Charlie's smile dropped and she removed her hand from his arm, "Niklaus Mikaelson, you forget I know you better than almost anyone except for your family themselves. Now I know you wouldn't be stupid enough to lie to me." She warned, "Now tell me the truth. Where are Elijah and Rebeckah?" She asked again, only more stern.

"Amelia I knew you before you were a vampire. You are too good to be a monster. I was just too stupid to realize it before I was turned." He said and then rolled his eyes at her next words, "You don't know what I've done, Amelia. I'm not a good person. I'm not a good vampire. I'm a monster and I'm turning into Klaus." He said.

Maybe part of Klaus had hoped that she wouldn’t still have the skill of being able to tell when he was lying to her. After a few moments, he let out a quiet sigh. “Well, Elijah is running around doing whatever he wants,” he drawled – though, of course, Elijah would probably end up in his coffin soon enough, he was sure. “As for Rebekah? She’s back in her favorite little coffin.”

“You don’t know what I’ve done, either, Damon,” Amelia reminded quickly before she shifted to lift her hands, cupping his cheeks despite herself. “And as much as I want to hate you because you’re a big idiot, I know that you are nothing like him. You can do terrible things ten times over and you’ll never be like him. You’re Damon, don’t forget that.”

Charlie felt herself perk up when he said that Elijah was alive but her heart dropped at his next words, "Oh my God! Niklaus how could you?! She's your sister!" She felt her eyes start to water. She knew how stubborn he was and she knew she couldn't just ask him to let her out and bring her back. She blinked and let some of her tears slide down her cheeks.

Damon was taken back when she cupped his face in her hands, "Why not? I started it when I picked Katherine over you. That's when it started." He said and looked down at her, "How do you know I'm not like him, Amelia?" Damon said. He took a breath and pulled away from her, as much as he didn't want to.

Klaus frowned slightly to her words and turned his eyes to her, an eyebrow arching in surprise. “It’s not the first time I’ve daggered her, love,” he reminded, though he tried to ignore the tears that streamed down her cheeks. They bothered him, especially when he knew he was at fault despite that he didn’t want to admit it. “She wanted to leave and stay behind with somebody else. I couldn’t allow that.”

“Oh, please. Picking one girl over another doesn’t make somebody evil, Damon,” Amelia drawled as she rolled her eyes and let her hands drop to her side. “And I know you’re not like him because, if you were, you wouldn’t be trying to warn me away. You’d be encouraging me to get close and get corrupted.”

Charlie narrowed her eyes at Klaus, "So you daggered her? Because she wanted a life?" She asked in a frustrated tone before wiping away her tears, "If decided to stay with Amelia here in Mystic Falls after you've finished your "business" would you stake me? Seeing as you can't dagger me because I'm not an original. Klaus she's your little sister not a play doll. You can't just keep daggering her and undaggering her at will when you've decided she's spent enough time in time out." Charlie lectured. She knew how Klaus was better than anyone besides Elijah and Rebeckah.

Damon shrugged, "Yeah but picking Katherine over you is what turned me into a vampire and then it all went downhill from there." He explained before he stopped in his tracks and looked at her, "But notice how I'm not doing anything about your friend. I'm letting her get corrupted by Klaus. Which could be bad for you." He said.

"We made a vow, Charlie. Rebekah, Elijah and myself, we all vowed that family was forever, that we'd always remain with each other," Klaus reminded with a stern tone, a frown tugging at his lips. "But, no, I would not stake you. If the dagger would kill her, I wouldn't do it. It's merely a temporary punishment."

Sighing, Amelia rubbed at her forehead. "But I would still be a vampire, either way. As angry as I am with you, I'm still relieved to know that you're still around and I'm not alone," she pointed out before shaking her head. "If anything, Charlie will put Klaus in his place. I don't think anybody would be capable of corrupting her."

