Sutton pulled into the school parking lot in her blank mercedes. She got out and grabbed her bag from the backseat. She couldn't wait to get the day going. She had always loved high school because she was loved by everyone. Well everyone in her group of friends anyway. Sutton walked through the parking lot then smiled when she saw Brandon and a few of their friends hanging out by Taven's car. "Hey." She said as she walked over to them. She hugged Brandon then smiled as the looked at everyone. Sutton had been dating Brandon for awhile now and things had been a little rough the last month, but they made it work anyway. She looked around then looked at Brandon, "You wanna go inside now?" she asked as she laced her fingers with his. She didn't want to be late for class, not that the teachers cared about them.

Taven leaned against his Jeep Wrangler as he listened to his friends. He watched as Sutton walked towards them, "Welp Brandon your boss is coming." He teased. He laughed as he watched his friends face. Of course he was only messing with him. Taven grabbed his gym bag from his jeep then walked towards the school. He walked into his first class and frowned when he saw some boy in the seat he usually sat in. "You're in my seat." He said, frowning down at the kid. "move before i move you myself." He said. He watched as the boy frantically grabbed his things then sat down in his seat. Taven sighed as he looked out the window, waiting for everyone to get there.

Sutton walked into the class room then sat behind Brandon. She knew that he would want to sit near Taven. How else would the two of them cause mischief. She pulled her compact mirror out of her purse and fixed her make-up as she listened to her friend talking about the practice they had the night before. Sutton watched as her friend moved her backpack into the aisle when Annie walked to her seat. She watched as the girl tripped then laughed with the rest of her group of friends. Sutton looked at the girl then looked back at her mirror.
"Watch where you are going Annie!" Lennox told her, laughing.

Annie huffed, contemplating laying on the floor for the rest of her life before she pulled herself up and walked back to her seat. Why had the teacher placed her in the back behind all the cheerleader bitches? Did she want to torture her? She sat down and leaned back in her seat, doodling in her notebook as the teacher droned on. It was only when she mentioned a big project did Annie perk up and start listening. The teacher started talking about some big college project that they had to do and present before the fourth quarter. If your project was good enough, you could possibly get a scholarship and college credit. It was then, that she got the most brilliant idea ever. She glanced over at one of the cheerleaders, the redhead to be exact, and listening in as she told Lennox about cheer tryouts that afternoon. Annie sat up in her seat, biting her lip gently as she thought. Maybe she could finally put her gymnastic training to good use.

Brandon sat back in his seat, looking over at Taven and then at the boy that he'd threatened only twenty minutes ago. That used to be him. He didn't know what had happened to space and time, but somehow, Taven had taken him in under his wing and helped him become the jock that he was today. And he would never be able to fully repay him for that. His life had become a hundred times more amazing than it had been, not that it had been anything special before. But he knew there had been a huge change in things when Sutton Emerson had started paying attention to him. She had been like his biggest crush since they were like ten in fifth grade. She was his dream girl, and now that he had her, things couldn't get any better.

Sutton looked at her nails as the teacher talked about a lame project. She didn't care about it because she already had a school lined up that she was gonna go to. Sutton heard the bell ring and stood up, walking out with her friends. She sighed as she walked towards her locker with Lennox. Sutton put her things in her locker then shut it, leaning against it as she listened to Lennox and her other friend talk about the tryouts they were having. Sutton really just wanted to get it over with. It sucked that one of their best girls moved away and they had to find a replacement.

Taven smirked as the girl got up and went to her seat. He sighed as he looked down at his book as the teacher talked. Taven laid his head down, falling asleep for the rest of the class. He woke up when he heard the bell go off. He got his stuff, then stood up. He almost ran into Annie, but managed to avoid her. He walked by her and walked down the hallway with Brandon. "Second class and i'm already bored as fuck." He said. Taven just wanted to play basketball. It made life easy for him.

Annie watched Taven walk past her before she quickly went to meet up with her friends before second period. She quickly briefed them on her idea and grinned as they all agreed. She nodded her head and told them she'd meet up with them this weekend to discuss more before she headed to her next class. The day went by pretty slow, but when it was time for her to head to cheerleading tryouts, things got a bit more interesting. She walked into the gym and went into the locker room to change into some shorts and a tank top, taking a deep breath as she looked at herself in the mirror. She pulled her glasses off and squinted, sighing heavily. She really needed to look into getting contacts. These things were such a hassle.

Brandon walked into the gym after school, changing into his gym clothes for practice with the guys. He walked onto the basketball court, looking at all the girls who were there for tryouts and smirking. There were some pretty damn hot girls trying out this year. He noticed the look that Sutton was giving him and he walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her in for a kiss. "Don't worry," he said as he pulled away. "I only have eyes for you." He smiled and kissed her forehead before he went off to practice with the guys.

Taven pulled his practice jersey on as he walked into the gym. He grabbed on of the basketball and bounced the ball. Taven looked around and raised an eyebrow when he saw Annie walk into the gym. HE couldn't believe that she was really trying out for cheerleading. Taven looked over as Brandon walked over to him, "Some one is in trouble." He joked as he bounced the ball. He laughed softly at Brandon's face. Taven looked over as the rest of the team came in and started to practice with them.

