Unstoppable

Dezzi woke up when she felt her phone vibrating loudly from beside her. She groaned and grabbed it. "Hello?" She mumbled, not checking to see who it was.

"Dezzi?" A voice she never thought she'd hear again spoke.

Dezzi sat upright, "Ricky?"

"Hey, did I wake you?" He chuckled.

"Yeah.." Dezzi said and looked at her clock. It was 6:30 in the morning.

"Well you and Kylie still live in the same neighborhood right?"

"Yeah...why?" Dezzi asked.

"We just got back and we thought we'd stop by and see you guys later." Ricky said.

"Oh, okay. I'm going back to sleep now." She said.

Ricky laughed. "Sorry. I'll text you later."

She hummed in response before hanging up and burying her head under the pillow.

"Do you think we should call the girls?" Tony asked.

Vic shrugged. "I guess. It might lessen the shock."

"Well you call Kylie." Tony said.

Vic rolled his eyes. "You call her."

Tony sighed and grabbed his phone. He dialed Kylie's number and waited for her to answer.

Kylie wad not exactly happy when her phone began to ring. She was finally allowed to sleep in for once and some asshole was ruining it with their need to call her at the ungodly hour of six.

She answered the phone, "hello?"
You could tell that she wasn't exactly happy about recovering a call so early.

"hey!" She heard a voice she never thought she would hear again say, "I'm sorry if I woke you up."
"Tony?" She questioned, sitting up in her bed.
She heard an 'Mhm' in response and as she was about to reply he started talking again, "Are you and Dezzi still living at the same address?"

"Uh, yeah. Why?" She questioned.
"We just wanted to see you, is that okay?" She heard him ask hesitantly.
Kylie sighed, "Yeah, yeah."

"Alright cool!" Tony exclaimed, "We'll see you tonight."
With that, the phone call was over and Kylie set her phone to side so she could sleep again.

"Is it done?" Chris asked Ricky, who nodded in reponse to the question.
At that, Chris grinned wildly.

"Tonight will certainly be interesting for out two old friends." Ryan laughed.

Chris smirked, "Indeed it will."

Ryan and Chris grinned at each other before they headed off to start another plan.

Devin looked at Ricky. "Am I the only one who is uncomfortable with this?"

Ricky shook his head, "no, I am too...but like Chris said if we don't get to the girls before Vic and them do we'll probably never see them again."

Devin sighed. He knew Ricky was right. He missed Kylie and Dezzi but he wasn't sure how they would react to them being vampires.

Dezzi woke up a few hours later. She vaguely remembers speaking with Ricky but she knows he called.

Ahw got out of bed and went to shower before going downstairs to make some coffee. About an hour later her best friend Kylie came downstairs.

"Morning Ky." Dezzi said and handed her a cup of coffee.

"Morning you'll never guess what happened this morning." She said.

"Let me try. You got a call from one of the guys around 6:30 this morning." Dezzi said.

Kylie nodded. "Tony."

Dezzi hummed. "Ricky called me."

"I wonder what they want." Kylie said.

Dezzi shrugged. "Who knows...I'm sure it's going to turn into a fight since they all hate each other."

Neither Dezzi nor Kylie knew what happened to their circle of friends. In their last year of high school the guys broke into groups and began fighting over Dez and Kylie. The girls were tired of it and then one day they were gone. Now they're back and Dezzi didn't know if she was happy or mad.

"Are you sure this is gonna work?" Mike asked, not quite sure that the plan would work.
"It'll be fine," Jaime said, "As long as we get there before Chris and his group of assholes."

Mike shrugged but still didn't it think it was right this way.

Kylie sighed, "this is all too weird."
She wasn't sure what happened after high school but all of her friends, other than Dezzi of course, had stopped contacting her.

It made her wonder what made them think to finally call her after all this time? What changed their minds?

Devin and Ricky were quiet the entire ride back to their hometown. Chris and Ryan were so sure of themselves and sure that this plan was going to work. Ricky was starting to believe Devin was right though. though

He looked up from his book as Chris stopped driving. "Why did we stop?"

Dezzi sighed. "If all of them show up here...I hope they don't start fighting over us." She said, going into the living room.

She heard a car stop outside and went to the window. "Well someone's here." She said, looking back at Kylie.

Mike looked around the girls house and noticed they arrived before Motionless could.
He looked around at all of the guys and instantly all of them got out of the car, heading to the door.

Chris frowned heavily, "We didn't make it on time."

Ryan also frowned, "Why can't we still try?"
Chris shrugs, "We can try, but who knows what those assholes are saying about us."

Kylie nodded in agreement. "Let's hope."

Kylie could up and looked out the window curiously. She wondered who had got here first. She left the curtain fall and went to open the door.

Ricky and Devin shrugged but got up and followed Ryan and Chris.

Dezzi watched at Kylie opened the door and was greeted by Tony, who gave her a long hug. "Hey Kylie." Vic said before going over to hug Dezzi.

"We weren't expecting you guys so early." Dezzi said as she hugged Vic and then Tony.

Ricky and Devin shrugged but got up and followed Ryan and Chris.

Dezzi watched at Kylie opened the door and was greeted by Tony, who gave her a long hug. "Hey Kylie." Vic said before going over to hug Dezzi.