"You're insane, Klaus." She said calmly before she took a sip of her drink and then looked at him, "But I'm not family I can't tell you what to do. Although nobody tells the Klaus Mikaelson what to do." She teased with a smile, showing him she wasn't upset anymore. Though Charlie was still upset he had Rebeckah daggered because she wanted a life she was letting Klaus be Klaus and soon he would miss her and undagger her, "I do hope that I see Elijah though. I mean if he comes to Mystic Falls or if I go somewhere. I would just like to see him again now that I know he's alive and not in a coffin." She said and gave him a pointed look.

Damon smirked at her words, "You seem to have corrupted her into coming here." He said and raised an eyebrow at her, "Do you corrupt her into other things too? Like maybe sexy vampire pillow fights?" He teased and grinned at her before winking. It was good to see that he could still joke with her a little bit and everything hadn't gone to complete crap between the two.

"He is somewhere in Mystic Falls," Klaus said as he waved his hand a little dismissively. "I'm certain he's being sneaky and plotting away with Salvatore and his friends." He almost rolled his eyes, then, but only barely managed to stop himself from doing so. "So, I can't guarantee that he won't be daggered at some point soon."

"Ooh, sexy vampire pillow fights?" Amelia hummed out before she grinned up at him. "Now, that, Damon, is a secret that you won't figure out the answer to any time soon. Don't worry, though, I'm not very capable of corrupting people all that much unless I use compulsion - which I can't on her, since she's like us."

"He's here? That's great!" She said before she heard his next words, "Klaus why do you always believe that someone is plotting against you? Do you really always see the worst in everyone?" She asked him with a frown. She chose to ignore his last words out of respect for the fact that she would lose it on him if she said something. Elijah was her closest friend back when she lived in New Orleans. He knew everything about her. Even the way that she felt about Klaus. Elijah was always the one to tell her to make a move before it was too late. And obviously too late she was.

Damon playfully pouted at her words, "You're not fun." He said before nodding, "Yeah I kind of got the fact that she was like us when you said that she knew Klaus." He replied sarcastically and smirked at her before nodding, "I think if you really wanted to you wouldn't have to use compulsion at all." Damon stated honestly.

"Because I know my brother, love," Klaus pointed out easily, not even missing a beat with his answer. "He doesn't like the idea of what I'm doing, so I'm certain that he's up to something. Besides, we haven't been on the best terms in a long time - and he's not fond of our family being locked away in coffins, either."

Amelia pouted slightly at his sarcasm and stuck her tongue out in response. "It's not my fault that I figured the information might have gone over your head, given that you're, well, you," she pointed out, her tone slightly teasing. His last words, though, made her blink with confusion. "What do you mean by that?"

Charlie raised an eyebrow at his words, "If Elijah doesn't like the idea of what you're doing doesn't that mean that you probably shouldn't be doing it? I mean he is supposed to be the noble brother is he not?" She asked, "And good at least someone other than me thinks it's crazy to lock your siblings up in coffins when they do something to upset you."

Damon added and then shrugged at her question, "I believe that you have the power to be able to get people to listen to you without compulsion. You're a leader Amelia. You got Charlie to come here did you not? And I'm sure she's heard no so wonderful things about here yet she still came with you."

Klaus tried not to roll his eyes to her words about Elijah. "I would expect you of all people to know that I don't really care much for noble Elijah's opinion," he said simply, though he couldn't help but to frown slightly to her later words. "Perhaps if they used their brains and avoided betraying me, they wouldn't get put in coffins."

"She heard not-so-wonderful things about you, not Mystic Falls," Amelia pointed out rather nonchalantly. "In fact, I quite love Mystic Falls. I just never wanted to come back because of the memories." Shrugging slightly, she let out a sigh, wishing that she could just head home by now, but she knew it wasn't likely to happen.

I still don't agree with it but I'm in no position to tell you what to do." she said and took another sip of her drink. In all honesty, Charlie still couldn't believe she was here, talking to Klaus. It was almost a dream come true for her. It would he better if Elijah and Rebeckah were there. But she didn't want to argue with him, knowing she would lose.
