My favorite part is when you add something and the whole layout is jacked up and you can't find what went wrong where because everything is in the opposite places.

Oh me like. The layout makes me want to go read your old story now.





The layout I somehow managed to spend the better part of last night and some of today perfecting.

Story of my life. It doesn't help that you have to click the checkbox in any section that had Left or Right margin every time you open the editor. I want to throw myself off a roof whenever I have to edit a layout like that.

I forgot all about that mess. That happens to me all the time when I update the layout and I'm like WHAT WENT WRONG. WHAT HAVE I DONE!? Then I remember I didn't click the checkbox.

I am so in love with that layout omfg. That is amazing. I love those illusions with graphics. Is the image background the same color as the page background? Is that how you managed to do that without having curve in the content box? God it's gorgeous, I love it.

The page background, image background and content box color are all one image (posted into Page>background image).
I started with this image for the background. Then I went into Photoshop and added the "content" box color behind the image and hat's how I got the curve effect. click
All the other boxes' (content, title, text, ect.) colors are empty and set to 100% transparency so the "content" box color of the page background image could be seen.

Gosh, does that make sense? If it doesn't or you want a more detailed explanation with pictures for a future layout like that, let me know and I'll be happy to show you.

That is super gorgeous, I love the colors. Can I recommend something, though? Feel free to ignore me, of course, because it's personal preference but I'd put an indent or just a little space in the first line so it's not so close to the astronaut?

These are my two most recent graphics and I love them haha

I had to buy Photoshop for school, so I decided "why not?" and made my very first story banner!
- I've only ever made 1-2 banner(s) in Gimp, so I'm actually quite proud of how this turned out.
^ Btw. the copyright won't be there on the one I'm gonna use for my story, plus there will be a story title on it as well (as soon as I come up with a name for the story)

That's amazing for your first time making a story banner with Photoshop!

May I suggest something? When you become more familiar with Photoshop, I would work on experimenting with coloring. It can really transform a banner and just put it over the top.
