Flying Away

  • Jongin smiled, "It's okay, maybe one day you'll want to try it, but until then I'll make chicken or beef,"
She continued to read the book in a gentle voice not wanting to disturb them as they settled down.

  • She smiled a little. "One day, but I appreciate you offering to make me something else. That's nice of you."
He tucked in both of them and then sat on the floor between their beds in case he needed to move so he wouldn't wake them once they fell asleep.

  • When she saw they were asleep she closed the book and placed it on the bookshelf before nodding to the door. "Come on," she smiled a little as she walked down the stairs.

  • He stood quietly and closed the door behind him, turning to her. "Come on, I'll show you my room. I'll...sleep on the couch."
Jazmin lead him to the kitchen and shrugged. "Alright, go ahead. Do your worst," She murmured, looking around. "I didn't expect you to be able to cook. It's a nice surprise."

  • Marissa sighed a little,"Alright if you insist," she murmured softly as she motioned for him to the lead the way.
He smiled a little,"Alright, you wont regret this," he told her.

  • He lowered his voice and moved closer to her. "If you want me to live, I think it might be better I sleep on the couch. Though I don't want to, they... would kill me." He chuckled. "And I want to live."
She sat down at the table and watched him, looking around. "So who taught you to cook?"

  • She smiled a little, "I do want you alive, you're useless to me dead," she told him as she kissed him softly.
"My sisters," he said to her smiling a little, "They're all graduated now but I'm the youngest,"
    September 26th, 2016 at 10:19pm
  • She nodded a little, watching him pull out ingredients. "All sisters...how old are they?" She asked curiously, getting some water to drink. "Are you close to them?"
He kissed her back and sighed, pulling her with him. "Come on, I'll show you to my room." He said, walking up the stairs to his room and opening the door. "Well this is it."

  • "One is twenty six the other is twenty two," he said to her smiling a little, "You might have seen the younger one during first and second year," he said to her smiling a little.
Marissa followed him to his room, "Well it's cleaner than I imagined," she smiled a bit.

  • He playfully bumped her, looking around. "If I leave it a mess, my aunt threatens to detach it from the house." He laughed. "But this is it, this is home."
She nodded a little. "Do they know about me? What about your parents? What do they do?"

  • She smiled a little, "It's nice.. I like it," she said as she looked at him then sighed, "Thank you...for inviting me out," she told him softly as she leaned into him as she took in her surroundings.
"They do know about you and they work for the ministry," he said to her smiling a little, "I've written to them about you - they're not home often because of work,"
    October 3rd, 2016 at 02:33am
  • She nodded a little. "Your entire family went into the ministry? Not surprising you don't care much for it."
He smiled a little. "O'm very happy you came. It means so much t o me to have you here with me."

  • He nodded a little, "It's boring, lots of law talk that really doesn't interest me, much rather do something interesting and fun," he explained to her honestly as he thought about it. Quidditch was the only thing that had kept him grounded for as long as he was, he had a name for himself there and going beyond that scared him a lot.
Marissa smiled kissing his cheek, "I suppose I should get ready for bed, it's getting late," she told him softly as she looked up at him.
    October 4th, 2016 at 05:29pm
  • She nodded a little and smiled at him. "I think Quidditch is what you're meant to do anyway." She murmured, looking over his shoulder into the pot.
He smiled a little and kissed her forehead. "You're welcome to any of my clothes," He murmured, holding her in his arms.

  • Jazmin had finally thought her doubts were over, until they returned to campus. How word got out that Jongin had spent the break at her house, she'd never know. But the hate she got was astounding, and she was reaching a breaking point. It wasn't until halfway through her second class, one of gryffindor girls, who happened to be Jongins ex girlfriend threatened her, and she knew she couldn't take it. When she saw Jongin later that day, she had resolved herself to just letting it go. She knew he wouldn't like it, but maybe this would fix it.

"Jongin?" She asked, when he had come to see her after one of his classes. "I have something I need to say, but I don't want you to say anything until I'm done." She explained, before taking a deep breath. "I want to be in your life, I really do. But maybe I'm meant to be in your life as a friend, instead of as a girlfriend. I know you hate when I talk like this, but I mean it. I think we should break up." She said softly, not meeting his eyes to see his face. "I want to be there for you, and I will be there whenever you need me to be, I just... don't know if I can be with you like this."
Minseok smiled as he walked through the halls, looking for Marissa. He had just finished potions with the Slytherins, and professor snape had asked them to pair up. So he was on his way to meet his partner, but he wanted to stop and find Marissa first. "Hey, there you are. What are you up to?" He asked as he pulled her into a hug.