"We weren't expecting you guys so early." Dezzi said as she hugged Vic and then Tony.

Ryan was sure that this wasn't going to end well.
The last time that had a run in with Pierce the Veil, they ended up killing Balz.
It took a long time for the group to get over that.

Chris was determined to make sure what happened to Josh, didn't happen to either of the girls. He wanted to keep them out of harms way.

It would be hard to explain what had happened to Balz, but he knew the girls needed to know if they we're going to trust them over Pierce.

"Hey guys," Kylie smiled, hugging each of them individually.

"Yeah, we just couldn't wait any longer," Jaime explains.

"Well," Kylie sighs, "It's nice to have you here after so long with no contact."

She was still a little pissed, and it was more than a little obvious to everyone.

Mike nervously frowned, "We know...It was wrong of us to be gone for so long."

Kylie didn't say anything else.

"Hey, we're used to it." Dezzi said as she went to open the door when she noticed Chris and the guys pull up.

Vic frowned, "it's not like we did it on purpose."

Chris and them walked in. "Hey guys." Dezzi said, hugging each of them.

"Hey Dez. Still beautiful as ever." Devin smiled.

Dezzi rolled her eyes, "oh please, Devin. Use your charm on Kylie." She said but chuckled softly.

She could hear low growls coming from Vic and them. Dezzi sighed. "Hear it goes.." She mumbled.

Kylie shrugged at what Vic said, "Whatever."

It was then that Chris and the rest of guys came into the house. The tension immediately spiked.

Ryan walked to both of the girls and hugged them, as well as Chris.

Mike glared at Chris and his group, feeling extremely pissed off, especially when Ryan hugged Dezzi longer than he should have.

Kylie glanced between the two. "Seriously you guys? This again?"
She was tired of them fighting. The last time she had ever seen them, there had been a huge fight. She remembers Devin rushing her and Dezzi into the car, telling her that they could catch up later. It never happened.

"Where's Josh?" Dezzi asked, not seeing Balz walk in with them.

Chris and then looked at each other before looking at Vic. "Why don't you ask them." Ricky said.

Dezzi looked at Vic, raising an eyebrow. Vic shrugged, "don't ask me." He said.

"I don't care who tells me I just want to know why Balz isn't here." Dezzi said, getting frustrated.

Kylie looked between the two groups of men, "Is someone gonna say where the hell he is?"

Mike looked away from them and stared out of the window.

Ryan and Chris remained silent.

"He's dead." Jaime said, breaking the silence in the room.

"What do you mean he's dead?" Dezzi asked.

"Vic and his friends killed him." Devin said.

"You didn't.." Dezzi said, looking at Vic and his small group.

"We did...it was an accident though.." Vic sighed.

"Bullshit." Ricky growled.

"It was an accident." Mike says, "It wasn't intentional."

"That's such bullshit!" Chris growls. "I saw Vic take that knife out on him! Balz didn't see it coming."

"You know he had a knife on him too!" Jaime defends, "You guys always have knives on you!"

"That doesn't mean he was gonna use it!" Ryan hissed. "Your guy pulled it first!"

Kylie's jaw dropped open as she heard them arguing. She couldn't believe this wasn't happening.

Dezzi looked between the two groups arguing before yelling at them. "SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU!"

They all fell silent and looked at her, mostly in shock that she yelled at them. "I don't care who pulled a knife on who first...you guys killed Josh and that's not cool." She said.

"Dez.." Tony said.

"Shut it, Tony!" She said, feeling tears prick her eyes.

"What happened to you guys? Kylie and I miss our old friends...you guys haven't been the same since high school...do you even remember the last time you were in a room together without wanting to tear each other's heads off?" She asked, finally letting tears fall.

No one said anything. Dezzi looked between them again, "whoever can't be civil and get along, needs to leave."

"Dezzi.." Devin said.

"I'm serious, Devin. I'm tired of you guys fighting over EVERYTHING." She said, feeling Kylie rub her back.

"So, anyone who can't sit and socialize like the grown men that you are, needs to get the fuck out. NOW." She said.

Kylie wasn't sure what she was supposed to feel right now. This was the first time she had seen her 'friends' since high school and she learned that one of them had killed another.

She didn't know what to say to them, she couldn't even look at them.
How could they be so selfish?

Chris and Ryan visibly relaxed, but not to a point where they couldn't attack the other guys if they wanted to.

Jaime frowned, but calmed down.

Mike did the same.

Ricky and Devin sighed but settled down.

So did Vic and Tony.

Dezzi looked at them. "As a matter of fact," she walked over to the closet and got out a box, placing it on the table. "If you guys are carrying knives, put them in the box."

"Dez." Vic said.

"Don't question me, Victor. I don't trust any of you right now." Dezzi said.

Ricky and Devin pulled their knives out, tossing them in the box. Vic and Tony did the same. Dezzi looked between the other four, "well?"

Kylie didn't say anything as she watched the boys empty their pockets of knives. It threw her off that they all carried such dangerous weapons.

Chris and Ryan dropped their knives in the basket, a little pissed that they would have no protection.

Jaime dropped his knives carefully.

Mike was a little hesitantly to drop his knives, but he did. He wanted Dezzi to trust him.
