Rules:

Hi, I'm looking for someone to edit a story, possibly a story beta but I'm not sure at the moment:)

La Douleur Exquise is my story, it's a story of four victorian girls set in 1880 inspired by the music of Emilie Autumn and some old friends.

The chapter will be Chapter one.

I'm looking for just an overview at the moment, make sure it sounds right and I've made no horrific mistakes. I hope you can give my story a look over:) Thank you!

Emergency (Chapter One)

I would love it if you would go ahead and do a full critique of the story (mostly grammar and making sure the story actually makes sense to someone other than myself). It's a very rough piece that has not been edited since written so do not hesitate to be brutally honest.

edit: A simple overview of the story - anything you see that you deem a major/minor flaw in grammar/writing style or any holes in the plot. Thank you! I had it edited, changed the title and a few minor things about the story since I first posted