Sutton stood in the gym talking to her friends then crossed her arms when she saw Brandon look at the girl. She narrowed her eyes at him as he walked towards her. She kissed him then looked up at him, "You better." She said as he pulled away. She smacked his ass when he went to walked away then smiled. She went back to her friends and spoke with them. Sutton frowned when she saw Annie walk into the gym. It was weird that she was trying out for the team. Emily glared at Annie, "You seem to be lost loser." She said as she crossed her arms. Sutton looked at Emily and shook her head.

Annie raised an eyebrow at Emily and tilted her head to the side, looking around the gymnasium. She looked back at her and shook her head. "This is the gym, right?" she questioned. "And this is where you're holding tryouts, I thought." She shoved past the girl and walked over to the bleachers, sitting next to one of the other girls and putting her bag down by her feet. She put her hair up into a ponytail and watched as the cheerleaders started setting everything up. She really hoped she got this spot. She needed this.

Brandon dribbled the ball down the court, sliding past a guy and jumping up, dunking the ball into the hoop. He grinned and clapped his hands as he looked at Taven. He glanced over at the girls, his brows furrowing when he saw Annie sitting in the bleachers. He jogged over to Taven and tapped his shoulder, leaning up to his ear. "Twenty bucks says she'll fall flat on her ass," he said, chuckling to himself.

Sutton looked at Annie then walked over and sat down next to her. "Do you think you will do okay?" She asked. She really didn't hate Annie but he felt like she had to be mean to her. Sutton bit bottom lip lightly, "I think you'll do okay." She said. She looked over and saw Brandom laughing with Taven and knew he was being mean. Though she wasn't concerned about it.

Annie looked over at the girl that sat next to her, raising an eyebrow. She wanted to avoid her, to ignore her and just get this over with, but she knew that wouldn't look good. So she forced a smile on her face and nodded her head. "I think so," she said. "I was in gymnastics when I was younger." She cleared her throat and scratched her neck. "Thanks, for not being a total bitch to me. Your friends aren't my greatest fans, as you can tell." She looked over at the other cheerleaders, who were giving her dirty looks for even being near Sutton.

Brandon raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "Uh, we're okay, I guess," he said. "She gets jealous too much, man. I told her she's the only girl I'm interested in. I can still look, but that doesn't mean I'm going to touch." He shook his head. "She's the girl of my dreams, why would I give that up for anyone else?" He looked over at Sutton and smiled. "She's beautiful."

She got up going back to her friends and then watched as the tryouts started. She had a feeling that Annie would get it because they needed someone who was good at stunts. Taven laughed, "Dude she has always been like that. remember that time in elementary when she pushed Emily off the monkey bars for even talking to Jake." He said, chuckling. He shook his head, "She might beat you man." He teased. Taven watched Annie when she flipped across the floor and caught the ball he was bouncing. Everyone in the gym was complete stunned. "Damn!" He yelled, whistling at her, making everyone laugh.

Annie rolled her eyes at Taven, dribbling the ball and turning to the basket, throwing it and smirking as she watched it swoop in the net. She jogged over and caught the ball, sauntering back over to Taven and shoving the ball into his arms. She made her way back over to where tryouts were, standing next to one of the other girls that was trying out. Lennox and the rest of the cheerleaders began to show them a little routine to do and she watched every step carefully, catching on quickly. She was a fast learner.

Brandon snorted as he watched the nerd girl, the look on Taven's face absolutely hilarious. He patted his friends shoulder, taking the ball from him and tossing it to one of their teammates. He always felt the need to impress Sutton and the other cheerleaders, like one day he would suddenly become not so popular anymore if he didn't keep up his image. It was a terrifying thought.

Taven smirked as he caught the ball she threw at him. He looked at Brandon as he took the ball then continued to practice with the team. Taven walked out of the gym after practice was over and went to his gym. He sighed as he put his things in the back of his jeep. Taven got into his jeep then looked over at Brandon who was waiting for Sutton, "See ya later man." He said, before pulling away.

Sutton sighed once the practice was over. She made her way to her car and smiled when she saw Brandon. "Hey." She said as she hugged him. She kissed him softly then put her things in her car. "What did you want to do tonight?" She asked him as she walked over to him and took his hands. She figured she would let him decide since she picked the last time they hung out.

Annie walked out of the school, feeling pretty confident about getting that spot on the cheer squad, but she wouldn't know until Monday. She sighed softly and ran her fingers through her hair, looking around and seeing that her friends were already gone, so she would need a ride. She glanced over and saw Sutton and Brandon standing by a car. She bit her lip gently, quickly thinking it was a bad idea, but what was she supposed to do? Have her father leave work early to pick her up? No way. She walked over to them and smiled politely. "Hi, Sutton. I was wondering if I could have a ride home?" she questioned.

Brandon smiled at Sutton, letting go of her hands and sliding his arms around her waist. He pulled her into his body, leaning down and pressing his lips to hers. "Well, I was thinking we could grab a pizza, and watch some movies, maybe fool around a bit, you know?" he suggested, smirking as he kissed her lips a few more times. He pulled away when he heard Annie's voice, turning and looking at her, his brows furrowed. He looked back down at Sutton, wondering if she was really going to give this nerd girl a ride home.

Sutton laughed softly at what he said and nodded. "Sure sounds like fun." She said as she kissed him again. She closed her eyes as she kissed him deeply, then looked over when he did.
