Annica was standing by her boyfriend's locker, looking for him. She was so insecure and shy around everybody but him, and so she kept her head down, not wanting to see anybody looking at her or anything. Daryl, her boyfriend of two years, came up behind her and wrapped his strong arms around her waist, causing her to squeal. Annica giggled after he had released her, spinning around to face him and plant a light kiss on his lips.

Hollie's locker was beside Annica's, but Hollie wasn't even sure Annica was her name. The girl was so damn quiet, Hollie probably hadn't heard her say more than three words. Hollie thought she was absolutely stunning though. Everyone at school knew Hollie was a lesbian, so she didn't really feel the need to hide when she'd stare at Annica as her boyfriend hugged her, when she laughed. Hollie really just needed a way to get her talking.

Annica's boyfriend could be a bit of a perv. He casually slid a hand down in between Annica's legs, eliciting a gasp from her and a smack to his arm. It was hard to believe Annica was dating him, seeing as their personalities clashed so much. Daryl, seemingly unaware that Hollie was watching his girlfriend, or that she was even nearby, spoke to Annica in a quiet tone, but Hollie could hear him. "I'm gonna make you scream, kitten," he told Annica, whose eyes widened. She was clearly a virgin, but Daryl kept pushing her to have sex.

Hollie could see that Annica was clearly uncomfortable with what was going on. Hollie didn't hear what he'd said, but she knew whatever it was, Annica didn't like it too much. She looked a little scared. "Hey, Annica, right?" Hollie said, giving Daryl a small shove to get closer to Annica. "Mrs. Petire wants to talk to you. She told me to come get you. It's about your grade on one of her assignments." Hollie gave her a reassuring smile and nodded down the hall, away from Daryl.

Annica blinked when Hollie spoke her name. She cast a nervous glance at Daryl, and then nodded, following Hollie down the hall. "Thank you," she whispered, her frame shaking ever so slightly.

"No problem," Hollie said with another reassuring smile. "I don't know why you're with that guy if he makes you so uncomfortable. He seems like a bit of a dick. Sorry, jealously talking. I shouldn't stick my nose in it. Just thought I'd be the knight in shining armour and save the beautiful lady." Hollie knew, most likely, that the obnoxious flirting was all for nothing. But that wasn't gonna stop her, because hey, maybe it would work.

Annica felt heat rising up her cheeks. No, she couldn't be blushing. Last time she checked, she was straight. She had Daryl, who wan't do bad most of the time. She didn't want to be into a girl. How was that a good thing?

Hollie wrote the blush off as being embarassed when complimented, as so many people often were. "Anyways, Mrs. Petire doesn't need you. But, do you want to go get some lunch? I mean, it is the start of break anyways. I'm going home to grab some pizza if you want?"

Annica blinked. So Hollie had just used that to get her away from Daryl? How... nice. "Oh, sure. Pizza actually sounds good today," she said, a shy smile on her face.

"Yeah? Sweet," Hollie said with a smile. She nodded put her hands into her cardigan pocket as they headed towards the exit of the school. Hollie's house was only a block away, so it didn't take long for them to reach her house. She unlocked the door and walked in, kicking off her shoes and dropping her bag at the door. "Make yourself at home. No ones here but us."
