hoarded.

And I'm fine. :D Just milling around and wasting away the rest of this evening doing nothing :D

Yeah but I still like hot baths I always use them after I've had a long or really good week I currently have 7 just waiting to be used. I forgot that Lush adds sparkles to their bath bombs a lot though so now I look like I should be cast in a remake of Twilight

I have a lot, more than I can count (but tbh, I have around 10-15 ), mostly from Etsy and Lush. I keep trying to use the Lush ones since they're the oldest, but my hoarding instincts get the best of me They do, don't they? But, honestly, I think it's refreshing how they celebrate glitter like that. It's cute.

Sunday is a work day here and it's gonna be terrible as ever :D

Ohh fair enough. I love slow drying acrylics. Sometimes. I like gouache's ability to be re-wet so I can mix stuff up on my surface.

Nah, we got pigeons too. Think of it. Fat pigeons eating chips off the street on the back of our currency. Welcome to Britain! *I need a saluting smiley* Ah, the government’s the government. There’s always things that should be changed for the better. Plus, I’m Northern so you’ve got to know that I was born with innate distrust for the people who run the country no matter what country that may be.

It’s nice. Weather’s been lovely. I have to bathe in sunscreen before going outside though for any prolonged period of time or I’ll burn. Who knew that the constant grey skies in Britain were a defence against the sun for us pale people. I basically do jack shit all day though in between going to interviews hoping to get work until I officially start my doctorate. I wander around the city and get asked by everyone I speak to why I would ever want to move to New Zealand from the UK and I’m confused on why people outside of the UK think the UK is a nice place to live. Like…have you been?

Does anyone find it difficult to change tenses for a story when they've been writing in one tense for a period of time? I used to solely write past tense but then I ventured into present and now that I'm writing past, I honestly feel like my writing's gone downhill. I don't know. I may change the story to past tense but I'm not sure if I can be bothered or not, honestly
