So I have been out of making graphics for a while now but I updated to a more recent version of Photoshop, getting away from elements and made this... I am quite proud

I'm attempting to make this freakity fracking banner as a surprise for a Mibbian, but I can't get it right just yet.



It's just being murky.

I don't even want to admit how much time I spent on this the other night and then to have to confess that there's no actual story to go with it yet, I was just bored. (Subtitle is aligned to the left underneath the image actually.) But hey, proud of it anyway.

Getting the picture separated from the summary box is hard AF and takes so much time.

TRYING, PROMISE.

It does take a lot of time, but not when you figure out how to do it. The thing that took me so long was aligning the title properly. And if I don't use the title "Kübler-Ross Model", I'll have to realign it again oops. The picture is actually in the content box rather than the title because every time I'd move the text, something else would move. It was definitely a balancing act.

Do they or was that sarcasm? If you ever offered to make them I'd be like "oi hey over here pick me pick me i love you" haha Be "fullofit" over your work! You're so talented

Once I figured out how to do it I saved the crap out of that template. I'm not even sure where my picture is in mine. Everything is all over the place. I think my picture is in the content box and the border is in the text box. Don't get me even started on the padding. It's in the negative.

They actually do. Even when I'm not doing layouts, I still get the occasional person messaging me asking for a layout. But hey, it's your lucky day (month?)! Because along with color palettes, I'll be doing layouts in my giveaway later this month.

Whenever I make a layout like that, I try to keep it minimalistic so I didn't have to worry about the border background when I moved the picture into the content box. OOOH padding and margin. My title's margin is up SUPER high, my subtitle's left is super high and then the top margin is way in the negatives, and the text box is to the left (surprisingly) with super high numbers and then the top margin is in the negatives. IT WAS A FUN GAME, REALLY.

I. Love. Double. Exposure. Those look gorgeous, especially the one on the right.
